(From here on out, this story is now a full co-op)
Trick tower/ Arena/ Pitou, Emerald, Leorio, Tonpa, Lillum, Chala, Bruno, Shunpei, Tigra, Killua, Gon, Azure, Cedric, Kurapika, Various prisoners on opposite end
The scene now showed the group of Hunters to be as they were in a room cleaning up after their fun and stuff… separate from Gon and Killua and well…
"I cannot believe that just happened…" Leorio said while Pitou nearby smirks.
"What?... a near 5 hour sex-a-thon with me getting a sexy woman to visit daily now if I'm in the area and you all getting to have fun with a number of women during that wait we just had or the fact that I even lasted nearly 5 hours while only guys like Emerald and Bruno lasted long enough to keep up with me?" Pitou teased while she was drying her hair while she was in her normal outfit after getting out of a shower.
Leorio blushed from this since he was able to have some fun on his end so couldn't complain much…
Still considering that the fun was over it was back to the 1 on 1 with the various prisoners and after the group got clean and stuff,
And this showed with many on the Hunters side being back and the prisoners on the other side of the area.
"Will say this, was a good stress relief." Cedric said.
"No kidding…should do that again…just less with being on rocky floors." Azure said when she cracked her neck a couple times… fun was fun but need a bed next time if she did that again.
"True that. Now it's back to the challenges." Tigra said.
"Yeah, wonder who is next." Emerald said while a prisoner with a hood more or less had their manacles released and after pulling off their hood… Leorio looks shocked.
"What!?... OK not sure who is going next but if its against this guy I suggest any who goes in and pull a Tonpa and surrender!" Leorio said when he saw a tall stoic looking man with dirty blonde hair, piercing eyes, and the guy had abnormal veins on his arms and hands while some look confusingly at Leorio.
"Why's that?" Cedric said with a confused look.
"Because… thats Jones the Cutter… the greatest Murderer in all of The History of Zaban's criminality…" Leorio said as he looks at the group.
"This guy doesn't have a reason for his murders… age and sex doesn't matter… and at least 146 people have been reduced to shreds of flesh under his hands… some poor victims were cut into thousands of pieces… others partially amputated… some parts staying at crime scenes… other carried off… hell I even heard he even pulled out the heart of a still living 11 year old kid…in fact… the only common point between those bodies is that they were cut into at least 50 parts… in the best case… and this man… had always acted with only his hands!..." Leorio said before he took a breath as some like Lillum and Shunpei gulp from this as Leorio continues…
"When he was arrested… Jones didn't show resistance at all…however when the cop who made him enter his patrol car went to start it up… he realized what happened to his left arm…honestly its not sure how he did it but Jones ripped a chunk of flesh from the guys arm so large its a shocker that the cop didn't notice… or maybe his body went into shock and didn't feel the pain until the cop saw it… either way… his main thing is that he is able to pull out peoples flesh with his bare hands… if he is able to do that… its thanks to the extreme force in his fingers alone." Leorio said while he looks nervous… more so when many saw Jones grip a corner of the hallway wall leading to the walkway of the arena and from hearing things at least, or just wanting to show what he has for a moment as a warm up… the guy broke bare stone from the corner of the wall and not a small chunk… it was a large chunk and Jones crushed that large rock with only a simple grip of his hand.
Honestly for those like Pitou, Emerald, and others like Bruno, this didn't shock them much but for Shunpei and Lillum and Tonpa, they more or less look a bit sick by the story and seeing that just hammered in that this guy was abnormal.
"Y-Yeah… I would definitely quit right now to not face him." Shunpei said as he pales when seeing the murderer.
Killua on his end just looks amused and shocking many before they could stop him, he starts walking to the walkway.
"H-Hey!" Leorio tried to say as Killua waved a hand.
"Sorry Gon but I'll take this fight no arguments here…" Killua said when he walked over in a relaxed way towards the arena with Jones doing the same.
Gon was concerned.
"Can we do something?"
"No… its one one one…besides…" Pitou said as Emerald crossed his arms.
"From what I can see…" Emerald said as Jones and Killua talked for a moment and when the match started on a deathmatch… it ended in an ironic way with Killua moving with speeds only Pitou and Emerald could keep up with and maybe Cedric with his eyes following Killua with Tigra's eyes following while she smirks and well…many saw that in Killua's hand was Jone's heart while the guy was still living…and as Killua showed it to Jones making him panic… Killua crushed it in his hand as Emerald finished with an amused if surprised look while many others look shocked.
