I can't believe this, two chapters in one month? What has gotten into me! Honestly, I was just really inspired and decided to make a filler chapter while also having Adriane do some Christmas shopping for her friends.

are you going to make her transform to different forms of Super Saiyan like the ones in all of Dragon Balls episodes like Super Saiyan one or the one with the Goku and Vegeta transform to a half-monkey transformation to power up before she goes to Piccolo's home planet with the others

Me: I'm going to assume that when you say half-monkey you mean the super Saiyan 4 form. But no, I do not plan for her to reach super Saiyan before leaving for namak.

Great job keep it up. Yeah, Bruce is an amazing guy but extremely suspicious about people's intentions. I wonder who's in the Justice league magical will be more surprised when her whole story comes out. I imagine over half will be staring open-mouth shock written across their faces. In some stories, hawk girl is lily who's had her memories wiped.

I wonder how effective Kryptonite will be against Adriane? Update when you can

Me: Yeah he is really suspicious. And I'm assuming that Bruce will be the most shocked since he probably had no clue that he had a cousin at all. Not to mention how much she went through.

Also in regards to the Kryptonite, Me and my old beta (Who I haven't talked to in basically a year because they ghosted me XD) it was decided that she would be affected by it but not to the extent that Superman is. We also decided that each time she is exposed to it she will slowly gain a bit of resistance to it, thanks to her magic and Saiyan heritage. She'll never be completely immune to it though, she'll just have a small resistance to the rocks.

Now it's time for the chapter to get started! I hope you all enjoy this small filler story.

Adriane was ecstatic when getting back to the hotel room she was renting. She couldn't believe that she had gotten through everything without getting arrested or thrown out. Adriane was so happy she decided to go check out the magical areas in the town. Adriane doubted that Lois would be coming to talk to her today so She had the rest of the day off to do whatever she wished. She grabbed her purse and left the room, locking the door behind her as she went. Walking down to the front desk she once again looked around the hotel she was staying in. The building itself was only five stories tall but it was wide enough to make sure each room had plenty of space for the guests to relax in. Each room had a decent bathroom and closet attached, for the people who stayed longer than a week.

The room that had the reception desk had a checkerboard floor in a nice marble. The walls were a nice light wood color to compliment the floor, the walls had a couple of pictures of the normal things a hotel had up. Things like flowers and waterfalls and the like. The room also had a couple of loveseats scattered around with some coffee tables next to them. The coffee tables had a couple of magazines on each of them along with a vase of flowers. The flowers were the colors pink and white with a couple of yellow ones thrown in.

Adriane walked out of the glass doors and down the street, she silently ducked into an alleyway and held her hand out channeling a bit of magic to call a taxi to get to the magic shopping center in this town. Getting in she asked to be taken to the best magic shopping center around. Adriane was thankful that the driver waited until she buckled up before he started driving like a madman to the center. Adriane knew that even if they crashed she wouldn't get hurt but, she still held on for dear life. She loved going fast but only under her own power. As soon as the taxi stopped she got out right away, handing over the three gallons it cost to the driver with a soft thank you.

Adriane might have been excited to leave the car, but that did not mean that she was going to be rude. The taxi pulled away as Adriane slowly took in the sight of the entrance to the magical district. It seemed to be behind a pet store? Adriane walked in and glanced around. There were pet treats on display along with dog sunglasses, Adriane didn't even know there were sunglasses for dogs out there. As she was looking around a woman walked up to her.

The woman had red hair in a braid running down her back. Her eyes were hazel with some freckles on her nose. If Adriane hadn't known any better she would have sworn that this girl was a Weasley. Adriane didn't think she was though, for one thing, while her hair was red, it wasn't the signature fire-red hair that the family was known for. Another thing was that this girl was wearing new clothes that seemed to be fairly expensive. Adriane disliked judging someone on their clothes or financial status but it was well known that the Weasleys were a poor family that couldn't afford clothes like this.

"Hi, My name is Kasey McMiller how can I help you today?" Kasey had a kind and happy-sounding voice that made Adriane a bit more relaxed. She had been right that this girl wasn't a Weasley, that was good to know.

"I need a bit of help finding somewhere, I'm looking for a place where I can find some magical Christmas presents for some friends of mine back home." Adriane saw Kasey's eyes widen slightly before she beamed, "Of course, follow me and I'll give you a map with some directions to a nice shopping center!"

Kasey led her to a small back room where she preceded to push a button that opened a small secret staircase behind a bookshelf. This caused Adriane to give Kasey a deadpan look, "Really? A secret staircase behind a bookshelf? That's like, the most well known way to hide a secret base."

