The three girls walked out of Chiyo's gates to her house and onto the sidewalk.

Chiyo had plans to take them out to lunch, after going to the arcade. Unbeknownst to them, Chihiro and Kaorin had been planning to go to that same arcade that day.

"Hurry up Chihiro!" Kaorin said, repetitively knocking on her bedroom door. "Ok, ok, I am, just stop knocking!" Chihiro opened her door, placing her purse over her shoulder. They both exited the house and began walking on the pavement. "It's really nice outside today." Chihiro said. "Yeah, it really is, isn't it." Kaorin replied, glancing up at the sky. "Say, why is the sky blue?"

"I think it's something to do with the way light hits the Earth's atmosphere. The blue light just spreads out more."

"Ohhh, that's pretty neat. It would be neat if the sky was pink or another color on some days."

"That would be pretty cool. Speaking of another color," Chihiro smirked "how are things between you and Sakaki?" Kaorin turned a bright red.

"Wh-what does that have to do with the sky!!!"

"The color changing! You do turn red whenever you hear her name, or see her, or think about her, or..."

"Ok ok I get it!"

"So how are things?"

"Well, not...not that good. The last time I talked to her...it wasn't very pleasant."

Sakaki had been walking out of school alone. She had to return some books to the library, so she hadn't walked home yet. Kaorin had seen her, and decided to try and walk up to say hi.

"Hello Miss Sakaki!"

"Oh, hi Kaorin."

"So, how are you?"

"I'm, doing ok."

"That's gr-"

Kaorin lost her footing and tripped over, trying to reach for Sakaki's arm, but instead she had caught her uniform, causing a rip. Kaorin looked up and saw a rip in her sleeve. "I-I'm so sorry!!!" Sakaki turned and made eye contact with her. She opened her mouth up to speak, but Kaorin turned, running away in tears.

"Kaorin, wait! It's ok!"

"That happened on Thursday, right?" Chihiro asked. "Yeah, it did. I've been scared to go near her since. It's kind of hard..." Kaorin sighed. They turned a corner and waited at a crosswalk. "Chihiro, Kaorin!" Chiyo called out, catching their attention. "Hello Chiyo! It's nice to see you!" Chihiro told to small girl. While Osaka caught up and started to talk with the two, Kaorin saw Sakaki walking towards them. She quickly turned redder than before and looked away. "Hello Kaorin." Sakaki said

"Oh crap!" Kaorin thought.

"Oh uh, hi Miss Sakaki! Haha..."

"Hey Kaorin," Chihiro began "Chiyo and the rest of them are going to the arcade, too."

"Ahh, that's nice!" She said

"Shoot."

The arcade wasn't very busy, it was mostly full of kids and couples. Chihiro split off with Chiyo and Osaka, leaving Kaorin with Sakaki.

"Hey Osaka, what games do you like?" Chihiro asked.

"Me? Well I like them fighting games. I'm real good at them."

"Woah, really Miss Osaka!"

"Hey look, an old fighting game, over there! Come on, show us how to play it!"

Osaka, Chihiro, and Chiyo ran over to go and play on a cabinet, while Sakaki and Kaorin walked over to the claw machines.

"So, do you...like these machines?" Kaorin asked, blushing as she did so.

"Yeah, they're fun." She put 500 yen into the machine and began to play. Kaorin pulled out a wallet and put in a 1000 yen bill.

"If I can win something from here, I can give it to Sakaki, then she can forgive me." Kaorin thought. She focused onto a plush cat, around nine inches tall. She had 40 goes to try and get it in.

"It's near the shoot so it can't be that hard." She told to herself. After around 27 tries, she finally grabbed onto it. "YES!" She looked over to Sakaki, who was holding a small stuffed bear. Kaorin hid the plush behind her back.

"Umm, Miss Sakaki?"

Sakaki turned her head.

"This is for you!" Kaorin pulled out the plush and held it out, facing down as she did so. Sakaki blushed, and took the stuffed animal from her.

"W-wow Kaorin, thank you."

"It was nothing, really. It's kind of an apology gift. I'm sorry I ripped your sleeve the other day."

"Oh, don't worry about it, please! It's nothing. I was more concerned about of you were ok or not. You ran off, and I was scared you were hurt or something."

"Ah, well, I kindaaa freaked out haha. But hey, if you want, you can come over to my house on Monday and I can sew it for you if you want."

"Oh, yeah. That would be really nice of you."

"Haha, it's nothing."

"Oh CRAP! I invited Miss Sakaki to my house! And she said yes! Oh no!" Kaorin thought to herself, smiling through all of it. Chiyo ran out to where Sakaki and Kaorin were. "You guys, come in! Osaka is doing great on one of the fighting games!" The two walked in, led by Chiyo.

"Thank you for letting us hang out with you, Chiyo!" Chihiro said.

"Yes, and thank you for lunch aswell." Kaorin added.

"That's ok! We'll see you on Monday!" Chiyo said, waving them off with Osaka and Sakaki. They waved in response, and walked a seprate way. "So, how was your conversion with Sakaki?" Chihiro asked innocently, making Kaorin instantly blush, but not as much as before.

"Well, I may have invited her over to my house, on Monday." Kaorin responded, twirling her hair a bit.

"And what did she say."

"She said yes!"

"Kaorin that's amazing!"

"I know! I'm so excited! I'll finally have time to be with Miss Sakaki, all alone..." Kaorin's mind began to wander.

"What do you guys have planned?"

"Oh, um, I'm...sewing...her uniform..." Chihiro looked at her, before bursting out laughing. Kaorin began to heavily blush.

"Hey, I invited her over to my house! She's going to spend time with me and you can't take it away from me!" Chihiro stopped laughing when she saw tears about to form.

"I know, I'm sorry." She hugged her best friend. "I'm happy for you two, but you have to tell me how it goes, ok?"

"I will, I promise!"
