Hey everyone, guess who's back with another chapter! Sorry things have been hectic around here. Been babysitting a lot, doing lots of doctor appointments, making things, and recording videos. Just a lot I have to get done.
I do have a small announcement for those who read my other stories. I don't feel really inspired by the "Hogwards reads" or the "Gaming Villain" stories at the moment so those will be taking a longer break. I might come back to them but I'll probably try to rewrite the Gaming villain story since I basically rushed it in my insperation.

You have three people in Ollivander's shop, why not make an Unbreakable Vow? (I say because the 'so mote it be' is the most overused non-canon deus ex machina on Harry Potter fanfictions and often makes the story lack a lot of sense since with the 'so mote it be' thing the events from the original timeline like Pettigrew revealing the Potters would be absurd, just ask Pettigrew to never reveal the Potter's location 'so mote it be' before the Fidelius, or ask anyone to do the 'so says magic, so-mote-it-be' and now they may even be immune to the Imperious. Even on this altered timeline the 'so-mote-it-be' thing may ruin lots of plots, with everyone looking incompetent for not using it to ensure the truth or ensuring loyalty).
Me: Please keep in mind that Jasper doesn't have enough human magic in her to make an unbreakable vow. She might have Gem magic but she doesn't have Human magic. Also you're kind of assuming that the magical world has logic and sense. Also I don't think it can physically or magically alter someone, just make it so they can't do whatever it said they couldn't do unless they want to lose their life and magic.
In my worlds, it can't make someone immune to the imperious. If someone were to swear on their life and magic that they were now immune or something it wouldn't work, it would just make the vow take away this persons life and/or magic if they swore on both.

Ember walked into Ollivander's wand shop the next day with Pearl and Jasper, Pearl had wanted to come to see her hold her wand for the very first time. She didn't say anything yesterday since she was busy but Ember knew she would have been a bit upset if she had missed it luckily Ember had needed a custom wand so Pearl would get her wish of seeing Ember hold it for the first time.
Ollivander rushed the three of them to the back of the shop and held out a box. "This wand shows the peak of my career as a wand crafter, I spent all night working on getting the wand woods and cores to work well together. Give if a swish."
Ember slowly reached out and picked up the wand and gave it a tiny flick, her eyes widened when sparks flew out of the top and wind whirled throughout the back workspace, knocking things off their shelves and almost knocking Ollivander over onto the floor until it stopped.
"Marvelous, simply marvelous!" Ollivander cheered, "Now that will be One hundred and ten gallons please, another five for the wand hoster you asked for which will make it one hundred and fifteen gallons."
Ember handed over the money, put her wand hoster on after Ollivander was kind enough to show her how it worked and how she was supposed to wear it, and then went on her way to the bank. She wanted to retake her inheritance test since she remembered when she took it before it said that it couldn't log all of her abilities and to try again later. She hoped it had been long enough.
Walking into the bank she bowed to one of the tellers who took her to Grinlast's office. He already had everything all ready for her, having been alerted to what she wanted to do a few days ago. Ember put some blood in the potion that Grinlast then poured over a parchment and they just talked about random things until the parchment was finished.

Ember stared surprised, it looked like Pearl and her each had abilities the other didn't have. Maybe different gem types had different abilities? She smiled when realizing that magic saw her as Pearl's mom and gave her the ability to speak to snakes just like Ember.
Ember turned to look at Jaspers test when it was finished, curious about what this one would say.

