A.n I own Nothing.

Please Review.

A few days later, Alucard was in the library, he was floating in the air near one of the top shelves. His eyes scanned the pages of the book he was reading, every few minutes he would turn a page. He was about halfway through his current page when the castle let him know that someone had come through the protective shield that kept the ocean out.

Thinking nothing of it he continued to read. Until he heard something heavy smash into the ground with a loud Thud. Whatever had crashed was powerful enough to send vibrations through the castle and rattle the inside.

Alucard looked up and he glanced around the castle. Alert and waiting for any sign that the castle was in danger or under threat; when it didn't come he returned his focus to his book. But a second later he heard something that sounded like a large door being ripped off its hinges followed by some minor curse words.

Alucard let out a sigh, he put the book back on the shelf and floated back down to the ground. He left the Library and followed the noise, he came upon the top of the stairs and looked down the upon the open foyer to see the left front door ripped off its hinges and Superman trying to put it back in place.

"What are you doing?" Alucard asked with a slightly amused voice.

Superman whirled around and saw the vampire standing there.

"Oh, hey Alucard," Superman said awkwardly "Sorry about breaking your door,"

"Don't worry about it," Alucard responded. Waving him off.

"Uh…yeah," Superman responded. He backed away from the door and walked up the stairs towards Alucard. Once he reached the top, he accidentally brushed against a side table with a very nice white vase with red roses painted on it. The small touch was all that was needed, and the table broke apart and the vase fell to the floor.

Superman rushed to catch it and he did. However, the moment he put the tiniest amount of pressure to ensure that the vase would not fall out of his hands it shattered into thousands of pieces.

"Shit," he swore. Alucard raised an eyebrow, he had never heard Superman sewer before. The man of Steel looked up at Alucard again "Um…sorry, I hope it wasn't valuable or something,"

"That vase was over fifteen hundred years old and that table was from three centuries ago,"

Supermans's eyes widened and he looked down at the shattered vase and destroyed table. "Um….opps," he said.

Alucard raised his eyebrow at Superman and stared at him as if he noticed something out of place. Superman took a step back as Alucard got closer and then walked around him, circling the man of steel with his eyes scanning him critically. As if the vampire was looking at something that no one else could see.

"You are cursed…howe did you get cursed?" Alcaued asked.

"Nah, I'm just a little clumsy today. That's all," Superman assured and he put his hand against the wall. The wall gave way and he fell through it. Alucard raised an eyebrow.

"I'm okay," Superman's voice called out.

Alucard let out a sigh and walked over to the now Superman sized hole in his castle and helped the man of steel up.

"Superman you are cursed…tell me how this happened and is it affecting the rest of the Justice League?"

"Don't be ridicules, Curses don't exist," Superman claimed.

"Actually. they do,"

"Really?"

Alucard nodded slowly. Superman let out a sigh.

"Okay. We got a call a few days ago that there was a robbery in progress at the Museum of history in New York," Superman started "It's was nothing we couldn't handle…only…"

"Only?" Alucard asked.

"Well, we arrived everything was weird,"

"I don't understand,"

"The outside was fairly normal and the police had a parameter set up. They called us in to deal with the robbers but once we got inside…that's when things started to go wrong," Superman continued "Rooms were upside down, some of the exhibits had come to life and were fighting each other. The museum was trashed and on top of that there some strange energy coming from the back storage area,"

"I take it this is not a normal occurrence," Alucard assumed.

"Anyway the League made our way through the museum to the storage area and we found Tala there,"

"Who is this Tala?" Alucard asked. He didn't recognise the name.

"She a sorceress and not a very nice one at that," Superman claimed "We figured out she could use magic a bit too late,"

"Why did you not call me for help?" Alucard hissed "Magic is best counted with Magic,"

"We were going to. I was supposed to come and get you while the rest of the League distracted Tala. But the moment I tried to leave she trapped us. We were stuck in the backroom and couldn't leave,"

"how where you trapped? Was it a cage? Did the doors not open? Could you move…or were in a different dimension altogether?" Alucard asked. He needed to know how this other soccoerss had trapped the league, it would also give a good indication on her level of power and skill with magic.

"Um…I don't know. The walls, ceiling and floors were kind of giving off some purplish energy barrier like effect,"

"hmmm….likly a containment spell then," Alucard theorised "Simple, yet highly effective,"

"What was that you just said about being trapped in another dimension?" Superman asked with great concern "Was that a possibility?"

