Hey, hey!

Nothing to comment, just hope you enjoy the chapter!

Kakashi, Sakura and Sasuke ended up staying three more days. In those three days, Naruto hadn't left Hinata's side.

She was doing better. A lot better. Moving around, keeping busy, a lot of self-reflection. Naruto would find Hinata out on the back porch near the pond meditating. Sometimes he'd even catch Kakashi out back, sitting with her. Watching to see if her new abilities were causing her pain. It was a family affair. Naruto's family taking Hinata in as being part of team seven's dysfunctional family.

Currently Naruto was inside their cottage. Sitting at his desk that was facing the window to the backyard. He was watching Hinata out the window while he reviewed some documents that Rex brought over to be signed and looked over. He was on his laptop checking messages, and making sure the office was fine while he was away. Sending a shadow clone once in a while to double check.

He blinked when he saw hot tea being placed in front of him. "It's peppermint. With a hint of chocolate. You'll like it." Naruto looked at Sakura and smiled at her. They've silently made up from the last time he basically snapped at her.

"Thanks. I guess I could use a break." Sakura smiled at Naruto as she watched him blow on the hot beverage. "Yeah. Plus you could give Hinata some space and stop stalking her. It's not like what happened to Sasuke. Naruto, she was never going to leave you, or turn on you. I saw your face when you realized Hinata made it outside without you knowing. You bolted out that door, because you thought another Sasuke situation was going to happen. That she'd turn on you. Hinata wasn't in control of herself that night. She walked out there like a zombie because that Hamura man was luring her out to the open. I'm glad you caught it. I'm glad you were there when she first left the village."

Naruto heard the concern in Sakura's voice and turned to look at her. She was smiling sadly and sipping her own tea as she looked out the window. "I didn't even catch any of this Naruto. She was literally a walking ghost back in Konoha. I…I just thought it was PTSD from the war. Something she would have to get over, like the rest of us. I was wrong. She was literally dying. Could you imagine if you didn't go on this journey with Hinata? She…She, oh gosh Naruto. She wouldn't have ever came back. We would have never seen Hinata again."

Sakura covered her mouth as she watched Hinata talk to Kakashi. He even got her to laugh. "She would be held hostage on some moon and no one would have ever known. Or worse, she'd be dead. Alone and by herself. So, I take back everything I said Naruto. Everything I was angry at you about. I'm so relieved you were there for Hinata."

Naruto smiled at Sakura and took her hand to calm her nerves. "Thanks Sakura. I'm sorry for worrying you guys. I think coming out here with Hinata helped me too. It helped me realize what I really want in life. What's really important. I feel horrible honestly Sakura. I hate that I can't push myself to see Konoha as being my dream again, it's just not. Not anymore."

Sakura looked sad, but she still smiled and nodded her head. "No, I get it. Now I do. I'm really happy for you and Hinata."

Naruto smiled at this and looked back out the window. Sasuke was out there with them now. He sat across from Hinata, cross legged and the two stared at one another. Hinata's eyes, after much needed rest, had thankfully went back to her soft lavender-gray color.

Naruto and Sakura watched as Sasuke looked to be studying Hinata. More interested at this new dōjutsu than anything. Sasuke's eyes shifted red as he activated his Sharingan and Hinata immediately activated her Byakugan.

Sasuke smirked at her as he slowly nodded his head. He could see Naruto and Sakura coming outside from his peripheral vision. He could since their mood. A mixture of curious and nervous. They thought he was going to headbutt with Hinata again.

He was just interested. Was he using his Sharingan actively right now? A little. He wanted to see the push back this Hyuga had for him. He's heard that the Hyuga eyes could deflect a Sharingan, but only a basic one. His wasn't basic, yet he could see that Hinata could still deflect him. Making him want to see just how far he could go with her.

It made him wonder. Was she good at reading his Sharingan? Or has Naruto shared some of his Uchiha secrets, that Naruto has learned over the years himself?

