Not explicit but some violence in here.

The Sun set in Stamford, Connecticut and in a normal looking neighbourhood was a house that served as the base of operations for the young superhero team known as the New Warriors and were their reality TV show was filmed. The team were gathered together in the living room and were young adults with 19 years of age at the oldest.

Facing everyone was a brown haired young man called Carlton LaFroyge who was the only non powered member of the team and was more mission control under the codename Hindsight. He ended up blackmailing his way onto the team after getting information on the next member of the team.

Robbie Baldwin going by Speedball a blonde haired boy in a light blue bodysuit with a golden belt, golden gloves, golden boot, golden mask (with yellow lenses that exposed his mouth, eyes and hair and a slight cowl to go with it. He had the power of a kinetic energy field that allowed himself to be propelled as a human bouncing ball.

Zachary Smith Jr going by Microbe an obtuse bald headed boy in a light green and white short sleeved bodysuit and brown belt with goggles. He was a mutant with the power to talk to micro organisms.

Doreen Green going by Squirrel Girl a short brain haired girl with a dark brown leotard and shorts, spandex leggings, a bushy squirrel's tail out of her behind, brown boots and a brown jacket. She was petting a squirrel she called Monkey Joe and her Mutant abilities allowed her to talk to squirrels.

Alex Power going by Powerpax a blonde haired boy in a black bodysuit with a white stripe down it and a dark blue jacket. He went by Powerpax and as a young child along with his younger siblings had been given powers by an alien they used to become the young hero team known as Power Pack but had recently managed to get the ability to steal his siblings powers. He had been keeping them believing they were too dangerous to be in the hands of kids. He along with his original powers of gravity control now had energy powers, density control to turn his body into a gas substance and being able to fly at lightspeed.

Finally facing them was their leader Vance Astrovik who went by Justice; a brown haired boy with a dark blue mask that exposed his hair and face, a dark blue bodysuit and light blue elements and a black and yellow symbol along with a dark blue cape. He was a Mutant with the powers of flight and telekinesis.

"Just got off the phone not too long ago with the manager and... Our show hasn't been renewed... The network and Stark Industries doesn't want us to risk another stunt like what had happened..." LaFroyge told them as they looked like it was a no-brainer and Robbie then scoffed.

"Let's call it as it was... We went over our heads in going against a dangerous villain to look good on the show and we got innocent people killed and houses destroyed... Not to mention that Dwayne who brought us together is dead... I have no idea how Stark got it covered up but I will never forgive myself... Neither will my parents as I have been pretty much disowned and my dad was never a fan of superheroes or 'celebrity vigilantes' to begin with..." Robbie then sighed looking guilty.

"Come on Robbie... Don't be so hard on yourself... We are all in this... We were cocky and we can make up for it..." Doreen tried to assure Robbie going to put a comforting hand on his shoulder but he pulled away.

"How exactly can I make up enough penance for this..." Robbie almost screamed at his ex-girlfriend before calming down. "I don't think that I can take much more of this..." Robbie then muttered putting his hands to his face.

"All the waning ratings for our show; we could get try and see about getting an A-list hero to appear... There is Spider-Man who is gaining ground..." suggested LaFroyge then said.

"I think that Robbie means the whole 'celebrity superhero' thing... It pretty much robbed me and my siblings of our childhoods... Julie wants to try and put it all behind her to become an actress and confided in me that her manager bluntly told her in her face that her best bet is to lean into her past as a hero to get fame and downplay the fact that she doesn't have powers anymore. My brother Jack is becoming bitter and is trying to find gigs outside of signing autographs at conventions... Katie is just wishing that I didn't take her powers away from her..." Alex then said agreeing with Robbie nodding.

"I could never get over that after killing my dad; abusive as he was... I still wanted to have my time in court to make myself accountable but my manager and agent refused to let me as I tried to stop it sweeping under the rug... Now it's being repeated..." Vance sighed as they thought it over.

"We can try just being heroes... Fire the manager and agent and quit all the sponsorships and stuff..." Zachary asked and they thought it over and it mostly sounded appealing to them.

"All in favour..." Vance said asked as al but Layfroyge then put their hands up but from the window bullet strikes went out and struck Zachary in the gut. They yelled and Doreen tended to him as the others went into action.

Crashing through the wall was a figure in a suit of armor with purple lines to it and faced off against Alex sending energy at him as Vance then telekinetically threw furniture at the figure. "I can become gas so you can't hurt me..." as the figure then took the hits from Vance but then the automated machine guns outside the windows began fitting distracting Alex and allowing the figure to let out a huge blast of ionic energy.

Doreen was thrown away to safety by Robbie in his ball form as they took a moment to smile at them. Soon a huge blast of ionic energy blasted at the house and brought them down. Vance and Alex were barely standing as another figure came from behind in mask and body armor with a sledgehammer as he managed to attack them both from behind. Merciless in the strikes to their legs and arms. He then punched at them making them groan as the other figure took out a gun to shoot at the bodies of Zachary and LaFroyge just to make sure.

Robbie then glared as he then charged in ball form and got that figure down but the figure with the sledgehammer then attacked him from behind and ended up beating him down. "Why are you doing this..." Doreen muttered afraid and shrieked as she saw Monkey Joey's body.