"It doesn't matter…proceed with your tale,"

"Right...anyway Tala left us little choice but to fight her, and I think we were able to get a few good hits in because whatever she was doing before we showed up was getting out of control and after a few minutes of fighting she got angry at us for interrupting her,"

Then what happened?"

"Well, …she started chanting something in a language that none of us understood and her eyes went a purple colour and she unleashed some energy that blew us all out of the building. When we got back up there was an impenetrable mist-like barrier around the museum," Superman explained "plus all the police and other authorities that had formed a perimeter had turned to stone,"

"Hmm…."

"And that's about the time things started to go wrong," Superman continued "I can't control my powers. My strength is out of control, everything I touch breaks, I can't maintain a flight without crashing into something. Every time I blink a different vision-based power activates. I'm lucky that no one has gotten seriously hurt yet,"

"Is it just you that has this….condition?" Alucard asked.

Superman shook his head.

"No the rest of the League was affected too, though to a different extent," Superman answered.

"How different,"

"Well…women seem to be disgusted by Batman,"

"Disgusted how?" Alucard asked.

"um, they recoil in disgust and tell him to get away from them. If he tries to get closer they runoff," Superman explained "Wonder Woman slapped him across the street when he tried to help her up,"

Alucard stared at Superman in surprise but didn't respond.

"As for Wonder Woman herself, she now has facial hair and a very deep voice, Flash is frozen in time and…"

"Wait…what was that about Flash?"

"He's frozen in time," Superman repeated "at least that's the conclusion we came too,"

"Why would you believe Flash is frozen in time?" Alucard asked "Did he do something to annoy Aeon?"

"Umm…I don't think so. It's just he hasn't moved since being blasted by whatever Tala did. He's still in the same position he landed in," Superman explained.

"I see…what about the others?"

"Hawk Girl can't talk anymore, Green Lantun…I'm not sure what's going on with him, he just seems very distracted and absent-minded and as for J'onn…well he's a puddle,"

"I'm sorry…I must have missed herd you," Alucard said, "I thought you just said that J'onn was a puddle,"

"He is, only with eyes and he blinks at you…it's kind of creepy," Superman stated "we put him in a jar to transport him back to the watchtower. Thankfully he's got telepathic abilities, so he can still communicate with us,"

Alucard nodded and tuned around "Follow me," he instructed and started to walk off. Superman followed and Alucard led him into the same sitting room that Superman and Aquaman had spoken to Alucard when they had first discovered the Vampire.

"Please…sit," Alucard offed and gestured to one of the single chairs. Superman moved passed Alucard and gently lowered himself into the chair. Thankfully the chair seemed to remain intact.

"Good. Now stay here and try not to break anything…while I go to the Watchtower and check to see if this curse has spread to the rest of the League," Alucard instructed.

"I thought you said it would be bad if we were in your castle alone," Superman argued.

"It is, however, I will not be gone long. Besides would you rather be in a magic castle where you can't hurt anyone or running rampant amongst the populace you protect,"

Superman immediately sat back down on the chair.

"That is what I thought, now sit tight and I will return shortly," Alucard claimed and he walked out of the room. Once he was gone the chair Superman was sitting in broke apart under him.

Watchtower, Earths Orbit

Alucard appeared in a pillar of black flames on the observation deck of the Watchtower. Once the flames had dissipated he made his way up to the monitor womb, hoping to find the rest of the Justice League there.

Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Hawkgirl, and Green Lantern were in the Monitor Womb. Flash appeared to be frozen in mid running stride, Green Lantern was excitedly trying to push all the buttons on the control console. Hawkgirl and Wonder Woman was trying to stop him, Hawkgirl looked the same as she always did but Wonder Woman had grown a thick black haired beard and was talking in a deep voice.

Alucard glanced around, he didn't see J'onn anywhere in the room. Batman was leaning against the wall by the door where Alucard walked in. Alucard took the in the scene before him and then glanced over at Batman.

"What are you doing up here?" Batman asked.

"Superman informed me of your…recnet battle. I came to confirm whether or not this curse extended to the rest of the league," Alucard then looked over at the other members of the Justice League. Green Lantern had suddenly lost interest in the buttons on the control panel and was now fixed on stars outside to the window. "Which it clearly has,"

"We're not cursed," Batman assured.

"You are, I can see it very clearly,"

Batman looked at him in concern "you can see curses?"

