Sorry about the delay everyone. A lot has been going on for both me and my beta-reader. My D key has also started to refuse to work correctly most of the time. Makes it a bit hard to write when one of the keys you need doesn't want to work.

Anyways, onto reviews for the story.

Naiomi Gomintong chapter 21. Apr 27

The story is great with the new concept and crossover that I haven't thought would work well together. It's unique and fun to read, although it's just recently developed. I do have a few questions regarding Ember's abilities: First, I thought she was quite knowledgeable so why does she not know how to lock the train doors? I thought she had eidetic or good memory since she can remember her childhood vividly, why doesn't she notice what Lily's been doing or try to remember her class shed? And lastly, why did she make a pink bubble? I thought she was a green diamond and the gem's abilities show their own gem coloring. Although there are minimal grammar and spelling errors, it's still an amazing story. Thank you for a great story.

Me: I'm glad you enjoy my story, I just wanted to answer your questions right away instead of making you wait for a month for them to be answered in the story. (I will still do that though because they're good questions.)

First, Ember is quiet Knowledgeable, but she's still eleven years old. She was shocked, flustered, and upset when her brother and Ron barged in on her that she didn't even realize she knew how to lock the door.

Two, Lily was very careful not to be noticed by anyone, not even Ember. Because Lily was being watched by the house elves to make sure she wasn't being too kind to her daughter. She also didn't give Ember the power suppression potion directly, she had the elves put it in the food she ate.

Thirdly, The reason why the bubble was pink is because when gems bubble things in the show that's the color they are. I mean at least for the diamonds, look up bubbled gem room and there should be a room showing a bunch of bubbled rose quartz gems where the bubbles are pink. Since the diamonds did this after Pink Diamond was 'killed' I just figured the bubbling for them worked a bit differently. Either that or I'm remembering the show wrong.

Also I'm glad my few spelling and grammar mistakes don't ruin the story for you. I use Grammarly to write the chapters, read over the chapter, then I paste them into google docs for my beta reader to go over whenever she feels like and then I paste them back into Grammarly when she's done. Despite that some things slip through the cracks.

dragontuar chapter 21. Jun 2

Just caught up to here, been reading this for the last few days. Great story so far and can hardly wait for the next chapter. Would have been lovely to see her head of house reaction to the failed forced marriage contract as I believe he would lose his cool and be prepared to call upon the goblins to go to war for her sake as he is a half-goblin (dunno if you were aware of it or not)

Me: Sadly we don't get to see the small Professor flip out but we do get a nice show in this chapter. Thank you for letting me know he's a half-goblin, I was already aware of it but if I hadn't been then I would have preferred to know.

Onto the story.

Ember was in the common room at the crack of dawn. She didn't want to make Professor Flitwick wait for her. Instead, she came down with a book and read until he came in and got her. She went down at six am, and the professor came for her at nine am. She put her book away in her bag before standing up.

"Are you ready to go Ms Ravenclaw?" The Professor asked her.

"Yes Sir, I would prefer to get this over with as soon as possible. I do not wish to waste my Sunday in meetings." Ember made sure to keep her voice calm and polite. She did not want to show any rudeness to her favorite Professor.

"Okay, Ms Ravenclaw, I have already collected Ms Gem. She is waiting for us outside the door." Ember didn't show it, but the fact that Jasper was already here made her relax. She knew that Jasper wouldn't let anything harm her if she could help it. Be it physical or mental no one could hurt her as long as Jasper or Pearl were with her.

Ember made sure to hug her after walking out of the door. Jasper used the chance to whisper in her ear. "Don't worry, My diamond, me and Pearl got your letters and we are already working to take care of that man."

The group of three then walked to the Headmaster's office. It looked the same as last time. This time there was a woman that Ember recognized as Molly Weasley, the mother of Ronald Weasley. She had a smug look on her face, that fell when Jasper walked in with Ember and the Professor.

Ember spotted her Godfather, actual Father, the Headmaster, Snape, and Ronald Weasley. As she suspected, her mother wasn't in the little group. She didn't understand why Snape was here or what he had to do with this.