Somewhere in Gotham.

Batman was about to punch the Joker in the face when he suddenly sneezed and felt the need to change how he hid the entrance to the Batcave.

Maybe hide it behind a bust of his father?

Back with our hero

Kasey looked at Adriane sheepishly, "The creator of this place was a big fan of mystery books." which, yeah that explained a lot of things.

Adriane snorted in amusement as she walked down the stairs, as soon as she got to the bottom her jaw dropped open slightly. Standing before her was one of the biggest malls she had ever seen, Adriane had been expecting this place to be like Daigon Alley. She was glad she was wrong.

Adriane immediately started exploring and after a few hours, she knew she had the perfect gifts for all her friends. For Fred, she managed to find a rare potions book in a second-hand store. She knew that Fred and George each had a very special talent that helped them with their prank projects. For Fred this was potions, for George it was charms. They were both very talented with transfiguration, runes, and Arithmancy. Fred was slightly better at transfiguration and George was a bit better with Arithmancy. Both of them were about equal in runes.

Anyways, she got the rare potions book for Fred and she managed to also find some new charm books for George. These books had several new charms that Adriane had never heard of and when she asked someone working at the store about the charms Adriane learned that this book had just come out and a lot of the charms were newly created. She was sure that George would love it!

Adriane picked both of the twins up some chocolate and prank supplies as well before she got them some books on pranks and runes for them to share.

For Nevile, she managed to find some plant seeds that he didn't have yet along with a good luck charm that was supposed to help with his memory. Adriane had a small suspicion that Nevile's problems weren't natural and that he was bound as well so she set up an appointment around the easter holidays to go get him checked out. Adriane would have got it earlier but she had a feeling that when she got back she would be under a much closer eye than she had before.

Luna was a bit easier to shop for, she got her a book on rare creatures that were unknown to British wizards but well known outside of the country. The book had some information about some of the creatures that Luna and her dad always talked about, it also had some spells in it that would let them see the creatures that couldn't be seen with the naked eye. Adriane also got her a couple of focus crystals and some incense that was supposed to help keep her grounded to reality.

It took her a while to figure out what to get Fluer but figured that sending her some chocolates would be good. She found her a wonderful dress and shoes as well. The dress was a knee-length dress with short slightly puffy sleeves, it was a blue-white gradient. The shoes were kitten heels that were colored sky blue with some glitter spread around to make them look sparkly.

Adriane also decided to get her elf friends some gifts, she found Dobby some very colorful Christmas socks. She also got him got gloves and a couple of hats to keep his ears warm. She also picked him up some shoes that were just his size. Adriane was so surprised when she found a store that specialized in clothes for house-elves. Apparently, elves had much more freedom and rights outside of Britain.

Adriane got Winky a couple of nice dresses, shoes, hats, and a necklace from the same store. Adriane also picked her up some new knitting needles along with some yarn.

Adriane also picked up some gifts for Lois Lane and Superman. For Lois, she picked up a special pen that would help her when she was interviewing someone because it would change the color of ink whenever someone lied. This meant that it would highlight any lies. It would write by itself but it wouldn't be seen by anyone who didn't know the pen was there.

For superman, she wasn't sure what to get him so she commissioned the goblins to make him a cape that would never rip and tear that would also always come back to him in case it was lost.

Adriane picked up some wrapping paper, tape, bows, and blank cards before she left the shopping center.

The first thing she did when getting back to the hotel was wrap the gifts. Adriane could have used magic to do it, she was across the ocean there was little chance she could get in trouble with the ministry, but she wanted to do it by hand. It felt more personal to wrap a present for someone by hand.

As soon as she was done with the wrapping hours later she called Dobby and asked her to take the gifts for Fred, George, Luna, and Fluer's presents to the castle and place them on the foot of the beds when the time came to open presents. Adriane had made sure to hide the gifts she got for Dobby and Winky so they would hopefully have no clue that she had even gotten them anything.

As soon as Dobby was gone Adriane was letting out a yawn, damn she was tired. Adriane had underestimated how bad jet lag would be.

She slowly got ready for bed, putting her PJs on and brushing her teeth. She was too tired to do anything else besides climb into bed and snuggle into her covers. As soon as her head hit the pillow she was out like a light.

She had a long day ahead of her tomorrow, that is if Lois had got ahold of Superman and he agreed to talk to her. SHe couldn't wait.

I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, like I said it was just a small filler chapter. Next chapter will be Adriane meeting Superman and explaining everything.
