Is there a ray of hope
A heart's true sunbeam
Will they be the one
That we can hold supreme
Can they provide salvation
Without some kind of scheme
To show one the true path
For their soul to redeem
When feelings and emotions abound
It will make our smile beam
Love and joy equally shared
Will make both hearts gleam
We can build each other up
With worth, pride and esteem
No longer alone and vanquished
Will our mind need to scream
Is there yet a common theme
Without anything too extreme
We are all on the same team
We can become the crop's cream
To some it may seem
Love evaporates like steam
In life's daily stream
Leaving us only to day dream