"...Killua seems to be fine if thats any indicator." Emerald said while Killua walked back after a moment of wiping his hand clean.
While most looks at Killua with shocked looks while Gon looks amazed since he knew some things as a reminder about Killua.
"Didn't even break a sweat." Killua said with a smirk.
"W-Where did he come from?" Leorio said as Gon blinks.
"Oh yeah… you guys don't know…" Gon said while he filled many in on who Killua and Tigra were since she was near him a lot.
"What!?... these two are part of an elite assassin family!?" Leorio said while Tigra and Killua looks amused by the surprised looks most had when they look at the duo.
"Well this one is, I'm an adopted guardian of sorts watching after this twerp here… still got work to do Killua…pops would have been able to do that stunt without having blood leak from the guy." Tigra said when she teased Killua a bit.
Killua eye twitches as Cedric was amused.
"Still not bad out there."
"Nyahaha… yeah honestly the way you bent your fingers and tensed your muscles in your hand was lightyears ahead of what that Jones guy could do…bet you used that heart thing as karma for that kid in Leorio's story huh?" Pitou said when she smirks at Killua while petting him on his head.
Killua blushes from that.
"Well… not one to kill and tell." He said.
"Hehe, well honestly if this is you as a kid and your old man can do that without blood… pretty sure you'll surpass him soon… still now that this happened, looks like you can't do anything Gon… looks like its me and Tigra next to decide who goes between us and Cedric and Azure here and for them to decide who goes next… hopefully we won't get a serial killer again… than again with this place having mostly killers…wishful thinking." Emerald said while he rubs his head as Gon blinks and remembers that since Killua went ahead, Gon couldn't take a turn at all in this contest now.
"Oh man!" Gon said while he looks dejected.
"Eh don't worry kid. You'll have a turn soon." Tonpa said.
"Yeah after these rounds since we only have two left before Majority choice again…pretty sure we will have to wait for awhile if the time taken from us is a penalty though." Killua said while he had his hands behind his head making many blink at this… unlike in canon with Leorio losing hours for the team against Leroute, now they had hours here making a slight divergence and given they won the fight with Jones thanks to Killua, lets just say that 20 hours were betted, since it was for a kill type match…so if the math was right… 45 to 55 in the Hunters to be's favor.
Cedric looks at Azure.
"Want me to go next Azure or do you want to?" Cedric said.
"Hmmm?... lets see who will go next first." Azure said while she smiles at Cedric lightly… made sense given that they didn't know who the two prisoners left here were.
Cedric smiles back.
"Fair enough." He said.
Emerald on his end looks at Tigra.
"Well guess Cedric and Azure are going first, want to decide who goes in the final round with rock paper scissors or want to fight and stuff?" Emerald said though he blinks when Tigra smirks and she rubs his clothed chest.
"Well… if I go in there, you may see the goods." Tigra said.
Emerald blushed from this.
"Uhhh…not sure what to say to not make me sound like a perv or insult you so… I'll let you go ahead if you want?" Emerald said while he shrugged his arms while he blushed more.
Tigra chuckles.
"Good choice. Later I'll give you a nice thanks." She said before winking at Emerald.
Emerald blushed more from this as Cedric looks at Azure with an amused look.
"Guess depending on who goes first… will see sexy ladies kick ass either way." Cedric said making Azure chuckle.
"Well guess Tigra and I should make it a good show…hmmm does give me an idea…" Azure said before she looks at the prisoners.
"Hey considering that we had five 1 on 1 fights before hand and since you guys and mainly the guy behind the camera watching to make sure the fights go well… why not make the last fight special and make it a tag match and end things?... 2 on 2 more or less." Azure said while she had a hand on her hip.
The prisoners did blinks at this before one of them smirks.
"Sound good to me." He said.
"Hehe, yeah… why not make it interesting brother…hey you two bitches…how about making it interesting…10 hours for each person, if a person is knocked out, losing side loses 10 hours, winners get that time more or less, so if its 20 per team, winner gets that 20…and a bonus… we don't make it a death match… but if you lose… well we had one sex show…why not make another after kicking some bitches asses?" A smug prisoners said though…he was instantly knocked out by a tough looking prisoner from behind.
