I'm gonna admit it, I was very tired when writing this so it might not be the best chapter ever. I did my best though so that's all that matters to me!
I've been wondering something. Would anyone be interested in a story, where the characters read this story? Like a reading of the book's story, but instead of books, they read my story. I don't know if I'll write it, it's just something I'm really interested in.
I think it would be interesting and if I do write it, I'm not sure if I want to start it right after Adriane/Harry's name is drawn from the Goblet of Fire or right after they're sorted in the first year?
If it's after the Goblet of fire then Adriane/Harry will already have been disillusioned with the Wizarding world, but if it's right after being sorted in their first year, then they could avoid a lot of grief and pain later on.

Great job keep it up. Damn Adriane has the biggest heart as she looks out for the little people in the magical world. Adriane is trying to make the world a better place. She made the best choice in choosing to trust Lois and Clark. I hope she trusts Bruce as family.
If Sirius and Remus ever go to the bank and did an inheritance test I wonder what would be found. I imagine both of them are being influenced somewhat. Update when you can

Taking into account The Uncle threw James. Jack aka Joker should they find and get hold of him they should take him to the Goblins and do a full inheritance and ability test and Physical to find out everything that has happened to him and done to him. was his memories tampered with is he a squib or where his powers tampered with. And if so maybe they can give him a full purge and unblock everything done to him and restore his memories and sanity. So that he can fully reform. And make up for what he has done while not being fully himself. And be the protective uncle. And at the same time revenge and justice for what happened to himself and his brother and sister-in-law and niece. Because that old goat needs to have little Adrian's/Harry's family on both sides lay into that old goat for the crimes he has committed against their combined family.
Me: I love how everything is just assuming that Dumbledore did something to him, I mean you're not wrong that something did happen to him. But just because Dumbledore is bad, doesn't mean he had a hand in what happened to Jack/Joker. (Even though he probably would have done something to get him out of the way if what happened never happened.
He just took advantage of Jack/Joker not being there to get Better control of Adriane/Harry. I'm not saying who did something to him, or what though. Even if you can probably guess the who.

Aww, man. You wrote a story that sucked me in! I read the latest chapter of secret gem (I know not the actual title) and saw your list of stories and was like I could check it out and I started reading this and didn't stop till the end and now I'm wanting more! I am anxiously awaiting Bruce and Jack meeting her and each other in a non-hero/villain aspect.
You've also mentioned a few times being unsure about how to play Sirius and Remus. I personally would play them as duped and portioned. I mean Sirius spent 12 years in prison and dumbledore did nothing in the third year to help him and Sirius didn't go to him. So he had to have memory wipe Sirius of the will and sent him to prison to get him out of the way. Remus I see as dumbledore seeing him as his pet werewolf. To be used and guided but carefully since as a werewolf he would be more resistant to some compulsions and potions I'd done by normal wizards but by an elder wand user and alchemist who I'd a master manipulator he wouldn't stand a chance. Most of us assume dumbledore kept all mail from "harry". He probably also set up wards and aversion on "harry" to keep others away. And he probably chased Remus out of England using his werewolf status. But that's my opinion. I am waiting to see what you end up doing.
I did notice that Ginny didn't know "harry" was being potioned to love her because she came up with the "new" idea to follow in her mother's footsteps and potion "him". It makes me wonder how you'll play Arthur Charlie Bill and Percy. Are they on the side of the twins or Molly? And are we gonna see Ginny finally break from the horror of her 1st year and dumbledores (and obviously her mother's) continued manipulation of her?
Again can't wait for more!
Me: I'm glad you like my story, both my stories actually. I already have an idea of how Adriane and Jack/Joker will meet, it will be a surprise to all those who read this story.
As I mentioned in the first review I answered today, I've finally decided on what to do with Sirius and Remus. It's nothing new but it will add more Drama, that's all you're getting.
Also, Ginny did know that Adriane/Harry was being love potioned, I made a mistake when making that chapter. I meant to have her think it was time to use a stronger potion on Adriane/Harry. That's on me.
