(Following up from last chapter)

Trick tower/ ? hallway/ Emerald, Pitou, Chala, Bruno, Lillum

The scene now showed the group from last chapter as they walked deeper into Trick tower… thanks to how the halls wound and what not, some wondered if they were going in circles… but thankfully they found a doorway of sorts and when they entered they were surprised to see the others like Shunpei, Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, Tigra, Killua, Cedric, Azure, and Tonpa from a different hall entirely.

"Huh… hey guys seems like many of us made it." Emerald said getting everyone elses attention as Gon grins.

"Hehe yup… though we don't know where Gleeco is though, we never found him on our end." Gon said while Emerald shrugged.

"Nowhere on our end where we came from, we may either meet up with them later or not if they got killed in some kind of trap by trying to rush through things." Emerald said while he could care less if Gleeco lived or died.

Still this did mean that there were 14 people in the room, and much more than 5 in canon so…

"Well that's a shame, since now it means we have to change things up for the rooms ahead." A voice over the speakers said, making everyone jolt.

"What?... who said that?" Emerald said while a nearby speaker emits a voice.

"I'm a person in charge of trick tower called Lippo… currently you all found yourselves in a room called the Majority choice type room… however even with us taking into account for many of you appearing, we were only able to give well… if you look on a nearby table you'll understand." The proctor Lippo said making everyone blink before they look around and saw a stone table with 7 wristband like items on top.

"As you can see if you look closely, there is not only a sign nearby but the wristbands have an X and O on them… this is where the majority choice comes in… either hit O for yes and X for no for example… anyway since there are… 1,2… 14 of you… nuff said you'll be pairing up and the leader of the duo will be the vote caster while their partner will be helping them decide and stuff… anyway once you all pair up and what not, we can start, if you look to a nearby door with a sign that will appear from a hidden wall, you'll see that unless everyone, or at least 7 gets the bracelets, the door will not open." Lippo said while many put on bracelets… Emerald, Pitou, Kurapika, Chala, Tonpa, Tigra, and Azure put on bracelets while Lillum looks at Azure.

"You're wearing the bracelet?" Lillum said while Azure gave Lillum a raised eyebrow.

"Got a problem with that?" Azure said while Lillum shook her head.

"N-No no no!... was just curious, figured your boyfriend would take it." Lillum said while Cedric shrugged.

"Eh Azure is the brains between us, I normally handle the muscle, don't get me wrong, I can think when it counts, its just she is better for brainy stuff than I am." Cedric said while he shrugged his shoulders.

"OK… well since all of us have the bracelets, who is partnered with who?" Emerald asked while some look thoughtful.

"Oh I have suggestions." Pitou said when she smiles as the others look at her.

"Really?" Gon asked while Pitou grins and well…

Thanks to one of them having a pen and paper, Pitou wrote a list out.

"Now then here are my picks for people without bands to team up with people." Pitou said when she puts names next to the names in the list.

"Interesting picks for combos." Emerald said while Pitou held a finger up.

"Aside people we are used to, there is a method to my madness for some… for me and Shunpei, I'll let him make a choice mainly and I'll pick the answer he picks to keep things simple and keep him calm since he can get nervous easily… Kurapika and Leorio… hehe, well they are like a slapstick duo that I couldn't break up… Chala is normally watched by Bruno so he shouldn't argue with her choices unless its a really bad idea, someone needs to keep an eye on Tonpa so why not the religious Lillum… besides she could use some adorable looks to get Tonpa hot under the collar if he tries to cause issues so double meaning there, Killua with Tigra since she is his guardian of sorts here, and well… unless Azure is willing to break up with Cedic partner wise, hard to say that they would be broken up… so in a nutshell unless you want to try and keep Shunpei calm Emerald I don't mind trading partners since Gon is a mannered kid." Pitou said while she smiles as Emerald rubs his head while Gon blushed from the compliment and chuckles a little.

"Hehe, well I'm not complaining." Gon said as Leorio had a twitching eyebrow.

"Speak for yourself, since when are we a slapstick duo?" Leorio said while he points at himself and Kurapika.

"Well I for one don't mind since it means if you make a bad choice, can just point out flaws." Kurapika said while Leorio looks at him with a frown.

"What!?" Leorio said with a comically angered face making a few sweatdrop from this.

"Eh just deal with it for now, once we are out of here we can split up if you want." Cedric said while reminding many that this was only a temp thing while Leorio grumbles.

