As the sun rose across the vast, blue, Japanese sky, Sakaki and Kaorin laid restfully in each others arms in their futon. The two woke up at about the same time, not moving from their stances as to not awaken the other. Kaorin felt a moment of bliss engulf her.

"I love you." She whispered under her breath.

"Did you say something Kaorin?" Sakaki said, opening her eyes, revealing herself to be fully awake but stationary. This prompted Kaorin to let go of her and move away.

"N-no, nothing, just thinking out loud. Are you feeling any better?"

"Yes. Thank you."

They both smiled at eachother and began to get it of bed.

"Am I an asshole?" Tomo asked Yomi, falling backwards onto her bed as rain hammered on their hotel window. Yomi looked over to her friend from her bed, putting down her book and putting on her glasses.

"Yes."

"Do you really think so?"

"Yes. You are. But you're also funny, so that evens it out."

"Really?"

Tomo perked up at this.

"At times."

"Come on, I must have atleast one redeeming qualities."

Yomi dwelled on this thought for a minute.

"Probably."

"Probably?! What do you mean by that, I do or I dont?"

"Well, when we were younger, I hung out with you because you were funny and a nice person to be around."

"And I'm not now?"

"You are nice at times, my sense of humour changed so you're not as funny to me. But that stunt you pulled on Friday was a bad move."

The two were silent for a minute, eventually being broken by Tomo.

"You're right."

Yomi wasn't sure how to react, since she hadn't anticipated her admitting it.

"Do you have Kaorin's phone number?" Tomo asked her friend.

"Yeah, why?"

"I..." Her voice trailed off into inaudible muttering.

"You...?" Yomi asked, already predicting what it would be.

"I want to...say sorry." She slumped back down onto her bed and turned her head away, embarrassed. Yomi was somewhat surprised to hear this.

"Well, you shouldn't call her to say sorry. You should tell her in person, when we get back home."

Tomo sighed.

"Hey, it'll be better in person. Plus, you have time to think about what to say."

Tomo rolled her eyes at this, but knew that Yomi was right.

"Okay, I will. I still need her number, to meet up."

"Sure."

She picked up her purse and threw it over to her friend, who caught it.

"Thanks Yomi."

"So how are we all gonna to sleep tonight?" Osaka asked after they all walked back into Chiyo's house.

"It's only about 6:30pm Miss Osaka, don't we have some time?"

Osaka looked at her watch.

"Aw shoot, mah watch is broken. It says it's 9:27pm."

"Wait, my watch says 7:38pm." Kaorin piped up.

"Yeah, mine too." Sakaki added.

"How did you get to 6:30, Chiyo?" Kagura asked.

"On my watch, look." She took off her watch and gave it to her friend.

"Hmmm." She pulled out her phone and checked the clock.

"It says 7:38."

"Wha-? How did it get a whole hour behind!" Chiyo exclaimed in a worrying tone.

"Don't worry Chiyo-Chan, mine was two hours ahead. We can fix em. That way we'll be able to tell the time better."

"Y-yeah, you're right."

Everyone but Chiyo and Osaka went upstairs, staying down to make tea for them and carrying it up a few minutes later. As they began to drink it, Osaka reiterated her previous question.

"So anyways, how are we all gonna sleep?"

"Well, Miss Kagura is not sleeping on the couch again."

"Are you sure Chiyo? I don't mind."

"Yes, I'm sure. I don't want anyone sleeping on the couch."

"The futon is quite small, so I don't know how many we could fit."

"Well, Chiyo-Chan and I took up about half of the thing, and so did Miss Sakaki."

Sakaki blushed at hearing this.

"D-don't put it like that, please."

"A ha!" Chiyo exclaimed. "Me, Miss Osaka, and Miss Sakaki can share the big futon, we can all fit on there, and then Miss Kaorin and Miss Kagura can sleep on my bed."

"W-wait, Chiyo, are you sure?" Kaorin asked nervously. "I-I mean it is your bed, shouldn't you sleep in it?"

Chiyo shook her head.

"Nope, I don't mind sleeping on something else, especially since it's for you guys!"

