Knightwolf1875: it's a common plot reveal when it comes to Raynare's fate in fanfics, so as to spare her life.

Disclaimer: I do not own Devil May Cry or High School DxD. I only own the OC Drake Redgrave.

Once again, the early morning sunlight broke through the curtains of Drake's room and landed harshly on his eyes. The young man groaned softly as he wiggled around in his comfy and warm position, and pulled the soft and warm source next to him closer to his chest. Drake had a small smile on his face as he rubbed his face to the soft and supple mound in front of him, but was woken up even more when he heard a very familiar voice moan.

Drake's rational thoughts broke him out of the morning drowsiness and made him part his eyes to see what really was in front of him, and he showed no surprise as right up against his face, was the large and soft breast of Rias Gremory, and her nipple was pressed up against his cheek. The Son of Sparda simply sighed at this common thing, but his stronger exhale stimulated Rias' other nipple and made her moan in her sleep again.

The Demon Hunter tried to pull away from the warm embrace, but he found that not only were his arms wrapped around the redhead, her arms were locked around him like a vice-grip, one of her long legs draped across his own. The beautiful girl had a warm smile on her face as she pulled Drake's head fuller against her chest, and accidentally rubbed her large breasts sensually against his face.

'I can feel the hate of men all over the Earth. They'd kill to be in my position right now.' thought Drake to himself as he pulled his pelvis away from Rias as much as possible so that he won't poke her with his arousal. Fortunately for him, he was actually wearing rather thick shorts because of the cold night, so the bare-skin contact was not nearly as much as the first few times.

Rias snuggled deeper into her pillow and pulled her source of warmth closer, once again rubbing her breasts into Drake's face…

'I really should start expecting this a lot more.' Drake thought.

It's been a whole month since the events at the Church, in which a few things have happened for the son of Sparda... well, not a lot but a few at least. The first was that he gained a new little sister in Asia Argento, though she was now staying at Issei's place despite Drake's first doubts about it but the little pervert has proven that he could be trusted. Drake's respect for him went up a little when he declared he had thrown his porno magazines out of his bedroom and into the attic due to Asia's presence in the house. Drake would rather there be no porno stuff around his sister, but he supposed that would do.

Another thing that changed for Drake was that he had two partners in his Demon Hunting job. Raynare and Kalawarner have really pulled their weight when living under Drake's roof, training with each other to sharpen their skills and their power, as well as train with Drake. They've been on several Demon Extermination jobs, either solo, as a duo, or as a trio if the problem needed all three of them to handle it. The two Fallen Angels seemed to really enjoy their new lives, chatting carefree and even eating pizza alongside Drake when he orders it in.

What truly redeemed them, especially Raynare, in Drake's eyes was when they apologized to the Devils, and especially to Asia. Drake had been there as a form of support for them, having told them that the first steps to forgiveness is an apology. But Asia, not having a mean bone in her body nor the type to hold a grudge, accepted their forgiveness easily and hoped they could be friends. After all, it was her big brother's dream that one day, all races would be at peace with each other.

It certainly made having them around the Devils that much easier, especially after Raynare apologized to Issei for stringing him along and then killing him. If she had learned the orders were fake and not from Azazel, she would've stuck to the original orders in the first place.

The next big change had to deal with Rias. Ever since she 'experimented' with Drake by sleeping with him at night—no sex—the redhead seemed to always sneak into his house and lay down with him in bed.

Her attitude towards him had greatly changed not long after Raynare and Kalawarner were staying at his place. She became much more affectionate and friendly. Of course, even though her sleeping in bed with him naked was awkward and embarrassing at first, he was still a healthy young man and he enjoyed having such a beautiful woman snuggle next to him in bed. Honest to himself, Drake felt very comfortable and relaxed when Rias would sleep next to him; the only downside was his awkward morning wood the morning after…

He stared at her for a solid ten seconds, not helping himself from taking in her beautiful details, before returning his mind to the situation. He doesn't mind when she was like this, in fact, he liked it and would cuddle with her some nights, but he was really starting to worry.