"Hmmm… fine…" Leorio said while Pitou smiles.

"Well why not swap a bit if your that against it… can do the same with others if you want." Pitou said while Leorio blinks as Killua grins.

"Hehe, well why not let me and Gon team up." Killua said while Tigra shrugged.

"Fair enough, try and not get upset with Killua Gon if he says anything annoying." Tigra said while Killua had a twitching eyebrow.

"Oi!" Killua said while Tigra giggles as she moved from Killua after passing him the wristband and moved to get near Emerald while Gon grins as he moved to high five Killua.

"Hehe… looks like its you and me here." Tigra said while Emerald blushed from how close Tigra was.

"Y-Yeah…" Emerald said as Pitou giggles while Leorio looked around to many besides Tonpa to see if he could trade places… he looks at Shunpei who jolts though when he saw Leorio look at him and Leorio moved to grip him on the shoulders.

"Hey Shunpei trade with me, I'm not the slapstick guy of the group right?" Leorio said while he grins at Shunpei eagerly… though… his jaw dropped when Shunpei looks away nervously making Leorio look stunned as Pitou pats Leorio on the back… looks like the groups were as followed now…

Once the list was made officially and everyone who had watches pressed a button to signal they were the holders and had partners, a hidden door opened to show which way the group would walk.

Though they would go through it if there wasn't a choice on the door already.

O for Open and X for not to open…

Leorio raised an eyebrow.

"Seriously?... pretty sure if we want out of here the choice should be obvious…" Leorio said Kurapika as he hit O but nothing happened.

"What!?" Leorio said while he hits the button on his own but Kurapika chimes in.

"Pretty sure both holder and wristband holder need to agree and times that by 7 for each group here." Kurapika said while Leorio grumbles.

"Well who would pick X with all of us here?" Leorio said as the groups took a moment to agree and everyone hit O…. no X this time in canon since even if Tonpa wanted to mess with everyone, without Lillum's agreement, no use for him to try anything.

Thanks to this with the group having a comical moment when they had trouble picking a direction to go in and the group found themselves in front of a large chasm with a large arena like structure and… 7 people in cloaks on the other end.

"Nya?... who are they?" Pitou asked while she looks confused when the cloaks covered all 7 peoples faces… they had cuff like bangles on their wrists as well besides one who removed their cloak to show a scarred bald man who was the third tallest of the group.

"We are the Jurors for the trial commission… our mission is to fight against you… the matches are one on one and can only fight once, for each of you with a wristband, you or your partner can only be used once, after you or your partner fight, the tag team won't be able to fight in a future match!... if I haven't said it the order of passage is free!... you'll need 5 of 7 victories to go on!" The bald scarred man said as the others look surprised.

The bald scarred man than continues.

"The rules are simple!... everything is allowed and there is no time limit, the defeat of one means the victory of his opponent… You only have to accept his Trial of not, O if you accept, X if you refeuse." The Bald man shouts over the pit with the stage in the center as Leorio looks surprised.

"What!?... we still have to choose!?" Leorio said… and this results in many looking surprised when Tonpa went first of all people.

Though when the Bald man went first and started the match…

"I QUIT!" Tonpa yelled after getting on his hands and knees.

"Huh?... he… said I quit right?" Gon said while everyone else looks shocked showing that this wasn't a dream like Kurapika thought.

After this and some argument from some like Leorio and Tonpa arguing with Leorio getting onto Tonpa with Tonpa talking about how he didn't want to be a hunter…

Well… funnily enough after Kurapika found out that they were just slowing things down to keep the group from passing…

"Well if all they wanted to do was slow us down and lose time the old guy did well honestly." Killua said making Emerald blink.

"Huh?... whatchu talking about?" Emerald asled while Killua looks at the bald man.

"Well the Guy looks well trained… maybe Ex-soldier or something like that, He would have surely fought by hitting you to keep you from quitting and he would have done aas he wished to but he would surely have tortured you without killing you until the time ends." Killua said while Pitou hums.

"Indeed… and if he happened to be also trained in medicine or at the very least know how the human body works, he could have made that torture extra effective… accupunture, pressure points, martial arts that use the limits of the human body to its max… nya can go on… but point is if he wanted to… could have used many ways to make it so you stay alive… but… you would have wished you would have been dead if he kept on doing things like that for many days straight." Pitou said while she scratched her cheek as Tonpa pales profusely.

