Hey everyone, guess who's alive still! It's been crazy and I haven't had time or motivation to write but I'm still sticking with this story! Please forgive any spelling errors I don't really have a Beta reader right now anymore. Anyway, how about we get to the reviews?
Guest chapter 8 . Nov 11
I love Garnett.
Me: I love her too!
Guest chapter 5 . Nov 11
I thought it was Adriane Kenna Dive Potter?
Me: You're right, At the time I had forgotten what I made her middle name so I went back and checked but it seems I mistakenly switched it with the name I didn't want to use.
The Happy Dwagon of Fun Time chapter 12 . Jul 21
I love your story! I read it first about a year ago and thought 'now that's a unique and fun Idea' and coming back now after the updates since I still think so! Until next time!
Me: I'm glad you like it! I've really had a great time writing this story and it's reviews like this that make me so happy to be able to do something I love and make people happy.
Alright now onto the story!
The next day Adriane had woke up early so she could go train in the ROR but she just couldn't focus today for some reason, no matter what she did it seems like she kept getting lost in thought.
After a few more minutes of trying to work out, she decided that it couldn't hurt to take one day off. She started pacing around while thinking of what she would do about Voldemort, she knew, she had to stop him but she didn't know how!
How does one go about stopping someone who split their soul?
If only she had another one of his Horcruxes then she could get the goblins to track down the others and make him mortal. Adriane jumped when she heard something clang on the ground, causing her to spin around and stare in shock.
A small silver Diadem sat on the ground a few feet away from her, it had a blue oval gemstone in the center of it, there was just something wrong with it.
Adriane heard a soft wailing noise coming from the diadem, she knew that if anyone else were here that she would be the only one that could hear the noise, she also thought that she could hear a woman's voice saying 'Here she comes' over and over again but she couldn't be sure.
Adriane realized right away what this was, how could she not? It was one of Voldemort's Horcruxes! He hid one in the freaking school, right under Dumbledore's crooked nose. If she didn't know how bad this was she would be almost impressed but, as it was, she was horrified!
She quickly grabbed some parchment from her bag along with a quill before she got to work writing a letter for the Grinlast, letting him know what she had found and just where she had found it.
"Dobby?"
Pop "Yes Mistress Adriane?"
"Dobby, I need you to get this letter to Grinlast right away, It's very important that he reads this. It's an emergency."
Dobby took the letter and popped away without another word causing Adriane to sigh in relief before looking at the diadem with a glare.
She wished she had a way to safely transport it to Gringotts.
. . .
Adriane facepalmed when a bag popped in out of nowhere, right magic wish-granting room, how could she forget that? She used the levitation charm to levitate the diadem into the bag before closing it tight.
Adriane slowly relaxed as she felt the dark, evil energy disappear. It looked like the bag stopped the evil energy from the diadem from getting out, that was good, really good. It would make transporting the thing that much easier and not to mention safer.
She decided to just go take a walk around the lake so she hit the button on her watch to activate her glamour before walking out of the room. Adriane ignored the stares and whispers easily, she made sure it looked like she didn't care about them, which she really didn't.
Sitting down under a tree near the lake she leaned back against it and closed her eyes with a sigh, she silently wondered what would have happened if she never went to Gringotts or what would have happened if she had, had her key on her at the time?
After thinking about it for a few minutes she decided that it was no use wondering what would have happened, she liked the way things had turned out. She had found her true friends, she had found out she had family besides the Dursleys out there. She felt more alive than she ever had before, and, as she realized that she opened her eyes with a small smile, she felt happy, truly happy for the first time in ages.
Despite not liking being forced to be in the tournament it turned out to be the best thing that had ever happened to her, when she found out who entered her she would thank them before punching their lights out.
Hey, despite this turning out to be a good thing the person probably wanted her to die in this thing.
Adriane got up after a few hours of relaxing and went to go to bed, she had classes tomorrow, and while she could just skip since she already knew everything they would be teaching she didn't want to attract any more attention than necessary.
