A.n I own Nothing

The Justice League was fighting Luthor in the Metropolis Central Power Plant. They had got a call earlier that day, Luthor had escaped again and the League set out to find him. Unlike last time, however, the League did not ask J'onn to do a psychic sweep. This time Alucard volunteered to use track him down through the castle.

J'onn set up a Telepathic link with Alucard so that he could inform him of Luthors location the moment the spell was complete. It hadn't taken long for Alucard to find Luthor due to using the Mirror of Shadows, he'd found him and observed Superman's nemeses as he moved from one storge house to the next, picking up his armor and strange device before moving to the power plant. Once Luthor had settled and Alucard was sure he was not going anywhere, he informed J'onn of Luthors location before joining them himself.

Once the League arrived, they headed into the plant to confront Luthor. If Luthor was surprised that the League had found him so quickly, it didn't affect him in combat. During the fight, Alucard was blasted through a few pipes and into a support beam. He was an easy target for Luthor, the other League Members weaved and dodged Luthors energy blasts, Alucard didn't bother, knowing his vampire side would however he'd never been hit by the energy blasts from Luthors War-Suit. They knocked him around quite a bit, stunned, and slowed him down. Something which Luthor was very quick to take advantage of.

When the Flash got knocked down and trapped under a Heavy Concrete beam, Alucard went over and lifted it allowing Flash to continue fighting.

The way Luthor fought back was a little different this time. In his previous encounters with superman, he had been aiming to kill him. This time he was both stalling and trying to put as much distance between him and the League as possible; which was easier said than done. He dropped a portion of the ceiling on the League before flying off towards the basement.

Only Hawk Girl and Batman had not been caught in the attack so they chased after Luthor. Knowing that Green Lantern's ring would protect the others and get them out of the rubble. They followed him into a small room that held various control panels and other containers. In the middle was some kind of circle weapon on a tripod. It had several cables hanging out of it and was likely charging up.

Luthor landed behind it and quickly began adjusting the weapon as Hawk Girl and Batman rounded the corner.

"What is that thing?" Hawk Girl asked.

"Breakable I hope," Batman responded and pulled out a Batarang.

As Batman and Hawkgirl charged in, Luthor pointed the weapon at them and it charged up. However, he didn't get a chance to fire it as a red blur rushed past them knocked Luthor away. The weapon was taken apart before Luthor hit the ground. Flash stopped and dropped the parts on the ground.

"Oops, looks like I broke your new toy," Flash smirked.

Luthor snarled and lunged at the speedster, however, Wonder Woman flew in and knocked back down with a powerful uppercut to his jaw. Superman, Green Lantern, J'onn, and Alucard all flew into the room. With the whole League in the room and his weapon destroyed, Luthor knew he was beaten and surrendered.

Wonder Woman used her Lasso of Truth to tie him up and Superman contacted the Police to pick Luthor up. They took Luthor back to the surface and set him down for the Police. While the League was waiting for the police, Flash, Green Lantern, and J'onn cleaned up the power plant and repaired what damage they could. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Hawk Girl, and Alucard kept an eye on Luthor and Batman disabled the suit.

Once the police arrived Wonder Woman took back her lasso and the League watched them take Luthor back to prison. Green Lantern, Flash, and J'onn re-joined the League as the police vehicles were driving away.

"So how long do you think till we have to deal with him again?" Green Lantern asked.

"Who knows, but he won't stay in prison long. He never dose," Superman answered "He'll probably be out in a few days or so,"

"Not with a broken leg he won't," Wonder Woman stated.

"Diana,"

"I was kidding," Wonder woman assured.

"Man Tracking down Luthor was way easier this time," Flash commented, once the villain had been taken away.

"Magic is extremely useful," Alucard agreed.

"Agreed, perhaps we should get Alucard to track all escapees using magic," Wonder Woman suggested.

