Once the girls were finished with their noodles and the movie, Kagura took the cups downstairs and the two played Pokemon for the rest of the evening. Kagura showed Sakaki around the overworld and her favorite places in the game, and Sakaki kept on petting and playing with all the cute Pokemon Kagura had. Eventually, it grew late, and the girls thought it best to go to sleep for the night. The girls took turns getting ready for bed in the bathroom, then Kagura turned off the lights and both got tucked in under the covers. After barely any time had passed, Kagura whispered "Are you up?"

"Yeah." Sakaki whispered back.

"Tonight was really fun." She told her friend. "We really need to do this more often."

"Mhm. I agree." Sakaki replied. Kagura laid on her back and stared up at the ceiling.

"It's weird thinking this is gonna be our last year all together." She remarked, reminiscing about the past year, and anxiously thinking about what awaited them. "I still can't believe school starts up again on Monday. These past two weeks just flew by."

"Mhm." Sakaki let out once more. She, herself, began to think about the good times that she and Kagura had together over the past year.

"I'm glad we became friends." She told Kagura. Kagura heart grew a little warmer upon hearing this.

"Me too, Sakaki." She said. The two girls laid in silence for a moment, Kagura staring up at the ceiling, Sakaki clutching her plush close to her. The cat lover was the first to break the silence.

"Earlier...when you showed me that game..." She began, anxious to ask her question.

"Hm? Yeah?" Kagura inquired.

"What did your mom mean when she said "wrestling"?"

Kagura grew embarrassed quite quickly.

"Oh, uh..." She began, trying to avoid the question. "It's a long story...I don't know if you'll wanna hear it."

"I don't mind." Sakaki said, still clutching her plush. Kagura sighed.

"Alright. Well, it's sort of like this...when I was in Middle School, I had this fried called Haruhi. We were best friends in our first year, we always hung out at school and had the same classes and stuff. Eventually, I asked my mom if she could come over for a sleepover, and after speaking to Haruhi's mom, she agreed to it. She came over to my place on Friday, after school, and we had to be in bed by 10 at the latest. We were up in my room, playing around, and we both had the idea to wrestle one another. So we were wrestling around together, having fun, and then she slammed me into my bed frame and made my head slam into it. She said sorry, and that it was an accident, and then she backed up and gave me some room. I got really mad, so I stood back up and grabbed her by the shoulders. I basically, kinda, sorta, kicked her legs and tripped her up...then slammed her right onto the floor. She started crying and I couldn't get her to stop, and eventually my mom heard and came running in. She told me to sit on my bed and not to move which she looked over her to make sure she was ok. My mom called Haruhi's mom, and she came and picked her up. I had to stay in my room the whole weekend and wasn't allowed any more sleepovers for the next year."

Sakaki listened closely to Kagura's explanation. She found herself quite saddened by it.

"Did you and Haruhi remain friends?" She eventually asked.

"No." Kagura said quietly, rolling over. "She stopped saying hi to me at school, and then stopped hanging out with me, and then found new friends. I didn't have any other friends the rest of the school year."

Kagura's voice began to break as she said this. She was strong enough to hold back her tears and to stifle them, but Sakaki could hear her true emotions coming through. A silence lingered over the pair for a long time.

"I'm thankful that we're friends." Sakaki said, breaking the silence that hung over them. "Thanks." Kagura said. She remembered Sakaki had said it earlier on, but it didn't make her feel much better. A part of her still missed Haruhi, and wished that they could still be friends. A small part of her ached to have just one more conversation with her, but she knew that one more conversation would never be enough. Her mind began to reminisce about their friendship, about how well they used to get along. To her, Kagura was a stranger, and the same to Kagura, except Kagura remembered the strangers name, and the strangers favorite color, and the strangers favorite movie, and song, and TV show, and animal, and every memory she and that stranger has together. The joy of knowing Haruhi had become the pain of remembering her. While Kagura remained stuck in her gloom, Sakaki tried to start another conversation.

"Your mom was really nice, tonight." She said honestly.

"She is pretty nice." Kagura agreed. "She embarrasses me sometimes, though."

Sakaki's heart broke a little hearing this. She wished her mother could embarrass her one more time. Kagura picked up that Sakaki was trying to start another conversation, so she thought of what to say next. "Do you want to see something?" She asked her tall friend. "Sure." Sakaki answered. Kagura reached her arm inside her pillowcase, and pulled out a small plush. "Do you remember Shaymin?" She asked, sitting up in her bed. "From the movie we just watched?"

Sakaki sat up and nodded. Kagura revealed a small Shaymin plush in her hand, and showed it to Sakaki. "My mom got me this plush for Christmas the year that movie came out. I remember I was so excited when I opened it up I didn't want to open any more presents up."

Sakaki softly smiled at this, while staring at the plush. "It looks cute." She commented. "Thank you." Kagura replied. "It's getting late, though. We should probably sleep."

Kagura tucked the plush under her pillow and the duo said goodnight to one another. Both fell asleep swiftly after, content that they got to spend the evening together.