"Dumbass… you just saw a kid take out Jones and you think these applicants are normal?... no… that woman with the cat like claws and toes with cat like pupils has a scent of death on her more than that abnormal brat and that woman who just talked seems to have a more deadly feel than that guy she is with." The Prisoner said with a cold tone before he looks at the supposed brothers or the one that was not knocked out.
"ME and the other guy will go in and we will decide what happens…remember…dying is not an option but losing hours over your lust is something I won't tolerate since we lost a lot of time…if we lose these matches… we lose that deal to lose hours on our prison time…so unless you want me to kill you and your brother later or just kick you down this pit now…fucking back off and take your brother with you." The man said with a cold tone to his voice.
"Okay okay chill." The guy said before quickly backing off and went to get his brother.
After said brother was dragged away, the man looks at his ally and shook his head.
"Idiots…" The man said to a female cloaked woman given the figure… seemed taller than Leroute but had a more toned body to show she looked to be more of a fighter than a gambler.
"Yeah but what can we do?" The ally said.
"Taking over so we have a chance of getting hours taken off our time." The man said as he looks to the arena.
"We will be taking over, and we won't be having a normal match since unlike some we don't have a deathwish or have sex on the brains like these two dumbasses." The man said while he and the ally moved to get next to one another showing Tigra and Azure who their opponents are for this combined final round.
Tigra chuckles.
"Guess they're our opponents then."
"Guess so." Azure said as she and Tigra fist bumped before the two ebony skinned women walk on the pathway when it was called out as the two prisoners cuffs were removed and they removed their hoods… the man seemed to be a middle aged man with a wide look in his eyes while the woman looked to be a serious looking if beautiful woman with scars over her body and one eye sealing it shut as the two walked on the pathway before they stand on the other end of the arena with Azure and Tigra on the other side.
"For this match, it will be a fight but with two rules… one…no deaths… considering I heard you're the adopted sister of that abnormal kid, pretty sure a deathmatch is just a red flag for us with you…do you accept the first condition?" The man said while he crossed his arms.
Tigra was thoughtful.
"Alright."
"Good…the second condition is simple…you have to pin your opponent's leader for 3 seconds to win the match, anything else besides fatal blows will be allowed, and by pinning, I mean having them on the ground for 3 seconds, not like in wrestling with some kind of weird move to have them in the air and not able to move…no on the ground and more or less unable to move that way…so that means you have to pick out of the two of you to be the leader and have to avoid the seeker who will go after the leader… more or less its a mix of offense and defense… but don't expect the leader to be helpless." The man said while he and the woman had serious looks in their eyes.
Azure cracks her knuckles.
"Sounds reasonable."
"Good…Unless my partner here has any issues, I'll let her go on the offensive and I'll be the leader you need to catch, decide amongst yourselves who is the seeker and who is the leader and we can officially start, I say 20 hour bet between the two groups, winner gets the 20." The man said while he cracks his neck.
Tigra looks at Azure.
"Want to lead or should I?"
"Hmmm…You lead, if anything you can run fast if needed so may as well let the speedy type with me take the leader role." Azure said when she smiles at Tigra.
Tigra grins.
"Sounds good to me."
"Good…hey we picked… Tigra here is the leader and I'm the seeker." Azure said when she looks at the man.
"Very well…the bet is 20 hours, the winning team gets the 20…Veronika…don't hold back, if you have to, dislocate joints, again underhanded but not fatal." The man said while he looks at the one eyed woman while identifying her as Veronika.
Veronika grins.
"This will be fun." She said.
"You can do this, Azure." Cedric said to cheer his girlfriend on.
Azure gave Cedric a thumbs up and after turning to look at Veronika and the man, Azure grins.
"So…before we start, got a name old man?" Azure said while the man shrugged.
"Eh…call me Frank, simple name." The man named Frank said while looking amused.
"Very well. Nice to meet you Frank." Azure said.
"Eh, try saying that if Veronika and I win this… for now…as long as were settled, lets get start." Frank said as Veronika rushed forwards but she and Frank were surprisised when Azure and Tigra charged her with grins on their faces.