"Just because you have it, doesn't mean you should rely on it," Batman stated "If you rely on one way too much, then when it doesn't work you won't know what to do,"

"Batman is right, tracking magic can be blocked with the right spell," Alucard explained "Besides I may not always be available to do it,"

Superman looked at Alucard. "You alright, you got blasted several times,"

"I am fine though…I have decided I do not like Technology," Alucard claimed.

"Luthors War suit packs a hefty punch, being powered by a mother box," Superman agreed.

"That and he modified it with kryptonite counter you," Batman added.

"Well, we saved the day and with minimal damage this time, I call that a win. So now that the Villain of the week is in custody who wants to out for Double Espresso Iced Mochas?" Flash asked.

Before anyone could answer, a few lightning bolts formed out of mid-air, sparks of electricity surged and a portal opened. The league stepped back and got ready to face whatever came through. But only a single figure stepped out of the portal; J'onns his eyes widened it was another Green Martin and he looked identical to J'onn.

"Who…. who are you?" J'onn asked.

"I'm you," the other Martien answered.

"How can this be?"

"I am from another version of this world,"

"Oh, like a parrel earth," Flash realised "kinda like the one with the Justice Guild,"

"Yes, however, my earth is very similar to your own," J'onn stated, he then looked directly at Flash "Though there are some minor differences,"

"Like what, are we all evil there?" Flash joked.

"No, we protect the earth and enforce its laws to keep the people safe," the other J'onn claimed.

"Why are you here?" Batman asked.

"To seek your aid, you see while our Earths are similar. Mine is more advanced in technology and…"

"And the robots have taken over and you need our help to bring down Skynet," Flash interrupted.

Superman and Green Lantern groaned Wonder Woman and Hawk Girl rolled their eyes. J'onn kept up his stoic demeanor and Alucard tried and failed to hide a soft chuckle.

Batman smacked him on the back of the head "Will you let him finish," He scolded.

"Right, sorry,"

"It's…fine. The reason I am here is that the barriers that keep our dimensions apart are breaking down. If nothing is done then the whole multiverse will be destroyed," the other J'onn explained "While my world seems to be the source of the destruction, we need help locating it, my Justice League is short-handed as we are busy keeping the populace safe and minimizing the damage,"

"So, you want us to look for the source of the destruction," Superman summarised.

"Our main priority is the safety of citizens of our earth, I am requesting that you help ensure their safety by assisting with rescue efforts while my League seeks out and deals with the source of the Destruction,"

"Divide and conquer," Superman said.

While the other J'onn was explaining things Batman moved over to his version of the Martien Manhunter.

"Have you read his mind yet?" he asked softly.

"Martians don't do that to each other," League J'onn answered.

"Can't or won't,"

"Both,"

Batman didn't respond, he glanced around, the story and plea for help seemed to have everyone else convinced to help. Batman knew that Superman would never turn away from anyone asking for help and neither would Green Lantern, Flash, and Wonder Woman. However, something about this situation didn't sit well with him. He felt like there was something more going on than this being a simple request for relief aid.

Batman looked over to Alucard, the vampire was paying attention to the other J'onn with a very focused expression. Batman wondered if Alucard suspected something or if he was merely trying to absorb as much information about the situation as possible.

"So now that you know the state of my world and what is at risk. Will you help us?" the other J'onn asked.

Superman opened his mouth to answer but Batman beat him to it.

"Give us a moment," he said and gestured for the League to move away so they could talk.

"What are you doing?" Superman asked "of course we're going to help them,"

"Something seems fishy about this whole situation," Batman informed "I don't think we should just go to another earth. I don't trust the messenger,"

"He's me," J'onn pointed out.

"Exactly,"

"You don't trust J'onn?" Wonder woman asked.

"Our J'onn yes, that one," Batman said and gestured over his shoulder "No,"

"But what if it's true, what if the Dimensional barriers are breaking down?" Green Lantern asked "that could destroy everything,"

"Have the Guardians informed you of such a disaster?" Batman challenged.