"Ah, not in the literal sense no. But I can feel the dark magic surrounding you…clining to your very existence and not letting go,"

Batman huffed in response.

"By the way…how did you get that?" Alucard asked and pointed to a rather large and Nasty bruise in the Dark Knights right cheek.

"Hawk Girl punched me when I got too close to her," Batman answered. Alucard was not sure how to react to that.

He wisely decided not to comment and looked around the Monitor Womb "Where is J'onn? I don't see him,"

"Over here," J'onns voice suddenly assaulted Alucards' mind. Batman gestured with a thumb to a pickle jar filled with a green gooish liquid sitting on a chair. Alucard made his way over to the jar and bent down to get a better look. Two red eyes stared back at him.

"Hello Alucard," J'onns voice filled the vampire's head.

"Hello J'onn, your looking…slim," Alucard trird.

"I am goo in a jar,"

"I can see that," Alucard responded. Doing his best not show that he found the prospect of talking goo funny.

Alucard straightened up and walked over to where Green Lanutn had his face pressed against the window and the two female superheroes were standing nearby. Hawkgirl was the first to notice him, but she said nothing as she looked over at Alucard.

"Alucard you're here," Wonder Woman said in relief, upon noticing the vampire. Her voice had changed to that of a man with a deep masculine tone to it. Her physic had also changed, instead of a slender yet strong powerful warrior. Wonder Woman's body was that of a very strong muscular man, her legs and arms were covered in thick black body hair and her heavenly armor looked like it bearly fit. As it was clearly made for a female warrior and not a male one.

Upon hearing this, green Launtun immediately abandoned his view of the stars and ran over to Alucard. Stopping only inches from the vampire.

"Hey, Alucard did you bring your sword? Can I see it? How do you keep your hair that silver clour? Is it your natural hair clour? If not what is? Can I wear your cape into the next battle?"

"Yes, No, it is a by-product of my weakened state, No, blond and No," Alucard responded calmly.

"Aww…" Green lantern moaned in disappointment. However he immediately forgot that disappointment when he spied J'onn in the jar "hey what's that,"

Alucard watched as Green lantern ran over and picked up the pickle jar and began to look at it with childlike curiosity.

"Lantern put J'onn down, we had a hard enough time getting him in there," Wonder Woman instructed as she ran after him. Hoping he would not drop and break the jar.

Alucard watched with a raised eyebrow and turned to face Hawkgirl.

"Superman tells me you can no longer speak," Alucard started. Hawkgirl didn't respond, she just sent a warning glare at Alucard. "Is it that you are no longer capable of speech or has dark magic affected your voice box in some way that you find embarrassing?"

Again he got no response from the Thanagarian.

"I assure you I am only trying to help," Alucard promised "I will not judge…but I must know how you were affected,"

Hawkgirl opened her mouth, however, instead of words a hawks cry came out. She shut her mouth again and glared at the vampire.

"Ah, duly noted," Alucard said. Hawkgirl glared at him and walked past him. Purpopsly shoving him with her shoulder. Alucard shook his head and wandered over to join the others. "Everyone please listen…you have all been cursed," he said.

"Cursed?" Wonder Woman asked.

"Yes, I suspect it was done by that witch you were fighting at the museum," Alucard responded "fortunately for you all I am quite well versed in casting curses and breaking them,"

"Are we going to die?" Green Lantern asked.

"No, contrary to popular belief…curses are not fatal," Alucard informed "They can cause accidents that could lead to death and ruin…but you can not curse someone to die,"

"But what about in stories when people have been cursed to die a painful death?" Batman asked from across the room.

Alucard turned to look at him.

"That is not cursing them to die, it is merely infusing how someone dies…it is as the wording states" he clarified "If you curse someone to die a painful death then the likelihood that they will die in a way that causes the victim great pain is increased. Rather then…say passing away in sleep,"

"Can you remove whatever was done to us?" J'onns voice his head.

"I should be able too…but I need to know the nature of the curse first," Alucard answered "But to do that we would all need to go to Castlevania,"

"Superman has the only charm and he hasn't returned from your castle yet," Wonder Woman pointed out "we can't go down there,"

"Actually…he doesn't," Alucard said. The league looked at him confused, Alucard had given Aquaman two charms. The King of Atlantis had passed one on to the Justice League to use while he kept the other.

Alucard reached into his pocket and pulled out a small ring box.