"What?... Chala was a out of the box thinker!... why not have the leader and seeker work together!?" Azure growls while she and Tigra both moved in sync to throw a punch with Tigra with her left and Azure with her right to hit a blocking Veronika and she grits her teeth from the force used when she skids back while Frank blinks at this.
"You Hunters to be… are strange compared to most…" Frank said while he looks both amused and somewhat worried since this meant normal tactics won't work.
Cedric chuckled.
"Look at our girls in action." He said as he nudged at Emerald.
Emerald blushed at this.
"N-Not my girl… just had fun with her and stuff." Emerald said while he wasn't sure how to feel about Tigra since they just met…granted he met Pitou recently and Mito and had sex with them on Whale Island so what did he know…still he wasn't used to women actually coming onto him given he normally naturally intimidates weak women away thanks to his constant Ren state so having women flirt with him and stuff made him feel happy… still something felt off to Emerald.
"Still… that Frank guy feels off…like he is hiding something, despite what is going on, he seems way to calm and composed and that is worrisome given that means he can think with a cool head." Emerald said reminding everyone this Frank guy wasn't normal…he was a prisoner here who most likely had an insane level of years if he committed crimes…he could have picked up other things before being imprisoned in Trick Tower.
"I'll give you that but… let's not worry and watch. Something may come out good." Cedric said.
Emerald sweatdrop when he realized Cedric must be hoping for a *Accident* to happen for a wardrobe malfunction and the groups look on as Veronika managed to get her bearings and with a serious look rushed Tigra and Azure surprising them when Veronika moved to grip their fists when they tried to punch her and this time Veronika didn't skid back.
"Hit me once and had me skid…I underestimated you two a bit when it came to power…try that again…" Veronika said with a serious tone to her voice as she gave them a deadly look when she quickly gripped their wrists.
"THAN YOUR THE FOOLS!" Veronika growls deeply when she pulled a move straight from a movie and well… she shocking lifts Tigra and Azure and starts slamming them on the ground hard with Azure and Tigra protecting their heads with their free hand but all in all many saw that Azure and Tigra just got a puny God moment when Veronika threw them over her head and slammed them on the ground hard causing multiple cracks to form and did it a few more times while Emerald and the others cringe at this since that wasn't light slams.
"That's gotta hurt." Gon said.
Veronika on her end tried to do this again… however killing intent started to come from Azure and Tigra in waves surprising many as Veronika lets the duo go and jumped back with a cold sweat on her body…Azure for half a second had a VERY cold look in her eyes… same with Tigra but they calmed down though Tigra was amused by the killing intent since it felt like a killers type of intent.
"Hehe…well well…looks like you have more of a dark side than I thought for someone pretty easygoing." Tigra said as she wiped blood from her head and hand that was used to protect her head.
"You have no idea." Azure said before she spit out a bit of blood from her mouth.
Tigra than cracked her neck.
"Still going full frontal against her isn't a wise move…so why don't we switch things up so we don't get cracked or broken ribs." Tigra said when she had an idea in mind.
"Very well then." Azure said.
Tigra and Azure got in a combat stance as Veronika got in her own again as Tigra grins.
"Quick Question Azure…how are you at landing on your feet?" Tigra said in a cryptic way.
Azure smirks.
"No issues with that."
Tigra grins.
"Jump straight up!" Tigra said when Azure blinks but she did as high as she could and some were impressed when Azure jumped rather high, more so than Gon by a bit from a natural ground jump and when she did, Tigra grins and moved to raise a hand and when Azure lands… she blinks when she landed on Tigra's hands and Tigra grins more.
"May as well think outside the box… by having you go well over it!" Tigra growls before she had her muscles in her arms tense greatly, even showing some shocking veins when her muscles in her arms toned up greatly and a moment later, Azure was surprised when she was thrown WELL in the air of the arena and well over Veronika's reach and as Veronika looks up, she suddenly looked down and had to grip Tigra's hands when Tigra rushed her with a wild look and locked fingers with Veronika to keep her from moving as Azure lands carefully near Frank who looks amused by this kind of move.
"Hehe, not bad little kitty." Frank said.
Tigra chuckles at this when she made sure to keep her eyes on Veronika.
"Thanks…but now your opponent is near you." Tigra growls while Azure on her end cracked her knuckles as she looks at Frank.
Frank on his end just shrugged.