"Well that's really kind of you, Chiyo-Chan." Kagura said.

"Thank you." The two exchanged a smile.

"Goodnight Miss Kaorin, goodnight Miss Kagura." Chiyo said as she turned off the light and closed the door behind her. Kaorin speedily walked to the bed, making sure she could sleep on the right side, as she had hidden Penguin under the bed. Kagura got in on the left side and didn't say anything. She was nervous to ask anything, while Kaorin was sad she couldn't be with Sakaki.

"So, um, did she tell you anything?"

Kaorin rolled over at hearing this, making sure to obscure her stuffed animal, and prompting her friend to roll over.

"She did, but she doesn't want me saying what it was. She told me she was feeling better this morning."

"That's good. Thank you."

"Yeah, no problem. B-but...um..."

Kagura became curious over what she would potentially say.

"Yeah?"

"Do you love Miss Sakaki?" Kaorin blurted out. Kagura began to blush and feel slightly agitated.

"N-No! No I don't! Why do think that?! Did Chiyo tell you?!" She angrily whispered.

"N-no! I promise! I-I-I'm just wondering! That's all!"

"What would make you say that?!"

Kaorin fell silent at this. She didn't say anything for a few seconds.

"Because...it's something I would do..."

Kagura began to understand fully now.

"So, you do like her?"

She sqwirmed for a few seconds.

"Ok, yes, I do. Ok?"

She rolled over and grabbed onto her penguin. Kagura began to feel a sense of guilt.

"I'm sorry. I won't tell anyone."

"It's fine, Tomo already told everyone."

"She knew? Why would she know? You're not friends with her, are you?"

"Well, not really. I was with Chihiro, at school, in the bathroom."

"So, what's going on in your love life?" Chihiro asked Kaorin.

"Chihiroooooo, why would you ask that?"

"Hehe, I'll say mine if you tell me yours."

Kaorin's sense of curiosity overwhelmed her, so she caved.

"Ok, let me whisper it to you."

She lent in to Chiyo's ear and began to whisper to her. Chihiro's eyes widened.

"Y-you're ga-" Kaorin covered her mouth.

"Shhhhhh!"

"Mhmhmhmhmhmh."

"Don't say it."

She pulled her hand away.

"Do, do you see me any differently?"

Chihiro shook her head.

"Of course not, I'm just surprised is all."

"Yeah, me too." Tomo said, coming out of the stalls. Kaorin's face fell pale.

"Wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh" Kaorin began, being cut off by Chihiro.

"What did you hear?" Chihiro demanded.

"Oh, nothing. But personally, I think you and Sakaki would make a great couple, Kaorin."

Kaorin was beginning to shake.

"Don't you tell anyone! That was private!"

Tomo brushed her off.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. I'll see you guys around." She began to walk out, but was stopped by someone walking in.

"Oh, sorry Miss Kurosawa."

"That's ok Tomo." She looked over to see Kaorin about to break down.

"Kaorin, are you ok? What's wrong?"

Chihiro spoke up on behalf of her friend.

"Tomo was eavesdropping on our conversation, she was telling me something very private, and Tomo heard all of it, and then made fun of her for it."

"Miss Takino" Nyamo began, hearing Tomo walk away "get here." She trudged back and turned around.

"I don't want to disclose what you heard to anyone. If you do, I can assure you I will punish you. Now get out of here."

Tomo walked away, while Chihiro and the teacher helped Kaorin.

"That's how she knows. And then when we were on out last day, she told Sakaki. But she doesn't know it's real. I punched her because I got mad, and now we're here."

Kagura took a minute to process everything.

"I'm glad you punched her. It was pretty cool, I'd never imagine you doing that."

Kaorin began feeling sadder because of that.

"But hey, I won't tell anyone, and I can make sure no one makes fun of you for it. Trust me, no one will hurt you."

She put her hand on Kaorin's shoulder, to which she moved her own hand on top of.

"Thank you, thank you so much."

"That's ok. We should probably sleep now. Goodnight, sweet dreams."

"Sweet dreams to you to."
