So this is another chapter of Adriane explaining what's happened in her life. You don't need to read this one if you don't want to, but do read the first bit if you want to see their reactions to the gifts Adriane got them!

Tsukikageshi chapter 23. Feb 4

Interesting. Not how DNA works exactly but flies by in-universe explaining for it. Pretty sure I've seen the old Batman cartoon do about that before.

Dumbledore won't know what hit him(or maybe he has some bs just in case because he's old and considers many possibilities). Have seen plans for Handling both universes her parents are supposed to be from but what about the American ministry? Could involve them, and really someone should be investing a magical child traveling alone even if magic recognizes her as grown. Feels like something mucasa would look into. Like 'yes they are sure she is a child. Yes we need to look into this.' Or just she flagged as an unaccompanied minor child who traveled and did not meet with an adult or maybe should have and only suddenly someone realizes her magic didn't make it trigger like it should have and all sorts of mess…

The international incident sounds like a fun possibility and with magical superhero's also existing and even basically alien magicals, it could even be a thing in of itself. Still. Mucosa seems to busybody to leave this alone. Especially since- does she even look fourteen? Or does she look like a twelve-year-old with boobs? In a big city all alone and nobody has tried to take advantage of her yet? Yeah…

Anyway super interesting and enjoyed reading it. Thought if you ran out of ideas for more this might help at the risk of also doing what I do when writing… sorry if that is the case.

Me: Yeah, I've seen that happen in cartoons too. Also, I don't think even Dumbledore would be able to predict what was going to happen and explain it away with some BS. Keep in mind, James and Lily never mentioned how they found Adriane to him or anyone.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Adriane is a metamorphic which means she can change how old she looks and whatnot. I do like your idea of having Macasa interfere with her trip.

Lady Rosa Marinette Hufflepuff chapter 23 . Feb 4

ArashiNokitsune chapter 22. Feb 4

when it comes to the Harry Potter Universe one can say that a family tree is very messed up but this... well I just don't know... but she is in for a shock when she finds out

Me: You're right she will be in for a shock. I dropped a couple of clues about who her uncle was in the first few chapters, I mean his name is Jack Napier Potter. Apparently in the comics that was his name.

A reviewer realized who Adriane's uncle was in just chapter two of the rewrite and told me they found the idea interesting and when I asked how they knew that the Joker was Jack, they responded by saying it was from the comics!

Anyways, that's all the reviews for now! I hope if you decide to read this chapter that you enjoy it, I tried to break up the storytelling a bit. I think some of the breaks are a little funny.

Superman flew into the room and settled himself on the small recliner next to the couch. "Sorry I'm late girls. There was some trouble along the way."

Adriane smiled at him, "It's fine sir, were you hurt?" She got a concerned look on her face, which made Superman smile at her. "No, I'm okay. Not a scratch on me."

Lois handed over Supermans present to him with a smile, "Adriane got us each a christmas present, wasn't that nice of her?" Clark was surprised but nodded, "Adriane you know-" "I know but I wanted too, now hurry up and open it so I can explain!." Adriane was bouncing in her seat as if she was the one opening a present.

Clark laughed and unwrapped his present and was surprised to see a new cape. He felt it and was surprised to feel it seemed to be really good quality. "Adriane did you make this?" Adriane snorted.

"I wish! No, I commissioned the Goblins that run the magical banks to make this for you. It's charmed to never rip or tear, to be stain proof, and also to always come back to you if you happen to lose it. In the small chance that it does rip or get damaged then it's charmed to repair itself."

Clark stared down at his new cape shocked, "How." He coughed in his hand. "How much did this cost you?" Adriane just smiled at him, "Not much, the goblins like me so they didn't overcharge me like they would a lot of others."

"Overcharge?"

Nodding Adriane replied. "Yeah, most magicals treat the goblins rudely and openly insult them so to get a small bit of payback they overcharge for things they ask for. Goblin made things are some of the best out there so even overcharging the price is worth it in my eyes."

While Clark was silently wondering who would be stupid enough to openly insult and be rude to the people who handle your money, Lois was unwrapping her gift.

Lois held up her new pen confused but smiled. "I love it." Adriane laughed. "Don't worry, I didn't get you a plain pen, it's magical!" This made Lois look at the pen more interested than before, "Really? What does it do?"

"Well, It can write by itself without you needing to do anything, there's a special feature where if you push the button on the bottom of the pen three times then it will fly up to your notepad and start writing everything down. Don't worry because only those who know about the pen and what it can do beforehand will be able to see it floating like that, I also realized you would need a pad of paper for the pen that had that same charm so if you look at the bottom of the box you'll see it there, it's charmed to have unlimited pages."

"The pen will also change into a bright red when it's writing down a lie and then change back when the lie is over with. I figured it could help to have something like that as a reporter."

