Hey everyone I'm back, I'm sorry for the long break, I've been going through writer's block and needed to take a break from writing. But I've finally finished this chapter. I'll get into the reviews here real fast and then let you get to the story.

Guest chapter 25. Oct 21

I loved all the chapters so far and can't wait for more to come out soon, the 2 were blended so well with each other like symmetry made it really enjoyable. It's funny, has family love, and great fight scenes, I'm so excited!

Me: I'm glad you like my story so much, I've been having a blast writing it too. I hope you enjoy this chapter as much as the others.

skylorbaker14 chapter 25. Sep 17

I'm happy to see the chance for even a dream meeting of the other diamonds. Will you ever potentially do a dream or in-mind meeting with Steven or is it a very unlikely possibility?

Me: I'm sorry to say that it's very unlikely, Steven doesn't exist in this universe. This is a world where the gem empire died off, all gems were shattered and turned to dust over the years.

Onto the story

"Just who are you?" The yellow gem's eyes were narrowed and she looked hostile, how would Ember get out of this?

Ember stared up at the four giant women in front of her before waving.

"I'm Ember Ravenclaw, um though Pearl and Jasper keep calling me Green Diamond or their diamond."

The Blue gem gasped and knelt down to see Ember better, "A diamond?"

"Blue, you can not honestly believe this small organic creature that it's a diamond can you?" Yellow asked in disbelief, "They are smaller than even Pink!"

Ember felt her cheeks heat up, "Hey, I'm still growing thank you very much." She huffed as she crossed her arms.

White held a hand up to stop Yellow from frying the organic in front of them. "Perhaps, if you showed us your gem if you have one."

Ember hesitated before pulling her shirt down just enough for them to see the gem, when she heard the four of them gasp she put her shirt back into place.

Pink was shocked, the last diamond to ever be made had been her, she was no longer the youngest diamond. She paused, did this mean she was a big sister now? She might be dead but she could still help her new little sister in this white void place.

Blue was pleased, this new diamond seemed to be kind. That was something the older Diamonds other than Pink forgot to be, it was the lack of kindness that destroyed gem kind.

Yellow stared at the small organic diamond in disbelief, how could this be? How could an organic being become a diamond? This was not possible, and yet, the proof was standing right before her eyes.

White was intrigued, she was curious about this new diamond. She had never known that an organic, Gem, hybrid was possible. It was very interesting to her.

White looked at the small diamond and spoke, "So you are Green Diamond then? How old are you, Green?"

Ember blinked up at White for a few moments, realizing that they were just going to call her the color of her gem. "I'm eleven ma'am, I became a diamond a few years ago."

"Eleven?" White hissed out while Blue gasped and covered her mouth.

Pink looked shocked, "You're a baby!"

Ember looked at Pink offended, "I am not a baby, I have survived mostly on my own most of my life."

Blue spoke up, "What do you mean by that Green, I was under the impression that organic creatures had parents to raise them, how would you have been on your own?" Blue's voice was soft and motherly, kind of like Lily's had been earlier.

"Well, I might tell you when I learn to trust you. No offense meant but I literally just met you, I'm not going to explain my entire life story or why I was mostly alone after someone tried to kill me when I was fifteen months old." Ember quickly covered her mouth realizing she said more than she meant.

"WHAT? Someone tried to shatter you when you were still newly formed, how dare they." White snarled furiously, the other three weren't far behind in their anger. Even Pink was looking furious, in fact, she was getting so angry she started glowing pink.

Ember started at Pink Diamond before looking at Blue, "Um, is she supposed to glow like that?"

Blue glanced at Pink before grimacing, "I will take her away to calm her, she normally does not get this angry." Blue said while standing up. She put a hand on Pink's shoulder slowly before leading the smaller gem away.

Ember felt something pulling at her mind and realized she was about to wake up. "I'm about to wake up, if we see each other again then I might explain more. Just know I am alive and well." Ember managed to explain before the gems saw her poof out of the white void, they all tensed expecting a green gem to appear on the ground but relaxed when it seemed that the smallest gem had been teleported out and not poofed.

Ember woke up in the chair she kept in her potions room and yawned as she sat up. She couldn't believe what just happened, did she really meet the past diamonds or was that just one crazy dream?

She didn't know, she might not know until she meets them again, if she meets them again that is.

Standing up she walked over to the gem casing she had left on the table to cool and was pleasantly surprised to see it was already ready to be taken out.

She wondered how long she had been asleep for, it couldn't have been an entire day, Pearl or Jasper would have moved her to her bed instead of letting her get a crooked neck sleeping awkwardly in her chair.

Carefully, Ember took the gem out of the mold and set it on the table, to her surprise within seconds a person started to form. Looks like this kind of gem gained physical forms faster than the other two she's made.

When the gem was done forming Ember took a look at her.

Her hair went to her shoulders in waves, her hair was the color of purple lilacs and looked soft. Her skin was a darker purple with her eyes being a bright purple.

Her gem was located on her shoulder, a purple amethyst shining proudly under the lights of the potions room.