Whenever he saw her alone and/or had no one talking to her, she would be in her own thoughts. Lost in her mind, thinking about something with a look of seriousness. Drake would have to either raise his voice to get her attention or place a hand on her, and when she can to her senses she just switches to a different subject. Rias seemed no better at night. About midnight, she'd either be trembling or sweating or even in tears while mumbling words about something taking her away in her sleep. This would often wake Drake. After seeing her in the distressed state and wanting greatly to relieve her of the suffering, he started to cuddle with her every night to ease her. At first she would stiffen and try to push him away, but a second latter and Rias would be hugging him back tightly until she calmed down.

It scared him really. Rias has always been a confident and passionate girl, while being an imposing and powerful Devil. Being able to escape her grasp, Drake sits up and looks down at the redhead. What could possibly be taking her attention away and trapping her in her thoughts? What could make her so scared at night?

He smiles sadly and reaches a hand to her gorgeous face. Careful to avoid her lovely lips and snow-white shin that was so soft to touch, he bruises lock of stray hair away from her closed eyes. He may not have known what was bothering Rias, but he was going to do everything in his power to help her.

"Good morning, Drake." said Rias suddenly, which made Drake jump in surprise, having not noticed her awaken or even open her eyes.

His blue eyes looked into Rias' soft blue orbs. "Good morning, Rias. How did you sleep last night?"

The red haired beauty smiled elegantly and nodded. "I slept great; there is just something about your bed that makes me sleep like a baby!" Rias covered her mouth as she yawned and sat up fully on the bed; making Drake's eyes follow her slightly bouncing breasts.

He resisted the urge to groan at the sexy sight, and rose one of his knees under the cover so his manhood wouldn't form a tent under the blanket. Rias was the most beautiful girl Drake had ever seen in his life, and her body had become his most frequent and arousing fantasy. The fact that Rias usual slept naked next to him didn't help the half-demon control his teenage hormones, which were more stronger and intense due to being half-demon, and he was afraid that one day he would be pushed over the edge…

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Oi, you two! Get off each other and come and get your breakfast before it gets cold!" Kalawarner's voice shouted on the other side of the door before they could hear her walking away. Another thing that happens thanks to Rias' common presence at Devil May Cry... Raynare and Kalawarner tase the fuck out of Drake's feelings for the redhead.

"I hate those two at times." Drake muttered, running a hand down his face while Rias giggled in amusement. "They make my life a living hell with nearly getting me in debt earlier this month, stealing that last slice of pizza... and eating my strawberry sundae!"

"Oh no, the world is going to end." Rias said sarcastically but still with her amused and playful smile on her face. "Anyway, I'm going to jump in for a shower."

"Alright, but don't take too long or you'll miss breakfast." Drake said as he got out of the bed and made his way out of the bedroom, Rias watching him go before her gaze dropped and became sad and distressed.

Milk was poured into a bowl of cereal before coming to a halt.

"So Rias has been transparent and having nightmares for most of this month?" Kalawarner asks while setting down the milk jug, after Drake explained what's been going on with the mentioned girl to the two Fallen Angels.

"That's right." Drake continues while grabbing the carton of milk and pours it into a glass cup, with buttered bagels in front of him. "Whenever I asked her, she just brushes it off and goes to a different topic. At night, whatever it is, it's seems to be haunting her."

Raynare brings up a spoon full of cereal and eats the cereal in it. "Maybe it has something to do with her family."

He looks up at her confusingly. "Her family?"

"Yeah, her family?" She confirms the question and continues to eat as she talks. "The politics of Devil households are so tiresome and stressful. It might have something to do with that."

"Enough to make her have nightmares?" Drake raises a doubtful eyebrow at her.

"I don't know why you're complaining." Raynare said with a smirk"You two get to sleep in each other's arms." She then hugs herself and wiggles her body side to side, simulating her next words. "The warmth of your body meshed together with nothing but a tank top and boxes between you and her lustful body. The breasts of Rias against your chest and breathing her hot breath on your neck. Those long beautiful legs and arms around you, pulling you closer—"

"Okay! Okay! I get it!" Drake said with annoyance while Kalawarner laughed. "Honestly, you two tease me to hell about my feelings for Rias."

"Because it's hilarious and we're getting fed up with the sexual tenstion between you two." Raynare said with a huff.

Kalawarner nodded in agreement. "Yeah, so hurry up and fuck the tension out so everything can feel normal again."

"...I hate you. I really hate you." Drake groaned into his hand,

"No you don't." Kalawarner shot him a vixen-like grin.