"Well…no but…it could be that the damage just hasn't reached our world yet," Green Lantern reasoned.

"Batman, if this is danger is real then we can't sit by and do nothing, I won't ignore a threat like this. None of us can," Wonder Woman insisted.

"And if it's not?"

"Then we come right back," Superman answered.

"If they even let us come back," Batman said seriously. It had seemed the League had already made up their mind. Batman looked over to Alucard. "Alucard, you can hear heat beats…was that other J'onn lying?"

"His heartbeat was only a little faster than our J'onns," Alucard answered. "But…increased heart rate is a normal side effect from traveling through a portal…it can put a strain on the body if you are not used to it,"

"There you see, you're just being overly paranoid again," Flash smiled.

"Alright, but I still think we should be cautious," Batman relented.

The League turned back to the other J'onn who was still waiting patiently and they approached him.

"Well, have you made a decision? Will you aid my world?" he asked.

"Of course, let's go," Superman answered.

"Thank you. You do not know what this means for me and my team,"

"Is this portal safe for humans?" Batman asked.

"It is safe for any race to use," the other J'onn answered "now come, time is of the essence,"

The other J'onn turned and walked through the portal, the rest of the league followed. The moment they stepped through it felt like they were being torn apart as their bodied lunged through the at high speeds. When they emerged on the other side, they were a little disoriented.

Batman could understand why the other J'onns heartbeat had been fast, that was a very uncomfortable experience and nothing at all like what Alucard used to transport people to and from his castle.

Once the league caught their breath they looked around. They were in a pure white room with no doors or windows. Superman turned to the other J'onn to ask how they got out but he caught the last part of the other Martien phasing through the walls before he and the Justice League were assaulted by a surge of electricity.

They cried out in pain as lightning bolts went through their bodies. The League was still disoriented from the dimensional travel and they fell to the ground one by one, with Batman being the first to fall unconscious; as he had no special powers to protect or resist the electrical shock.

Green Lantern fell next as he couldn't maintain any form of concentration, followed by Flash, Wonder Woman, and Superman. Alucard was on his knees, his vampire side keeping him up, Hawk Girl was on the ground and managed to activate her Mace, drawing the electrical current in. Allowing some reprieve, she staggered over to the wall of the container and hit it with her mace.

The first strike cracked the wall, the second put a massive Dent in it and the third broke through. Without wasting any time, she charged in only to be met by another Green Lantern who blasted her in the chest and back into the electrical cage. The blast and combined with being re-electrocuted away enough to take Hawk Girl down.

Green Lantern smirked, however his smirk faded as Alucard raced forward and his dark gloved hand grabbed Green Lanterns' face and slammed his head into the ground, with such force that it left several cracks. Alucard looked up at those who were in the area with anger taking in the fact that the near-identical copies of the heroes he knew were standing in front of him. The pain from the cage left his breath panting.

He was out of the cage and he was pissed. Alucard sped towards the group, intending to fight them to secure the Leagues freedom. However, his eyes widened as a familiar face stepped forward, a face he had not seen in over 500yrs.

"Belmont," Alucard gasped. Seeing his old travel companion again made him hesitate for just a split second. Trevor smirked and clicked a device he was holding. All of a sudden Alucard screamed in pain and fell to his knees as an extremely high-pitched sound assaulted his ears.

Covering his ears with his hands and scrunching up his face. He couldn't stand the loud noise that echoed through his head.

"STOPP!" He cried out "GODS STOPPP!"

"What's the matter bat boy?" he asked with a satisfied smile on his face "Can't handle a little high-pitched volume?"

Trevor's only response was Alucard falling to his side and curling in a fetal position, desperately trying to block out the noise. Trevor walked up to him, he reached into one of his pouches and pulled out two thin silver bracelets. He bent down and pried one of Alucard's Hands from his ears and snapped a silver bracelet on his wrist. He then did the same to the other wrist.