But no, she knows they're being love potioned or was being love potioned is the better response. She's not an innocent flower being manipulated, she's known about this plot and agreed with it for ages.
Onto the story!
Adriane spent the rest of the day enchanting everything she had bought to do exactly what she wanted them to do. She silently wondered if she should buy something for Bruce and his kids, she could have Clark deliver them for her. Adriane had no clue what to get them though, for Lois and Clark it was easy. Lois is a very well know reporter and Clark lost a lot of capes in his line of work.
With Bruce and his kids, adoptive or otherwise, Adriane had no clue what to get them. Maybe something defensive? They did live in one of the most dangerous cities in the world after all. Adriane sat in thought before deciding to buy them some bracelets or necklaces and enchant them for protection.
She caught a taxi and went to the mall, the muggle mall that is. Adriane wanted to enchant the jewelry herself, she didn't really trust protection jewelry that was bought in a jewelry shop. She had a theory that those shops sold poor enchantments to people so if the enchantments failed, people would come back and buy more.
Spotting a jewelry store she walked in and started looking around. Adriane had looked up the Wayne family after finding out that her and Bruce were second cousins. Thanks to that, Adriane had a small idea of what they would like.
For example, Richard "Dick" Grayson used to be part of a circus act called the Flying Graysons. Adriane had a feeling he might like something to remind him of the sky whenever he was trapped inside. She had read that he liked using the trapeze still to this day.
Jason Todd was the second adoptive son of Bruce. He used to live on the streets and rumor had it, from what she read, that he had once tried to steal the tires off of the Batman's car. Adriane thought something simple would be best for him, maybe a leather bracelet that he could wear anytime.
Tim Drake was the third adoptive son of Bruce. His parents were from the same social circles from what she had read. His mother had died and his dad was now paralyzed. He was rumored to be a genius and was slotted to inherit the CEO role in the Wayne company. Adriane thought he might like a ring since it wouldn't get in his way.
Bruce's fourth child was Damien Wayne, his only biological child. His mother had, had custody of him until he was 10 when she brought him to live with his father. Bruce had no clue that Damien had even existed until then. Adriane wondered if he would like a leather bracelet or an earring. Something simple that he could wear anytime but still be hidden.
For Bruce, Adriane was thinking of getting him a simple silver chain. Adriane couldn't find much information on Bruce, Himself. She found more info on his children than Bruce.
Looking around Adriane decided to try something. Closing her eyes she let go of her tight control on her magic and let it guide her to the perfect gift for Dick. She followed her magic to a small corner and opened her eyes, Adriane smiled when she saw what was there.
It was a silver necklace with a bird hanging from it. The bird looked like a Nightwing to her, although she didn't know what most birds looked like. She had been more focused on other things.
Picking up the necklace she once again closed her eyes and, had it lead her to the perfect gift for Jason. Adriane once again followed her magic and opened her eyes when it told her she was right in front of the gift. Adriane smiled when she saw a red and black bracelet that was perfect for Jason.
She did this a few more times until she had enough gifts for everyone, she had even grabbed a present for Alfred, Bruce's butler.
For Tim, Adriane had managed to find a simple ring with a red robbin on it, she would charm everything to size themselves to the person wearing the jewelry.
For Damien, she had found some earrings, for some reason her magic had led her to two different sets. One set was of robins and the other was of swords. Adriane didn't know why her family was so obsessed with birds. Adriane just figured that they really liked the Batfamily so their gifts reflected their favorite Bat.
Adriane thought she was proved correct when her gift for bruce was Bat-related. It was an anklet that had several cartoonish bats on it. Adriane didn't know why Bruce would like it but, she decided to trust that her magic knew what it was doing.
Adriane wondered if she should get more things related to the bat-family for them, they must really like the heroes. Everyone reading this can facepalm for her obliviousness.
For Alfred, Adriane had got a simple silver ring that had engravings of Lily's on it. Adriane figured that he must have been close with her Mom.
Adriane left the Jewelry store after paying for everything and decided to take a small walk around the mall. Spotting a clothing store that had some cute Christmas-themed clothes she walked in. She managed to buy herself a couple of new dresses, shirts, skirts, and some snow boots. Adriane also got herself a new coat in that store.