"I was planning on giving these to you all later…but given the circumstances, I can no longer wait," Alucard said and held the box out to the group.

Wonder Woman reached out and took the box, she opened it and inside was a

"Is this what I think it is?" she asked in her manly voice as she lifted out the pendant.

"It is a protection charm for my castle…the same one I gave to Aquaman," Alucard confirmed. He then pulled out three more boxes and handed on to Hawkgirl and Green Lantern. J'onn could not take him so Alucard opened the jar and dropped a pendant into the container for the martian.

"I thought you only had two of these," Green Lantern said as he put his on.

"I made more," Alucard shrugged "They will give you access to my castle and protect you from its dark powers. However, I still do not recommend you visit when I am not there…but the castle has other ways of dealing with uninvited guests,"

"How long have you had these?" J'onns voice filled Alucard's mind.

"I have been making them since we finalised our agreement. But they are extremely difficult to craft and take a very long time to create," Alucard claimed "The magic involved is…complicated,"

"I had always planned to give one to each member of the Justice League,"

While Wonder Woman struggled to get Green Lantern to wear his and not take it off. Hawk Girl walked over to Flash to put one around the speedsters beck; Alucard walked over to Batman and held the last box out for him. The dark knight looked down at it and then glared at Alcuaerd.

"I don't need it," Batman refused.

"You will," Alucard responded.

Batman didn't say anything else. He snatched the box out of Alucard's hand and took his pendant out.

"If you do not mind me asking…why are you so far away from the others?"

Once everyone had put the pendants on and Alucard was certain that they would protect J'onn, even as a puddle. Alucard muttered the magic words and a black ring of fire to take them to Castlevania.

It took two trips as Batman could not travel with the girls.

Once everyone was in the castle, Alucard led the League to where he had left Superman. Wonder Woman was carrying Flash over her shoulder and Batman had to remain several paces behind the rest of the group. When they arrived everyone, including Alucard, was surprised to see that most of the furniture was broken and Superman was being restrained in the air by a thick large dark tendril that was coming from the floor in the center of the room.

"What is going on here?" Green Lantern asked "What is that thing? Why is it holding Superman? Can we see the ocean from the window? Why isn't this place completely flooded if it's underwater? Can I see your coffin?"

Alucard ignored Green Lantern, he raised an eyebrow and looked around the destroyed room. Taking in all the damage. "It appears Superman has destroyed my sitting room," he responded calmly.

"Alucard, thank god," Superman said in relief upon noticing the vampires return "This thing just grew out of the floor,"

Alucard walked forward and approached the dark tendril. He looked at it critically, trying to determine what this tendril was. It looked like a larger and thicker form of the darkness that held the Ogers deep within Castlevainas depths. But Alucard didn't understand why it would be here, Superman was no threat to the Castlevania or Alucard, so the vampire had no idea why the castle would be lashing out at the last Kryptonian.

"Odd…this has never happened before," Alucard said.

"What? What is it?" Superman panicked.

Alucard sighed, he looked at Superman and pointed down towards the floor "Drop him," he commanded.

The tendril immediately let go and Superman fell to the floor, he landed with a grunt and the floor beneath him broke and craked under the Man of Steels fall. The Tendril lowered itself a bit so wit was eye level with Alucard. As if it was waiting for Alucard to change his mind.

"leave,"

The tendril sunk back into the floor, leaving a black sludge-like substance on the floor before it disappeared from sight.

"Thanks," Superman said as he picked himself up "What was that?"

"A defense mechanism,"

"Why would it come after me then?"

"I do not know. It could be the castle was…upset that you destroyed my sitting room,"

"I didn't mean to," Superman claimed "It just happened. How did your castle attack me anyway?"

"My castle is alive and dangerous to…those not of the night," Alucard pointed out "I have already informed you of this,"

"Right, so…how are they here?" Superman asked as he turned his attention to the rest of the Justice League.

"Alucard made us each protective charms," Wonder Woman answered in her male voice.

"and apparently we're cursed," Batman grunted.

"I know, he told me," Superman confirmed. He then turned to look at Alucard "I just hope we don't die from it,"

"Your curses aren't that extreme," Alucard answered.

"I don't care how extreme you think this is. Just fix it," Batman demanded.

"First I need to know what kind of curse you are afflicted with," Alucard insisted "only then can I begin to break it,"

Alucard led the League through the Castle to and older Laboratory, this wasn't one of the ones his parents had used in they're combined pursuit of knowledge; Alucard wouldn't let the league in those labs. He never went in them either, this one for magical research. Dracula had often used it when experimenting with spells and other dark powers or artifacts. The room was warded and designed to keep any magical effects inside.

