Kagura and Kaorin were talking quietly in the other room.

"So what is it about Furanku that you like?" Kaorin inquired.

"He's so nice. Whenever I see him he's always talking to someone and making them laugh. I know that it would be so nice to hold his hand. I don't know why but holding hands seems really nice. Hugging too. I love him so much."

Kaorin smiled at her friend.

"I know what you mean. Every time Sakaki crosses my mind, I always image her in my arms."

She pulled the covers up to her neck as her eyes closed and she began to imagine the sensation.

"Your arms?" Kagura began to giggle at the thought of it. "You're like half her size, how are you going to hold her."

Kaorin shuffled over and tried to wrap her arms around Kagura. She could get one arm over and around her but couldn't wedge the other under her friend to fully have her in her arms.

"See? You wouldn't be able to do that." Kagura teased as she pulled the arm off of her.

"Well maybe you're just too big for me." Kaorin rebuted as she rolled over.

"Even if I was, Sakaki's two times bigger."

Kaorin didn't respond, which worried Kagura.

"Hey, I'm just kidding, don't get worked up about it."

The silence lingered on for a little longer.

"I don't think she likes me."

"You don't know that for sure, she still could. I'm not sure if Furanku likes me either, but I'm hoping he does. I'll ask him to hangout sometime and then we can see what happens."

Kaorin remained stagnant and didn't say anything. Kagura put an arm around her.

"I'm sorry. It'll be ok."

"I hope it will." Kaorin gripped onto the blanket as her friend removed her arm and rolled over. Kagura then felt someone's arms grip onto her.

"I could hold her." Kaorin whispered.

Osaka loomed over Kagura's sleeping body, sleeping softly and tenderly. She crouched down until their eyes were level. Her arm moved up towards her face and Osaka began to poke and Kagura's cheek. She smiled as Osaka's small, soft fingers bounced off her cheek. She found it amusing and began to continually poke at her cheek.

"Furankuuuu." She mumbled out.

"Who's Furanku?" Osaka asked. Kagura opened her eyes to see Osaka blissfully poking her cheek.

"UWAH!" Kagura yelped out, pulling up the covers to shield herself.

"Who's Furanku?" She repeated, using her hand to pull down the covers.

"I-I don't know! Why?!"

"You were mumbling that name when you was sleepin' an' ah was pokin' ya."

"Well I don't know who it is, maybe you heard wrong."

"Probably. Anyway, Chiyo-Chan made waffles, so come on down."

Osaka left the room as Kagura jumped out to hurry downstairs. The other three were sitting at the table, Kaorin and Chiyo were locked in a conversation and Sakaki was silently eating her food alone.

"Good morning." Sakaki quietly said to Kagura.

"Morning, you ok?"

Sakaki responded with a nod.

"What about you?"

"I'm ok."

"Do any of y'all know anyone called Furanku?" Osaka asked. Kagura turned red at this.

"Oh yeah, he's in the back of our class. No one really notices him." Kaorin gleefully said, Kagura getting more red with every word.

"Ah, so what made yew notice him?"

"Someone bought him up with me."

"Ah see, Kagura was talkin' bout him this mornin'."

"N-no I wasn't!"

"Yew weren't?"

"Nope. Not at all."

"Oh. I thought yew were." Osaka went back to eating waffles and the others began talking again.

"Goodbye everyone!" Chiyo waved to her friends, as all but Osaka left her house, waving back to you young girl.

"That was fun, I hope we can do this again." Kaorin noted.

"Hey, you want to hang out some time?" Kagura asked.

"Aw yeah, that will be great!"

"What about you Sakaki-Chan, you want to come hang out with us?"

Sakaki was silent at first, but managed to squeeze out "Y-yes please."

"Awesome! We'll make some plans soon!"

Sakaki saw the two of them turning to go down another road.

"I'm, I live up here...a bit...bye." She waved goodbye to her friends. Her walk home felt slower than usual. She got home to see her house with an empty driveway. She unlocked the door and took off her shoes. She went up to her room and closed the door. After emptying her bag and riding everything she got showered and changed, before laying down on her bed. A while later her father walked in and turned on the light.

"Sakaki?" Her father asked.

"Where's mom?" She replied in a monotone voice.

"She went to stay with her parents. She doesn't want to be around me anymore."

She picked up the sadness in her father's voice as he said those last words. He sat down on her bed and put his arm on her shoulder. Her eyes began to water and she rolled over to embrace bee father, breaking down as she burried her face deeper into him.

"I'm homeee!" Kaorin exclaimed as she walked in.

"Oh, someone's on the phone for you, here." Her mother gave her the phone and picked up her bag to bring it to her room.

"Hello?"

"Um, h-hi."

"Hi?"

"I-its me. Tomo."

Kaorin began to feel irritated.

"How did you get my phone number?"

"I asked Yomi for it. Listen, can we, maybe, meet up tomorrow?"

"I don't know."

"Please? I kinda want to take you somewhere..."

"Is she gay?" Kaorin thought.

"Um, sure." She replied

"Thanks, does noon sound good? We can meet up near the park a while away from school."

"Yeah, ok."

"O-ok, I'll see you tomorrow, heh."

Kaorin hung up the phone.

"Who was it, sweetie?" Her mother inquired.

"Just a friend, she want to see me tomorrow."

"Oh, that's nice."

"Also, I came home early to spend some time with you. Do you want to watch a movie together tonight?"

"Yes, I would love to!"