"Ah, Ms Potter-" The Headmaster started speaking only to be cut off harshly by Jasper.

"I believe we made it clear last time that you are to call her Ms Racenclaw. I understand that your memory might be going in your old age but please do try to remember from now on." Jasper said.

Ember had to duck her head and bite her lip to hold back the smile she wanted to let out. Dumbledore's face looked shocked that someone who wasn't part of the dark would say to his face that he was going senile. Perhaps Jasper didn't say it in as many words, but she sure implied it.

"How dare you speak to the Headmaster like that! Who do you think you are?" The Harpy named Molly Weasley shrieked, reminding Ember why she always left whenever someone disagreed with Molly.

Jasper turned her head to glare at the red-headed Harpy, "I am Jasper Gem, the magical and mundane guardian of Ember Ravenclaw. Who are you?"

Mrs. Weasley looked so offended that Jasper didn't realize who she was. Jasper knew good and well who she was. She just didn't want to give her the pleasure of knowing that.

"I am Molly Weasley, the future mother-in-law to the boy-who-lived how dare you talk to me that way."

Ember was surprised, it seems like James wrote up a marriage contract for Damien and Ginny yesterday while he was at the bank. She wondered if Lily knew about any of this. She was curious if Damien knew.

James took the chance to interrupt, "She's also going to be Ember's mother-in-law."

"Excuse me, what did you just say? Like hell she is." Jasper glared at James, who looked smug.

"There's already a marriage contract for her and Ron here, they'll be married in a month's time."

Ron's greedy sneer, Molly's smug smirk, and the fact that James was willing to marry off his eleven-year-old daughter for money were too much for Ember. She snapped, "Like hell, there is, the only way there could be a marriage contract was if I or Jasper signed it. I'm an adult in the eyes of the law, Jasper is my magical guardian only because I know how young I am."

"I'm sorry, my girl, but the contract is legally binding, if you do not follow through you will lose your magic." Dumbledore looked at her sadly, acting as if he wished this wasn't real. While on the inside, he was ecstatic that soon he would have his hands on the Ravenclaw family money and books. With all that knowledge, he would be able to get control of those who had too much power.

Ember just gave him a smirk that sent a chill down the spines of everyone in the room. "Unless they're my magical guardian then no it's not. Not even if the person is supposed to be a parent or godparent, if they are not the guardian of the person they are trying to marry off then the contract can not be enforced. The three of them should be lucky they didn't accidentally make a marriage contract for Ronald and Damien instead."

She looked around the room to see the reactions. Professor Flitwick looked proud of her, and so did Jasper. Dumbledore looked like someone had kicked his puppy, and James and Sirius looked like they were about to start screaming at any moment.

Ron didn't seem to understand what was going on. He only understood that he wouldn't be getting married to Ember, and become Lord Ravenclaw next month. Molly's face turned bright red before she could start shrieking at her though Snape piped up.

"Arrogant, just like your father. You dare deny your betters girl?" Jasper decided she wouldn't take the insult to her diamond lying down and decided to fight back. "Oh, don't you talk about arrogance! Ember wasn't the one who picks on eleven-year-olds who can't fight back. You're nothing more than a bully, you're not a teacher. I've already reported you to the governors. Just in case they don't do anything, I've also reported you to Madam Bones."

Ember savored the look of slight horror on Snape and Dumbledore's faces. At first, the two didn't look bothered, but after Jasper mentioned Amelia Bones that changed. They knew that while the governors could be bribed to ignore Snape's acts, Madam Bones could not. She was very by the books like that.

"My girl you wouldn't want to ruin a man's life for a simple misunderstanding now would you?" Dumbledore spoke, trying to convey disappointment that didn't fool Ember or Jasper for a second. They could both hear the underlying anger under the disappointed tone. If you weren't listening for it you wouldn't be able to hear the bit of anger in his voice that he tried to hide.