Once both of Alucard's writs had a silver bracelet on them, a thin wired thread emerged from them and wrapped around Alucard's body, completely restraining him and preventing him from moving. Alucard struggled as the wire cut into his skin and small streams of steam rose as its brunt him.

Alucard struggled against the bindings but it just made them tighter, combined with the high-pitched noise, it was torture for the vampire. Leaving him writhing in pain and struggling against the enchanted bindings.

"Struggle all you like Bat Boy, you'll just make them tighter," Trevor said coldly and he turned off the Sonic Device in his hand. Even though the source of the noise had gone the sensory overload was still having a very clear effect on Alucard as blood was seeping out of his ears. Trevor gestured to the rest of the Justice Lords and made a gesture to his ears.

The rest of the Lords nodded and pulled out sound cancellation earplugs.

"Well, that was easier than expected," Superman said with satisfaction.

"Told you they would fall for it," Batman claimed "you were to niece back then, buying every sob story that came your way,"

"So, who's this guy?" Green lantern asked, he had gotten up while Trevor was dealing with Alucard and he nudged the vampire with his foot. Alucard whimpered in pain from the contact.

"No clue," Superman responded, "anyone knows him?"

"I do," Trevor spoke up with malice in his voice "he's evil incarnate,"

"Really?"

"Yeah, if you have a Ball gag, I recommend putting it on him. Don't need his fangs biting anyone," Trevor advised.

"We'll get one," Batman agreed.

"If he's evil then I'll just deal with him the way we deal with all the villains," Superman claimed.

"That won't work, he's got some powerful regenerative abilities. Giving this guy a Lobotomy is a waste of time," Trevor claimed "You'll just piss him off,"

"Then what do you suggest?" Superman challenged.

"He won't escape the bindings. Not unless someone lets him out. Keep him rested and use the sonic device on him now and then and he won't be any trouble," Trevor assured.

"I don't get it; how did you know he would be with them?" Wonder woman asked "he wasn't on the video feed we watched nor did we see him on the monitors inside the electrical trap,"

"He was there, you lot just didn't see him," Trevor claimed.

"And you did?" Superman asked.

"No, I just happened to notice the signs," Trevor answered.

"Well, it doesn't matter," Superman shrugged "He's restrained now so we'll deal with him like the others. So, who is going over to the other earth to help establish a new world order?"

"I'm defiantly coming," Green Lantern responded.

"Me too," Hawk Girl spoke up.

"You will need my abilities to establish order," J'onn stated.

"No one is leaving me behind," Wonder Woman claimed.

"I'll stay here to keep things in order and watch this lot," Batman said "after all who better to keep them in custody than one who is prepared to take them down,"

"Good idea," Superman agreed. He then looked over at Trevor "Trevor, you coming?"

"Nah, I'll stay here and help Batman," Trevor responded casually "if you see any booze on the other side that doesn't exist here, bring me some back,"

Superman rolled his eyes in response.

"We should deal with this Justice League first," Batman advised "get them locked up before you go to another reality,"

It didn't take long to move the league to a new location, between Green Lanterns' ring and Superman's speed, the league was set up in small prison cells that were made to counter their powers and keep them restrained. Batman hooked them up to life support to monitor their heartbeats and other vitals. The only exception to this was Alucard and Hawk Girl.

After her stunt, Hawk Girl was left in critical condition and had to be moved to an advanced hospital for Meta Humans. Trevor decided to take Alucard to a separate location and keep him away from the others. Trevor claimed that it would give him and Batman some extra Leverage should the league escape, but the Justice Lords knew better. Trevor had a habit of making those he didn't like suffer.

The Justice Lords had seen what Trevor did to those who drew his wrath and it was never pretty. None of the Lords knew what Alucard had done to earn the pure hatred that could be seen in Trevor's eyes when he looked upon the captive vampire but they knew wouldn't stop him either. As long as Trevor didn't outright kill Alucard then there was no reason to interfere.