Amethyst was wearing a black tank top with ripped jeans and knee-high steal-toed boots, she had on black fingerless gloves.

Amethyst seemed to notice Ember and quickly did the diamond thing with her hands, the same thing that Pearl and Jasper used to do.

"Thank you for bringing me to life, My Diamond, how may I be of help?"

Ember winced, no matter how many times she did this, she doubted she would ever get used to a newborn gem's devotion to her. It felt wrong to her.

What no one realized is that this is why Ember was so different from the old diamonds. They felt it was their right to have their gems be devoted to them from creation, and if they ever started to question the diamond authority they would be shattered.

Even Pink thought her gems adoring her was her right, while she did not shatter gems that questioned her, she did give them warning looks making them shut up nervously.

Ember, on the other hand, believed that respect had to be earned. Just bringing someone to life wasn't enough to be respected, what they did after that would prove if they deserved respect or not.

It was normal for small children to love their parents, but even they do not worship them.

Ember gave Amethyst a small smile, "Please, call me Ember. You don't need to do that silly hand thing. I'll have Jasper and Pearl explain more later because I'm tired but for now just know that you are family, if you don't like something then tell me."

Ember stifled a yawn in her hand, "I'm sorry, but I actually made you because I need someone I trust to be able to watch over my mom, your grandmother if you think about it too hard. There are people out there who would love nothing more than to get to her to either hurt her or me."

Amethyst's face took on a look of determination, "My Diamond I swear to you I will not allow anyone to harm the grandest of mothers."

Ember had stifled a laugh in her hand this time, "That's not what grandmother means Amethyst, grandmother means that she's the mom of your mom, in this case me."

Just then there was a knock on the door, "My diamond it is past time for you to be in bed, are you alright?" Pearl's voice drifted in

"Come on in Pearl, I was about to head to bed, I was just explaining some things to Amethyst," Ember called out loud enough for Pearl to hear her on the other side of the door.

Pearl walked in and smiled when seeing the Gem, "My diamond you have out done yourself but come, it is time for little diamonds to be in bed. Just because you do not need as much sleep as a human does not mean you don't need any."

Ember nodded, clearly holding back another yawn. "You're right Pearl, Amethyst can you follow us and then listen to Pearl explain your duties and rules? After that you can do whatever, explore, talk to my mom, the other gems, anything really."

Pearl smiled amused at Amethyst's slightly overwhelmed face as the purple gem nodded. She remembered how she felt when she was first formed, it was strange for this small diamond to change the way she thought, to change what Pearl's role in her life was supposed to be.

Pearl was made because Ember was lonely, she made Pearl so someone other than a house-elf would be around to play and look after her. She might not have realized it herself but after a while Pearl had.

Pearl remembered when Jasper was made, she knew that Ember made Jasper because she wanted someone big and strong to be around to be able to defend their little family better than Ember could at that point in time.

Once again, Ember didn't realize it. Pearl and Jasper were made for Ember to have a family, she knew that part, what she didn't know was the other reasons she made them. This was because the thoughts were deep in her brain, subconscious thoughts that influenced which gem type she had made each time.

A Pearl made by a motherless child who wanted a mother figure, well Pearls could be very motherly without even knowing.

Jasper, to keep a family safe so it could grow. Jaspers used to be used in Gem armies, so it made sense for a Jasper to be a protector.

And now an Amethyst, Ember did even know that an Amethyst used to be used as guards back before the gems all died, and yet here she is, making an Amethyst to be her mother's bodyguard.

Pearl knew that she and Jasper should talk to their little Diamond about this, but that was for a later date. For now, she carried her diamond to bed and tucked her in before she took Amethyst to the room Jasper and Lily were in.

Lily, Pearl still had mixed feelings when she thought of her diamond's mother. She hated her for how she used to treat her diamond but then she heard the reasoning behind it and felt conflicted.

How was she supposed to hate the woman, when she herself had been trapped between a dragon and a hydra? No matter which she chose, something bad would be happening to her child. She couldn't even escape thanks to that stupid marriage contract.

The contract had been written in such a way that the only way Lily could have escaped would be her head of house declaring the marriage was not working out, or death.

Thankfully, Lily was no longer trapped thanks to the contract.

Pearl walked into the room with Amethyst, she noticed how Jasper looked at the purple gem before nodding, clearly deciding that she would do for Lily's bodyguard.

"Jasper, Lily, this is Amethyst, she's just been created," Pearl turned to look at Amethyst, "Amethyst, the human is Lily, she's who you're supposed to protect from now on."

Amethyst nodded and walked over to the only human in the room, bowing slightly, "It is a pleasure to meet you Grandmother, I am Amethyst."

Everyone stared at Amethyst surprised before the silence was interrupted by Jasper bursting out in laughter.

Amethyst looked around the room confused as the other two started giggling, she wondered what she had done that was so funny. Her diamond said that this human was technically her grandmother, whatever that meant, so should she not call her by her title?

Amethyst let out a little confused whine as the others continued laughing.