"This is for the people you got killed for your little show... Their livelihoods... The mother that lost a child... This is your punishment..." the figure then said as the other one then laughed at her.

"The supposed Unbeatable Squirrel Girl... You're not worth any effort fighting..." laughed the other figure as they activated cloaking invisibility in their suits.

They went to the stealth jet and went were greeted by Richmond as Nighthawk. "CIA issues experimental power suits powered by the energy given by Wonder Man's powers... Along with your Potion..." the figure with the sledgehammer then said taking off his helmet to reveal Castle.

"Still how funny is that; Nighthawk who prides himself on his reputation as the peak of human training who can stand shoulder to shoulder with gods... Needed an extra boost in his special magical potion that he had acquired in his travels; gives him super strength and agility during the night... Pretty useful..." the other figure then laughed taking off his helmet to reveal Fury. In the pilot's seat was Coulson looking unnerved by what had happened.

"Shame that their late original leader the Night Thrasher helped bring their show together and got himself killed... I saw a lot of myself in him... Young rich heir watching his parents gunned down at a young age and motivated him to be a masked avenger of justice... I had hoped to bring him in to train as a partner..." Richmond then sighed.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL FURY!" Peter snapped as he ran into the lair where Fury and the crew were there with the TV monitor there showing the solemn news bulletin from WHIH News reporting on the destroyed home of the New Warriors and the unpleasant deaths of most of the members leaving Squirrel Girl and Speedball who was in critical condition.

Castle was stone faced as Coulson was looking away, Scott looked shaken by what he was watching while Fury smirked. "You are welcome Parker." Fury then told him as Peter then looked at him in disbelief. "I kept you out of this so that you could keep your hands clean and have a clean conscious!" Fury then explained as Peter was getting angrier.

"Was there any need for what you did..." Peter snapped as Castle was in his face.

"Was there any need for them to be chasing someone out of their league for their stupid reality show and caused an incident that got people killed including a child... All covered up by Stark... That was the sort of thing that you agreed to work with us to fight..." Castle then retorted to him and Peter was silent as he then left.

Peter knew that the New Warriors weren't the most competent or put together hero team and he heard rumors in the Rocket Central about what had happened and in clubs but they didn't deserve what had happened to them. He got a call from his communication device to come to the Rocket Central.

Changing into Spider-Man in a spot he teleported up and was with the gathered Squadron members at the meeting table with a lot looking shaken and a lot looking angry. "Someone thinks that they can keep pulling stunts like these and think that they will get away with this... We need to hunt these animals down and show them who they are messing with..." Ledger snapped with mutters of agreement as Peter stood next to a shaken Zarda.

"This must be rectified; any of us could be the next targets!" said a large bulky man in a yellow space themed bodysuit with a metal hemet like mask that exposed his hair and face. He was Colonel John Jameson the ex-husband of Jennifer who went by Colonel Jupiter.

"Trust me... We will find them and attack with full force... Superheroes are my family business along with weapons and no one messes with my business..." Stark told them calmly despite his huge glare and had a nodding Hill next to him; peter and Zarda glared at what he had chosen to point out.

"Hold on a second... Where is Hyperion..." Blue Eagle ended up asking as they all realised that the one meant to lead the team wasn't there.

"He went flying somewhere and didn't answer communications... Rhodey has been sent to find him..." Tony explained as Peter and Zarda quickly shared a look. They had discerely copied the Project: Hyperion folder and sent it to the computer in Hyperion's room. They could only hope that it turned out well but he did deserve to know the truth...

Back on the subject of stuff to tackle if you want to put a spin on the Marvel Universe inspired by the Boys: the New Warriors the young hero team with their own reality TV show and it was from their reckless pursuit of a dangerous villain that caused the inciting incident of the comics Civil War...

While the Boys show had the non powered until the last season titular team using their wits to outsmart and blackmail Supes while finding the means to fight the system; it making clear how much they are outgunned when they are faced up against an actual Supe (biggest exception would be Butcher just ramming into a whale when Deep tries to catch them as they are on a boat). In the actual comics the Boys have their increased by Compound V to put them on a more evening playing field with the Supes (and a video I watched discussing how the show is superior pointed out that the comics don't go into the debate of the potential hypocrisy of becoming what they are fighting against) and generally tailing lover levelled and joke Supes to beat the snot out of and kill them while trying to steer clear of the Seven who are actually dangerous to them. I could be wrong as I have my info mostly second hand but I have used my Amazon Prime membership to view the kindle edition of the first volume and I got a second hand copy of Over the Hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men as in the penultimate arc of the original series. But I will say that the I'm Your Pusher episode of the Boys: Diabolical (styled after the comics and can very well be in canon) does actually resemble the Boys in what they plan as in blackmailing the Supes' drug dealer into helping them spike a careless Supe into having a public death.

Why did I bring this up? Well the beatdown and killing of the New Warriors here by Fury's crew here would most likely be portrayed in the comics as a moment of awesome showing business to a bunch of jokes but I to portray it as horrifying but also like the Guardians of the Globe in the Invincible show: giving off a better fight.
