You know I always thought that Kryptonians weren't necessarily weak against magic they were just not resistant against it like they are to conventional force. Thus they take the same effect as an unprotected human would.

Me: That's a nice idea, I just made them weak in my story because that's both what I remember hearing and from what I saw when looking it up. From the small bit, I read it said that Magic is even more effective against superman than kryptonite.

Any superman fans please forgive me if this is wrong, I'm more of a batman fan than superman.

I've really loved this story so far! It's an idea I haven't read in the ridiculous amounts of fanfics I have read before. I can't wait for the next chapter to come out so I can see what happens next. I can't wait till we start getting involved in some DBZ-related stuff. Keep up the good work!

Ok, I have just read everything and had to tell you that this harry seems to OP, and frankly, I have no idea of how you are going to miz DBZ universe, (the DC one seems pretty thin stretched as is now) but anyway, is good work and I love to see more of it.

Me: I don't think Adriane is any more OP than Superman or Goku themselves tbh. Yeah things might take some work to make the different worlds work.

Now onto the story! This time, Adriane finally gets to work on the Golden egg.

Before Adriane went to bed she remembered that she still needed to translate the golden egg and sighed. She got out the egg and set it on her side table for her to work on in the morning.

After she got up she spent several hours trying to figure out what the egg was supposed to say. That was until she realized something, she couldn't have help from the teachers, judges, or the headmasters/headmistress of the three schools but she could still have help from people outside of those people.

She smirked before she wrote a letter to Grinlast,

Dear Grinlast

I have recently come to a realization, I am not able to get help with any of the tasks for this tournament from the teachers, judges, or the headmasters/headmistress but the rules never stated that I could not have help from others.

I would like to ask if the Goblin nation would be able to translate the screeching that is coming from the Golden egg. If the Goblin nation is able to help then they may keep the egg itself and take the rest of the fee needed from my vaults.

I am not sure how pure the gold the egg is made out of is but I do hope it is enough to help pay for the help asked for.

Now onto business, I have acquired several house-elves, I have instructed Winky to teach them how to sew almost anything. People seem to underestimate house-elves to the point where they do not realize how fast they learn things nor how fast they can truly work.

I gave one of my head elves, Winky, several different sketches last night and already I have 100 of each different sketch, I have heard that now the elves are working on different colors for each sketch as well. By the time the store opens, we should have enough clothes to keep it well stocked.

I am also always on the lookout for more elves and according to Dobby, all elves know that if they are freed then they can come to me for a job no matter what caused them to be let go from their last family.

Speaking of Dobby, I will have him pop the egg over if you agree to my idea, please respond right after reading this letter so I can send the egg to you right away if you agree.

Adriane double-checked her letter before she had Dobby pop it to Gringotts, she got up to stretch while holding back a yawn, it was getting late but she needed to stay up until Dobby came back with a response.

Half an hour later, just when Adriane's eyes were about to close and her body force her to go to sleep, Dobby popped into the room causing her to jump.

"Dobby is sorry Miss Adriane! Yous be telling Dobby to bring you letter back right away!"

Adriane took the letter, "Thanks Dobby, please wait until I read this for my next instructions."

I am impressed at the loophole you have found in the rules of the tournament. You are correct that it is not against the rules to ask for help from the Goblin nation, I brought your question to the king and he agreed that this would be well worth the entertainment that would happen if anyone asks you how you figured out the clue.

Please send the Golden egg and we will translate what it says to English, we will also let you know what the original language was so you might learn it in the future.

We will take a small fee from your vault, the size of the fee will depend on how pure the golden egg is.

Regarding your house elves, I am finding myself impressed at your foresight and your idea on how to stock your stores quickly enough that it is ready to open as soon as it is finished being built. I must admit that not even I would have thought to have the clothing be made by House-elves.

Adriane smiled tiredly as she told Dobby to take the Golden egg to the Goblins before she finally started to get ready for bed, she needed her sleep.

Two days later

Adriane had spent the last few days studying, she had realized that she was neglecting her magical studies. Sure, the reason she neglected them was because she was focusing more on learning about her birth parents and her own weaknesses.

She had just sat down in a chair in the chamber when Dobby popped in with another letter.

We have done as asked and translated the noise from the Golden egg, it was mermish. As you might know, mermaid singing cannot be heard above water, or else it sounds like screeching. The exact kind of noise that was coming from the egg.

Luckily the egg was enough to cover your fee for asking us to translate it for you.

We sent a second page containing the riddle.

Adriane frowned, it seemed pretty self-explanatory but she would work through it anyway to make sure she didn't miss anything.

