Robert was in his office, trying to get all the evidence he needed to help convict Valentin and Diane, the last thing he wanted was for either of them to walk and endanger his family once again. He heard a tapping on the door. "What is it?" He yelled.

Ethan walked in. "Good to see you too. Rough day?"

Robert looked up at his son and nodded. "You could say that. I'm trying to make sure Diane and Velentin get put away for a long time."

"Is there any doubt they will be?" The concern in Ethan's voice was very noticeable.

"Hey don't worry, I'm not going to let that happen. They are going to pay for everything." Robert tried to reassure his son, he didn't want him to think his old man didn't have this under control.

"I know you've got this." Ethan smiled at his father, he was happy that he was back in control of this town. It gave him a lot of faith that Diane wouldn't walk.

"Not that I am not happy to see you but why are you here?" Robert asked Ethan, wondering what brought on this surprise visit.

"I wanted to see if you wanted to go look at suits, I figured you hadn't picked a best man yet so as your son thought I would help out." Ethan told him.

Robert smiled brightly at his son. "I have picked a best man, that is if you want to be it."

Ethan was caught off guard but was very happy to be asked. "Oh come on wouldn't you rather ask Mac or Grant?" He asked him.

Robert shook his head. "Nope, they aren't right for the job. You however are just the man I need in my corner. What do you say?" He asked him.

Ethan gave him a nod. "You've got yourself a best man."

Robert got up and went over to give his son a hug. The two men embraced before Robert got his things together to leave. "Tell me, how are things going with Annie?"

Ethan wasn't quite sure how to respond, him and Annie were sorting things out and taking their time. "She's incredible but really guarded. I don't know how thing are going to turn out but Seana is lucky to have her as her mum."

"She's lucky to have you as her dad too. You know Annie has been through a lot, losing Sean really hurt her. The WSB becoming the bad guys did her no favors either. Don't give up on her." Robert advised Ethan. "Hey if I had just given up on your mum early in our marriage you and Jaynie wouldn't be here."

"I'm not giving up but I am following her lead. I know she was broken after she lost Sean, much like I was when I thought mum was gone." Ethan replied to Robert, he wanted things to work but knew it was best to be careful and to not push.

"That's pretty wise of you. She will come around or you two will just be wonderful co-parents to Seana." Robert smiled as he gave him a pat on the back. "You ready to go suit shopping?"

Ethan nodded. "Yes, let's go."

The two men left the office to go get their suits for the wedding. Robert was determined to make this day perfect for Holly.
