Outside the medical bay, Goll and Hera waited for Brunhilde with an update on Ada and Reginleif's injuries.

"So, Hera, uhh, I like your dress," Goll said awkwardly.

Hera looked at the small valkyrie with a puzzled look.

"Thank you?" Hera answered with the same awkwardness.

Hera then gave a slight grin to Goll.

"What are you smiling about?" Goll asked

"I find it incredible that Reginleif girl was more powerful than I thought," Hera replied.

Goll smiled at Hera's supposed compliment.

"Yeah, she's incredible. Just glad she's okay."

Brunhilde exits the medical bay.

Goll rushed to her older sister and asked, "Sis, how are Ada Lovelace and our sister doing?"

Brunhilde gave a reassuring smile.

"They will be fine. Their injuries are being treated as we speak."

Goll breathed a sigh of relief. Then, Hera receives a notification from her scroll.

"It seems the gods have chosen their next representative for the fourth round."

"Strange, I should have gotten the message as well," Brunhilde said as she checked her scroll and didn't see the message.

As Hera checks the gods' next champion, her skin becomes pale after seeing the message.

Brunhilde and Goll looked at a shocked Hera.

"Lady Hera, are you alright?" Brunhilde asked

Hera didn't say anything as she showed them the message. Their face shows utter horror for the next fighter.

-Round 4-

Representing the Gods

"The Great Sage Equal To Heaven"

Sun Wukong

"No...no...they can't be serious, right? Are they really sending him out this early?!" Goll exclaimed in pure hysteria

Brunhilde gulped as she didn't think the gods would go to extreme measures.

Hera suddenly demanded, "We must hurry!"

Hera quickly runs to Humanity's Reserve Chambers with the valkyrie sisters following.

"Wait, Hera! Where are we going?" Goll asked as they passed which door

Hera quickly answered, "We need someone who could rival Sun Wukong, and I know just the demigod to do it."

Hera, Goll, and Brunhilde stopped at the doors of a particular fighter. The doors are solid gold with engravings that show this champion's adventures in his former life. The women entered the room. Goll was awestruck by the massive room.

The walls are a lapis blue with ancient Syrian art aligning them. The floors are well polish marble, and vibrant furniture matches the room's theme of regalia.

"This is incredible! It's like if some king lives here," Goll said starry-eyed.

Brunhilde scoffs, "Do we really need his help?"

Hera gave the eldest valkyrie a judging glance.

"Do you want to win or not?"

Brunhilde holds her tongue in adherence. Then Hera smells the scent of lavender and knows where he is. She heads to another set of doors that lead to the bathing room.

Before she opened the doors, Hera turned to Goll and said, "Cover your eyes."

Goll closes her eyes, and Hera enters the bathing chamber. The chamber was almost as big as the main room. The walls and floors are made of quartz, and there are statues of lions to liven the atmosphere. In the center is a massive pool with the water smelling of lavender.

It is filled with beautiful uncovered women, ranging from angels to succubi to demihumans. Most of them either play in the water or making out.

Among them is a handsome and strapping man resting his arms on two blonde hair angels. He has bronze skin, long midnight blue hair tied in a bun, golden yellow eyes, a well-trimmed beard, and a star-like scar on his chest.

The man looked at the three visitors and grinned.

"Well, if it isn't the mighty Hera and the beautiful Brunhilde! What do I owe this pleasure?" The man said with a voice oozing confidence and vanity.

King of Uruk and God of Kings

Gilgamesh (Mesopotamia)

Goll heard his voice and opened her eyes.

"Wait, is that-"

Goll then saw what was going on and yelled. Hera smacked her across her head.

"I TOLD YOU TO COVER YOUR EYES!"

Hera groaned as she looked at Gilgamesh and demanded, "Gilgamesh, we need to talk."

Before he can say anything, Hera interrupts, "Without the harlots."

Gilgamesh smirks at her.

"Fine, but the two angels beside me can stay. Ladies, wait for me in my bedroom, okay?"

All the women agreed as they got out of the large bath and dried themselves while leaving the bathing room.

Gilgamesh folded his arms and spoke to Hera in a nonchalant tone.

"So, what seems to be the problem since you came into my chambers unannounced."

Hera explains, "The gods have selected Sun Wukong to fight in round four. I need you to fight him on humanity's behalf."