Once the League had been locked up, the Justice Lords entered Batman's portal and headed into the Justice Leagues' world.

Batman slowly returned to conciseness, his muscles ached and his head was spinning. Fortunately, he was able to push past his disorientation and focus. He looked around and found that he was in a cell, his wrists and Ankles were locked against a cold metal beam in an X position. Batman also noticed that he was hooked up to some kind of heart rate monitor. His cell wasn't barred, but a Transparent thick window with a few air holes in it.

Across from him, he could see Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern restrained in a similar way. Superman had a metal visor over his eyes and his cell emitted a bright red light on the inside. Batman assumed it was Red Sun Radiation to counter the man of Steels powers.

Wonder Woman was restrained using her own Lasso of Truth and Batman could tell she was not happy about it. Green Lantern was restrained in a similar way as Batman, except he had a small thin metal crown on his head and he was missing his ring.

"A mental inhibitor," Batman recognised.

He could hear Flash struggling from his right and he suspected J'onn would be on his left. He didn't need to see them know how they were restrained. Flash's restraints would likely have some kind of Friction absorbing material in them and J'onn would be restrained like Green Lantern; with another Mental inhibitor to prevent the Marten from using any telepathic or shape-changing abilities.

While he was looking around, Batman heard footsteps approach and his counterpart of this reality entered his view. Justice lord Batman didn't acknowledge or speak to the League Batman. Instead, he checked some machinery.

"One question. Why?" Batman asked.

"Because you and your friends are too soft. None of you can do what needs to be done," Lord Batman answered and then moved on.

Lord Batman moved over to the next cell and stared at Flash with sorrow for a moment. Flash was struggling against his bindings trying to escape, but his speed was no help.

"Don't bother, there are mercury switches in those. If you move even a muscle, I will know," Lord Batman explained.

"Yeah well, you'll excuse me if I don't take your advice," Flash shot back.

"We're trying to help,"

"Tell that to Hawk Girl,"

"That was an accident and it was her fault for not lying down and submitting,"

"Whatever helps you sleep at night,"

"Believe me, the last thing any of my team wants is to…" Lord Batman tired but stopped mid-sentence.

"Is to what?" Flash demanded.

"Nothing…never mind," Lord Batman answered and looked down in sadness.

Flash studied the Justice Lord; he was curious as to why he would suddenly stop. He waited for Batman to finish what he was saying as it was unusual for the dark knight to stop mid-sentence. However, when Lord Batman didn't continue, flash tried a different approach.

"I don't see Al, where'd you take him?" Flash demanded.

"You mean the unknown? Trevor took him to a different location," Lord Batman claimed.

"Wait…Trevor? Who's Trevor?" Flash asked. Batman was about to answer but flash changed his mind "Ah doesn't matter why separate him from the rest of us? Did you nearly kill him too?"

"No, but you should be thankful that I am the one in charge of the rest of you," Lord Batman said seriously.

"What does that mean? What are you doing to Al?"

Batman didn't respond, he turned and was about to walk away when he stopped and looked back "You and your friends will appreciate what we're doing someday,"

"I highly doubt it," Flash shot back.

"I think he likes you," League Batman said from the next cell over.

"Lucky me," Flash pouted "you figured a way out of this yet?"

"No,"

"You mean not yet, right?"

"No. I mean I'm not going to,"

"Why not? You're the smart one. The guy with all the backup plans and

"Because there would be no point. Supermans trapped in red sun energy, Wonder Woman is restrained by her lasso, J'onn and Green Lantern have mental inhibitors on them and your cuffs are friction proof,"

"Okay…its freakily weird how you know what the other Batman is thinking," Flash claimed "I thought you didn't have powers,"

"I know it because they are my strategies, everything I can think of HE already has implemented," Batman explained "any escape plan I come up with, he already knows and has likely taken steps to counter my counters,"

"So, we're stuck?"

