Mercedes Jones knocked on her boss, Sam Evans' office door before walking inside smiling at him and his wife.

"Sorry to interrupt..." she said, noticing him sitting on the edge of his desk with her lazily lying against his chest. He shot her a soft smile letting her know it was fine.

"I just wanted to confirm your meeting for tomorrow at 10:30." She asked, watching his eyes shift for a quick second before flashing her a smile, making her rake her lip through her teeth.

"10:30 sounds about right, thank you Ms. Jones." He answered lightly before following the pen she had in hand to her plump lips as she bit down on it and nodded. She smiled and waved at them both before leaving.

"I really wish you'd get a new assistant." His wife Penny said, looking at Mercedes as she sat at her desk before walking over and closing his door.

"We talked about this, she's the best assistant I've had and I really don't have a solid enough reason to get rid of her." Sam replied, hearing his phone go off and walking around his desk to retrieve it.

He saw that he received a text message and read it, training his features to remain impassive but his body wasn't as strong as his ability to control his facial features.

Check your desk...

He opened the drawer on his desk and fought back the deep groan that wanted so badly to escape before receiving another message.

I took them off while you were at lunch. Bring them to me later... They are my favorite. *wink*

Sam lightly touched the satin fabric running a sole finger along the lace trim before closing the drawer and quickly replying.

Tease.

He shot his wife a sweet smile before walking over to her and kissing her tenderly.

"You know you have nothing to worry about right?"

"It's not you that I don't trust.. it's her. She doesn't seem to care that I can see her visibly eye fucking you." Penny replied, kissing her husband gently, letting out a sigh.

"She's harmless, I think she likes keeping me on my toes besides she has a boyfriend… I think." Sam replied with a chuckle.

"Well that certainly makes me feel somewhat better... we should invite them over. You know what I'll do just that." Penny said, walking out before Sam could stop her. The blonde woman stood in front of Mercedes looking her over before clearing her throat to get her attention.

"Mrs. Evans, how can I help you?" Mercedes asked, smiling at the woman.

"Sam and I were actually talking and I wanted to invite you and your boyfriend over for dinner." Penny answered with a smile. Mercedes smiles back and nodded looking over at her boss for a quick second before looking back at Penny.

"My boyfriend and I would love to come over for dinner.. What time? Allow me to bring a bottle of wine as well." Mercedes answered sweetly.

"Oh great! What's his name? Also how's 7:30? Is that going to be fine…?" Penny asked her before looking at Sam to make sure the time was good for him as well.

"His name is Anthony and that time is perfect for me, Mr. Evans?" Mercedes said, then asked, saying his name with emphasis, also waiting for a response. Sam looked at his wife then Mercedes before nodding slowly with a small smile.

"Great! Then it's settled, I can't wait for the both of you to come over! I'll see you when you get home honey and I'll see you later Mercedes!" Penny said excitedly, giving Sam a quick kiss then waving at Mercedes as she left the office. Sam stood there looking as his wife's figure fleeting before turning his attention to his assistant who acted as though she was typing an important email.

"So… Anthony?" Sam asked, leaning on her desk looking at her intently, she smirked when she looked up at him and simply nodded.

"Is there a problem Mr. Evans?" She asked, ignoring his questioning gaze.

"You weren't supposed to agree to dinner..."

"Why wouldn't I want to go to dinner with my boyfriend?" She asked, smiling at him seductively before leaning in closer to him. "He's real handsy too, hopefully that won't make you and your wife uncomfortable."

"Hmm… well I can't wait to meet this Anthony, you can leave early I think I'm going to close up early." Sam said, standing up straight and adjusting his tie.

"Mhm. It gives me time to get ready for this double date… see you this evening." Mercedes said, grabbing her things after shutting down her computer. She started to walk out but turned around and walked into Sam's office to see him still gathering his things, she cleared her throat causing him to jump slightly.

"Sorry, I forgot this." She said before walking over to him placing a fiery kiss on his lips causing him to let out a groan when she pulled away flashing a sweet smile before leaving, adding an extra switch to her step.

Mercedes arrived with her boyfriend to the Evans' residence and she smiled up at Anthony who winked at her before placing a sweet kiss on her neck just as the door opened. She couldn't help the soft moan that escaped as he planted another kiss before gently biting her exposed flesh, they both jumped when they heard someone clear their throat.

When they turned around they were met by a pair of green eyes and a pair of blue eyes, the latter sparkling with excitement while the green pair were trained on Mercedes' for a moment before moving to the tall man standing next to her.