Raynare shook her head in amusement before getting serious as she looked at Drake. "But in all seriousness, I say let her come to you when she's ready. I think that by continuing to comfort Rias in her time of need is all you can do. Also, by continuing to sleep with one another, you'll continue to gain her trust and she'll be really to tell the truth sooner."

Drake didn't really think about her idea, mainly because he was worried about helping Rias. He couldn't force her to tell him, but he couldn't let her continue to suffer like she was. 'Maybe she's right. There's nothing I can do now. I'll just wait and Rias will tell when she's ready.'

The Demon Hunter was taken out of his phones when hearing the phone ring in the shop below. "Looks like we got an early call." He said, quickly finishing his breakfast before making his way downstairs to the shop area of Devil May Cry, Raynare and Kalawarner watching him go before they sighed in sync.

"How is it that we've fell for the same man in just a month?" The blue-haired bombshell asked her raven-haired friend.

Raynare shrugged. "Just his personality and charm, I suppose."

That wasn't far off from the truth. Both ladies were indeed infatuated with Drake. When they were put under his custody, they did have their doubts at first. Sure they flirted and teased, made it come off that they were interested, but that was to mess with Drake. They may be Fallen Angels, known to be seductive, but they did that just o mess with people as they were quite beautiful and their looks always made people drop their guard around them. With Drake, it became a more playful thing in the month they've stayed with him.

It still shocks them to this day that the one who's custody they were under was the son of the Legendary Dark Knight, yet at the same time it also explains the intense demonic power they felt when they first met him, even if it was dormant at the time. They were distant at first, only exchanging a few words with Drake. But curiosity killed the cat if you might say. He'd treat them to some nice meals... well, if you can say that microwave food was nice, though getting pizza deliveries was nice, but never mind that. His politeness was almost one of a kind. Raynare had initially thought he was trying to get on their good side, but as time passes, she realizes it wasn't the case

Raynare had once threatened him but he shrugged it off like it was nothing. He didn't show fear or anger. He was just casual, often a joker, cocky at times, flamboyant. The more time she spent with him the more he began to rub off her. He was also protective, as they found out one day...

One day on a walk to the convenience store, they ran into an A-Rank Stray Devil that had lunged with Kalawarner as it's target. But Drake kicked it away, and took it down in less than a minute, taking it down like it was nothing. Drake took it down like it was nothing. When they asked why he did that, as he didn't owe them anything, Drake smirked at them and said...

"You're my partners. I look out for those I care about."

From that point, Raynare and Kalawarner will admit that's when their feelings for him begin to develop and grow. He was strong, smart, handsome. There was also when he asked them to apologise to the Devils and Asia for what happened at the Church, something which shocked them and they were against at first but he managed to convince them. Raynare had been worried about them going alone into the Devils' HQ, but Drake told them they wouldn't be alone. He would be there.

They'll admit, apologizing to the Devils certainly helped being in the same room as them from then on. Both had to get used to it and they did in a month, though Akeno would still send them a scathing glare and look of resentment for the first few days after the apology, which Drake never noticed but the Fallen Angels did. Because they knew who and what she was.

Raynare sighed. "Who would've thought we'd actually find someone to fall for and it's the same guy."

Kalawarner smiled. "I doubt he's like your past relationships with men, Ray. He knows what you are, and has he called you a monster and ran off? No."

Raynare smiled a little at her friend's words of comfort.

Drake, still dressed in his knee-length black shorts, walked over to his desk and jumped into the chair, slammed his foot down to send the phone flying through the air and into his hand before he answered. "Devil May Cry."

"I need your help." A female voice answered on the other end. Her tone was one of panic and a plea for help. Drake frowned and took his legs off the desk, now serious from the way this woman was talking.

"What's the problem?" He asked.

"You're the Demon Hunter, right? Who hunts demons, but also hunts other supernatural creatures as well?" The woman asked him.

"Only when they're out of control and needing to be put down. Demons are more of my forte, but I kill Stray Devils, Werewolves, Vampires, Trolls, you name it. What's the problem?" Drake asked, still frowning.

"There are several Oni in Kyoto wreaking havoc and... they've kidnapped my daughter! Please help! I'll reward you in any way possible!" The woman sobbed, sounding like she was trying to keep herself composed but her emotions were all over the place with the fact her daughter had been kidnapped by these Oni.