Time skip to potions class
Adriane was so bored, she already knew how to do this but she made sure she didn't show it. If she showed she was bored then she would have Snape jumping down her throat and she really wasn't in the mood to deal with him being more of a jerk than normal.
She just focussed on her potion when there was a knock on the classroom door and Colin poked his head in.
"What do you want boy?" Snape snapped at Colin causing them to take a small step back.
"I-I'm sorry sir, but the Headmaster asked me to come to collect Potter."
"Potter leave your stuff-"
"I'm sorry sir but the headmaster said it would take a while."
Snape scowled at Colin before snapping at Adriane. "Fine get your things and get out!"
'Gladly' Adriane thought as she grabbed her things and left with Colin. She mostly tuned out Colin's rambling about how cool it was that she was in the tournament as if he didn't realize how dangerous it was. People had died in competing in this thing and yet people didn't seem to care.
Adriane wasn't worried about herself, she knew she was strong enough to take on almost anything that the magical world could throw at her but on the other hand, she was worried about showing her true skills. She didn't want to expose herself before the end of the year, that would just end badly.
Anyway, pretty soon Colin and she reached a room that had the other three champions in it, along with the headmasters and one headmistress, Ludo bagman, a lady wearing a hideous green outfit with her blond hair curled up, and some glasses perched on the brim of her nose.
There was also someone with a camera and the wandmaker, Garrick Ollivander.
As soon as she walked in she was pounced on by Ludo. "Ah, Harry you've made it just in time, we were about to start."
"What is going on, Also it's Mister Potter to you sir."
Ludo laughed nervously "It's the wand weighing ceremony of course!"
Adriane raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms "Wand weighing?"
(1)"We have to check that your wands are fully functional, no problems, you know, as they're your most important tools in the tasks ahead!" Ludo looked way too happy for her to deal with so she just walked over to the other champions and leaned on the wall, ignoring their curious stares.
After a few moments of Ludo and the headmaster's and headmistress talking they walked over with the green lady, seriously Adriane liked the color green, it was a nice color, but this lady must have loved green.
"Everyone, gather around, this here is Rita Skeeter and she will be reporting on the tournament and will be doing a small piece on this event for the daily prophet."
"Maybe not that small of a piece Ludo." Here Rita eyed Adriane which made her feel like a piece of meat and she decided that she didn't like the feeling of this witch.
Rita turned to address all the champions now "Hello, I'm Rita Skeeter! I write for the Daily Prophet. But, of course, you know that, don't you? It's you we don't know. You're the juicy news. What quirks lurk beneath those rosy cheeks? What mysteries do the muscles mask? Does courage lie beneath those curls? In short, what makes a champion tick? Me, myself, and I want to know. Not to mention my avid readers." (2)
Adriane was already planning on suing the Daily Prophet for the slander they will most likely be printing about her if this is the reporter they sent to report on a high profile event like this.
_After the ceremony was over Adriane was ready to abandon her no killing unless it can't be avoided policy. Seriously this was not supposed to take so long and Adriane very much disliked Rita skeeter.
She had seen what that green quill of hers was writing and Adriane had said none of that it just wrote what it wanted, not to mention Rita kept getting her age wrong.
If people believed that she was 12 years old then Adriane was going to kill something, not really, she would never kill something if it wasn't in self-defense or defense of those she loved.
Anyway, as soon as that was done she tried to get away, putting on her invisibility cloak and walking down a hallway, she walked for a while until she heard a commotion and went to investigate.
When she got there she saw something that made her pissed, Fleur, one of her fellow champions was on the ground having just been smacked down. Above her stood Ron and some other student she didn't recognize.
Adriane yanked her cloak off and shoved it in her bag before stepping out from the hallway, luckily she was right behind the two boys so Fleur was the one to see her first.
At first, her eyes got sadder than before, thinking that "Harry" would join in with "his" friends but when she saw how angry "Harry" was hope filled her eyes.
