Hey, this is my 3rd chapter in a month! I've really got my creative juices flowing again, haven't I? If you want to be technical then it's my 6th chapter since I've updated my other story 3 times as well. I'm really proud of myself!

ThunderClaw03 chapter 2. Feb 7

Great job keep it up. It is like things are beginning to look up for Ember, but what other changes have happened to her? Nobody should be ignored on their birthday it's extremely sad. Update when you can

Me: Yes, it does seem like that doesn't it? It's also always sad if someone is ignored on their birthday, it's just not right.

Please note that the same rules for me answering reviews is the same as my other story. I will not respond to the "Update soon" or the "Great chapter." Ones. I thank you for those reviews, they show me that you like the story.

I just prefer to answer the reviews that have questions or ideas and whatnot. So please do not feel discouraged by me not responding.

Ember was pacing her room in a panic. If her parents saw her like this there was no telling what they would do. Ember knew that it wouldn't be good, they might even kill her this time. She froze in the middle of the room when that thought invaded her brain.

She needed to leave. "Tilly!" There was a pop when a house-elf popped into the room. "How may Tilly help mistr-" Tilly gasped when seeing the changes that happened to Ember. "Mistress Ember what has happened to you?"

Ember shook her head fast. "I don't know what happened but what I do know is that my parents might kill me if they see me like this. I need to leave can you bring me a bottomless, lightweight bag that has a strong notice me not charm on it?"

Tilly nodded and popped away while Ember slowly calmed down at getting help.

Tilly came back half an hour later and handed the bag to Ember, "Tilly has packed all the bookies you hasn't read yet Mistress!" Ember stared at Tilly surprised before smiling. "Thank you Tilly, you're a good elf, can you pack everything in this room into my bag please? When I say that I don't mean the furniture."

Tilly nodded and with a snap of her fingers, everything that wasn't furniture that was in Embers' room was now in her bag. Everything besides the big book left on her Bed. Ember didn't have time to figure out how Tilly's magic didn't affect the book so she just scooped it up and put it in her bag herself.

"Can you pop me to Gringotts, please? I need to speak to them."

Taking Ember's hand the little elf did as asked and popped her into the lobby of Gringotts which was thankfully empty at the moment besides some goblins. "Thank you, Tilly. You can go but you're not allowed to tell anyone what I look like now." Tilly nodded before popping away, leaving Ember by herself.

Ember walked up to one of the counters and waited for a Goblin to acknowledge her. She stood there patiently for 45 minutes before the Goblin finally looked up annoyed. "Yes?"

Ember stood up straight, looking right at the goblin. She forgot about her new pupils while she had been looking so she was confused at the surprise that flashed across his face at first before she remembered.

"Yes, I'm Ember Potter and I need to access my trust vault-" "You do not look like the young miss Potter."

The Goblin was eyeing her suspiciously so she quickly asked if there was a way to prove she was Ember Potter. Silence stretched on for a couple of minutes before the Goblin turned, and barked out an order in another language that sent a younger-looking Goblin running over.

"Take this girl to the inheritance office for a full inheritance test!"

The younger Goblin turned and barked at her to follow him as he walked off. The Goblin led her down several halls until they reached a door that had a plaque on it that had the word Inheritance on it.

Ember glanced at the Goblin when he opened the doors and told her to go in. After walking a few feet in the room the door was slammed shut behind her, making her jump.

"Welcome human, you are here because you claim to be the Potters daughter. We shall do a small test to make sure you are indeed her, though we have doubts." The Goblin sitting behind the only desk in the room spoke as Ember walked closer.

There was something with the Goblins name on it on the dest, Grinlast.

"Use this knife to cut your hand and let your lifeblood flow into the goblet below. We will then see who you truly are." Grinlast handed Ember a knife. It looked like it was made out of the bone of some animal. It probably was, Ember realized before she used it to cut her hand before she clenched it over the goblet to let her blood spill into it.

Ember handed the knife back and watched as her hand healed. Grinlast gestured to a chair for Ember to sit down in while they waited. Grinlast started working on some paperwork that was on his desk while Ember just sat there in silence.

It wasn't long until the potion in the goblet was ready. Grinlast grabbed a special parchment and poured the potion onto it. The parchment absorbed the potion and within minutes words appeared on it.

Grinlast stared at the parchment shocked before silently handing it over and trying to plan out his net move. The Goblin race had been very rude to one of their richest customers awful. Hopefully, Lady Ember understood that they were only doing their jobs.

While Grinlast was thinking of ways to make this blunder up to Ember, She sat reading her test in shock.

How was she the heir to Ravenclaw, Emrys, Peverell, Black, and Slytherin? She would have thought her parents would have made sure that Damien was the hair to all of those.

Ember took a closer look and realized exactly how she got those titles. Sirius must not have realized that she was the heir of the black family because if he did he would switch it to Damien as fast as he could.