She also picked up some things for her friends while there before heading back to her hotel room to drop everything off. After dropping everything off she started enchanting all of the Jewelry she had bought.
By the time she was done all the Jewelry was charmed to the nines. If the person wearing it was about to drink something that had poison or something dangerous in it then the Jewelry would heat up. They were charmed to protect them from projectiles and magic.
Adriane also made it so if they needed to disguise the jewelry in any way they could. She put notice-me-not charm on them that would only work when her family wanted them to.
Looking at the time she quickly wrapped the gifts and put name tags on them before she loaded them into her purse. Adriane was thankful she had got a bottomless and feather-light bag when she was in Daigan Alley.
Before she could leave Dobby popped in with a letter from Grinlast. Thanking him she took the letter and sat down to read it.
Dear Lady Adriane Kenna Dive Potter Gryffindor Ravenclaw Slytherin Emrys Black.
I thank you for notifying me of the issue regarding the unpaid loans for your Slytherin family account. Please know that as soon as I finished your letter I got several Goblins working on getting you, your money back.
I am proud of you for taking an interest in making sure all of your accounts have suitable incomes. Your instructions on buying out and distributing the percentages will be followed as you instructed.
The Goblin Nation is happy to help you fix up your homes, it will cost a bit but you have plenty to cover it. We shall get started right away.
Now your idea to turn Emrys Mannor into an orphanage for magical children. I do believe that can be done. We shall need time to make sure it is safe for children and to make an area in the woods that surround the manor for werewolf children but it can be done. I am assuming you wish us to hire some caretakers for the children and the manor.
We will start the interviewing process right away, we will employ half-bloods or Muggleborns for this job. We believe they will be able to better understand the children than a pureblood would.
I had sent out a team to take down the eyesore that is the Gaunt shack and they found some interesting things.
The Dark Lord Voldemort had hidden another Horcrux in the shack under the floorboards. He had enchanted the building and the ring itself to make sure it was protected.
Luckily no Goblins put the ring on, it had been charmed with a powerful withering curse that could be slowed but not stopped. We would have needed to cut off the Goblin's arm and to a Goblin that is sometimes worse than death.
We have now put the soul peace into a special device that will let us find any others that the Dark Lord may have laying around. We should have done this before but we had not known that this man would be idiotic enough to make more than one.

Adriane smiled when reading the response to her last letter before frowning when she got to the end. How many of those things did that bastard create? This is probably why he's so insane, honestly splitting your soul? That's so insane that even most villains would hesitate at the idea of those soul containers.
Shaking her head, Adriane folded up the letter and put it in the secret part of her trunk before getting ready to leave. Adriane wanted to finish her story today so Clark could start teaching her about the powers they shared.
Grabbing her new coat she left the hotel and went to Lois's apartment.
The apartment
As soon as everyone had sat down Adriane continued her story.
"The Bank gave me a device that makes others see the boy me whenever I have it activated. This way, no one can know that I've broken my chains. I don't want to risk anyone I don't trust finding out before I can leave Hogwarts for the last time."
"If Dumbledore found out I knew and had broken free before I left, he would do everything he could to control me again. The wizarding world looks at him like he's merlin incarnated."
"This means that they normally don't believe anything bad about Dumbledore, anyways I got carried away. The Goblins gave me the device, it looks like a simple non-magical watch, it has a button on the side that turns the glamour on and off."
"The next thing to happen was the weighing of the wands, it was to make sure our wands were working correctly. Sadly the professors and ministry personnel decided to invite a reporter to the event."
Lois raised an eyebrow, wondering what was wrong with reporters. Adriane noticed but just continued without addressing Lois.
"Normally that would be fine if the newspaper was respectful. Sadly it was mostly a gossip rag. Their main reporter is a bitch, she uses a special green quill that writes down whatever it wants. If you say something the quill will just write down something else."
"This reporter used this quill when interviewing me, it wrote down several things that I never said, it literally wrote down that I was 12, not 14! Luckily someone bought a lot of shares in the newspaper, controlling shares, so now the newspaper has to do whatever the owner says."
