Sakaki was in her room again. She looked around and saw her room was the same, except for a dark purple tint that masked the walls and ceiling. She opened her door and saw her hallway, much narrower than she had remembered. Walking down it, yelling could begin to be heard.
"Ah hate you, Chiyo-Chan!" Osaka yelled at the small girl.
"Well I hate you too!" Chiyo exclaimed
"I don't wanna be friends with you no more, ya hear!"
"Good, I don't either!"
Sakaki noticed that Chiyo had a large suitcase near the door.
"Oh look, Miss Sakaki. What great time to come out of ya room!"
"Did it get too boring in there? I would have thought after spending every day in there the must have been something interesting in there."
"Wh-why are you guys fi-"
"BECAUSE OF YOU!" Osaka and Chiyo screamed in unison. Sakaki lost her footing and fell over, breaking through the floor. She looked up and saw them staring down as she fell further and further.
Sakaki jolted up, her whole body in a cold sweat. She looked over to where Chiyo and Osaka were. Osaka was sleeping with no blanket, while Chiyo had her head right next to Osaka's, curled up in a blanket. Sakaki checked the time. 3:24 am. She layed back down, thinking over what had happened. She hoped that tomorrow would be a good day.
Osaka and Chiyo woke up at about the same time. "Happy birthday Chiyo-Chan." Osaka softly whispered. "Thank you Osaka." Chiyo replied, also whispering so as not to wake up Sakaki. Sakaki, however, had already been up for a little while. She rolled over and looked at Chiyo. She and Osaka hadn't moved their heads.
"Happy birthday, Chiyo-Chan." Sakaki said, at normal volume. This caught their attention, causing Chiyo to sit up. "Thank you Miss Sakaki." Chiyo smiled over to Sakaki, causing her to also smile.
"Hey Chiyo-Chan, why are people called morons?" Osaka asked, half asleep.
"Umm, I don't exactly know." Chiyo told her, trying to laugh it off.
"Was some guy called Moron just an idiot and people started using his name as an insult? Or was he called Morton and then people misspelt his name on purpose to make fun of him?" The other girls just looked at her, before hearing her falling asleep again. Chiyo threw a blanket over her while she and Sakaki got out of the futon. Sakaki began to heat up all over, scared and almost sweating. "Um, Chiyo-Chan, I... I have to tell you something."
"Oh, what is it?"
Sakaki looked down, moving her tounge around for a while until she began to talk to her.
"I-I-I don't have a birthday present for you, I'm really sorry Chiyo-Chan. I should have remembered it was your birthday soon and I wanted to get you something, b-but..." she was beginning to cry.
"WAHH! MISS SAKAKI ITS OK! DON'T WORRY!" Chiyo wrapped her arms around Sakaki's waist as she bend over to hug back.
"I'm sorry Chiyo-Cha-"
"That's ok! You didn't have to give me a gift at all! It means alot you're here just to stay over for a few nights!"
Osaka sleepily got up and went to put her arms around the two of them.
"Don't cry Miss Sakaki, The girl then fell asleep leaning on them with her arms resting on their backs