Gilgamesh merely chuckled, "Come on, Hera. I know I seek the fight Zeus, right? After all, The God of Kings versus The King of Gods is more to my liking than me fighting Sun. Besides, I fought Wukong many times. In this case, it would be boring."

Goll was offended by Gilgamesh's dismissal of the situation.

"Okay, I know you're a king and a demigod, but you don't get to wave the dilemma we're facing here!"

The king rolled his eyes at the little valkyrie.

"Well, I see you're still as annoying as ever, Goll. Look, I understand your problems, but my mind is set. But thank you for visiting."

Hera sighed in frustration as they were about to leave.

"Oh, and Brunhilde," Gilgamesh said as it got her attention.

"It's really nice to see you again," Gilgamesh flirted while winking at her.

Brunhilde had a look of disgust as she left with Hera and Goll. As they left Gilgamesh's chamber, Goll was seething at the Uruk's king's behavior.

"That guy is such a jerk! I can't believe you put him into humanity's roster, Lady Hera!"

Hera soughed, "Look, he's insanely strong and is our ace in a way. But he is unbelievably arrogant."

They were looking for the next fighter when Goll noticed something that caught her attention. She saw two guardian angels in silver armor guarding a blackened oak door with chains around it. Goll sense a dark and powerful presence behind the door.

"Uh, Lady Hera, who's behind that door? Maybe we-"

Hera looked door at the door and said bluntly, "No, do NOT go near that door."

"Why," Goll asked.

Hera exhaled, "Behind that door is one of humanity's great evils and one that needs to be watched 24/7."

As they left, Goll could hear the chilling laughter of a little girl.

Brunhilde was getting frustrated about not having a champion for the fourth round.

"This is just great! We don't have anyone who would stand up to Sun Wukong."

Then a deep yet comforting voice is heard behind them.

"Maybe I can help?" The voice said earnestly

Hera, Brunhilde, and Goll turn around to see a tall, well-built man. He has dark skin adorned with scars from his past battles, long black dreadlocks tied in a messy bun, a short well-trimmed black beard and orange eyes. He wears a red yukata with a design of a bear on the right side. The man wears the right side while the left side droops down. He also wears a black obi with cloud patterns, black hakama pants tucked at the shins by studded leather shin guards, dark blue lacquered steel gauntlets, red prayer beads around his neck, and wrappings on his feet.

The Obsidian Samurai

Yasuke (Africa/Japan)

Goll gasped, "Wait, you! But...no offense, Mr. Yasuke, but Lord Wukong is way too strong."

Yasuke smiled, "Perhaps, but what type of man would I be when humanity's last hope is one the one. I will gladly risk my life for the human race."

Brunhilde sighed, "Very well then. Randgriz!"

Then a harmonic feminine replied.

"Coming, dear sister."

Walking towards the group is a beautiful woman with long, wide light brown hair that reaches to her waist, wears a gold spear hairpin on the back of her head, and has green eyes. She models a formal white and black dress with gold plates that wrap around her waist, a turquoise pendant, and black and white high-heel boots with metal shin guards.

Fourth Eldest of the 13 Valkyries

Randgriz (Norse)

"Big Sis Randgriz," Goll exclaimed as she went to hug her.

Randgriz gently caresses Goll's hair.

"It's nice to see you too, Goll."

Randgriz then looked at Yasuke and asked, "It seems you will be my wielder."

Yasuke nodded, and once Goll let go, Randgriz held the samurai's hand.

"It will be an honor to fight with you, Yasuke. Are you ready?"

"Yes," Yasuke said with a polite smile.

Randgriz nodded and uttered the word.

"Volund."

Back in the arena, everyone was ready for the fourth match to begin. The stadium returned to its normal state as Heimdall prepared the battle to begin.

"So here we are! The final bout between god and man, Ragnarok, continues! So far, the gods have two wins, and the humans have one. Can the human race achieve the impossible? Let's find out in Ragnarok: Round Four!"

As the crowd cheered, the gates on humanity's side began to open. Taiko drums are played by men wearing headbands and hakama pants above the gate.

"Throughout the Sengoku Jidai, many legendary figures have made their place in the history of Japan! Like Honda Tadakatsu, who, during many of his battles, has never received a scar. Or Mochizuki Chiyome, the noblewoman who created an organization of female assassins under the service of Takeda Shingen. But there is one who many would call The Shugoki!"

Yasuke walks into the arena while having an odachi between his back and wearing a kasa straw hat.