"They now have to prove that any story they want to post is true with facts to back them up. Like any good newspaper should."
Clark smiled at Adriane amused. "I'm gussing that you're the owner now?" Adriane laughed and nodded, "You would be right."
Adriane continued with a slight smile. "After that came the first task, we had to find a way to get past nesting mother dragons, the most dangerous dragons out there."
Lois interrupted her, Lois's eyes were wide. "Wait, you mean to tell us that those idiots had children fight dragons for entertainment? Are they insane? Even us non-magicals know that dragons are dangerous!"
"Yeah they did, there were four different types of dragon breeds. They had us draw small toy dragons to see who would go first and which dragon they would get. Cedric the Hufflepuff champion went first, he turned a rock into a dog to distract the dragon, it worked but he got badly burnt when the dragon noticed him by her nest."
"Next up was my friend Fleur, she's half veela and tried using the special powers that give her to put the dragon to sleep. It worked but the dragon snorted fire in its sleep and set fire to her skirt."
"After Fleur was Victor Krum, he cast a spell at the dragon to blind it. It caused it so much pain that it stumbled around, accidentally smashing it's real eggs in the proccess."
Adriane held back her tears at the thought of the unneeded death that had been caused that day.
"Next was me, I drew the most dangerous dragon there is. I summoned my broom and flew around trying to distract the dragon just enough to give me a chance to grab the golden egg. Sadly someone hadn't been careful when chaining the dragon up, this meant that the chains broke and it started chasing me around."
Lois gasped and grabbed Clark's arm.
"I quickly flew my broom towards the school and led the dragon on a merry goose chase, eventually things happened and I needed to punch the dragon in the nose, breaking it. Unluckily the dragon hit me in the shoulder with it's tail and hurt me, I now have a scar on my shoulder from it."
Clark was worried, "It hurt you that easily?"
Lois turned to Clark, "Clark, dragons are magic, you and Kara are weak to magic remember? Since Adriane is part Kryptonian then doesn't it make sense that she's slightly weak to magic too? Spells might not affect her like you and Kara, probably because she's magical too, but magical animals can hurt her."
Adriane was curious. "Kryptonians are weak to magic? That makes sense, honestly, this is the reason why I came to meet with you two so early. Originally I was planning to come and meet you during summer but after being so easily hurt by the dragon I realized that I needed to know more about Kryptonians besides their history. I have no clue what most powers they have, I know we're stronger under a yellow sun but that's about all."
Clark looked thoughtful before getting up, "I need to go do something, come back here in two and I'll take you to someplace where I can safely teach you about our powers, I don't know how your other sides will react with your Kryptonian side but hopefully teaching you won't be hard. How long do you have until you need to go back to your school?"
"I need to be there on the 4th next month, I know it's not much time but it's all I have." Adriane was apologetic when explaining that she was needed back at school in less than two weeks. She got up to leave before remembering the presents and turned back to Clark.
"Since you know my Cousin and his family, could you please deliver some of the presents I bought for them tonight? I enchanted them for their protection since they're targeted so often. Each present contains a paper with a list of enchantments and charms on the gift."
Clark hummed before nodding, "Yes I can deliver your gifts for you. Would you prefer to deliver them yourself?" Adriane quickly shook her head. "I'll meet them this summer, I just want to focus on making sure I have enough knowledge of myself to make sure I know how to keep myself safe."
Adriane took out the wrapped gifts and handed them to Clark before leaving.
Clark stared at the many boxes in his hand with a raised eyebrow. "I think she included Alfred in the gifts too, don't you?" Lois giggled in her hand before nodding, "I think so. That's so sweet of her."
"I bet Bruce will be happy to have something from his cousin for Christmas tomorrow." Clark chuckled before quickly flying to Bruce's manor to drop off the Gifts and explain who they were from. Lois was right, Bruce was touched and happy that Adriane had got something for his family. Clark also handed over the third recording of Adriane explaining things.
Clark explained that it would be the last recording since Adriane had finished her story. He advised Bruce to make sure to have practice dummies around to take his anger and fear out on, while listening to it before he flew away.