"Fine by me…but if you think I'll be easy well…" Frank said but was suddently kicked hard by Azure making him fly dramatically back in the air on his chest and while the hunters to be cheered and Azure chased him… Emerald got wide eyes.
"AZURE BACK OFF FROM HIM NOW!" Emerald roars in a panic when Pitou looks surprised when she saw something emitting from Frank from his chest where he was hit…Aura…this guy grins as he flipped to land on his feet and as Azure jumped back, Frank dusts himself off.
Just a reminder… for people like Emerald, Bruno, and Pitou who were trained Hunters to be who knew about Aura… they could see the Aura emitting from Frank…for those like Gon, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, Tonpa, Lillum, Chala, and possibly Cedirc and Azure, and the rest of the prisoners… well they saw nothing alarming but with the way Emerald reacted…and the way Azure looks at her foot when she felt it being abnormally sore…definitly showed this was not a normal fight at all.
"Azure!" Cedric said with a worried look now.
Azure frowns when she looks at Frank.
"You're… not a normal guy are you?" Azure said as Frank chuckles.
"Hehe, well considering that someone spoiled things… will say this… no… no I'm not…I'm an Ex-Hunter who passed the Hunter exam years ago… learned a few tricks of the trade not many know about… and let me say little lady and fill the rest of you in, the Hunter exam is easy mode compared to what you have to learn AFTER you become a Hunter…won't say more but lets just say if you think I'll be easy to take down… well… let me put it to you like this… Veronika is strong but I never lost a fight to her or any prisoner here and I used to be a Blacklist hunter… a Hunter who hunts bounties more or less so getting into fights of life and Death were a normality to me…so you're right in thinking a straight up fight is pointless against Veronika…but unlike her who is beatable…think you can beat me?... I rarely lost fights outside of this tower since I took on real monsters who could kill me if I'm not careful…and while your strong… your definitely not up to guys like Netero… guy put me here himself… the old bastard…honestly just because I didn't care about a persons reasons before I killed them, I get sent here of all places." Frank said as Emerald looks at Tigra and Azure.
"You two have to surrender now!, I don't care if you two could kick that Veronika woman's ass single handed… this guy…he is deadly to those without the right qualifications and unless you two are hiding something, you two won't be able to take him!... forget a fatal wound, one wrong move and if you two get hit by him while he is using that… power… and you two could be cripped or killed just from one wrong attack!" Emerald said with a worried look before he got a serious look on his face.
"I will say this… if you two won't surrender…" Emerald said before he shocked many by jumping well over the hole around the arena and got into it before looking at Tigra and Azure seriously.
"I may as well knock you two out and drag you out… hey Frank… if thats your real name…consider this a majority choice type surrender if you wan to humor this…I don't care if this gets us fully disqualified and we have to come back next year for a test… but there is no way in hell I'll let these two get disfigured by you…non-fatal my fucking ass…you'll put them in fates worse than death if you make one wrong move against them!" Emerald growls while he looks at Frank while Emerald's Aura surged making many who didn't have Aura type defenses shudder and pale when they felt an intense pressure emit from Emerald… as a reminder Emerald was a freak of nature with a constant Red state, but this was like amping that further and Frank looks shocked by this since Emerald was emitting Ren at a rate that would kill many high tier Aura users but Emerald was just standing there without breaking a sweat.
Tigra did shudder before looking at Azure.
"He's definitely serious."
Azure was surprised as well from this.
"Hey… before we do that Emerald…how much of a risk would it be if Tigra and I continue and you don't get in the way?" Azure asked as Emerald looks at her seriously.
"You want the grizzly details?... fine…I can't say too much but best case scenario…one of two things… one… a simple knock out from a blocked hit… broken arms…best of the worst case… you lose a limb that can be replaced at that is the best case scenario…worst case… instant death if you get hit anywhere close to your heart or head… worst of the worst… your in a state worst than death…some cases I heard of have either lost entire parts of their bodies…I can't explain much till after the Hunter exam so I can talk freely but… what that is for Hunters to be like us… for unprepared people like you… its called… a Baptism… and unlike that religious type for newborns and others, its not a simple water type thing… no… its one where you pretty much lose a lot to gain something but I'm hoping to avoid that…if you two really want to continue I won't stop you but…" Emerald said as he cracked his knuckles.
