Guess who's updated! Sorry, it's been so busy around here that I just forgot to upload this chapter, it's been half-finished for a while. I'm working on my new Chromebook my Grandma got me for Christmas since my charger port in my laptop finally stopped working. There's not much to do on it, I'm talking about things like minecraft and games like that. I'm just thankful I can still get online to talk to friends and listen to my creepypasta! Anyways on with the reviews.
ThunderClaw03 chapter 19. Oct 17
Great job keep it up. I wonder if she'll be meeting Kara as well? I wonder who going to be more shocked that there are more aliens on earth Lois or Superman? I wonder how hidden is the magical world in the USA?
I think the Namak saga would be a good place to introduce Adriane to the z fighters. Update when you can
Me: Yeah she'll be meeting Kara too, I think they could be good friends. And I think it's decently hidden, some magic users of the league probably know about it. Batman probably knows about it to, he would never leave a blind spot like that open. I also think sending her to namak would be a good idea.
kogentasprimo chapter 19. Oct 17
hm... if you've already decided on the middle dbz sagas and such, perhaps at the tail end of the Namek saga? the part where they are waiting for Goku to return from space... seems to be a good point to introduce them at. also, i know the straight-up mixing of dbz and dcu characters would be a bit hard to do but maybe some tech support mixing and such? looking forward to more chapters.
Me: Maybe but I think that her just showing up and waiting for Goku would cause some suspision. Because they were suspicious of Trunks in the show at first and he at least had a good reason to be there, Adriane would have no reason to be there. I do like the idea of mixing the tech in the shows.
Guest chapter 2 . Nov 6
What a shit load of story. One of those bloody pathetic stories with a female hero complex. Taking away fantasy and happiness from a much-loved character and story. There should be a bloody full stop somewhere fanfiction writers should be allowed to play with. Kindly write your own original stories in case you're so female hero complex or love turning a boy into a girl. Pathetic and disgusting and boring.
Me: Since you were cowardly enough to post this under guest and not with your own account I have decided to respond here. I'm just going to address a few things. Firstly you do not need to read this story if you do not like it. If you don't like it then you could have just stopped reading it and went to a different story to read. Secondly, this site is for fanfiction, if you do not like fanfiction stories or stories made by fans about characters they like then please do not get on sites that are basically ONLY fanfiction. Also, Harry Potter in the original stories has a hero complex so I don't see why you have a problem with them having one in this story. Another thing, it says right in the description of my story that this is a Fem Harry fanfiction. You saw that and still chose to read my story anyway. I'm not even going to mention how simple-mindedly that last bit of your review is. After reading this I was very confused.
Why would you be reading fanfiction if you don't like it. Why would you be on a site DEDICATED to fanfiction if you do not like it. Why would you read a fanfiction that CLEARLY has the warning in the description that this is a FEM HARRY STORY! I'm sorry but all this tells me is that you chose to do all of this, just to harass fanfiction writers like me and make them feel bad. I feel sorry for you because clearly, you have nothing better to do. I know that if this had been posted to my story when just starting out I would have been heartbroken and would have decided to stop writing this story. Luckily no one posted anything like this, instead they posted good reviews, they loved my story, they loved my characters and the way I wrote them. They inspired me to keep writing this story and so many more people joined. I'm happy to say that you are just a drop of hatred in an ocean of love that people have for this story. I have a decent connection with the fans of this story. I reply to as many reviews as I can with each new chapter and sometimes, rarely, I respond to them directly.
Sorry for that last response being so long but I feel much better after addressing that review. Listen I don't mind bad reviews, in fact, they help me better my story. I just feel that if you ignore warnings in disclaimers about something and then decide to complain about the thing that you had been warned about, you have no right to complain.
If you go on a website dedicated to fanfiction, do not harass the writers of the fanfictions by saying you don't like the fanfiction and that we are "Taking away the happiness and fantasy of much beloved characters". Fanfiction writers can give these characters just as much happiness, sometimes even more so, than they had in cannon. Calling a fanfiction, "Pathetic and disgusting and boring." Isn't nice, it's a way to ruin someone's spirit if they're unconfident in their writing. Even if someone is confident in their stories that can still really hurt someone.
What I'm saying is, don't leave reviews that harass the writer of the story you're reading. It's disgusting. You are able to choose at any time to stop reading this story, no one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to read it or to comment on things like this reviewer did. Like I said I do not mine bad reviews but reviews like this are something I will not tolerate.