"T-T-That's w-what I was thinking about… t-too… so…" Tonpa said as many gave him half lidded looks while sweatdropping since this give up could have been a blessing in disguise.

Still this results in Gon wanting to go next but Killua bonked him on the head.

"Hey you forget we are a pair man?... if you win or lose I won't be able to fight… lets at least see who the enemy will pick next before you blow our chances." Killua said as a prisoner walked onto the arena and removed their cloak to show a rather… weak looking frail man compared to the rest of the prisoners.

"Huh?... he looks really… weak…" Killua said when he didn't expect that as Chala held a hand up.

"Why not let Bruno or I go first?" Chala said while others look at her.

"Really?... you sure about that?... he may look weak bu-!" Emerald tried to say as Chala looks amused as she placed a finger on his lips.

"Remember what I really am?" Chala said before looking at Bruno who nods as he gestured for Chala to go ahead and she moved to get in the ring while the thin looking man, a guy named Sedokan, a prisoner with 149 years of imprisonment and he had a profession as a bomber was seen near Chala while she stands before her.

"Hello there, as you can see I'm not a fighter, hitting, running, jumping, those things… not really my style." Sedokan said while Chala hums.

"Really?... well if your the brainy chiminal type I don't mind not fighting so if you have a suggestion for an alternate way to pass win or lose, may as well hear it." Chala said while she smiles at Sedokan.

"Well lucky for us I prepared a simple game to keep the time short." Sedokan as he pulled out two candles and this results in Chala pretty much taking Gon's place in the Candle game and as it bursts into a stronger flame… she did freak out from the sudden flare but hums as she looks at Sedokan.

"Hey just to check… anything goes as long as the flame goes out right?" Chala asked as she sets the candle down carefully and picks up a small rock.

"Hmm?... yes but if you think hitting me with a-!" Sedokan said as Chala threw the rock with blistering force and pretty much blew outt he flame with the rock flying by with wind pressure being made as a result while many had wide eyes as a large crack formed near the chriminals side of the entryway making many get dropped jaws as Chala smiles and walked back to the others with her giving a peace sign for victory as those like Leorio and Gon cheered for her.

"HAHA!... we got our first win!" Gon said while Leorio grins.

"Good job Chala!, if we keep this up, we can count on the stronger people here to get victories and we can surely pass." Leorio said while Chala rejoined the others and high fived Pitou who grins at the disguised female fox bear.

Still this results in one win, one loss, so there would be a third round, this results in Kurapika looking at the others.

"I'll be going next." Kurapika said while Leorio looks at him.

"What!?... we got a combo thing, why should I let you take my turn." Leorio said while Kurapika gave him a half lidded look.

"First, if you fight and somehow win, unlikely given your not exactly a fighter, I won't be able to do anything and two… out of the two of us… who do you think has a better chance at fighting if we had to fight a murder crazed person on the other end?" Kurapika said while Pitou looks at Leorio.

"I suggest letting Kurapika go Leorio… that Candle guy feels the least threatening of the group." Pitou said while she gave Leorio a serious look now.

"Though if you are willing to fight to the death and risk getting tortured till the time runs out, I don't mind since its YOUR choice… but will you be able to handle it if things go bad?" Pitou said with a serious and cold look in her eyes making Leorio shudder.

"H-Hehe… hehehe… w-well guess I have no choice but to let Kurapika go ahead… m-may as well save my strength for the future rooms." Leorio said while Tonpa smirks from how amused he was at how pale Leorio looks while Kurapika sighs.

"Right… anyway while we… save Leorio's strength for a potentially more dangerous situation… I'll make the next prisoner." Kurapika said though when the next prisoner get on stage… well the prime definition of ugly and bulky came from the cloak he wore and he had 19 hearts on his left pec and well… frankenstein was the best way to describe the guy… not insulting Frankenstein himself… guy looks good in some franchises… but this guy in the arena looked like his face was pushed through a blender AFTER he got his teeth knocked out of his mouth in large quantities and had various items blended with his head.

"Uhhh… have you seen the head and body of this guy?" Leorio asked while the man points at the hearts on his chest.

"Hehe… I've already killed 19 people but… that was annoying because its not a good number… so I'm happy…" The prisoner said while he grins darkly as Kurapika got on the arena floor.

As this happened and the guy talked to Kurapika about threats and rules for a pure hand to hand deathmatch unless one of them gives up, Emerald looks at Pitou.

"Hey Pitou… how dangerous is that guy for Kurapika." Emerald asked while Pitou hums.