"Yes," Batman finished.

"Well, if you know everything evil Batman knows…then why are they doing this? How'd they turn evil?"

"I don't know, but if I had to guess I'd say it had something to do with you,"

"Me?"

"This worlds version of you,"

"Oh right," Flash said, he suddenly realised something "Hey where am I? I haven't seen my counterpart yet,"

"I think you're dead,"

"What makes you say that?"

"Because something had to have happened to change things, something big and so impactful that it made a team of the strongest beings on the planet goes bad," Batman claimed "and your nowhere to be seen,"

"Even if that's true, to go so far…even over me," Flash said sadly. He was honestly disappointed.

"It's not so different from what we'd do," Batman claimed "when you think about it,"

"I don't want to think about it," Flash answered. He looked up at his cuffed hands and tried once again to free them using his speed, but it didn't work. He let out a sigh and tried to come up with a plan.

Unknown location

Alucard winced and gave out a muffled moan in pain as he was thrown to the floor roughly. Everything hurt, his ears felt like they were about to explode, his body where the wired restraints were felt like they were burning, there was a horrible tasting gag in his mouth and he had no idea where he was. After the Justice Lords had Trevor had separated him from the League, taking him to another location.

How the human had dragged him behind him by his hair the whole way. The only time he hadn't been dragged was when he was in transport, but that had been equally unpleasant as Trevor had thrown him in a boot and locked him in with the sonic device turned on.

Alucard thought he was going to die and try as he might to cry out, the gag prevented that and he couldn't break the bindings. Trevor had been correct; the more he tried the tighter they became.

Given that Trevor had finally turned off the sonic device and thrown him to the ground he had to assume that they had reached the intended destination. Alucard's body sagged in relief for a moment. He needed time to heal, while his injuries from the bindings would have to wait, his main focus would be his ears as his over-sensitive hearing would undoubtedly be damaged, and to heal them properly, Alucard would need blood.

Alucard's relief was short-lived, he heard the sound of moving chains and felt Trevor attach something to the back of the bindings. A moment later and he heard a machine of some kind being activated and the next thing he knew he was being jerked and hoisted up and his feet could no longer touch the ground.

Alucard weakly opened his eyes to see that he was in some kind of dungeon, the walls were bear with no paint on them and there was only one exit. A heavy metal door, if it weren't for the bindings, he'd be able to escape no problem. However, Alucard doubted Trevor would let that happen.

He chanced a glance behind him and saw that he was now being held up by a chain that was attached to a motor and Trevor was behind him with a hanging remote, ensuring he would stay that way. Once Trevor was satisfied, he walked back over and around and stood in front of him. Alucard followed him with his head, noting that Trevor was pulling an overly large cross off his belt.

"So have a pleasant trip?" he asked.

Alucard sent him a glare.

"Yeah, me too, so you're probably wondering why how I'm alive. But I'm not going to tell you that. Instead, I am going to tell you is your situation," Trevor explained "First of all, the justice lords…they don't care what I do to you. They won't intervene and your friends aren't coming to save you either,"

He then stopped and realised what he said.

"Actually, I take that back, you don't have friends. Those other heroes are just tools that you're using because that is what you do isn't it. You use people," Trevor clarified and held up the heavy Cross "just like I'm going to use this little tool on you,"

He turned and walked towards the door and when he was close, he suddenly whirled around lashed out with the cross. A chain whip extended out of the top and a blunted heavy tip slammed into Alucard's chest. The second it hit him Alucard felt the full might of the Belmonts most sacred weapon.

Alucard let out a muffled scream as he was blown backward from the force of the impact on his chest. Unfortunately, he was still hanging so he swung back and forth as a result. His body was already struggling from the bindings and the

"Rember this, it's the Combat Cross or better known as the Vampire Killer. My family's secret and ultimate weapon," Trevor snarled "I know you can take more than a few hits from this

Alucard weakly looked at Trevor with confusion and pain in his eyes. As if he was trying to convey his need to know why Trevor was doing this.

