This chapter contains death, it's not graphic but it does contain Ember killing someone.

There was only one review and it was just saying that chapter 5 was a great chapter. Thanks for liking that chapter!

Ember had got a small glamour necklace for Pearl so people wouldn't look at her weirdly for her green skin, green hair, or the Green Pearl stuck in her chest. Now they were going to the muggle world to look at the electronics stores. Ember wanted to get one of each kind of electronic so she could study them all.

Pearl was going to go with her to act as both her secretary, handling any paperwork that would be required for buying that much. She was also there to keep people from wondering why a kid was wandering around without her parents with her.

They made sure to go to different stores each time so no one wondered why they were buying so many different computers and whatnot. Ember was wondering if she could make a small version of these desktop computers, if she could she could maybe make a muggle safe version and sell them in the Muggle world too.

It wouldn't hurt to have money in both worlds after all.

Ember and Pearl also stopped by a muggle bookstore and practically bought out the entire store. They didn't buy every single book in the store, if they had done that then they would have so many copies of each book.

No, they just bought one of every single book before moving on to another book store to get any they didn't have. They did this for a few more hours before Ember dragged Pearl clothes shopping for Muggle clothes.

If Ember and Pearl spent time in the muggle world, they would need muggle clothes to help blend in better. Not to mention, Pearl only had one outfit and Ember wanted to spoil her creation a bit. She also picked Pearl up some nicknacks here and there that she hoped Pearl would like.

Ember had never had someone to care for before, now that she did she understood why some people considered love to be so powerful.

Ember was never letting anything happen to Pearl or to any other Gem she might create in the future. Her eyes started glowing as she thought of what she would do to someone who even tried to hurt her children-Wait children?

Ember paused and thought about it, Pearl was created by Ember. Ember had created Pearl with the purpose of bringing someone to life. She was taking care of Pearl and spoiling her a little. She loved Pearl and, Ember realized that she had been thinking of Pearl as her child subconsciously.

If this was an anime Ember would have a sweat drop as she realized that at 8-years old she was already a mom. Ember had a small internal panic because she was too young to be a mom, but also she so wanted more Gems around.

Shaking her head, Ember vowed to think on this later and walked off. She was looking for Pearl, they had got a little lost in the muggle world and got separated so Ember was trying her best to find Pearl before anything bad happened to her.

Suddenly she felt a pull and started running to where it was pulling her. Ember was frantic, something was wrong with Pearl. Ember ran into an alley and felt her blood freeze before it started to boil at what she saw.

Some men had cornered Pearl, sweet, innocent, sometimes naive Pearl. Her DAUGHTER that was only a month old. It was clear what they were trying to do and Ember would have none of it, with a snarl she followed her instincts and put her hand on the Diamond in her chest. Using a bit of power she summoned a sword, it had a small Green Diamond on it.

The hilt was green and the sword itself was curved up a little, it had an engraving on it that said, Green Diamond. Ember didn't pay any attention to the sword beyond noticing that she had one now.

Ember charged at the men with a battle cry and stabbed one right through their chest from the back. Slowly pulling the sword out she stepped back, letting the man she just stabbed fall to the ground. Looks like she managed to hit his heart, good. He deserved nothing less than death for even trying to harm her daughter.

Smirking darkly at the two men left she took a small step forward with a dark look in her eyes. "Step away from her if you know what's good for you."

One of the men, he had sandy blond hair, scoffed. "You might have killed Jered but that was because it was a surprise attack kid. Leave now this doesn't concern you."

The other man, a redhead, was looking at the Sandy-haired guy like he was crazy. "Dude, she just killed Jered and she doesn't look traumatized as a kid should! Are you seriously taunting her? I'm out!" The redhead ran out of the Alley like the dogs of hell were on his heels.

The last remaining guy growled and turned back to Ember, "Listen kid leave." Ember just stepped forward again, tilting her head. "I thought I told you to step away from my daughter."

The man raised an eyebrow, "What? You're daughter-kid you're like what 7? She's a fulle grown adult-" He was cut off by Ember stabbing him in the chest right away when he refused to step away from Pearl. "I warned you."

Pulling the sword out and letting it turn into energy she rushed over to Pearl. "Pearl are you okay? They didn't hurt you right? Come on lets get you home and taken care of, I'm so sorry this happened." Ember called Bippy and had him pop her and Pearl back to the trunk room that Pearl still used.