Lois was over the moon about her new pen, she never thought she would ever be so happy to receive a pen before. "Oh! I almost forgot, both are also charmed to be hard to destroy in anyway, they will also always come back if you happen to lose them. I know people lose pens a lot so I figured that charm was a must."

Lois laughed softly before agreeing and putting the pen back in the box. While the two girls had been talking Clark went to go try his new cape on and came back out. "This cape feels very nice, thank you Adriane."

Adriane blushed at being thanked, "You're welcome, I wanted to get you two something in thanks for listening to me. Not many people would do that." She mumbled that last bit while staring at the floor so she missed Clark and Lois sharing a dark look at the lack of care adults in her life had shown her so far.

Clark sat back down and gestured to Adriane, "You ready to continue your story?" Nodding, she took a deep breath, "Yeah I am."

"Okay, yesterday I finished telling you about my first year, now let's get into second year, or more specifically, the summer before second year."

"Magicals that are under the age of 17 aren't allowed to use magic outside of school unless it's in self-defense. Luckily my relatives didn't know that, so I was able to make them believe that if they mistreated me, I could use magic against them. They mostly left me alone after that threat."

"Unluckily, on my birthday, a house-elf popped into my room and tried to convince me to not go back to Hogwarts since there would be too dangerous for me-Superman are you growling?" Adriane turned to look at him surprised, and confused.

Clark slowly turned red and sunk down in his seat slightly. "Um, Noooo?" Lois started giggling in her hand, while Adriane shook her head, confused. Superman was weird, this wasn't even the worst part of her story!

"Um, Anyways, The house-elf tried to warn me from going back to Hogwarts and, when I refused ran downstairs making lots of noise, I rushed after them and watched in horror as he levitated a cake over one of my uncles and aunts guests! He had a business meeting that day, needless to say, he did not get that business deal he wanted."

"The house-elf dropped the cake and popped away leaving me to deal with the fallout! I got a letter from the misuse of magic office warning me that I was not to do any more underage magic or I could be expelled. After that my relatives realized I couldn't use magic outside of school so, they locked me in my room, put a cat flat on my door, and a lot of locks on it. They also put bars on my window-Superman I swear to got if you don't stop growling I will Gag you!"

Adriane turned to him with a raised eyebrow. "It's very distracting." Clark looked away, embarrassed, trying to figure out if she was telling the truth about gaging him or not.

"Anyways, as I was saying." She gave Clark the stink eye. "They put bars on my window. Turns out the house-elf from before had been stealing my letters so, the redhead I'm friends with and his twin brothers came to bust me out of the house. Their dad had enchanted a car to fly somehow and, they decided to steal it to come to save me."

"They tore the bars on my window off and helped me get my things and myself into the car and they took me to their house to stay until school started."

"On September 1st, the date we took the train to get to school, The redhead and me were the last two to try and get on the platform but the gateway had been closed so we couldn't get through. I'll skip a few things but, just know we had managed to get to school in mostly one piece."

Lois didn't like the sound of that last part. What did she mean, mostly one piece?"

"Once again everything was fine until Halloween as we were heading back to our dorms. We ran into a wall that had blood on it that spelt out, 'Enemies of the heir beware.' There was also a cat that belonged to our schools awful caretaker hung up by it's tale on a candle holder, turns out she had been petrified by something but we all thought she was dead at first."

"I and my two friends had been at the Gryffindor house ghost's death day party, it's kind of like a birthday party but only it celebrates the day they died instead of the day they were born."

Lois's eyes were wide, Ghosts were real?!

"This meant that we weren't at the feast so the teachers thought it might have been us, luckily they realized there was no way we could have done it and sent us on our way soon enough."

Sighing Adriane continued, "the next thing to happen was at my quidditch game, a rogue bludger, a giant metal ball that was hurled at you at high speeds basically that the beaters hit like a giant baseball. A rouge bludger started chasing me, trying to hit me, the twins are on the team with me, and they were the beaters so they tried to hit the ball away but it didn't work. It just kept coming, it had been charmed to case me and-Okay Superman I warned you!"

Adriane grabbed her wand and waved it at Clark, a ribbon came out of her wand and shoved itself in his mouth, while tying itself around his head. Lois burst out in laughter and almost fell off the couch at Clark's wide-eyed shocked look.

Adriane gave a small giggle as she watched Clark pull the ribbon off and give her a look of disbelief. "Hey, I warned you what would happen!"

"Fine, you did warn me but please don't do that again." Clark chuckled, surprised she had followed through on her threat.

"Fine but please try to stop growling, it reminds me of my uncles, sisters dog she named ripper." Adriane scowled, "Damn thing almost tore my leg off and chased me up a tree that I was stuck in for hours since my relatives didn't want to help me."