A Hyuga knowing a Uchiha's dōjutsu secrets is a major 'hell no'. He had to know some of hers.

"So you are a gentle fist master? I've heard only the top Byakugan users could deflect some of the Sharingan. Your father is the only one that I heard could currently do it. You've been hiding your skills. Naruto says you just don't enjoy the ninja lifestyle, but I don't believe it. I think that's part of your act as a kunoichi. To pretend that you have no talents. To pretend that you don't like to fight, and when your opponent underestimates you. You finish them, because those eyes of yours were studying them the whole time. From the inside and out."

Hinata titled her head as she looked at Sasuke. He saw the veins around her eyes pulsate the more he advanced his Sharingan. So, only her and her father could do this. It was a family trait. Meaning Naruto's children probably would be able to deflect his children's.

Sasuke smirked at this. The dobe always found a way to one up him. "How far can you use your Byakugan? You all have distance limits. Correct?"

Hinata nodded her head. "Yes. I can see over a mile." Sasuke arched his brow, "How many miles?"

Hinata seemed to clamp up at the interrogation. She saw what he was doing. "Multiple."

Sasuke shook his head as he stared at her. A little from being caught and a little at her stubbornness. "How can we help you when you won't accept help?" Hinata frowned at this and stood up as she walked off the porch and into the middle of the open land before she turned around and faced Sasuke.

"I did not grow up with the caged bird seal. It is engraved in me to protect my family and our secrets. From friend and foes. I am not heir anymore, but I still take pride in being a Hyuga. I respect my family too much to just tell all our details. Please understand."

If the tabled were turned. Sasuke would do the same.

Hinata was wearing a black long sleeve turtleneck shirt and tight black leggings. Comfortably enough to meditate and stretch in. Also good if she wanted to train in it.

"As you know, all Hyuga's have one fraction of a blind spot with our 360 sight while using our Byakugan. Each Hyuga has a different blind spot. It's not all the same. It's dangerous if other's found such a secret out. Only two people know of my blind spot. My father, and the other is no longer living. Neji died with my secret. No one else knows, and no one will ever know. Hyuga's take things like this serious. I cannot share information about my Byakugan."

She made a fist with one hand and a lion's head formed. Hinata frowned at the different color in chakra, it was purple now. "It's like, it's not even me anymore." Hinata let out a sigh as she looked at her hand. Was this a blessing or a curse?

It was a blessing to be alive. To be with Naruto and to have a second chance at life. Hinata was grateful for that. She also knew of the new burden she was tasked with. She was a gatekeeper. She was a guardian.

Hinata thought she retired from being a ninja. From the lifestyle, but now she's agreed to be in this lifestyle until she dies. She smiled to herself, but it wasn't filled with happiness. She felt like she ruined her and Naruto's dream. "I just wanted to be his wife. Someone that was always there when he came home. I just wanted to give him normalcy and peace. For being there for me when I had no peace."

Sasuke and Kakashi frowned hearing Hinata mumble this to herself. The curse of evolving Dōjutsu's sometimes. They could make you go mad. It's a process that Hinata would have to conquer.

She closed her eyes and her veins receded from her face. When she opened her eyes, the Tenseigan was activated.

Hinata has been trying to understand this new evolution. It still brought her pain to use, but she would have to get used to it. She noticed her lion's head had tripled in size and she let the purple chakra consume her.

Naruto walked off the porch and looked at Hinata. He heard what she mumbled. He saw her sinking. If this was anything like the Sharingan, such negative thoughts, that dōjutsu would eat her alive. She had to conquer this, but he wouldn't let her do it alone. "Are you sure you want to try this now? It's only been three days Hinata."

Hinata looked at Naruto and slowly nodded her head. "I want to try." She let the chakra consume her and her whole body became a crystalized purple chakra form. Two horns appearing on her forehead.

Naruto walked up to Hinata and smiled at her. "Okay." He immediately shifted into Kurama mode. His pupils turning into slants and his whole body being coated a flaming yellow and orange.