"Sorry… that was rude of us." Mercedes said, smiling innocently.

"No! It's totally understandable, you two are a beautiful couple." Penny said cheerily, moving aside and letting them inside with Anthony going first then Mercedes following and gently brushing against Sam as she did. She felt his hand move across her hip as he closed the door causing slight goosebumps to form along her skin.

She followed behind Anthony who held her free hand while her other hand held the wine bag, she couldn't help but feel eyes on her body and she looked over her shoulder biting her lip when she saw Sam's expression as he gazed at her body.

She purposely wore the dress she picked out because it clung to her curves and didn't allow her to wear a bra. She picked her silk cowl neck slip dress that was a deep green and she paired it with a pair of black strappy heels. Thankfully she wasn't over dressed because Penny wore a cap sleeves lace cocktail dress that was a beautiful shade of pink and a pair of off white pumps.

"I hope you both like steak." Penny said once they reached the dining room there were candles and a floral table runner that helped set the mood perfectly.

"Yes." Anthony and Mercedes said in unison.

"Here let me take that for you and put it on ice." Penny said, grabbing the wine from Mercedes with a warm smile.

"Do you mind pointing me to the restroom?" She asked before Penny left the room but before she could say anything Sam said he'd show her and told Anthony to make himself comfortable.

"I'll be right back baby." Mercedes said kissing him gently then turning towards Sam waiting for him to show her the way, she had to fight back a smile when they started walking down the hallway because he kept looking back at her before reaching the bathroom.

"Thank you." She said softly looking at him through her eyelashes then moving to go inside before she was stopped by his hand gripping her waist as he leaned in close to her ear.

"I will be the only person taking this off of you." He whispered and she held in her moan when she turned her head so that she was looking at him directly.

"You act as if he didn't help dress me." She said before flicking her tongue along his lips then squeezing by him and closing the door behind her smiling brightly knowing he would be thinking about what she meant for the rest of the night even if she had been lying she couldn't let him have all the fun.

After she finished in the restroom she was half expecting Sam to still be standing there but instead she was met by his wife who wore a warm smile.

"Sorry, but they were talking about football so I thought I'd make sure you were okay."

"Oh goodness! Anthony can talk about that for hours if you let him, let's go save this dinner before it goes down that crazy rabbit hole any further." Mercedes said with a light laugh and the blonde couldn't help but laugh as well as they walked back to the dining room.

"Shall we?" Penny asked noticing how Anthony looked at Mercedes when she came into view and felt a little jealous pang when Sam seemed too busy on his phone. Anthony reached for her hand which she gladly gave, allowing him to help her into her chair before placing a quick kiss on her lips.

"Here that way you can sit across from each other." Penny said, earning a confused look from her husband and their guest. "I read somewhere that if you go on double dates that the other spouse/ significant other should sit across to have better eye contact."

"I love that, that's actually very sweet." Mercedes said after a few moments, smiling as Anthony took the seat across from her and Sam sitting right next to her with Penny sitting across from him. Penny smiled lovingly at her husband who smiled back at her before noticing the silent exchange between Mercedes and Anthony and it made Penny blush while Sam wasn't amused in the slightest.

"So how long have you two been dating?" Penny asked while passing the salad bowl to Sam who was glaring at Anthony.

"A little over six months, how long have you two been married?" Anthony asked, smiling at the hostess.

"Five years actually."

"Wow, that's a really beautiful thing, most people don't want to get married nowadays… they would rather casually date or other things." He replied, pouring Mercedes some wine while she fixed her salad.

"Do you want to get married?" Sam asked him and Mercedes looked up at him before looking at Anthony.

"When I find the right woman, yes and before you ask no, I'm not saying she isn't in front of me. I'm just saying it's too soon to tell it all." Anthony answered, shooting a smile at Mercedes which she returned.

"And you, Mercedes?" Sam asked letting his hand closest to her fall and brush lightly against her knee making her gasp softly and as his hand moved higher causing her brain started to short circuit, she shifted slightly and it was a mistake because his hand grazed her inner thigh.

"I think when the time comes and like Anthony said when the right person comes along yes I would love to get married." She answered, biting her lip.

"I'm sure you'll make a lovely wife one day." Penny said, looking at both Anthony and Mercedes.

The dinner was relatively easy minus the occasional thigh grab from Sam, after everyone finished eating Anthony offered to help Penny clear the table while Sam and Mercedes went to pick a game for them to all play. Sam led them into their living room and showed her where all their games were as well as their vinyl music collection.