The next day Adriane was walking up to the doors of the daily planet. she was hopeful that she would be able to meet with Lois lane right away. She had looked her up last night to make sure that when Adriane saw her, she would recognize Lios right away. Adriane didn't want to run the risk of possibly bumping into Lios Lane and not realizing.
Adriane was wearing a simple yellow blouse with a black knee-length skirt. The skirt had hoops for a belt that she decided to put her tail through. She was also wearing some black kitten heels and some tan tights. Adriane didn't want to use a glamour on her tail to hide it. She had a feeling that she would need her tail to help prove at least a little bit of her story.
Her hair was a light brown color and her eyes were a lilac color. She figured if anyone asked about her eyes she could just say that she was wearing contacts. As she was walking she thought about what she would say when meeting Lios Lane, if she met her that is.
Adriane gulped slightly when she got to the doors of the daily planet, she steeled her nerves and locked them behind some strong walls before she walked into the building. Adriane walked up to the front desk and the man that was sitting behind it.
He had short brown hair, brown eyes, had glasses, and was wearing the uniform for workers at the daily planet. He looked as Adriane walked up, she gave him a small smile. "Hello, My name is Adriane and I was wondering if there was any chance I could speak with Ms. Lios Lane sometime? I have something important I need to talk to her about and I figured it would be easier, and better if I talked to her here instead of running into her when she's reporting something."
The brown-haired boy rolled his eyes, "I'll check but I doubt it." Adriane nodded smiling at them in thanks. "I understand, thank you for checking anyway."
Adriane stood there for a couple of minutes while waiting for the young man to finish checking everything. She had no clue that Lios Lane was standing right behind the employee's only door that was behind the man with brown hair, Lios had been listening as soon as she heard her name being mentioned. You could never be too careful being one of the only reporters that Superman himself talked to. Heaven only knows how many times it got her kidnapped.
Lios listened as a young lady asked Roger, the man working the counter if there was any chance that she could get in to see Lios. Lios could hear something in her voice that had her instincts screaming at her to at least hear this teenager out.
Lois walked out and nodded to Roger, "I'll see her no worries." She held back a chuckle when seeing the shocked look on the girl's face when realizing that she was honestly going to speak with Lois lane herself. Lios figured that she was probably an aspiring future reporter and just wanted some tips from someone high up in a famous newspaper.
Lois lead the girl to her office and closed the door. "You wanted to speak to me?"
Adriane had no clue how she managed to get in to see Lois Lane without any problems. That wasn't how her luck normally went, She was half expecting something to go bad any moment now so she was startled when she heard Lois speak to her.
"Oh um yes, I wanted-no. I needed to speak to you." She saw Lois raise an eyebrow. "Needed to speak to me? Well you must have something very important to say."
Adriane nodded, silently wondering why she was so hesitant right now. Ever since breaking her bindings she had done her best to be confident and not take shit from anybody. But here she was, stuttering and hesitating to tell this woman what she needed.
Adriane took a deep breath and let it out before speaking. "My name is Adriane Potter but it wasn't always that, my birth name was Dive on. My Mother was named Shara On from the planet Kypton" Adriane stared right at Lois as she let out a soft gasp of surprise. "Yeah the same planet that Superman is from, now while my birth Mother might have been from Krypton my birth Father was from another planet, a planet called Vegeta after the saiyans, the species that lived there, kings. My father was named Cado."
"Is there anything you can say or do to prove this?" Adriane nodded, it was understandable that Lois Lane would be a bit suspicious so she slowly floated up in the air and unwound her tail from where she had it around her waist. "The people of my Birth fathers planet have monkey tails, the reason I'm telling you about this is because I need to see superman, he's the only one from my moms planet left as far as I know. I need to learn more about my powers from that side of my dna. Please I need to control them." Adriane gave Lios pleading eyes, begging her to understand that this is something she truly needed.
She didn't know what she would do if Lios didn't believe her or if she didn't help her contact Superman.
Lois stared at this young girl in shock, she had thought that Clark and Klara were some of the only Kryptons left? Heck, she had thought that Klara was the youngest one out there. Oh god, Clark was going to be so protective of this girl if what she was saying was true.
"Is your father around?" As soon as the words came out of her mouth she regretted it, there was a sad look in the girl's eyes as she answered which just made Lios feel worse. "No, his planet was destroyed by an evil tyrent that was scared of the power they could learn to use."
"Adopted parents?" Lois felt her heart sink when the girl-Adriane shook her head sadly. "They-They were murdered a couple of months after adopting me, they died protecting me since for some reason the killer was after me."
Lois felt awful, this child had lost four sets of parents within such a short amount of time, she probably didn't even remember any of them. Lois vowed to help this girl. "I hope you understand that Superman will need to have a friend of his do some blood work to make sure you're telling the truth?"