"This man came from overseas as a servant until he was brought into the service of the First Unifier, Oda Nobunaga! One of the strongest warriors during his period, he possessed the strength of an oni and an unbreakable will!"

As Yasuke walked to the center of the arena, he took off his hat and unsheathed his sword.

"Even after Nobunaga's death, his legacy brought him the moniker, The Obsidian Samurai! Give it up for..."

Yasuke held his head with the utmost dignity.

"YASUKE!"

Humanity's Fourth Representative

Yasuke

Humanity cheered on the legendary black samurai. Among them is an androgynous-looking man with immense pink hair, shiny lip gloss, and blue fingernails. He wore a vibrant kimono and a lotus hairpin.

"Come on, Yasuke-chan! I believe in you, brother!"

Yasuke's Sworn Brother

Mori Ranmaru (Japan)

The tall man beside Ranmaru wore dark armor with a flowing red cape. He had coarse black hair tied back, and had a mustache and a goatee.

"Men! Let us cheer everything we had for our comrade, Yasuke-san!"

One of the Three Unifiers of Japan and Yasuke's Sworn Brother

Oda Nobunaga (Japan)

Nobunaga's soldiers cheered for Yasuke they had fought with during their previous lives. A small smile crossed Yasuke's face as he knew his brothers were supporting him. He faces the gates where his opponent is waiting.

Heimdall announces, "Now, the god who will avenge the death of Athena and the odds on favorite to win! Here he comes!"

As the gates on the gods' side opened, something flew out at a blurring speed.

"Born from a magic stone atop the mountain, this warrior was destined for greatness! From receiving the great pillar from the Eastern Dragon Kingdom to causing havoc in all of heaven, he has been undefeated in combat!"

As the object flew around the arena, Yasuke noticed it was a cloud.

"After being imprisoned under a mountain by Zeus and The Buddha, the warrior went on a journey for redemption. In the end, he was welcomed among the gods as the Victorious Fighting Buddha! He is the GREAT SAGE EQUAL TO HEAVEN!"

The cloud descends to the arena floor. On it was a lean humanoid monkey with golden brown fur, flaming yellow eyes, a long tail, and pink skin. The primate sports the legendary phoenix feather cap, dragon-faced pauldrons, wooden bead necklace, tiger skin loincloth, blue silk pants, grey and black boots, and iron bracers.

The simian then pulled a small red stick from his ear. Amid a chorus of cheers from the gods, the staff grew in size as the monkey spun it around. The monkey-faced god stepped off the cloud with now Ruyi Jingu Bang in hand.

"SUN WUKONG!"

Then Sun spoke, "Alright, let's get this party started!"

The Gods' Fourth Representative

Sun Wukong (China)

The gods erupted in cheers and admiration for the esteemed Great Sage.

"Alright, Sun Wukong!"

"Yeeeeah, Sun, you're the man!"

"Your the best, Monkey King!"

"There's no way Sun will lose to that human!"

Meanwhile, Amaterasu and Huitzilopochtli look on with smug grins.

"Say, Amaterasu, how long do you think this human will last against Sun," Huitzilopochtli asked jokingly.

Amaterasu smirks, "He won't last five seconds."

Sun Wukong and Yasuke met face to face, and the Monkey King spoke.

"So you must be my opponent, huh? Yasuke, was it?"

Yasuke replied, "Yes, and I'm aware of who you are, Sun Wukong."

Sun's demeanor became serious.

"You know, there's no shame in backing out now. Your friends care about you, and you don't have to fight me."

Yasuke looked at Ranmaru and Nobunaga supporting him and smiled.

He turned his attention to Sun and responded, "Sorry, but I'm not backing down. I swore an oath of brotherhood, so I will keep it until the end."

Sun nodded in understanding.

"Okay then, know that I never hold back in a fight. So you better go all out with me. So from one guardian to another, DON'T HOLD BACK!"

Sun raised his staff into a combative stance.

The Obsidian Samurai gave a small smile.

"Very well. For the sake of the Oda Clan and the warriors of my era, expect no mercy!"

Yasuke grips his odachi tightly and focuses on the Great Sage.

Heimdall prepared the announced the match to begin!

"The destiny of mankind is still on the line in Ragnarok: Round 4! Representing the gods, The Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Sun Wukong! Representing humanity, The Shugoki of the Oda Clan, Yasuke! Ready...FIGHT!"
