Events in life are confusing
They often will dull and blur
That seems to be universal
On which everyone can concur
It is easy to become angry
Then issue an insult or slur
The words can sting like a thorn
Or a jab from a sharp spur
Kind words can make one happy
It will make them playful and purr
That's a surer way to a heart
That's something everyone can infer
Of life's many choices
There is always something one will prefer
The only trouble with that