Lois watched as Adriane nodded, looking so relieved at being listened to and given a chance. It made Lois wonder about the adults in her life that just being listened to caused this much relief and surprise in the young girl. "One last thing, how old are you and where are you staying?"
Adriane could have jumped for joy at being listened to, and even better get a chance to meet superman. She was startled from her thoughts when Lois asked her how old she was. "Oh I'm 14, my birthday is July 31st! I'm staying at a hotel not far from here."
After a couple more minutes of talking and clearing up how to contact her later, she was on her way back to the hotel with prep in her step, this was the most excited she's been in ages!
As soon as Adriane left Lois gathered up her things and left the office, she told the front desk that she would be heading home for the day to take the rest of the day off. They didn't ask any questions and just put it in the computers as she walked away and got in her car.
As she drove back to her home she wondered how she was going to tell Clark about what had happened. She chuckled as she thought of him trying to be super protective of Adriane like he was Klara. From Adriane's accent, it was obvious she was from Britain or somewhere around there. This meant that it would be a bit harder for him to keep tabs on her all the time unless he decided to try and move in with them as soon as the blood work came back positive.
Though that might not be such a bad idea, Adriane hadn't said anything but what she didn't say spoke volumes. The girl's adoptive parents were murdered not long after she was adopted and Lois had a feeling that Adriane didn't have a pleasant childhood after that. Lois didn't know where Adriane was placed after her parents died but wherever it had been must have been bad. Why else would this child, only 14 years old, be allowed to go all the way to the USA by herself. And this kid was by herself.
When Lois got home she noticed that Clark was sitting on the couch and it was clear he had just got home as well, probably not long before her. He looked up as she walked over, seemingly just noticing she got home even if they both knew he could hear her from a mile away.
"Hey Lois, how was work?"
Lois plopped down into the spot next to him and leaned on them. "It was very interesting" Clark let out a small curious hum. "Oh? How so?" Lois gave him a serious look. "Someone came to the office looking for me today, they were a 14 year old girl that came all the way from the other side of the ocean!"
Clark sat up, looking surprised and interested. "Wait, really? Why would this kid do that? Why would her parents LET her do this?" Lois shook her head sadly, "Clark, this kid doesn't have any parents and trust me she needed to speak to me it was important."
Clark got a sad look in his eyes when hearing this kid didn't have parents. Lois knew how he felt, it was always sad to hear about children without parents but to meet one and see how sad a child was that they had no one there for them was heartbreaking. Especially with this kid, Adriane hadn't lost just one set of parents, no she had lost two. One right after the other it seemed.
"Clark what I'm about to say is important, this kid I met with? They're Birth mom was from Kypton and-" Lois yelped when Clark Jumped up, accidentally pushing her away, she looked up to say something but paused. Clark looked so shocked and confused.
"Lois what do you mean that this kids mom was from Krypton? Krypton has been gone for years, since I was a baby. If you're right in the fact that this kid is 14 then how is this possible!"
"Don't you get upset at me Clark! If you would let me finish then I would have told you that she wanted to speak with us and explain everything when you have time!"
Clark sighed and slowly sat back down. "You're right I'm sorry, what else did she say?" Lois rubbed his shoulder to help keep him calm and ground him. "She's half krypton yes, but she's also part Sayian, apparently they're another humiode human race only they have monkey tails. They're almost all gone to though I'm guessing. Her father was from that planet and it was destroyed by a tyrent that was scared of the powers that these sayians could learn to hold."
Clark looked horrified learning that both of this girl's home planets had been destroyed, she had no one around that could help her learn about her planets and their history. Lois knew how he felt but stayed silent to help him come to terms with what he heard.
After ten minutes she spoke again. "I told her that we would need to do a blood test to confirm this, she had no problems with it. Clark she seemed so, relieved and surprised and being listened to. I don't think she's had an easy or even good life until now."
Clark was staring at the ground before he seemed to come to a decision. "Okay if you can get in contact with her to see if I can meet her tomorrow that would be great, I need to speak to her for myself and hear what she has to say. I'll speak to Bruce about this after speaking to her, who knows what he'd do if we told him before hand."
Lois chuckled, "He would probably try to get her blood before allowing us to speak to her."
Clark chuckled with her and nodded. "True, he's a good man but he's very suspocious of new people."
Hey sorry about my rant at the start of the story but it needed to be said, anyways I think that I might have Adriane enter the DBZ story at the start of the Namak saga so she can go to namak with the others.