Clark suddenly understood why his growling bothered Adriane so much, she was probably scared of dogs for the most part thanks to her childhood. This meant that hearing something that sounded like a dog growling made her scared, even if there wasn't a dog around. He vowed to do his best not to growl anymore.

"Okay, where was I? Oh right, The rogue bludger. it chased me around the field and eventually crashed itself into my arm breaking several of my bones. I'm just happy it wasn't my ribs or my head that got hit. Our new defense professor for the year was a useless fraud that could only do one single spell correctly. I have no clue how he managed to pass his classes, let alone his owls or newts! Those are wizarding exams by the way."

"The professor rushed over, said he had a spell that could fix me up right away and then he VANISHED THE BONES IN MY ARM! He didn't even get in trouble for it, I was taken to the hospital wing where I was given a potion to regrow my bones. Sadly I wasn't able to have any pain relievers of any kind, the potion was very painful but I stayed silent and eventually fell asleep."

Clark was horrified, how could someone vanish someone's bones like that? He froze when he realized something, Adriane was part Kryptonian, this meant she had a weakness to magic, most likely, just like most of their kind. If that teacher had tried using some other spell and hit her what would have happened if something worse went wrong?

"During the night I was awoken by the same house-elf that tried to make me stay away from Hogwarts. Turns out he had been the one to charm the bludger, he wasn't trying to kill me, just severely hurt or maim so I would be sent home." Seeing the disbelief on their faces, Adriane snorted. "Yeah, he just wanted me to need to be sent home for any reason he could find. He's a good elf, he just had a bad life so didn't understand how bad his actions were at that time."

"Before he could say anything else we heard voices and he popped away. The voices were the headmaster, Deputy Headmistress who is also the head of Gryffindor house, and the school's healer. They were levitating a child that was frozen, literally frozen like stone. He had been petrified like the cat had been."

"After that, the school decided to host a dueling club to help students learn how to defend themselves, guess who was the teacher? That's right, the useless fraud of a defense teacher! He was also getting help from the one teacher of staff that hated me with all his non existent heart."

"Soon enough, they were paring up students to duel, I don't get why they did this, there were only 2 teachers there and at least over 200 students in the room. There was no way they could keep an eye on all of them. They paired me up with a boy from another house that hated me and were told to disarm only."

"I'll just call the boy Bad faith from now on. The teachers would count down from 3 and, we would then try to disarm the other. Bad faith jumped the gun and cast a spell before the teacher got to 1, but he didn't cast a disarming charm. No, he cast a spell to summon a snake. The snake was disorenented and tried to attack a student, I yelled for it to stop, it listened and suddenly I'm finding out I can talk to snakes and that now everyone thinks that I'm behind the petrifications happening!"

Clark couldn't believe that just because Adriane could talk to snakes, everyone in her school thought she was behind what had been happening. That was insane.

"Several more people were petrified and people blamed me even more, one day my best friend the bushy-haired girl got petrified. This convinced everyone that I wasn't behind the attacks, it's not like I had air tight allibies for several of the attacks." Adriane snorted.

"I'll skip a few things but later one me and redhaired boy figured out what was petrifying everyone and tried to go tell a teacher when we heard something awful that had recently happened. Reds little sister was taken into the chamber of secrets, it was supposed to be a mythical chamber that one of the founders of our school created long ago."

"I and Red figured out where the chamber was and Red decided to go grab the defense fraud to bring with us. While down in the pipes that the monster used to get around we found out how he was a fraud and what the only spell he could do correctly was. Obliterate, a mind-wiping spell. He was planning on wiping our memories and saying that he had been too late to save reds sister and that we lost our minds from seeing her dead body."

"Luckily he had grabbed Red's wand since we had disarmed him beforehand. Red's wand had been broken at the start of the year and no one thought to get him a new one. Anyways, the spell backfired and caused a cave-in, the fraud had accidentally wiped his own memories and had no clue who he even was!"

Clark gave a small chuckle, served that bastard right. Who the hell thought employing that man was a good idea? How he hadn't gotten fired before trying to mind wipe Adriane was a mystery.

"I was separated from Red and the fraud and was forced to go on ahead on my own. Turns out Red's sister, I'll call her Gin, had found a diary before the school year started that wrote back whenever she wrote in it. She poured her soul into it and in return, it poured its soul into her." Adriane's face went dark.

"The diary held part of the soul of the dark lord, the longer Gin wrote in the diary the stronger its control over her became. It was able to possess her and force her to do things, things like set loose a monster to petrify a cat, hang it up by a candle handle, and kill all the roosters around the school and use their blood to write messages on the wall."

Lois gasped, putting a hand over her mouth as she realized that this girl, probably 11, had been forced to do all of that. She must have been so scared.

"Turns out the monster was a basilisk! If you look it in the eyes, poof, you're dead! It was over 20 feet wide and 60 or 80 feet long and was chasing me! Luckily the headmaster's phoenix managed to get in the chamber and tossed the sorting hat on the floor. The phoenix managed to blind the basilisk so at least now I could see where I was running too" Adriane was getting sarcastic now.

