Eyes of Fury

Chapter 14 Story

Disclaimer: I don't own anything.

After some dinner and some down time Asura's family and Bayonetta's family headed to their respected quarters. Bayonetta went to her bathroom and fixed herself a bubble bath. She tested the water and found it to her liking. Bayonetta let her hair down, removed her clothes, and then she got into the tub.

"This is exactly what I needed." Said Bayonetta as she relaxed in the hot water.

After some relaxing and scrubbing, Bayonetta got out of the tub, dried off, and put on some skimpy lingerie and a short black nightgown. She then headed to the bedroom and found Luka already in the bed wearing some black shorts and taking some notes in one of his journals. Luka smiled at Bayonetta as she got into the bed next to him.

"Read me a story, Luka." Said Bayonetta.

"Alright I will tell the story of Aesir the God of Chaos. Long ago in the very beginning of our universe there was a god named Aesir who helped create the world of Gaea alongside another powerful god. Aesir created the realms of Paradiso and Inferno along with the Angels and demons that inhabit them. When humans were created they lacked free will. Aesir felt pity for the humans, so he decided to give the humans the gift of free will, but to do this Aesir had to sacrifice himself. His eyes were given to two humans granting them incredible power and they became the leaders and founders of the Lumen Sages and Umbra Witches. Aesir himself split into two separate beings and those vanished to parts unknown." Said Luka.

"So since Aesir was both a being of light and dark, that means I'm like him due to my parents." Said Bayonetta.

"Guess it does." Said Luka.

"Who was the other god with Aesir when he created everything?" Asked Bayonetta.

"Not a clue. I haven't found any info or clues regarding them." Said Luka.

"And what of the two beings Aesir split into?" Asked Bayonetta.

"I don't much about them or what happened to them. They could have gone to anyplace or any time. The halves might not be as strong as Aesir, but they probably possessed a great deal of power." Said Luka.

"Interesting. I wonder if we will ever encounter any of them at some point." Said Bayonetta.

"Who knows with gods." Said Luka.

"Indeed." Said Bayonetta.

The two of them then decided to call it a night and went to bed. Unbeknownst to either of them the future had some surprises for them.

To be continued.