"Hmmm… would say easy win for Kurapika.. As long as he doesn't get hit by that right arm… I smell a metallic sent from here." Pitou said before she used Dr. Blythe without many aside Aura users, Emerald more or less with Pitou to examine the blue skinned prisoner.

"From the slight indent in his hand… I would say he has some kind of metallic implant in his fist near his knuckles or replaced them… either that or artificial bones that won't break from a great impact… may not be able to use it many times though since strong bones or not, there are muscles and skin the guy has to worry about…" Pitou said surprising many.

"Than again…" Pitou said making many blink when they look at her.

"Than again?" Gon asked as Pitou had a closed eye look with a cat like smile but she sweatdrops.

"Given how… worked on he is… I doubt he would stop after one punch or two… guy could get off on pain for all we know." Pitou said making many blink.

"U-Uhhh right…" Leorio said while Kurapika sweatdrops when he bearly heard that as the man, known as Majtani, blinks when he saw many of the Hunters to be look off.

"Huh?... What are they talking about and why are they looking at me like that?" Majtani said as Kurapika sweatdrops.

"Nothing… lets just get started." Kurapika said after he tossed his pancho like outfit and his wooden blades away when he agreed to the hand to hand only deathmatch unless one gave up.

Majtani grins when he starts the fight and like usual, he punched the ground HARD and smashed his fist well into the ground while cracking the arena a bit while Kurapika jumped away… however… many had wide eyes when they saw a Spider tattoo on his back.

"N-No way!... a black spider tattoo…" Leorio said.

"Isn't they tattoo of the…" Emerald said while he looks shocked while Pitou frowns.

"A Fake most likely… I traveled a it and heard that all the Spiders have numbers on their tattoos…" Pitou said though Majtani getting confused and alarmed when he looks at Kurapika did get people's attention.

"H-Hey… what is that?" Majtani said though Kurapika moved with speeds only Emerad, Gon, Pitou, Tigra, and Killua could keep up with and smashed Majitani into the ground with a devastating right fist downwards… pretty much TKOing the guy more or less in one shot… or killing him worst case senario when Majtani just laid on the ground unmoving.

After Kurapika came back to the others when he tries to calm himself, many look nervous as Shunpei gulps.

"A-Are you OK… like can we approach you?" Shunpei asked before Leorio could while he held his Katana carefully as Kurapika sighs.

"My apologies… I got since the beginning I didn't risk anything when I fought him… I also knew the tattoo was an imitation but after seeing that spider… I just saw everything in red… in fact… this happens everytime I see a simple spider, I lose my mind and become unrecognizable in rage… this certainly means that all my hatred haven't gone away… and I should rather be delighted…" Kurapika said while many sweatdrop as Gon whispered to Leorio.

"We're gonna avoid showing him spiders aren't we?" Gon whispered while Leorio agreed to hide spiders from Kurapika while the prisoners were looking at one another as one hooded figure, a female spoke up when the bald headed prisoner spoke to the others.

"Let me go!... I have my own idea on the question." The femenine figure said with a hidden smirk on their face.

Thanks to this, when Leorio looks at the arena, he saw Majtani in a knocked out state still.

"Hey, the guy lost the round, hurry and move him so we can get to the next round." Leorio said as the female prisoner sounds amused.

"Hehe… sorry but thats not possible… after all… the match never ended." The female prisoner said confusing many.

"What?" Leorio said while the prisoner starts walking on the arena and checked in on Majtani.

She than stands.

"He only fainted, he picked a Deathmatch and the combat should have lasted till one died or he or that boy surrended and last I checked no one surrendered and Majtani isn't dead." The prisoner said while Leorio looked irked.

"Good grief… well Kurapika may as well end it and give him one final shot." Leorio said but…

"No." Kurapika said while surprising Leorio before Kurapika went on about not hitting a knocked out man.

After a moment.

"If he regains consciousness though we can talk about it again… but don't count on me doing more until than." Kurapika said with finality in his voice as Killua walked to him.

"If you want I can kill him for you, you've never killed anyone have you?" Killua said before he looks thoughtful.

"You scared?" Killua asked while this results in everyone talking and going against Leorio on killing Majtani… though after MUCH time passing someone looks at Majtani.

"Hey… is he dead?" Shunpei asked while he rubs his head thoughtfully when Majtani wasn't moving at all.

This made many look at Majtani as Pitou hums.