"Okay, okay, okay, calm down. I'll be in Kyoto today and deal with these creatures, and I'll find your daughter." Drake said, getting a grateful thank you from the woman before they ended the call there and Drake put the phone down. "Kyoto huh... never been there before, but I hear it's a wonderful place to be."

Drake arrived at Kyoto Train station via train, since driving in his van would've taken longer and he did not have the time to drive that long. The train was much faster, if he was honest, so that'll help when a job takes him far from Kuoh and somewhere else in Japan. He had also went and given himself a wardrobe change. He was now wearing a gray tank top, black fingerless gloves, black faded jeans and black military boots. Over the tanktop, he wore his long, hooded red coat.

Across his back was his electric guitar case containing Rebellion.

After getting the call from that woman, he informed Rias, Raynare and Kalawarner about the job and that he'd have to skip school today to go to Kyotot. Rias had said she'll speak with Sona, but she may get onto him about it. Drake just waved it off. Rias also told him to be careful as Kyotot was a hotspot for the Youkai Faction, and was home to the Youkai Faction leader herself, Yasaka her name was.

So, using his senses to try and locate the Oni, the son of Sparda continued striding until he was out of the train station, looking around with a small hum before continuing on his way. He closed his eyes, focusing on his senses as he searched for anything supernatural. It didn't take him long, actually. Zeroing in on what he sensed, Drake took off into a sprint for the location.

Thanks to his superhuman speed, though he made sure not to run too fast to make it obvious to humans, Drake arrived to see several red-skinned Oni destroying different areas around the place. The Oni had red skin, large tusks from their bottom set of teeth that jutted up, and had red horns sprouting from the top of their heads. They were a little smaller than the trolls that he had faced on his last mission, but looked more menacing. They wore what looked like loincloths and had a large clubs that looked more like baseball bats, which crushed everything they destroyed on impact.

Strangely enough, Drake saw them with a small blonde girl in their hands. Drake immediately wanted to rush in and help the girl, but several things stopped him. Namely the exotic features that the girl had. She was dressed in some kind of shrine maiden outfit. Along with that, she also had what looked like fox ears and nine bushy tails.

'Must be the kidnapped daughter... didn't know she was a Kitsune though.' Drake thought with surprise. If he remembered, nine-tailed foxes were known as Kyuubi, quite famous in Japanese culture.

Drake reached underneath the back of his coat, whistled loudly to get the attention of the Oni, before he whipped out Ebony & Ivory, then proceeded to open fire. while running, leaping through the air and spinning, shooting some down. He shot the one holding the Kitsune girl and grabbed her before she could hit the floor, flipped with a push of his hand on the ground and landed on his feet with the girl in one arm, Ebony in his other hand, firing it at the Oni.

The girl squeaked in surprise, which Drake found cute. He placed her on the ground near what looked to be an abandoned house. Before she could say anything, he pressed his metal hand to her mouth and brought his finger to his mouth, indicating for her to keep quiet. The girl looked scared, but she nodded in understanding.

Drake whirled around, bringing Ivory back out, and firing it along with Ebony. The Oni grunted or yelled out as they were shot and killed, blood splattering out of their wounds where the bullets struck. Drake ran, slid across the ground, still firing, and stood right back up. He ducked an attack from one of the Oni, jabbed his gun into it's face and shot it before whirling and shot another through the chest.

"Let me go!" He heard the girl shout and turned to see several more Oni had arrived, one grabbing the girl and running off with two others, while four more faced him. Drake rolled his neck and shoulders before holstering his guns, grabbed his guitar case and unzipped it before pulling Rebellion out. The Oni snarled and charged at him, with Drake doing the same. He swung Rebellion through the first, kicked the second in the face before ripping his sword out the first Oni and brought it down into the head of the second, then while the Oni was still impaled on the blade, Drake swung it around and smacked the other two Oni with their impaled friend, knocking them down.

Drake kicked the Oni off his sword and stabbed the third through the chest, ripped his blade out then twirled it before thrusting it backwards to kill the fourth one that had been trying to sneak up on him.

Looking in the direction the three Oni had taken the girl in, Drake sheathed Rebellion across his back and took off after them.