Trevor saw the unspoken question.

"Because you killed Sypha," he answered. Alucard's eyes widened in disbelief. He'd killed Sypha, that was impossible. Sypha had survived, she'd gone off with Trevor and they'd got married "You killed her. It was your fucking family that started the war, she believed in the prophecy, she believed we would save the world…and you took her from it, you broke her in ways none of us thought possible.

"ITS YOUR FAULT SHE'S DEAD!"

Alucard's eyes widened in horror, there was no way he would have ever harmed Sypha. Even when she had held a fireball at his head and threatened to burn him alive when they'd met; he never wanted to harm her. Even in this twisted reality. He tried to process what Trevor was saying. Did this mean that his father tried to take exterminate humanity here too? From what Trevor was saying it sounded like the events that happened in the past happened on this earth as well. With one key difference, Sypha's death. In his world, Sypha had survived the fight with his father and lived, she'd married Trevor and they continued the Belmont line. If the Journals and Belmont records are to believed, Sypha and Trevor both died peacefully of old age. But that hadn't happened in his world.

Even if Sypha did die, it didn't explain how Trevor was still alive over 500yrs later.

"Now then you Fang faced bastard I'm going to make you pay for what you did to Sypha, it will be a thousand times worse than the fate you gave her," Trevor snarled "Unlike her, you're not going to die but you will wish I was nice enough to give you that luxury,"

He lashed out at Alucard again with the Combat Cross. "I'm going to test how far your vampire healing can go,"

Trevor got to work, he started by ripping away Alucard's shirt, cape, and coat. Due to the bindings, the cape and coat tore in half and only the top part was salvable. His white undershirt however was not. circling Alucard like a predator, striking out with his Vampire Killer without warning. He'd circle a few times as if trying to decide where would cause the most damage and pain. Trevor knew that Alucard wouldn't be able to handle more than five or six consecutive Lashes without a break and that worked out fine. After four lashes Trevor put his combat cross away, Alucard was in heavy pain and was painting heavily through his nose.

Trevor left the room and Alucard however the vampire's reprieve was short as Trevor came back with a bucket of water, with a sponge in it, a sling, and a while chair with a thermos and a red and blue superman memorabilia lunch box sitting on it.

Trevor removed the lunch box and thermos and pushed the chair over to Alucard, he placed the bucket of water down next to the vampire. Alucard watched him wearily, not sure what Trevor had planned. If that was holy or saltwater it wouldn't have any effect.

Trevor stood on the chair and took the sling, attaching it to part of the chain hanging above Alucard. Once it was secure Trevor got off the chair and reached down into the bucked and pulled out the sponge. Alucard released what Trevor had planned and immediately began to struggle. Stillwater wasn't a problem for Alucard…running water was.

"You really shouldn't do that, you're just going to make it worse," Trevor commented. As he put the wet sponge into the sling. With the material soaking wet, water began to drip down onto Alucards skin. He let out a muffled cry as the water dissolved his skin away. Trevor seemed satisfied and moved the chair around the front. He sat down and picked up his lunch box and thermos. Having a break while watching the water peel away Alucards skin. It was made worse because it was salt water and the salt remained making the parts that were stripped away burn for longer. A few drops even got under the bindings.

After 15 minutes of slow and agonizing torture, the water stopped dripping and much to Alucard's relief, Trevor did not re-wet the sponge. Instead, he moved the bucket to a corner before sitting down again and staring at Alucard intently.

After a minute he got up again.

"Welp break times over lets re-set," Trevor said. He walked over and moved the bucket to the corner of the room. "Don't want that to spill,"

Alucard looked at Trevor with horror.