"Well considering things may as well check…" Pitou said while she looks over the pit with the arena in the middle."

"Hey I want to check to see if the knocked out guy is actually knocked out or dead… you say he is knocked out but thats just your word… and being a prisoner… not exactly reliable… I want to make a deal with a bet with time on the line." Pitou said while the female prisoner smirks.

"Alright… what do you bet?" The prisoner said while she looks at Pitou.

"I bet 10 hours he's alive." Pitou said while she saw a bridge open when the prisoner looks at the Camera nearby and nods her head.

Pitou stepped on the arean while the female prisoner did the same as Pitou did an examination of Majtani for a moment.

"Hmmm… he is alive definitely with him having a pulse…" Pitou said while she examines Majtani's good eye for a moment before she looks at the prisoner.

"Definitly not dead." Pitou said while her cat ears twitch a bit.

This then went on with the bets to see what would happen between Pitou and the prisoner when Pitou was knelt next to Majtani.

"So whats the next bet?" The female Prisoner said when Pitou smirks.

"I bet 20 hours of our time he is actually awake." Pitou said while the female prisoner hums.

"Really?... even if he is alive, what if he is just unconscious… he did take a powerful blow to the head so he may have a concussion or is in a coma." The prisoner said while Pitou smirks.

"Simple… I know a simple method that will wake him if he is unconscious or not… after all if I'm wrong you get 20 hours from us, if we win, we get a win since it shows this man is awake and can give up… or he could try and take Kurapika on again… his choice… but if your just trying to stall for time… well we should have a right to at least check to see if your playing games with us.." Pitou said while she flipped Majtani onto his fron for some reason.

"Huh?... what are you doing?" The female prisoner said while Pitou moved to a bag on her side she got when she made it recently and pulls out some items… a pair of custom rubber gloves… and lube.

"Uh… seriously what are you doing?" The female prisoner said as Pitou smirks.

"Why a prostate exam of course… if I'm checking on this man's health may as well make sure he is not suffering from something else." Pitou said while she applied lube to her hands, mainly around her fingers as the female prisoner blinks.

"H-Huh?... how will that check to see if he is awake or not?" She asked while Pitou smirks.

"Well can you keep asleep or fake a knocked out state if you have a finger shoved up your ass?" Pitou asked while all the males, prisoners or not, covered their asses while on Majtani's area…

"W-What!?... is she really going to do that!?... I'm only pretending to stay passed out, I can't withstand a exam like that!... seriously do something!" Majtani mentally begged as Pitou moved to pull the back of the *Knocked* out prisoners pants down slowly as Majtani sweats profusely.

"Wait." The female prisoner said as Pitou looks at her.

"Yes?" Pitou asked when she was dangerously close to poking Majtani's cherry.

"Considering the invasiveness without consent… I want to make a bet of 40 hours to show that he will wake soon so you don't poke him." The female prisoner said while Pitou smirks.

"Alright, lets see if he wakes before I give him a prostate exame right… about…" Pitou said and as Pitou's index finger drew close to Majtani's ass cheeks, he quickly pulled himsefl away and pulled is pants up fast while having a panicked look.

"H-Hey I'm awake!... no need to poke my backside like that!... I surrender I surrender!" Majtani said as Pitou looks amused as Majtani ran away from Pitou as fast as he could.

"Well your energetic… very well you win the bet miss Prisoner… 40 hours for you but we win the round with Kurapika and that man." Pitou said while the female prisoner sweatdrops when Pitou didn't look too upset as Pitou removed her gloves.

"Will say this though, you prisoners better get a prostate exam or something… that guy with blue skin didn't look too healthy around his backide sooo… could be nothing, could be something…. Anyway considering were still here and stuff, want to continue the bets?" Pitou said as the time between the groups now 70 to 30 since Pitou won the bet with Majtani being alive instead of Leorio making that bet in canon.

This is when the female prisoners binds fell away and she removed the cloak on her head showing a beautiful looking face, she had pink wild looking hair, magenta eyes, had an angular face and yellow ribbons making her hair look to be in two wild pigtails and two long bangs were hanging on the sides of her face, without the hood she had a slender figure and Pitou licks her lips when she eyed her as the prisoner smirks at Pitou.

"First off, I should give you my name, It's Leroute… and my next bet… its pretty simple… I bet 10 hours on if I'm male or female…" Leroute said with a foreboding if beautiful smile but Pitou had her own foreboding smile as she summons Dr. Blythe as the scene fades to black.