'I should listen to mother next time.' Kunou, the daughter of the Youkai Faction leader, Yasaka, which technically makes her the princess, thought to herself as she was being carried by the Oni towards a building which she recognized as the opera theatre. They were most likely trying to escape their pursuer, the boy in the red coat.

Kunou didn't know who he was, but she knew he wasn't human. Whatever his reason for being here, he had attempted to save her and protect her from the Oni, so he might not be all too bad.

"Let me go!" Kunou struggled in her captor's grasp as the Oni took her into the theatre room, heading towards the stage. They looked around, as if thinking their attacker will come out of the shadows or something, then looked down at the young Kitsune with a look of hunger in their eyes, causing Kunou to gulp and open her mouth to scream when suddenly...

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Multiple gunshots went off, striking the three Oni and killing them. Kunou blinked and uncovered her eyes to see the creatures dead before looking in the direction the gunshots came from, only to see the boy in the red coat coming with a hand in his pocket.

"Hey there." He greeted casually. "You're not into lame operas like this now, are you?"

"Well…. I…. Thank you…." Kunou stuttered, not knowing what to say.

"But… looks like we may have to wait for a touching finale." The boy interrupted. Kunou was confused by the statement, but heard snarls behind her. She turned around and saw two more of those Oni emerge from the shadows and leap toward her.

The boy jumped from the stairs and implanted his feet to the demons while airborne, kicking them back. The boy raised his right arm and shot directly upward, causing a large backdrop to fall. "Sorry honey, but this show isn't for kids." The boy said as the white backdrop fell in front of her and she could see black silhouettes of the man fighting the two Oni inside.

'Who is he?' Kunou wondered with her eyes wide with awe at how he was taking down the Oni.

Soon, the gunshots stopped and the backdrop was torn as the boy stepped through, adjusting his coat briefly before looking at her. "You alright, kid?"

She scowled at him. "My name is Kunou! Not kid!"

"Well excuse me!" The boy held his hands up in surrender. "I didn't know, so calling you kid was the more reasonable option... kid."

Okay, now he was just doing it on purpose. She glared at him as he smirked at her.

"Your name's Drake Redgrave?" Kunou asked as she and Drake walked out of the theatre.

"That's right. And I'm here to deal with these Oni after someone, most likely your mother, called my business and told me they had kidnapped you." Drake answered, coming to a stop and looking around. He could still sense something in the area, as well as smell it. "So, I did the first half of the mission by saving you, now I gotta deal with the rest of these jackasses."

"Mission?! Are you some kind of superhero?!" Kunou asked with stars in her eyes.

Drake chuckled and gave her an amused look. "Sure, you can call me that. I'm just a hunter who specialises in taking out rogue, Stray or evil supernatural creatures that are running amuck, causing destruction, killing innocents, so it's my job to come and put them down for their acts. Demons are namely my forte, but I sometimes extend that to the likes of Stray Devils, Fallen Angels, Werewolves, Vampires, even a Banshee once. Trying to take out a Banshee was a pain in my a-" He paused, remembering she was a kid, so he had to tweak his words. "Pain in my neck, I mean."

"Cool..." kunou said in awe, causing the son of Sparda to chuckle before he ruffled her hair playfully, getting her to pout. With her added fox features, she looked freaking adorable.

"Listen, Kunou. You go home to your mother. I'll locate the remaining Oni and deal with them."

"But will you be okay, Mr. Redgrave?" she questioned worriedly.

Drake smirked. "I'll be fine. This is what I do for a living. And just call me Drake, the 'Mr' makes me sound old and I'm not even in my twenties yet. Now go, quick!" Kunou nodded, running off home.

Drake started expanding his senses to locate where the Oni were. After a couple of minutes, he could feel a large mass of foul demonic energy. Guessing that was where the remaining Oni were, Drake quickly headed in that direction.

After roughly five minutes of running, Drake could see a clearing that had a magical barrier surrounding it. That surprised Drake. Since when could Oni be smart enough to summon a magical barrier? And how could he sense where the Oni were if there was supposed to be a barrier shielding them? Drake used his senses to confirm his suspicions, and he was proven right. It was the barrier that was emitting foul energy, not the Oni themselves. Drake guessed that because of the crude design of the barrier (something that even he could pick out) it automatically gave off a large demonic presence. Maybe the other Youkai were scared or uncomfortable with the large source of power and fled. Either way, Drake was still about to finish his job.

