Chapter 16 Odd Child 2

Bayonetta, Rosa, Balder, and Asura flew through the air after the Gliders looking for the one that took Loki. The Gliders split apart from each other and all went racing towards the Carrier. The four heroes split up and each went after a Glider.
Asura caught up with his Glider as it turned to face him. The Goham lunged at the demigod and attempted to swallow him, but Aura dodged out of the way of the biting jaws and delivered a uppercut that sent the Glider flipping and spinning through the air. Asura sped forward and delivered a few more powerful punches to the Glider before sinking his hands into the creature's belly and ripped it open! Blood and guts poured from the Goham, but no Loki. Asura threw the dead beast away, before a energy blast sent from the Carrier knocked him to the ground below.
Balder caught up to his Glider and used a feather to summon an angel known as a Glamor. The Glamor had the appearance of a flying serpent-like dragon covered in gold decorations and jewels. It had a large upside-down face below the serpentine hood which it was able to talk through and operates it's entire body with, and used large golden wings to fly.
The Glamour let out a fierce roar as it charged at the Glider and wrapped it's long body around the Goham sinking it's fangs and claws into the enemy creature. As the Glider desperately thrashed around Balder flew in with his Holy Glaive and sliced the Glider's belly open. No Loki in the beast.
Rosa caught up with her Glider and fired a few shots from her guns making the Goham charge at her. The witch used her magic to summon a demon know as Diomedes. The Diomedes had the appearance of a large, black horse with four long spikes adorning both of its sides at the top of its body and red flames appear in place of a mane and tail, and eight legs, four in front and four on the back. It's most striking feature, however, is its long, sword-like horn protruding out of its forehead that resembles a unicorn's horn.
Diomedes let out a angry below as it charged at the Glider dodging it's jaws and slicing at the Goham's belly with it's large horn ripping it open. No Loki in the beast.
Bayonetta caught up with her Glider and fired a few shots at it with her guns getting the creature's attention before she summoned Madama Butterfly to deliver a few powerful blows to the Goham's belly making it unless a great deal of spit and bile, which also included the dazed form of Loki.
"Got you!" Said Bayonetta as she prepared to fly towards the boy and grab him, but a blast from the Carrier forced her to dodge back to avoid getting hit.
A Stinger flew in and caught Loki on it's back before it began flying to the Carrier. Bayonetta was about to fly after them, when a large Goham that resembled a octopi called a Lasher got in her way and began to fling it's tentacles at Bayonetta forcing her back. Bayonetta fired her guns at the Lasher, but they did little to injury the creature and only seemed to make it mad. The Lasher was about to charge at Bayonetta, when Asura flew in with a flying kick knocking the Goham away.
"Get the boy, I'll deal with this." Said Asura before flying after the Lasher to punch it.
Bayonetta quickly flew after the Stinger dodging shots from the Carrier as she chased it. Soon Bayonetta reached the Carrier and managed to shot the Stinger down making it land on the Carrier and causing Loki to roll off. Several Primary Howlers appeared and began to surround Loki, but Bayonetta blasted them away as she rushed to the boy's side. Loki groaned as he began to come to.
"What's...going on? Where am I?" Asked Loki as Bayonetta helped him up, while continuing to fight off the Primary Howlers.
"You took a ride in a Goham belly and now you're on a Carrier surrounded by Goham. Don't worry this is just a typical day for me. Just stay close and I'll get us out of here." Said Bayonetta as she continued firing her guns.
But with each Primary Howler she took down three more seemed to pop up to take their place. Bayonetta realized she and Loki needed to escape, otherwise they would be overrun and taken. A strange look suddenly appeared on Loki's face as he was surrounded by a blue and white aura.
"Enough!" Said Loki as two enormous glowing ethereal arms appeared next floating next to him.
"What in the world?" Thought Bayonetta has she gawked at the arms in mild shock.
The ethereal arms stretched and expanded as that flung themselves about and sent all the Primary Howlers flying away! The arms then vanished and Loki groaned as he stumbled around unsteadily. Bayonetta quickly caught the boy and held him up.
"Well you are certainly full of surprises." Said Bayonetta.
"I...have several tricks up my sleeve love." Said Loki with a smirk.
The Lurker then flew in and crashed into the Carrier, followed by Asura, who stomped hard on the Lurker killing it before he began jumping around the Carrier and pounding on it with his fists creating several cracks on the big Goham that spread across it's body. Bayonetta decided it was time to leave and quickly flew off the Carrier carrying Loki. Asura pounded the Carrier over and over, until the big Goham exploded from all the force of the blows!
Asura flew over to Bayonetta and Loki, who were joined by Rosa and Balder. The Goham were finally dead, but this attack had been different from previous ones. They had gone through a good deal of trouble to try and capture Loki. Loki had shown he had unusual powers. The group decided to take the young boy to Shinto and run some test on him. They all flew to return to their home with Loki along with them.
Unbeknownst to anyone another strange boy was about to be discovered.