"I'll forfeit the match you two and fight Frank myself… issues be damned I've seen people who have been Baptized in the Hunter world and I won't let women like yourselves with serious talent be taken down a dark road like that…once you have been Baptized… there is NO going back." Emerald said while he cracked his knuckles as he had a look that was so serious he would do what he said if Azure and Tigra didn't surrender.
Tigra sighs.
"Alright… but you owe us big time later."
Emerald sighs in relief while Azure growls and got out of her combat stance.
"Fair enough, I'll make sure to do whatever you two ask until we get done with the Hunter exam, fair enough?" Emerald asked before he looks at Frank and Veronika.
"Sorry but these two are surrendering…we may have lost hours but still we won with 4 wins to 3 losses if we count this fight as a double score." Emerald said while he looks at the two prisoners.
Frank shrugs.
"Not my problem. They got lucky." He said as Cedric sighs.
"Damn… Azure is gonna be extra sour."
"Eh… considering what Emerald did, you'll be glad he did…trust me." Pitou said when she placed a hand on Cedric's shoulder.
"You think that but… she likes to win." Cedric said.
"Maybe… hey Emerald considering things, why not give an example of a Baptism with Frank here…you two hit a corner of the arena and use that power you two have and show them what could happen if they take full on hits?... consider it humoring those who don't get what we mean and to show how deadly Hunters or Hunters to be with… that power… can do when used seriously." Pitou said and while most were confused by… That power… type thing… Emerald rubs his head and looks at Frank.
"May as well…if Veronika is your student or something, should be a good reminder of what she can do if trained…and show Tigra and Azure here what can happen if they take a hit wrong." Emerald said when he walked to one corner of the arena while many looks at him with Frank shrugging and doing the same…Emerald raised a fist while Frank moved his hand in a piercing motion and well… an intense pressure was felt from Emerald… mainly his fist and Frank had that pressure honed in his hand and well…Emerald and Frank sent their hands down and Emerald absolutely destroyed a large chunk of the Arena corner, much more than a simple crack, Emerald even had to jump back when one entire corner of the arena was destroyed… Majitani had a wide eye when his hit did nothing compared to that and when Frank pierced his hand into the part of the arena ground he was on, he didn't jump away since a thin line formed and a chunk of the arena was removed when it fell like the ground in front of Frank was sliced apart so that while rubble fell from Emerald's side, a large chunk fell from Franks end and well… every Non- Aura user had shocked wide eyes from seeing this display since this was a first for Emerald showing what he can do and this showed that if Frank did go all out or somewhat… Azure would have been missing limbs most likely or broken bones at best.
"Oh shit." Tigra said as she believed this could've been them.
Azure had wide eyes but she grins when she saw this.
"Shit…I got to learn how to do that." Azure said as Emerald rubs his head.
"Yeah well depends on the persons inborn talent… can explain later but you get why I got in the way here…if it was normal person on person, would hold back but when I saw this guy use… that power to block your kick…well nuff said… hey Pitou when Azure gets over here, examine her foot, just hitting… that power can cause serious issues…" Emerald said as Frank crossed his arms.
"She can do that soon, given you did win, you all may pass but know that until you stay in some rooms for 50 hours or so, maybe 40 since you did lose a number of hours against us, it's a penalty of sorts in place that some hunters to be have to deal with." Frank said as Emerald sighs.
"Makes sense, least we will have more time compared to if we lost all of our hours… guess its like 35 to 40 given we had 15 hours left on our time huh?... doubt we would get a prize if we had more hours but this can help us recover and more." Emerald said while Frank and the prisoners got ready to leave though…
"Hey old man…considering what Emerald said, you probably don't want to leave without having a real fight right?, why not take on Emerald and see what you two can do?" Killua said while Emerald gave Killua a wide eyed look as Frank looks amused.
"Hehe…nah…if it was a normal hunter with… hehe… that power…maybe…but against this freak of nature with an abnormal body…would be my loss in the long run…same with that Chimera Ant woman your with…been around the block to know enough on them to see the signs…you can ask more details about what Chimera Ant's are but know they are not normal magical creatures…can't say much more than that…Honestly Leroute you got off easy getting fucked by one since she could have ripped you apart with her hands alone if she didn't agree to take bets." Frank said while he looks at Leroute near him with an amused look on his face.
Leroute blushes brightly as Pitou chuckles.