The Lab was fairly open with bookshelves lining the back wall and a long workbench with instruments and old research notes scatted about. There were also a lot of magical tools and one or two artifacts that had been left out.

An elaborate magic was drawn on the ground with various runes and different symbols around both in and out of it. There were 12 half burnt out candles placed at an equal distance around the outside of the circle.

"What's this place?" Green Lantern asked as he looked around curiously.

"A research laboratory," Alucard answered "I don't recommend touching anything,"

"Can we hurry this up, please," Wonder Woman asked "being so close to Batman is making Hawkg Girl want to punch him again,"

Hawk girl sqarked in agreement.

"As you wish, I will need all of you to stand in the circle," Alucard instructed and he waved his hand over the circle.

The League walked into the circle, Wonder Woman was carrying a still frozen flash and she set the speedster down.

"Should I place J'onn on the ground or just keep holding him?" Green lantern asked and held out the Jar of Martin goo.

"It should not matter…as long as he is in the circle," Alucard responded.

Green Lantern nodded and just held onto the jar. The only one who was not in the circle was Batman.

"I'll just stand out of the way," Batman said.

"No, you need to be in the circle too…I need to determine if you are all cursed with the same thing or not," Alucard responded.

Batman reluctantly stepped into the circle and both Wonder Woman and Hawk Girl immediately tried to get away from the Dark Knight.

"Remain in the circle," Alucard insisted. As he bent down on one knee and placed his hand on the circle, he uttered a few words and the circle suddenly glowed a pale green colour.

With the lit circle a pale lite cone of magical light emitted from the circle, the league watched in amazement as several different patterns and objects began to form and dance around the league. Moons, stars, symbols, and even small circler shapes formed. Green lantern reached out to touch them and his hand went through the magic. It gave him a slight tingly feeling.

The league watched in awe and after a minute, the shapes finally stopped and formed a pattern that floated in place; surrounding the Justice League. Alucard looked and observed the pattern that was surrounding the Justice League. A look of surprise mixed in with humor appeared on his face.

"Oh…oh my…this is…" Alucard started.

"What? What is it?" Green Lantern asked.

Alucard looked up and lifted his hands off the circle, the patterned shapes and glow faded instantly. He then stood up and looked directly at the League. "the good news is I have Identified the curse,"

"And the Bad news is…" Superman asked expectantly.

"You have been cursed with an Image Inverse," Alucard informed.

"An Image inverse…what's that supposed to mean?"

"An image inverse curse takes a very important aspect of a person. One thing that that person could not live without and well….inverts it," Alucard explained.

"I'm not following," J'onn said from his jar.

"Let me see…how to explain…" Alucard said thoughtfully.

"Hmm…lets say you Batman, were a king," Alucard started.

Suddenly the whole league looked at Flash, however, the scarlet speedster didn't say anything.

"Something wrong?" Alucard asked confused.

"No, it's just that Flash would say something like how we shouldn't give Batman an ego boost or something," Superman claimed.

"If Batman was a very charismatic king and he was cursed. That charisma could and would turn against him…making him a fool,"

"Wait, wait wait," Superman said, "You're saying this curse just reverses one part of ourselves?"

"That is a very accurate way to describe it," Alucard agreed.

"But how does make my powers go haywire,"

"I am not sure what you mean," Alucard responded "Hay and Wires have nothing to do with this,"

"It's just an expression and Superman, you're the strongest being on the planet, the only reason you don't break the planet apart or kill anyone every time you punch something or someone is your very precise control over your powers," Batman stated.

"Batman is correct, you have no control over your strength and powers…that control has it has been inverted," Alucard confirmed.

"Okay that explains J'onn and Green Lantern," Batman said.

"It does?" Superman asked.

"Think about it, Lanterns ring requires concentration. But he now has an extremely short attention span and J'onn can't maintain his molecular structure so he's a puddle," Batman pointed out.

"Oh, yeah that makes sense. But what about the others?"

"I think for Wonder Woman her pride as a powerful and inspirational female warrior has backfired…turning her into a male warrior,"

"That makes sense," Wonder Woman agreed in her deep male voice "This curse is very twisted,"

"Indeed, it is,"

"What about Flash and Batman?" J'onn's voice filled everyone's mind.

