"Hiya Chiyo-Chan!" Osaka said, smiling as Chiyo opened the door.

"Hello Miss Osaka! Please come in!" Chiyo said, her face lighting up.

Osaka walked in, dragging her duffle bag with a large lump across the ground, and her book bag in her right hand.

"Thank you for helping my with mah homework, I just don't understand them reciprocals and all."

"That's quite alright, I'm glad you got here early, that way we'll have more time to spend with Sakaki together. But uhh, don't you think you over packed?"

"What, this? Nah, I didn't overpack. But anyway, let's go get started!"

Sakaki glanced over to her clock again. 5:01 pm. "Osaka is probably there now... they're, probably, having fun... without me..." She had finished all her assignments and was laying down on her bed, occasionally checking her clock. She felt goosebumps wash over her body, feeling sadness engulfing her. Then, it became a feeling of anxiety.

"What if- I'm just a burden. They don't really want me around them because I don't talk alot, or I'm just not as smart. Do they hate me because I'm too soft? Was Chiyo mad because I held onto her plush for too long? Oh shoot, I don't have a gift for her. That's going to make her mad...she's not going to like me. I don't know, what to do..."

She looked over at her clock. 5:04 pm. She pulled her wallet out of her duffle bag and looked in it. 3000¥. She crouched under her bed and pulled out a small safe from under her bed, reaching under again to pull out a small key. She unlocked the safe and looked inside. She pulled out 2000¥ yen and ran to her kitchen looking for a blank card. She searched through all the drawers, but couldn't find anything. She began to shake, not knowing what to do. Collapsing, she fell into a ball, on the ground, crying.

There was a knock at Chiyo's door. Chiyo ran down her stairs followed by Mr. Tadakichi and Osaka. She opened the door and saw a towering Sakaki.

"MISS SAKAKI!" The two of them exclaimed as she walked in. "Oh, h-hello." Sakaki said, gripping her duffle bag tightly.

"Come upstairs! Osaka and I are almost done with her homework, so you have time to set up."

"Thank you Chiyo-Chan."

"She just wanted to help Osaka with her work. That's nice of her. I guess I worried for nothing." Sakaki thought. "But, I didn't even get her a gift. She... she'll hate me..."

As Chiyo and Osaka were going over the last problem, Sakaki was making sure her items were neatly positioned: her MP3 player and headphones were neatly in one one are on top of her bag, and her pajamas and toothbrush adjacent to them. Chiyo exited the room to go make coffee for her guests. Osaka put her books away and walked up to Chiyo's table, where Sakaki was now sitting.

"So Miss Sakaki, what did you get Chiyo-Chan?" She wispered.

"Oh, uh, it-it's a surprise."

"Ohhh, a suprise. Nothing better than a suprise. I've bought her one of those Neko Coneco stuffed animals, the ones that are way bigger that the usual ones." Sakaki's eyes followed Osaka's extended arm, and immediately widened upon seeing a massive foot and a half bulge in her duffle bag.

"Ah sure hope Chiyo-Chan likes it!"

"M-me too."

The trio were watching a movie later that night, after eating some sushi for dinner. Osaka and Chiyo were fully engrossed in the movie, with Chiyo taking sips of coffee every five minutes to stay awake. Sakaki, on the other hand, while happy that there was no yelling, was still plauged by the thoughts of the coming day. How would she explain to Chiyo that she didn't have a present? Eventually, the time came for them to go to sleep. Osaka and Chiyo both came up to the futon with stuffed animal in both their arms.

"Miss Sakaki, I would've thought you liked to sleep with stuffed animals." Chiyo told the dark haired girl.

"Oh, uh-"

"Well you can borrow mine if ya want!" Osaka said, holding out a stuffed bear with an arm missing.

"That, um, that's quite alright, Osaka. You should probably sleep with him."

"Well, if yah insist."

"Oh I know!" Chiyo ran over to the corner of her room, where she kept most of her stuffed animals, and pulled out the Pikachu from earlier on that day. Chiyo walked back over.

"Here you go!"

Sakaki stared at it for a short while, before hugging it.

"T-thank you... Chiyo-Chan."

"Thats ok Miss Sakaki! You're my friend, so I don't mind!"

The three of them each layed on the futon, all of them quickly falling into a deep sleep.