Adriane gave Fleur a nod before glaring at the boys. "What the bloody hell do you two think you're doing?!" The boys jumped and turned around as they tensed, Ron, being the stupid Mo-Ron he is relaxed after seeing Adriane.
"Harry bout time you got here, we were just about to teach this french tart a lesson on playing with proper Wizards. You're joining us right?"
"Hell no I'm not going to join you, this is so wrong that I'm shocked that you thought, you two would get away with this!"
"Oh, come on Harry. You know you want to teach her a lesson too!"
"Fuck off Ron!" Adriane stormed over and shoved the two boys into a wall, sending a spell at them to force them to sleep before she cast a notice me not charm on them to keep them from being found right away.
She hesitated before sighing and casting another spell to keep them from telling anyone that it was Adriane or rather "Harry" who did this to them.
She turned to Fleur and gave her a small smile. "Come on let's go get you cleaned up, can you walk, or do you want me to carry you?"
"I do not think that you would be able to carry me, no offense but you do not seem to be that strong."
"Oh, I think I would surprise you with how strong I am."
"If you can carry me without dropping me then I will take back my comment about you not being that strong."
"You're on little missy."
Adriane chuckled and picked the french girl up, holding her with no trouble as she walked to the ROR with a slight smirk.
Fleur was surprised when the small fourteen-year-old picked her up like she weighed nothing, and while she would love to believe that it was because she didn't weigh much she knew that wasn't the truth. This scrawny fourteen-year-old was much stronger than he seemed.
She thought back on how she got to here, being carried to someplace by her hero.
Fleur had been walking down one of the many hallways in this school, honestly, it was like a maze. Why hadn't anyone given the visiting school maps? Did they do this with their first years too?
Anyway, as she said she was walking down a random hallway lost when she ran into those two boys, The redheaded one started drooling over her while the older one gave her a smirk and eyed her up and down. She recognized the two of them, they were two boys that asked her to that small village that the students go to once and a while, well one of them asked the other practically yelled at her and ran away.
They tried asking her to the village again but, once more she turned them both down, well they didn't like that, and sadly the older one managed to get a good hit on her, sending her flying back on the floor. Hurting her wrist and ankle, and as she looked up at the two boys, she felt fear their eyes held something that scared her.
Suddenly out of the corner of her eye she saw someone appear out of nowhere, it was Potter and, at first, she believed he was going to join his redheaded friend but, then she saw the anger in his eyes, the disgust towards the two in front of her.
Potter gave her a nod before he took care of the two boys and became her hero, who knows what would have happened if he had not been there? She would do anything to repay him, well almost anything, she would not betray her family for him after all.
Her family came first.
Adriane carried Fleur to the ROR and set her down on a couch, and took a look at her ankle, "It looks like it's just a sprain, try taking it easy for a few days, and it should be better soon unless you want to go see Madam Pomphry?"
Fleur thought for a second before shaking her head, "I will let it heal naturally, as you said it is just a sprain."
Adriane nodded and smiled at her, "It's up to you, are you hurt anywhere else?"
"My wrist is sprained too but, other than that I'm fine, you got there before anything bad could happen".
Adriane's smile left her, "I wish I could have got there before you got hurt at all."
Fleur shook her head, "Do not do that, you are blaming yourself, stop it, you did not know they would try this but, you still saved me, you are my hero thanks to this. . . And I apologize for how I have treated you since we met, I have been hm how do you say, a mega-bitch?"
Adriane laughed and shook her head, " You have nothing to be sorry for, I forgive you."
The rest of the night was spent by Fleur and Adriane talking and laughing, but, despite them getting along, Adriane never took off her glamour or told Fleur that she was a girl and not a boy, she wanted to know if she could trust her, and only, one day of talking and getting along did not mean she could.
When it started getting close to curfew, Adriane carried Fleur down to her schools' carriages and said goodnight before walking back into the school.
Hopefully, she found someone else that she was able to trust but she would wait and see.
1-2 I took these from the books so please note that I myself did not write them.