Alucard turned and looked at Flash thoughtfully. "I do not believe Flash has been frozen in time…more like his speed has been inverted. Instead of being super-fast, …he is now super slow," Alucard explained "As for Batman…I can't think of any reason that you would both physically and mentally be repulsive to women,"

Batman didn't respond or offer any theories on why this curse affected him the way it did. He had spent years building up his Bruce Wyne Playboy persona, it was his defence against suspicion of being Batman since it was no secret that Batman had shown up suspiciously the same time Bruce Wayne had returned from almost a decade abroad. He relied on the not very bright but highly charismatic spoiled rich kid that he pretend to be.

To have that turned on him that would not only jeopardize his work as Batman but also get Bruce Wyne into trouble as well.

Batman glanced at Superman, the Kryptonian was giving him a knowing look, but the man of steel didn't offer anything either.

"What about Hawk Girl?" Superman asked. Changing the subject "why would she be unable to talk?"

"Hawkgirl is brash, loud and outspoken, it' could be the curse has made her mute or there might be some other reason for it," Green Lantern suggested.

"You know if this were any other situation, I would find it funny and a bit Ironic," Superman said "But we still have a rouge sorceress to deal with. So, how do we break the curse?"

"A curse like is easy to break, you just bathe in some scented oils and purified salts," Alucard claimed.

"That's it? We just take a bath?" Batman asked in surprise. He thought there would be more to it than that.

"Yes, I will prepare a special formula. A few drops into a bath, with some purified salt and then you just scrub the curse off with a washcloth," Alucard instructed.

"Are the scented oils necessary?" Batman asked.

"Oh, they're not needed to break the curse. They just make you smell nice after bathing," Alucard smiled "frankly a few of you could use them,"

"This could be a problem, the watchtower only has showers," J'onn pointed out as his voice once again entered the Leagues' mind. "How will break the curse if we do not have a bath?"

"The castle has baths you can use," Alucard claimed "You are welcome to them,"

"Alucard no offense, but I'd rather bathe at home in hot water than whatever water you have here," Superman said "Let's get the oils and go to my Fortress of Solitude,"

"Dose your fortress even have hot water?" Batman challenged "or a tub?"

"No, but I have heat vision,"

"You mean the heat vision you can't control?" Batman asked, "You want to use that in a fortress made out of Ice and crystals?"

"Well, we could always go to your place,"

"No,"

"Didn't think so," Superman smirked "looks like Ice Baths it is,"

Alucard tilted his head slightly "Why would you wish to bathe in ice when the castle has fresh hot water,"

"Really?" Batman asked sceptically "You have hot running water. In a 500yr old castle. At the bottom of the ocean?"

"I do," Alucard confirmed "I also have an open-air bath if you do not wish to use the large marble ones in the guest rooms,"

"I'm sorry I think my hearing is cursed too. Did you just say you had an open-air bath down here?" Green Lantern asked in surprise.

"I did,"

"And large marble tubs…with hot running water?"

"That is correct,"

"How?"

"How what?"

"How do you have all that?"

"Oh well the hot water runs through a series of pipes that gets pumped into a large chamber that boils the water before it gets sent back through the pipes and distributed around the castle," Alucard explained "I believe in your modern language it is referred to as plumbing,"

"Plumbing…you have actual plumbing?" Superman asked in disbelief "How the hell do you have plumbing in a 500yr old castle? How the hell do you even get Electricity in here?"

"What do you mean? All vampire keeps had some form of plumbing and advanced lighting systems," Alucard claimed "At least most of the Vampire Lords I knew did,"

"But…how? What about the lights? Where does the Electricity come from?" Batman asked.

"Oh that. The lights are powered by harnessing the sub electrons in the air and mixing it with the magical energy of the castle," Alucard explained.

"You use magic to create electricity?"

"Of course not, the castles own innate dark powers kind of…overcharges the electrons to create a bright glow," Alucard explained "My father showed me how it all worked once…it was fascinating,"

"I'll bet. Harnessing light from electrons flowing freely in the air, free and sustainable electricity with no negative side effects….hmm….could be something to look into," Batman thought.

"I can't believe this castle is so advanced," Green Lantern said in wonder.

"I can't believe that Vampires discovered plumbing and electricity before the rest of humanity," Superman said "Man all those movies I saw on vampires were way off,"

"Actually the ancient greeks Aqua duct system is considered the first plumbing system," Batman stated.