She already knew from Hagrid that there was a mermaid colony in the black lake. She groaned when she realized what that bit meant, who the hell decided that sending people into the black lake in February was a good idea? The first thing she was going to need was some scuba gear that she was going to charm the fuck out of to make sure she stayed nice and warm.

She shook her head and focused back on the poem.

Adriane didn't like the idea that the tournament people could just steal what she loved most from her. She also had a bad feeling building up.

Adriane stared at the page in shock, were these people serious? If they even tried to take something she cared about she would sue them all so hard! Sure she could replace a lot of things but-wait, why would the poem make it seem so important that they get their item before an hour was up if they could just replace almost any of the items taken unless they held emotional value?

No, they wouldn't would they? Adriane narrowed her eyes, oh they would. Those bastards were going to take people not items! Adriane had a feeling that they would use one of the idiotic trio for her but just in case she would going to have all of her close friends stay in the chamber with her.

Dobby had recently told her that the chamber couldn't be accessed by any elves unless someone had called them from inside it, or if their master/mistress was in it.

Adriane grabbed her purse and had Dobby pop her over to somewhere that sold diving suits and everything else she would need. She grabbed seven diving suits, several breathing masks, several sets of flippers, and anything else she needed before paying.

As soon as they were back at the chamber she got to work charming the hell out of everything. She would have her friends and Fluer's sister wear the diving suits under their clothes from now on until the task was over. She knew that Fluer wouldn't be taken since she was another champion but she would feel better if she wore one too.

Adriane would make sure to explain what the suits were for and that she would feel safer and more relaxed if Fluer wore them during the task as well.

If anything happened to any of her friends because of this stupid tournament then fuck keeping her being free a secret, she would use her fucking heat vision on the people who designed the second task. She would wait until they were alone, use her super speed, zap them and then rush back to someplace where several people could vouch for her that she was there the entire time.

Adriane at this moment could sympathize with people who turned evil because of other people, she would still protect people though, she would probably never truly kill someone unless it was life or death but it didn't stop her from daydreaming.

The next day

The next day, after she had finished charming everything, she invited her small group of friends to the ROR. She had told them that it was important so after class the five rushed to the ROR concerned.

Soon enough they were all sitting down in a small living area the ROR had created for Adriane that morning. "I have something important to say, I know what the second task will be."

Fred and George looked happy along with Neville, Luna kept her dreamy smile up but Fluer looked concerned, "Should you be telling me this? I have not yet figured out my clue yet."

Adriane held up a hand and looked at Fluer with the most serious face any of them had ever seen on her before. "What I'm about to say is important and you need to hear it Fluer."

Fluer shut her mouth and nodded, still looking a bit concerned.

"I figured out a loophole in the tournament rules." The twins perked up, they loved finding loopholes in rules. "The rules say you cannot ask for help from teachers, the judges, or our headmasters and headmistriss right?"

Her friends nodded, that was one of the more important rules of the entire tournament.

"Well," Adriane smirked, "It said nothing about asking the Goblins to help you."

There was silence before Fred and George started laughing, Nevill chuckled, and Luna hummed happily. Fluer stared at Adriane surprised, "I never would have thought about that!" Adriane smiled at her before she frowned.

"Now here's the serious bit, I'm going to tell you the translated clue."

Fluer frowned, "So they will be stealing from us?" She felt unnerved when Adriane sighed, "I have a theory that they won't take an object but a person."

Everyone in the room froze, and Fluer's eyes went wide. "My sister! They're take my sister!" Adriane reached out and grabbed Fluer's hands. "Hey! Fluer you need to calm down, we'll figure something out. I already have an idea!"

Fluer forced herself to calm, nodding at Adriane who slowly released her hands and sat back. "Tell me about this idea to keep my sister safe."

"I've recently figured out that house-elves can access the chamber of secrets unless called or their mistress or master is in it. This means we could all sneak down to the chamber the day before the task, your sister included and make it so no one can reach us before the task starts."

Fluer relaxed and nodded, it was a decent idea. Adriane sighed, "I also have something for each of you just in case someone does take one of you. It's a muggle deep-diving suit, it's supposed to keep you warm while in the deep deaphs of the ocean, I also charmed it to hell and back to keep you safe and warm."

"I got one for me, Fluer, and her sister too. Fluer it would make me feel better if you wore the suit instead of a simple swimsuit, the suit will give you more protection not to mention warmth."

"Before you say no please keep in mind, This task involves us diving into the black lake in feburary, it is going to be freazing cold and you could really sick."

Fluer closed her mouth from where she had been about to deny the suit and sulked, when faced with that bit of Logic she couldn't say no. Not if she wanted her sister to wear the suit just in case something did happen.
