So, for some reason, she was sitting in the hospital with Bruce Wayne while being served some tea and scones by the butler. The Butler was insisting that she call him Alfred and kept teasing the both of them. He really reminded her of her mother. But she did not know which one was more terrifying.

She did not know how she could escape her current predicament.

Well, he was getting his ankle monitor removed, and his name had been immediately cleared. So, this was a bonus. He was going to be out of her life soon, and hopefully forever. He could go back to Gotham, and he could stay there forever and ever. She knew he liked it, and he was going to stay there for a very long time.

She could faintly hear the reporters swarming and the clicking of the cameras. It was annoying, but it did not seem to bother anyone else in this room. But she could tell that Alfred did find them rather rude, especially the ones that tried to sneak in.

Yeah, so that sucked.

But at least she knew, or thought that she knew(?) that Bruce did not know what really was in the bathroom. And after the scolding that she heard Alfred give him, she knew that he would not want to talk about it again.

But it was weird.

He had not even said a single word to her. Not. .Word. And by that, she was referring to Bruce Wayne. He could barely keep eye contact with her and was stammering and stumbling a lot over his words when trying to talk. This was reminding her a lot of herself. Especially when she started dating, she got nervous any time she had a crush on someone.

And she could hear her heartbeat racing. At this rate, you could play the drums with it and almost anyone could hear it. Far. Far Too loud. It was embarrassing and was making her blush.

Was she getting thirsty?

Was this what being thirsty felt like?

And then she could hear her hero coming. She could hear his footsteps and knew that he was flirting with the receptionist so that he could get by.

Wait?

Hold the phone, because she recognised that heartbeat. She was the one who was following Oiver Queen, and she was quite surprised. really shocked. She could smell the perfume from here. She knew that perfume was used for only special occasions, such as a date.

And they both arrived. Hand in Hand.

And they were happy as can be. She was annoyed because Chloe did not tell her that she was dating Oiver Queen. And by the smile on her face and her heartbeat, she could tell that she knew the truth, and she knew that she knew the truth.

Chloe had helped clear this whole mess up, and that meant one thing. She could get out of here some and have Bruce Wayne out of her hair and out of her life for hopefully the rest of it. And she could not be happier.

And she could tell that this was going to be an awkward meeting. If only she could find a way to sneak out.

A disgruntled male reporter was reporting outside the hotel that they were wrong and that they were correct also. Not that they were reporting that a few days ago or even somewhere still reporting that Bruce Wayne was The Green Arrow.

If they only knew the irony of how close they were to the truth and how close they were to the biggest scope of their lives.

He almost smiled at the thought of it.

He was free and cleared within the hour. The police did very little to apologise, and they were just hoping not to be sued. He could easily see that many of them already had a grudge to spare with 'The Green Arrow' and which ones were in support of the masked vigilante. He was now back in his own hotel. Soon he would be back in Gotham and doing what he needed to do.

But first, he had unfinished business.

Alfred had insinuated on it.

He had unfinished business with 'The Green Arrow' and Oliver Queen that he had to attend to.

And somehow the four of them were on a double date (not that Clark knew it truly was) at a baseball game. Oliver Queen had special last-minute tickets that they could use, and they were truly weird seats.

This was the weirdest date that Chloe had ever been on.

Both males were disguised as your average guy, who was not here to save the world but merely to watch a game of baseball. They were wearing hats and sunglasses. And the fact that they wanted to wear what they thought were cheap sunglasses and a baseball hat left her and Clark in disbelief. They were just lucky Clark had a couple to spare for the both of them and sunglasses that they could buy anywhere. It was not the best disguise, but somehow it always seemed to work for celebrities. And they were not wearing suits for a change.

She was at a baseball game, and they had the best seats in the house. (Well, what she thought were the best seats, because to everyone else they were the worst.) From these seats, you could see everything and hear everything as well. And they were right next to the food stand and the bathroom. But she was doing her best to not smell those awful bathrooms and people throwing up in them.

And now it was break time.

"Ah, Chloe, can you come to the bathroom with me, please?" said Clark.

PLEASE!

The Ultimate Excuse to Escape

Well, for girls, anyone, with looking suspicious She wanted to run for the hills, so to speak, but now she was at one of the best games of a lifetime.

"Yeah," said Chloe.

She was almost speeding, running to get out of there and do her best to talk to Chloe. Talk to Chloe alone. She could see that there were a lot of eyes on them, and a lot of people were angry with them for some reason.

She did not realise the tight grip that she had on Chloe or that the two girls were being watched by Lex Luthor.