Ember hummed and turned to Grinlast, "Can you make two copies of these?"
"We can, what do you with to be done with them?" Grinlast asked while waving his hand, magically making two copies of each test.
"I want one of Pearls tests to be placed in the Slytherin vault, one for you to keep in your files, charmed so only you, me or pearl herself may look at it and I shall take the original home with me."
"I want the same to be done for Jasper, except put the first test in the Ravenclaw vault and charm the one you put on your files to make it so only you, me, and her can see it."
"And what shall be done regaurding your tests?"
"I want to do the same thing only put the first in the Peverell vault, charm the second so only you and me can see it and I shall take the third one."
"It shall be done." Grinlast gathered up six of the nine parchment papers and let Ember take the other three with her, "Now before you leave, us here at Gringotts have a birthday present for you."
"You didn't need to get me anything Grinlast you know this."
"We are well aware of that Ember but we still wish to get our most prized clint a birthday present." He said while handing her a present.
"I shall open it when I return home and send a letter telling you how I like it." Ember said bowing, "I hope your blade drips with the blood of your enimes."
"And may your vaults overflow with gold from your investments," Grinlast said while bowing back, Ember then left with Pearl and Jasper and went back home and sat in the living room with them.
"Okay I think I need you two to explain what these gem abilites are, they aren't mentioned in the book at all."
Jasper and Pearl shared a surprised look before Pearl spoke up, "My diamond you truly don't know?"
"No I really don't, please explain what these are and what they do?"
Pearl nodded and started speaking, "Lets start from the top and then go down, we'll start with your test first My diamond. The first three abilities explain themselves, you have enhanced Strength, Speed, and Durability. You should be stronger, faster, and more durable than any human."
Jasper spoke up next, "The next one is also self-explanatory too, you'll stop aging when you reach twenty-two years old. I'm guessing that's cause gems don't age and normally have adult bodies but since you're half gem your body needs to grow up."
"That makes sense." Ember said nodding, "It's good to know I'm not going to stop aging when I'm a teen, I've heard that teen hormones suck, I don't want to be stuck as a teen for eternity!"
Pearl let out a small giggle, "No, I don't think you do My diamond."
"Anyways, Bubbling is something we do need to explain."
"Ah you're right Jasper, all gems have the ability to encase an object in a bubble, depending on the gem that does that the bubble will be a different color. If you or me were to bubble something it would probably be green, if Jasper were to bubble something however, it would most likely be orange like her gem."
"Don't forget to add the other parts, Pearl-" "I know Jasper I'm getting to it." Pearl puffed out her cheeks before smiling at Ember, "You can designate a place as home and if you tap a bubble with that place in mind it will be sent there. If you bubble a gem then it will be in stasis, it's a good way to keep a cracked gem in a safe place until a way can be found to fix them."
"Cracked?" Ember asked worriedly and Jasper soothed her, "Nothing to worry about for now, we'll explain it later okay my diamond?"
"Okay."
"What was next Jasper?" "Shapeshifting Pearl." "Oh, that one is easy to explain, it's kind of like the magicals metamorphmagus, only you can shapeshift into anything you want. Want to be a cat? You can shapeshift into a cat but still be able to speak english."
"You might be the color green when you shapeshift though, me and Pearl would be the color of our gems, we're not sure how it would work for you since you're part human."
Ember nodded, being a green cat sounded awesome.
"What about gravity shifting? Does that mean I can control gravity cause that would be so cool!" Pearl laughed and smiled fondly, "No no, nothing like that, it just means that our bodies will automatically adjust to different levels of gravity. Long ago Gems used to travel through space and different planets have different gravity, gems developed this ability to help with exploring."
Ember lit up, exploring space sounded wonderful, she just found out what she wanted to do when she was grown up.
"Now My diamond, you should know what weapon summoning is right? You remember summoning that sword out of your gem years ago?" She nodded in response, she remembered that, she also remembered summoning it again and again during her self-defense classes.
"Gem storage is exactly what it sounds like, we can store anything non-living we want regardless of size in our gems."
"Wait then why did I need to get a trunk-Never mind I just remembered I needed to upgrade my old one and I use it for more than just storage."
Jasper chuckled amused, "Exactly, while we can store stuff in our gems like our weapons and more we can't exactly use them as more than that unless you're a pearl."
"We'll explain that part later okay?" "Fine"
"Alright, Photokinesis, this is where we light up our gems and use them to help us see in dark places-" "Like a night light?" Ember sounded incredulous, she could use her gem as a freaking night light.
Pearl sighed while Jasper started laughing hard, "Yes like a night light my diamond, though a bit brighter than that."
"Aura Projection allows you to project an aura around your body that you can then control. You can either radiate it from your entire body or emit it from specific parts like your hands, fingers, or feet."
Okay, that sounded useful when it came to defending herself.
"We're going to explain what Psychic Resistance is real quick before going on to water walking."
"Why?" Ember asked confused.
"Because Psychic Resistance has to do with your Aura Projection, Psychic Resistance lets you use your Aura to shield yourself from telepathic abilities through the sheer intensity of thoughts, even without your own awareness. Although your mind can still be breached by a strong telepath so you should still work on your Occlumency."
Ember nodded showing she understood, if she mastered Occulmency then with this Psychic Resistance it would make it much harder for anyone to read her thoughts.
"Now onto Water-Walking, its what it sounds like, you can will yourself to walk on water, it will only happen when you want it to though so you can still go swimming."
"Now this also involves your Aura, it's Shapeshifting Manipulation, through the energy of your aura, you can manipulate the physical form of any gem, being able to Shrink them, Make them grow, distort them, or to repair their wounds if they haven't poofed yet."
Ember stared at Pearl shocked, just how strong was she, and how strong could she make this aura thing?
"We're not exactly sure what gemstone creation or Bubble shield are, we believe that the first refers to how you can create us and we guess the Bubble shield means you can summon a bubble as a shield."
"You really don't know for sure?" Ember was surprised, they told her they had knowledge of most things concerning gems but did none of the other gems of the past have these skills?
"No, we're sorry my diamond. We're also not sure how powerful your healing tears should be, no other diamond in the past ever had them."
"Well according to my memory there are rumors that the old pink diamond had healing tears."
"Yes but those were rumors, we have no clue if they were real or not and even if they were real there was nothing to say how strong they were."
Ember watched the two of them curious, she wondered what their special abilities were.

The gems in this story are based on the show Steven Universe and Steven Universe future. This means they have the same abilities that normal gems in that world would have along with the special abilities each gem type has.
Ember as a diamond has the abilities that the diamonds have shown in the show along with some of the abilities that Steven has shown like the Bubble Sheild.
Pearl has the abilities that the Pearl in the crystal gems group has and has shown and Jasper has the abilities that the Jasper in the show has shown. These are cannon abilities, I might add twists here and there but just because they have all these powers doesn't mean they are overpowered. I just wanted to clear that up.
I used the Steven Universe Fandom Wiki to look up each different gem ability along with the abilities all gems share, like enhancing condition, bubbling, and lighting their gems up like a night light.
