Favor
There are many things in life
On which we hate to impose
Maybe that happens more
On things that we suppose
Often we may help and give
Seldom do we like to take
Maybe that's a good thing
Perhaps it's really a mistake
There is a lot of give and take
Sometimes it's push and shove
As strange as it seems
Those are the ways of love
All we can really do
Is to try our best
To pass in life's test
We must disregard the rest
When someone shares
It's something to savor
It can become meaningless
If it was done as a favor
Nobody