"This is more than a simple 'misunderstanding', this is a full-grown adult picking on children and ruining their love of potions." Jasper snapped back, putting a protective hand on Ember's shoulder. "This meeting is done, Ember will not be marrying anyone and that sorry excuse for a man is going to be investigated by Madam Bones." She then led Ember out of the room and down the hall.

Professor Flitwick didn't follow them. Instead, he shooed Ron out of the room before letting loose on the adult's left. He made it clear that if they tried this sort of thing again, he would strongly recommend to Ms. Ravenclaw that she look for a new school without an overcontrolling Headmaster or an abusive Potions Professor.

After saying his peace, he stormed out of the room, leaving behind five adults with their dreams of riches broken on the floor.

As soon as Flitwick left and he was sure the tiny professor wasn't eavesdropping James spun around to face Dumbledore. "What are we going to do now? You promised, you swore that this would work. You said that by next month we would have our hands on the Ravenclaw family fortune."

Albus sighed, took his glasses off, and stared at them, "My boy I do not know what went wrong."

"I do, it's that woman! That Jasper Gem person, who even is she?" Molly hissed, "Do any of us know her? NO!"

Sirius spoke, "Actually I do, she's a trainer in that new gym that opened up. It's not that popular but she can be seen in the Alley often."

James made a face, "A female trainer? Why not a man, Merlin she must be a laughing stock."

Sirius frowned, "Actually Prongs she's pretty good, she's even helped me once or twice when i went in."

"What? Padfoot you can't be trained by a girl!"

Sirius glared, he might not be the best person out there, but if there was one thing he wasn't, it was sexist. "Prongs are you serious? Women can be just as strong as a man, sometimes even stronger than them. I don't want to hear any more about this stupid 'you can't be trained by a girl' talk. It's sexist, what would Lily do if she heard you talk like that."

He quickly walked to the floo, but before he used it he gave James one last look of disgust, "Come talk to me when you get your head screwed on straight Prongs." Then he used the floor to get home, leaving behind his shocked best friend.

In the Ravenclaw Common Room.

Ember looked around the common room after she walked in. She spotted her two friends reading in the corner and walked over. "Hey." She said as she sat down.

Daphne's head shot up, "Ember you're back! What was the meeting about?"

"You don't have to tell us now though, you could tell us later," Tracy spoke up before Ember could speak. Ember appreciated that about Tracy. While Daphne was surprisingly good at knowing everything there was going on in the school, she had a bad habit of pushing for information. She did back off if someone said they didn't want to tell her.

Tracy, on the other hand, didn't care about rumors unless they affected her. She also made sure to let people know they didn't have to tell Daphne anything. She made sure to tell Daphne when she was pushing too much and when she needed to back off for a bit. Daphne and Tracy made a good team in that way.

"No, I can tell you now, you will not believe it." Ember didn't even believe it, and she lived through it. She couldn't believe, those people were willing to go that far for her money. She was so glad her other titles weren't public knowledge, or else they would try harder. There would be no safe place for her to relax.

"This morning Professor Flitwick took me to the Headmaster's office, you know that, but what you don't know is the reason. Turns out my godfather, Father, and Ronald Weasley's mother tried setting up a marriage contract between us!"

Ember was pleased to see the disgusted and horrified looks on her friend's faces. "Please tell me it didn't work." Daphne pleaded. She couldn't imagine her friend forced to marry the garbage disposal in human form.

"Luckily, no it didn't work." The two girls sighed in relief, and Ember continued. "The Headmaster tried to claim that it was legal though, he tried saying that if I didn't marry the boy by next month my magic would be stripped away leaving me as a muggle. Thankfully, I had my magical guardian there who tore a new one out of him."

"So it's not legal?" Tracy double-checked. "Nope, the only way it could be legal was if I or Jasper signed the contract. Neither of us has so it's not legally binding."

She smiled at her two friends as she stood up. "Okay, enough of that, who wants to go explore the castle some more?" She giggled when her friends cheered and jumped up, putting their books in their bags before following her out of the room.

Ember was so glad she had these two as friends. She couldn't imagine what life would have been like if she never shared the same boat as the two girls on their way to Hogwarts.