"What you thought that was it? Not a chance batboy. I told you I will make you suffer and I will. You get a one-minute break after the water stops and that's only because Superman is insistent on keeping you alive,"

Trevor walked in front of Alucard and pulled out his Combat cross again. "Shall we,"

Trevor didn't wait for Alucard to respond before lashing out with his whip once more. He repeated the process over and over. First, the whip, then the water, wait for a minute or two for Alucard's body to heal before starting again. Alucard lost track of time on how long Trevor had been at it. But the hunter showed no signs of stopping. He left once or twice during the small-minute break to refill his thermos or get a different drink.

It was one of these times that Trevor changed tactics, he'd just declared the end of one of Alucard's breaks and the vampire braced for the whip again. But the weapon strike didn't come. He chanced a look at Trevor to see the hunter had gone back to his seat.

"This is boring," Trevor sighed "I thought torturing you would be fun but I'm bored. Hell, we've only been at it for about three hours and it's already lost its appeal,"

Alucard hadn't realised it had been so short of time, it felt longer to him.

"Aghh…you ruin everything you know. First the world then Sypha and now this," Trevor ranted. He remained quiet for a moment before he suddenly jumped up. "Oh, I know. We need to change up the routine a bit…maybe I should mess with your hearing again,"

Alucard violently shook his head. His ears still had not probably healed as a vampire's senses took longer to heal than anything else.

"Your right, been there done that," Trevor "How about when we get to the water I tip your head back, let it melt your eyes out. Yeah, we'll start with the right one and then the left and we'll rotate from there,"

Alucard immediately shut his eyes tightly.

"Oh, stop being a baby. Look if you didn't want to be tortured, you shouldn't have been an evil heartless prick, to begin with. If I'm being honest, you brought this whole situation on yourself," Trevor said. He looked up at the sling thoughtfully "it might take a couple of tries to get the water to drip into your eyes…oh well what's that old saying. If at first you don't succeed try again,"

Trevor pulled out his whip and he lunged back, ready to strike when there was a knock on the door. Trevor lowered his arm and stared at the door, he looked at Alucard and the vampire gave a light shrug.

Trevor approached the door, just as he was reaching out to grab the handle. The door was blown off its hinges and dust filled the room. Trevor was knocked on his back by the explosion and half a dozen armed soldiers ran in with pistols and semi-automatic guns drawn.

Trevor coughed and when the dust cleared a tall imposing figure walked in, they were wearing the same turtleneck and Balaklava face mask like the others. But the figure had a pistol in one hand and a badge with the Justice League Symbol on it with a red X painted over it. He stood in front of Trevor and looked down upon him.

"Hello Trevor, I believe you have been looking for me," the leader said. Their face was masked and they were using a voice box to mask their voice.

"Oh, you mother fu…" he didn't get to finish the sentence because he was shot in the head and slumped to the ground with lifeless eyes staring out into space.

Alucard's eyes flickered from the now-dead Trevor Belmont to the one who had shot him. HE was having very conflicting emotions about this. On one hand, he should be grateful for what he assumed was a convenient rescue. On the other, he had just witnessed someone kill his long-time friend.

"That never gets old," the leader said. He then looked up at Alucard "Take him," He ordered and turned around and walked out.

Alucard was lowered back onto the ground by the remote for the chains. His eyes never once left Trevor's body. The moment he touched the ground, one of the men shoved him onto his stomach while several others held him in place. Alucard suspected they were doing it out of caution, if these men were here to help him, he wouldn't put up a fight. Hell, if it got him out of the bindings co-operate with them, but with the bindings and the gag still in place, he could not tell them that. Instead, once it was on the ground Alucard felt something cold and meal being fastened around his neck. He heard a click and at that moment he felt his strength drain away.

Whatever pain that was being offset by his vampire healing increased rapidly. He winched as the pain was very quickly becoming unbearable. And being held down, which was applying pressure did not help. He felt something blunt hit him on the back of the head and darkness took him.