Summoning Yamato, Drake unsheathed the katana and rapidly slashed at the barrier with incredible, superhuman speed before he turned and held a pose as the barrier soon shattered behind him.

Seeing the Oni alarmed from his intrusion, Drake got ready to act. Some Oni went in front of the crowd of their brethren, and chanted something in warbles and grunts. Dark red bolts of energy erupted from their palms towards the Demon Hunter.

Drake dodged swiftly, then blitzed forward in a red blur, slashing Yamato rapidly through the Oni and taking out a group of them. He kicked another into the air and slashed the katana through it's waist before dropping down on another, which he stabbed in the head, then ripped Yamato out and tossed it like a boomerang, to which it sliced through several more Oni, before Drake caught the katana as it came back.

A few of them tried to crush him with their clubs, but he was moving too fast for them. He was here one second, then teleported to another bit, slashing an Oni apart with Yamato before moving onto the next.

"You shall die." Drake declared as he channeled power, everything shaking, then he vanished and there was the sound of several slashes and everything froze as if a DVD had been paused. Drake reappeared and slowly sheathed Yamato until the ... Clink!

The Oni then shattered into several pieces.

Standing up straight, Drake dispelled Yamato when his hearing picked up something... it sounded like someone muttering. Turning in the direction he could pinpoint it coming from, Drake walked in that direction, passing several rocks along the way, and he soon came upon a sight that was unexpected to him.

A human.

The human turned out to be a man, with long, string-like black hair that fell past his shoulders, with a long brown cloak. The man seemed to be muttering something. It sounded like a prayer, Drake concluded, using his advanced hearing.

Drake was about to say something to the man when he turned around. The man's face was pale and gaunt. Drake was about to ask if the man was okay when he took note of his eyes. His eyes were human, but full of hate, malice and insanity. Drake narrowed his eyes at this as he could smell something off with this guy. Whatever it was, he did not smell completely human, he smelled more demonic than human. Immediately he knew that he was in league with the Oni, or was in charge of them somehow.

"Well, seems like someone has been exterminating my pets," the man said in an oily voice. Drake thought that he was acting like a general cliché villain. And so far, he wasn't impressed.

"So your the one who's been causing trouble in Kyoto because of the Oni," Drake confirmed, already knowing he was behind it. "Gotta say you wasted your time since I easily took them out."

"Such bravado," the man clapped mockingly. "Youth. Something that kills so many people nowadays. You youngsters come in, claiming that you're so knowledgeable. So independent. So powerful. And yet, in the end, you fall short against those who are wise, with true power at their fingertips."

"Here we go, bad guy speech about power." Drake said, rolling his eyes, getting the man to growl. He sighed. "Look, I have a little girl to check up on, money to collect, and about a hundred other things that I'd rather be doing than be here. So let's just skip the whole trash talking part, and just fight." He whipped out Ebony and Ivory, firing.

The old man quickly muttered something, and a large red barrier appeared in front of him, negating the attack.

"Well, that's new," Drake muttered sarcastically.

The old man then chanted a small incantation. A black magic circle appeared under his feet. Slowly appearing from it was a grotesque-looking Oni that was even uglier than the normal one. This Oni had obsidian black skin, white hair and glowing red eyes that screamed of madness and bloodlust. The Super Oni, as Drake had taken to calling him, roared a blood-curling sound.

The man sneered in Drake's direction. "Now, boy. Witness the power of my Greater Oni! Fear its power!"

Drake just looked deadpanned at the name the old man had given his creature. "Really? Greater Oni? What a shitty title! Hell, Super Oni seems more fitting than what you call him!"

The man looked annoyed that he wasn't terrified of his creature. "You imbecile! A name hardly matters for my-"

"Don't care." Drake said before firing at the Super-Oni as it charged him, but it took the bullets like a champ and rammed it's head into the surprised Demon Hunter, knocking him off his feet and sending him rolling across the ground. "Okay... new plan." He stood up, holstered his guns and grabbed Rebellion. "Slice and dice."

He ran at the Super-Oni, leaped and yelled as he brought his foot down, intending to curb stomp the fucker into the ground, but the Super-Oni blocked with it's head, showing no signs of injury.