"That is true," Wonder Woman agreed "Though I did not realise that vampires used it too,"

"When you take into account that most vampires were humans first…it makes sense," Alucard pointed out "When a Vampire is turned, they retain all of our memories from when we were human,"

"Still to think you recorded it all. Not only did you preserve that knowledge but also use it…its amazing," Superman said.

"It wasn't me specifically. Most of what you see in this castle was considered magic by the time I was born…when the truth was just it was simply forgotten knowledge," Alucard explained "Although my father did like to expand on that knowledge…so no other keep is as grand as Casltevaina," Alucard said and he looked up at the castle roof "it is both magic and science incarnate,"

"This may sound like a dumb question, but why not just use magic to achieve the same results?" Green Lantern asked.

"The Magic required to keep this castle heated and keep the water warm would be too taxing…even to a pure-blooded vampire," Alucard shrugged "its easer and more efficient to use the plumbing system,"

After a few more questions about what other modern-day wonders Castlevania held, Alucard set to work in making the purified oils that would undo the curse. He did warn the League that they would need to use the purified oils in there daily bathing rituals for at least a week after the first to prevent the curse from retaking hold on them.

Once a fairly large amount had been created Alucard led the league to the bathing room. Since it would be easier and more efficient to remove the immediate and obvious effects Inverse Curse if all the League bathed at once.

The Bathroom was set up like a Roman-style Bathhouse. There were six very large pools across the room, on the walls were shelves with various bathing oils and shampoos. There were also several cabinets with glass doors that held towels on in them and at the back was a changing stall. There was a constant stream of mist in the air from the baths.

The floor was made up of marble tiles and the room had no ceiling. The League could see out and up into the clear blue sky above. There were vines and various hanging pot plants that had overgrown on the outer areas of the open roof.

Surprised, Superman walked over to the closest bath and he tested the water with his hand. The temperature was perfect. The League took a good long look around the room, none of them believing what they were seeing.

"So, we're still in your castle, right?" Superman asked Alucard.

Alucard nodded.

"Alucard, why did you not show me this while I was staying with you?" Wonder Woman asked in a deep tone. She could not deny she was more than a bit annoyed that Alucard had not brought her to this room when she had spent close to three months in Castlevania.

"You did not ask," Alucard shrugged.

"You didn't tell me this was here,"

"There are many places in the castle that I did not tell you about," Alucard responded cryptically "and I recall you being very content with the bathing area provided in the room that was provided for you,"

Wonder Woman huffed, she could not argue with that. The truth was she did was very happy with the lovely large room Alcuad had given her to stay in. The bath in that room had been exquisite and she had used it each day, other than the constant creepy feeling she got while in the staying in the castle she had no complaints.

Since the entire Justice League would be bathing in only one of the baths, there was a bit of concern about secret identities, however, Alucard assured the League that it did not matter if they were clothed or not, as long as the purified water and oil mixture made contact with their skin it would work…to a certain extent.

Alucard poured the mixture into the bath and used a little bit of magic to help mix it into the water. Once he was satisfied the League got in. Batman was surprisingly the first to enter the bath, even if he was fully clothed. In order to test if Alucards cure would work, he removed his utility belt and submerged himself completely under the water, and after a minute of being underwater Batman re-emerged and moved closer to the girls until he was right in front of them.

Nither of the Hawk Girl or Wonder Woman felt repulsed by his proximity. With this confirmation, the rest of the league quickly entered the bath. Alucard took J'onn's jar and using a goblet provided by the Castlevania, he dipped it into the bath and poured a small amount into the jar and swirled it around.

After a few swirls, J'onn started to solidify, so Alucard tipped the martian out of the jar, and J'onn quickly reformed into his true martin form. He gave Alucard a nod of thanks before he joined the rest of the league. Finally, Alucard dropped Flash into the open-air bath, the speedster landed with a large splash and sank to the bottom. A moment later the Flash broke the surface of the water gasping for air.

"What the…where?" Flash asked looking around wildly. He then noticed Alucard standing above him "Al…where am I? Why am I all wet?"

"Your not the only one," Batman spoke up.

Flash turned around and saw that the entire of the justice league was in the bath with him. Flash looked very confused. He then looked back at Alucard.

"Um does someone want to tell me why we're all bathing together?" he asked. Flash then noticed the ancient Rome style decor "In Roman baths. Did Aeon send us through time again?"