Ember had offered to let Pearl move into the Manor in a room close to hers but Pearl had politely declined, Responding that she liked the room she had now and didn't want to leave it.

Ember had understood and didn't push it, she was glad that Pearl liked the room she had been given. None of that mattered right now, right now she spent time reassuring Pearl that she was safe now.

Pearl had been shocked when her Diamond summoned a sword in defense of Pearl. She was honored that her Diamond cared for her enough to kill a human for her. It was clear to Pearl that her Diamond would never kill someone normally.

That she had killed for Pearl left her feeling awed. Then there was what she said to the last man she killed. I thought I told you to step away from my daughter. Did her Diamond truly see her as her own child?

She knew that for humans being a parent and having a child were big deals and she agreed. Pearl also knew that children were not supposed to be parents themselves, she had read several books on how children were made and she agreed with the laws restricting how old someone needed to be, to be involved in that sort of activity.

If Pearl thought about it though, her diamond was technically her parent. She just avoided all of that yucky stuff that went with making a baby. She had even been able to skip the diaper changes that Pearl had read about.

Pearl was honored that her Diamond thought of her this way, though she was still a little shaken and didn't leave her Diamonds side the rest of the day. She thought her Diamond would get annoyed with her, but no, she seemed like she didn't want Pearl to leave her side either.

After that horrible day Ember started training with her sword, she had got Gringotts to hire a tutor to teach her how to use her sword better. She also got a karate instructor for both her and Pearl, she wanted Pearl to be able to defend herself if something like this happened again and Ember wasn't around to protect her. Ember even made Bippy take these lessons and gave Bippy an order.

If Pearl left the manor, even if it was with Ember, then Bippy was to watch over her and intervene if Pearl was in danger. Bippy was to keep her safe.

When Ember wasn't training she was studying.

She managed to figure out how some of the devices worked and made magic versions that she could sell in her shop when she got everything ready. She had Bippy get more house-elves and before she set them to work she made all of them, including Bippy, get lessons on how to speak correctly.

Ember also made sure to make a set uniform for her elves, she made sure they understood that these were not clothes, they were a uniform she wanted them to wear. She did not want any of her elves to look like they were homeless. She wanted them to look proper.

The elves were confused but accepted that their new owner was different from other magicals.

It had now been several months since the incident and Ember made sure every elf she had taken the self-defense classes.

Ember herself managed to get herself a blue belt, she was almost ready to get a yellow belt. Pearl was an orange belt, mostly because she still had trouble accepting that it was okay for a Pearl to hurt someone trying to hurt them.

Ember was sure that with the right motivation Pearl would be able to defend herself properly.

Ember had managed to get several more things made for her shop. She had figured out how to make both the phones and computers smaller, they were now slim and able to be carried around when doing things. Ember was proud of how hard she worked and Grinlast had informed her that they had finally managed to buy most of the Daily Prophet.

He also said that there was an empty building in Daingon Alley that she could buy, it would need some work being fixed up but it was perfect for her future store plans. Grinlast had also mentioned there is a spot she could build a store out in Hogsmeade near Hogwarts. She would be able to sell things to the students during their Hogsmeade weekends.

Ember gave the go-ahead for them to buy the building and peace of land to create her stores. Right now she was working on figuring out a way to make her phones and what she was calling, laptops fully muggle. She wanted to be able to sell them in the muggle world after all.

Whenever Ember was done with making something the elves were the ones that created more of them for her store. She made sure to write down everything she did when making her creations.

Ember also made sure to make copies so if something happened to the originals the elves were using they had a second pair. Not to mention, Ember also used one of her notebooks to write down the notes in it as well.

She was being very careful with her notes. She did not want to risk losing them and forget how she made them. Ember knew that she would need to keep improving these things but she figured the magical world would be okay with the same devices for years if she didn't find a way to improve them right away.

Ember carefully sketched out a blueprint for the store in Hogsmeade, making sure to add a small clothing section for Pearl.

Turns out Pearl had a talent and eye for creating clothes so Ember decided to see if she could sell some of the clothes in the Hogsmeade branch of her store. If they were popular she could always create a couple more stores to sell the clothes in properly.

After all, wizarding fashion was very unpleasant.