Drake looked impressed. He didn't think that that the Super Oni would be able to block his attack with his head, a feat that surprised and disturbed him. Maybe this one was dumber than his weaker brethren?

Those thoughts quickly vanished when the Super Oni grabbed his leg, trying to crush his ankle. Drake gritted his teeth and swung Rebellion, trying to slash the Super-Oni's face.

The old man cackled, like the clichéd villain that he was. "Do you see the error of your ways now, boy?! No one can stand up to the might of my Grea-"

A gunshot rang out, interrupting the man again. The bullet, fired from Ebony, sailed through the air towards the Super Oni's left eye, destroying it. The Super Oni roared in agony as it threw Drake away, and instead favouring the destroyed eye it now had. The destroyed eye socket leaked purple blood like a fountain.

Drake landed on his feet and holstered his gun, turning to regard the Super-Oni before he charged at it and leaped while it was still clutching it's eye, grappled onto it's head and then plunged Rebellion through it's other eye, driving it deep until the sword burst out the other end of the creature's face, going already through the destroyed eye socket that had been shot. The creature roared in pain before it fell to the ground and ceased moving as Drake ripped his sword out and jumped off the corpse.

"No!" the old man yelled. "My Greater Oni! You damn boy! How dare you?! How?! How can a mere boy like you defeat my pets?! How is there such a difference between us?!"

"You surrendered your humanity, it's that simple." Drake answered him slinging Rebellion over his back.

"But you are not human!" The man pointed out, able to sense the boy before him was demonic. "So why am I inferior?!"

"Hmm..." Drake cupped his chin. "You assume humans are weak. Okay, yeah, most of humankind aren't magical or possess powers gained from bloodlines or something like that, but they have something that proves they aren't as weak as most of the supernatural would assume."

"W-What? What is it? Please tell me!" The man begged, falling to his knees.

"If you're wanting to learn the answer in the next world..." Drake said before he whipped out Ivory and pointed it at the old man whose eyes widened. "Do your homework first."

BANG!

The old man flew back, blood coming out of the hole in his forehead, before he hit the ground and died with an exhale. Drake blew the smoke away from his gun and then twirled his gun before holstering it. He turned and walked out of the clearing he was in, wanting to check up on Kunou.

He walked out of the clearing and was about to jog to Kunou's location when he heard a formal voice. "Drake Redgrave?"

He turned to see who was calling his name. He saw a small group of armed - what looked to be - Tengu Youkai who were dressed in traditional clothes. He blinked, looking surprised. "Yeah, that's me. What do you want?" he asked, his head piece disappearing and leaving his face.

The lead Tengu, who looked to be the leader, answered. "Lady Yasaka wishes to meet with you If you will follow us."

"Yasaka... you mean the leader of the Youkai Faction?" Why would their leader want to meet with him over a simple extermination mission? Unless... "By any chance, is Kunou the daughter of Yasaka?" he asked.

"That is correct." The lead Tengu answered. Drake nodded. So, the lady who called him was none other than Yasaka herself. She must've noticed her daughter was kidnapped, the Oni causing problems in the city, and she couldn't be everywhere at once so she called an expert to help clean up the mess and also find and save her daughter.

Drake sighed, and then nodded. "Lead the way, then."

The group started to walk, Drake looking at all the resident Youkai as he walked alongside the leader and was lead through Kyoto's streets. It must have been an odd sight, a foreigner walking with what looked to be the royal guard to the household of the people's leader.

As they walked, Drake mentally went over what he should say to the leader. She may want to thank him for saving Kunou, which was good. He could gain a good relationship with the Youkai Faction as a whole, which would be beneficial. He didn't see any downsides to talking with Yasaka, but he was still entering unknown territory, so he had to be cautious.

The group entered a small alley, one of the other Tengu tapping various pieces of brick in a different formation. Suddenly, the bricks on the wall opened to show a sort of feudal Japanese town. It looked like it did in pictures or on the Internet. It looked beautiful.

The Tengu leader nodded when he saw Drake's appreciative look. "Yes, it is an amazing sight. Welcome to Inner Kyoto, home to us Youkai."

"It's amazing," Drake muttered. It looked like a normal feudal Japanese town, only this looked brand new. There were several waterfalls and lakes in the distance. Large crowds of Youkai were walking around, going to shops and selling goods, like ordinary people. Some younger Youkai were even playing several games, like tag, or hopscotch.