Ravenclaw was passed from Daughter to Daughter, which means that Damien could never become heir to the Ravenclaw family. Ember kind of doubted that her family even knew about Lily being a descendent of Ravenclaw anyways.

Ember had Peverell blood from her father's side of the family and apparently magic itself had decided that she was to be the head of the Peverell family. She wondered if she would be able to disown the Potters from the Peverell family?

Ember didn't know why she was the heir of Emrys, or as he was more commonly known as Merlin. It said that she was his champion and, chosen of magic but she didn't know what that meant.

Ember knew exactly why she had the Slytherin title considering she was the one to beat Voldemort. She couldn't wait to see the looks on her family's faces when they found that little tidbit out.

Ember froze when she saw a title she didn't see at first. She was a Princess or Queen? How, Why? She glanced down at the emerald that was sitting in her chest innocently and remembered the book that the lady in the library had given her. Ember vowed to read that book as soon as she could.

She then turned to look at her abilities, she was surprised that the potion couldn't pinpoint all of her abilities. Ember was pretty sure that wasn't supposed to happen.

The eidetic memory explained some things so did her being a Natural Occlumens. It explained how she was able to remember things so well and so far back.

Almost everything under her abilities was normal except for the Shapeshifting. Ember was excited to start learning about shapeshifting, it would probably be super helpful with trying to hide.

She glanced down and gasped in shock. A Power Suppression Potion? Her mother had been giving her that since that Halloween night. Why would she do this? Ember knew that they didn't love or even like her but she never thought that they would go this far to make her miserable.

Ember narrowed her eyes and looked up at Grinlast, "Sir, I need the use of a purging potion, my parents decided it was necessary to give me a Power Suppression potion. They have been giving me it since I was only 15 months old. I would also like to see if I can become the lady of my houses instead of just the heir."

Grinlast pushed a button and barked something in it before turning back to Ember. "Why would you, a child, want to take up the responsibility of those houses at your young age?"

"Why, to get away from my parents of course. They are awful humans and if they had seen me before I managed to sneak away they would have disowned me or killed me, perhaps even both."

"Surely that cannot be the truth?" Grinlast was shocked. If what Lady Ember was saying was true then she had a very valid reason to take up her ladyships.

"Sir, I can honestly say that if they had seen the way I look like now that there is no telling what awful things they would do to me."

Grinlast hummed while nodding, Taking the parchment that Ember handed over and did a double-take when seeing the first title Ember had. How did he not notice the title of Queen/Princess before? The Goblins had a royal family that ruled over the bank and underground dens of course but he had never interacted with the King or Prince.

Now he was interacting with a Princess that no one seemed to know existed. Grinlast was shaken from his thoughts when the door opened and a younger Goblin walked in holding a box of rings and a potion to get rid of the suppression one in the Princess's system.

Grinlast gestured for the younger Goblin to put the things on his desk and turned to Ember to explain. "My lady, in this box are your head of house rings. Just slip them onto your ring finger and they shall combine together. You will be able to change which ring you wish to have on your finger and if you wish to change to a different one all you need to do is will it."

Ember got up and walked over to the box, "And the Potion?"

"The Potion is to flush out the surpression one that is in your systom."

Ember nodded before she turned to look at the rings in the box.

There were several ring boxes inside, Ember reached out and grabbed one of them, and opened it.

Inside was a ring made out of what looked like white rose gold. It had a couple of Sappfires spread out on the band with words engraved into the band that read, "'immensum id thesaurus hominins" Ember wasn't sure what that meant but she decided to figure it out later. She figured out that this was the Ravenclaw ring before she put it on.

Grabbing a different Box she opened it to see another ring, this one had had a silver band with a black onyx stone with a weird engraving on it. It looked like the symbol from that old children's tale she had heard her dad read her brother a couple of times. This must be the Peverell family ring.

Once again she put the ring on and was a little interested when she was the two rings on her finger merged together. She wondered if that could be done with other things as well. Turning to the Box she pulled out another ring.

The last two rings were special, the first one had an amber-colored gem in the middle with 12 white diamonds spread out around it. Ember was able to feel a small amount of magic in the gem as she placed it on. This ring was clearly for the Emrys family.

The other ring was made out of white gold with several emeralds and even a green Diamond in the middle of it. Ember was impressed as she slipped it on. She left the Heir ring for the house of Black alone. Ember knew that if she accepted that ring then her family would be alerted to what she was doing.

Ember took the potion after she put on all the rings and grimaced when she finished, potions tasted so awful. One day, she was going to find some way to make them taste good.

"Sir, may I have a list of all my holdings for all my houses? I've recently found myself in need of a place to stay and I hope to find one in my holdings."

Grinlast nodded and once again pushed a button and barked out an order.

And that is it for this chapter. Please, tell me what you think and how you think I can improve the story. I might like one of the ideas enough to include it!