"Turns out the hat was hiding a fucking sword inside it and expected me to use it to kill the snake, so I did. When the snake went to strike at me I raised up the sword and stabbed it through the roof of its mouth right into its brain." Adriane sighed softly as she rubbed her arm, "Unfortinently, while I stabbed it one of its teeth stabbed my arm and poisoned me. Basilisk venom is the most potent of all poisons."

Clark and Lois stared at Adriane in horror as she continued.

"I was dying and I knew it, I used the last of my strength to crawl over to the diary and grabbed the tooth from my arm and used it to stab the blasted thing over and over again until finally it died."

"The soul in it died and lost it's hold on Gin, Fawks the phoenix flew over to me and cried on my arm. What most people don't know is that there is one cure for basalisk venom," Here Adriane smirked while looking at them. "Phoenix tears, the most powerful healing agent in the world."

"Fawks then helped us get out of the chamber, picking up Red and the fraud on the way, We got to the headmaster's office and told him what happened, he never sent us to the hospital wing, never arranged therapy or a mind healer at all. He just gave us points and sent us on our mary way."

Lois couldn't believe that a teacher, let alone a headmaster, would be so irresponsible. Then again, they were talking about a headmaster that decided that hiding a magical artifact in a school was a good idea.

"Now we move onto my third year, I got sent back to my relatives but this time my aunt Marge was visiting with her dog Ripper. She kept insulting my parents and me, which made me get angry which caused my magic to act up and slowly inflate her like a balloon. She floated out of the house and I ran before my relatives could do anything to me in return."

"This was the summer that Sirius Black escaped from prison, turns out he's magical and the prison he escaped from had soul-sucking demons guarding the place. They're called dementors and make you relieve your worst memories over and over again. The only prison the British magicals have is the one these things guard."

Clark was horrified that any prison or government would allow something like that to guard their prisoners. What if someone's only crime was stealing something?

"I got to the magical alley and stayed the rest of the year at the leaky cauldron, it's the secret entrance to the magical shopping district. When we were getting back on the train Red's dad pulled me away to explain something. Everyone believed that Sirius had broken out of prison to get revenge for his master. I already explained before that my parents changed secret keepers and that Sirius was the distraction. Everyone believed that Sirius was the secret keeper so when he chased down Peter, Peter was able to turn things around. He yelled that Sirius had been the one to betray my parents, cut off his finger, blew up the street, and escaped by turning into a rat and running into the sewers."

"Sirius wasn't given a trial, he was thrown in prison without one. Sirius actually escaped to protect me."

Lois and Clark were concerned about how sane Sirius was after spending almost 12 years in that place with those things.

"On the way to Hogwarts the train was stopped and the dementors came on board. One of them came into our compartment and I heard a woman screaming before fainting. It was my mother in her last moments."

Lois have Adriane a small hug and held her as she continued the story.

"On Halloween, because it's always Halloween, Sirius tried to break into the Gryffindor's dorm since he believed everyone would be at Dinner. He wasn't able to get in so in frustration he slashed the portrait that was guarding our dorm room. Luckily the Fat Lady was able to leave before it was slashed."

Clark was confused about how a portrait was able to be alive.

"A couple of months later Sirius tried again, this time he had the password and got in. Red woke up with Sirius Black standing over his bed with a knife and screamed his head off causing Sirius to run."

"At the end of the year, we found out that Sirius was after Ron's pet rat and-" Lois let out a gasp as she put the pieces together which made Adriane nod in her shoulder, "Yeah you got it. The rat was in fact, Peter. He had been hiding with Red's family for over 12 years, no clue how they didn't think something was up."

"Our defense teacher for that year was Remus Lupin, an old friend of my father and Sirius, he is a werewolf. Long story short, he was there with us learning all about this but it was a full moon so he changed when a werewolf changes without taking a special potion beforehand they have no control of their mind."

"He tried attacking us but Sirius transformed into his dog form and held him off enough for us to escape, sadly something happened and Sirius had been caught and was about to get the Dementors kiss, a dementor's kiss is what dementors doo when sucking out someone's soul."

Lois gasped while Clark stared at her in horror. How did they not know about these things before now?

"Do to some time travel shit me, and Bushy managed to free him before that, luckily no one knew what we had done but the headmaster."

Adriane sighed and curled up into Lois's side.

"Now I need to explain what's been going on this year so far."

"You can do that later, right now you seem exasted so how about you take a nap here and you can explain things when you wake up." Lois spoke while running a hand through Adriane's hair.

She glanced up at Lois, eyes showing how tired she was. Both mentally and physically. "You sure?" Lois nodded in response and within no time at all Adriane was asleep.
