The morning came early for them as Kenta let the girls know he was awake. When they looked at the clock they realized it was only 1AM.

"I'll get him, you go back to sleep," Lahyla told Sora.

"Then I will get him the next time," Sora told her giving Layla a kiss as she got out of bed.

"Sounds good, love you Sora," Layla whispered against her lips.

"Mmm," Sora murmured as she fell back asleep.

"Come on buddy lets get you fed and changed before you wake your sister,"Layla told her crying son.

She walked with Kenta out to the kitchen to make his bottle. She talked to him about New York, Kelidio Stage and how happy she was that she would be able to help him grow up. It didn't take long before Kenta was back asleep and Layla Joined him as the laid on the couch together.

Sora woke up about an hour later realizing Layla never returned to bed. She got out of bed and walked over to the crib and didn't see Kenta. She realized that they must still be in the living room. When she looked at them she turned and went to get her phone to take a picture of them sleeping together.

She had just taken the picture when Kenta started fussing again. Putting the phone on the end stand she picked up the baby and started for their room just as Layla started to wake up.

"Kenta!" She yelled starting to become frantic thinking someone stole him.

"We are in the bedroom, Layla." Sora called out hearing how frantic her girlfriend was. "I am changing his diaper."

Layla relieved and suffering from the adrenaline rush from her panic sat back down on the couch to wait for Sora to return. Seeing Sora's phone she picked it up to look at it. Seeing the picture of her and Kenta she smiled.

"You two looked so cute together," Sora told her.

"Can I send it to my phone?" Layla asked hesitantly.

"of course," Sora told her with a smile.

"Thanks. Do you think we are doing the right thing taking them in?" Layla asks worried about whether they were ready for that step or not. "I mean what do you we know about taking care of children? Our jobs are dangerous. Look at Marion's mom. Well yours anyway."

Well I guess it is good that we had already talked about opening a school then. We will get through this like we have everything else, together. We just need to find out about your shoulder. Have you heard from the doctor?" Sora wanted to reassure her girlfriend, but also wanted some assurances herself.

"He left a message last night but with the time difference and everything else I haven't been able to call him back."

"Well call as soon as you can. We need you back to good health before this one starts walking," Sora teased.

"Yeah, I will. I love you, Sora."

"I love you too, Layla. Lets go back to bed, we have a few hours before Yume wakes up."

Layla nods in agreement before returning to the bedroom.