As Drake walked with the Tengu, there were a few wary glances sent his way from the adult Youkai. The kids, however, looked at him in awe as the saw his sword.

"I apologise for their behaviour," the leader said. "We don't usually get foreigners here often."

"It's okay," Drake said, shrugging. "I get that they're cautious of me. I can understand that. Doesn't help that they can smell the demon side of me."

The leader nodded in thanks. Drake looked up to see them walking to a large traditional-looking estate.

The Tengu stopped outside of the fence. The lead Tengu opened the gate for Drake who thanked him before the pair headed up the path, the door opening as Kunou poked her head out before a smile grew on her face as she rushed out as she called. "Drake, you did it!"

"Please, was there ever any doubt?" he asked playfully.

The young Kyuubi came to a stop before him as the lead tengu asked, "Is Lady Yasaka inside, Princess Kunou?"

"Yeah, Mifune!" Kunou said eagerly and led the way inside with Drake and Mifune following her. Drake let himself get pulled as the door opened to reveal a-

'DAMN! MILF ALERT!' Drake thought before mentally smacking himself, thinking Issei was rubbing off on him which wasn't good. But, at the sight of the woman standing in the open doorway, his first thought was well accurate if he was honest.

The woman, who he guessed was Yasaka given the traits she shared with Kunou, was a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure and very long blonde hair with matching eyes, dressed in a shrine maiden outfit with her Kyuubi features out much like Kunou. A kind smile lit up on her face.

"So this is the one who saved you, Kunou, the one I called." Yasaka said, analyzing Drake who resisted the urge to fidget. He didn't know if Yasaka was checking him out, or seeing if he had any hostile intent. "Please, come in."

The group moved inside and Yasaka gestured for thekm to sit with her at the low table before Yasaka spoke as she gave Drake a small bow.

"Kunou told me you protected her from some of the Oni and for that I thank you."

"No problem. It was my job, after all." Drake said with a small smirk. "I took out the source behind the Oni, so I doubt you'll be bothered again for a while."

"Then on behalf of the Youkai of Kyoto, I thank you." Yasaka said, placing her hand on top of his and Drake almost shuddered as he felt how warm and soft her hand was. "I knew I was making the right call when I called the infamous 'Devil May Cry'."

"Guess my business is becoming more known, huh?" Drake asked as Yasaka retracted her hand.

"Namely your exploits in dealing with rampaging monsters. Word spreads from the clients who call and hire you." Yasaka explained, getting a nod of understanding from Drake. That was one way to make his business more known, to the point even the leader of the Youkai Faction knows and hired him specifically herself. "And I can smell and sense that you are a demon. If you don't mind me asking..."

"My dad was a demon from the Demon World itself, my mother was human." Drake clarified, getting a nod from Yasaka. "And you are no doubt wondering about the large amount of demonic power flowing within me, aren't you?"

"It... is a concern, considering I've only met one demon who had such demonic power but he disappeared years ago." Yasaka said with narrowed eyes before she leaned forward and gave Drake an intense look that he nearly blushed at. It didn't help that Yasaka's breasts jiggled in her outfit with her movement. "Tell me, is Sparda your father?"

"Yes." Drake nodded, seeing no reason to lie about it.

Yasaka smiled softly. "Your father saved my people once and is highly respected amongst us. I see a lot of him within you. I was young in my reign as leader when I first saw and met him. He lives up to the legends."

"I'm sure he does." Drake chuckled before he grew somber. "Just a shame he died, as did my mother."

"I'm sorry." Yasaka said softly, getting a small smile from Drake. "Now, your reward. I am willing to pay you a great amount for saving my daughter and destroying the Oni."

"Thank you." Drake nodded.

"I only ask that you do visit us again." Yasaka said with a smile. "Whether it's on a job or just a visit. I'm sure Kunou would be sad to not see her saviour again after this meeting."

Drake looked at Kunou and chuckled at the look on her face. "Well, I can't say no to that face. So yeah, I'll be sure to return one day when I'm not too busy. After all, what guy wouldn't want to meet his newest fan and see a beautiful woman like you?" He gave her a wink, making the voluptuous Kitsune giggle with a faint blush.

"Oh you flatterer." She said with a wide smile.