It almost seemed like he was challenging Hinata's unstable chakra. Trying to intimidate it.

Hinata's breath was caught in her throat as she watched the intensity in Naruto's eyes. "Well Hinata. We have all this land. None of the civilians will see us. Come catch me." With that he moved so fast it was like he flickered away from her.

Hinata's eyes followed him and she moved at rapid speeds to keep up with him. Naruto was just so fast. It would be utterly impossible to catch him on foot. Before Hinata knew it, her large stride to sprint soon turned to her feet not touching the ground at all as she was literally flying after Naruto.

He turned around and saw Hinata. So, she was flying? This brought a big smirk to his face. Naruto mimicked her and turned around sharply to look at her. He could do the same.

Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi watched the two of them. Sasuke furrowing his brows together. "When did he learn to fly?" Sakura just watched with her mouth hanging open and shook her head. "I have no clue."

Hinata faced Naruto and looked at her hand again. It looked like she was going to make her lions fist again, but the chakra turned solid black, and then transformed purple. A dark purple ball. Hinata gasped at the feeling and held her hand. She shook her head as she looked at Naruto. "I can't."

Naruto was upon her in a second and held her hand that was holding the ball. "Hamura gave you the ability to generate truth seeking balls. Hinata, this is a heavy one. Meaning if you used it, it would destroy half this city probably. Just relax, and let me help."

Kakashi watched as Naruto maneuvered behind Hinata. Her hand that held the truth seeking ball, he put his hand under that hand. Kakashi could see Naruto whispering in Hinata's ear as it seemed like he was coaching her on what to do. "If Naruto could train Hinata on how to use these new abilities. If she learns to multitask this with her Byakugan. She'd become very dangerous."

Sasuke looked at Kakashi before he looked back at Naruto. A smile graced his face as he looked at his adopted brother. "Good. Konoha doesn't have to carry the ninja world on our backs anymore. It's tiring."

Kakashi chuckled at this. Well, he wasn't wrong.

Hinata was breathing heavy, but soon she was able to dispel the ball and revert back to her original form. Naruto lowered them down to the ground and reverted back to his original form. "That was really good Hinata. You're putting everything together pretty fast."

Hinata blushed at the compliment and hid behind her hands, away from Naruto. He chuckled at her shyness. It was good to see her coming around from her near death experience. He was terrified during those moments, but he could imagine how Hinata felt. To realize for years she was slowly dying. It made you look at life differently.

Naruto held her hands and pulled her closer to him. He smiled at her and Hinata gave a bashful smile. He grinned at her and started to kiss her hand and kissed all the way up her arm. "My sun, my moon, my world."

Hinata giggled at Naruto's silliness, but grew redder by the second. "Naruto! Cut it out. You're gonna make her pass out and make me sick. Gosh do you have any restrictions from the PDA."

Sakura grumbled as she made her way to them, Sasuke and Kakashi not too far behind her. Naruto ignored Sakura and continued to lay it thick on Hinata. He kissed his way up to Hinata's ear and whispered so no one could hear.

"They'll be leaving in the morning. Then I'll have you all to myself. You won't be walking for days when I'm done with you, my Hinata. You'll think about our passion forever, and make a fortune off the artwork that you'll be inspired by my love."

He caught Hinata when she passed out and grinned as he held her bridal style. Joy coursed through him, he was just happy to see some things never changed.

Sakura glared at him before rolling her eyes. "You're such a pervert. I can see it all over your face."

Naruto held Hinata close to him and smiled. "Hinata loves me just the way I am." The group started to walk back to the cottage when Kakashi spoke up.

"Ideally. You and Hinata, I would want back in Konoha. Considering everything we've discovered. However, the logical side of me can see the benefits of you being here. Geographically we are so far apart, if you cover this side and we cover our area. It's easier to make sure everyone is safe. From whatever challenges might threaten us in the future. So, whatever your decision is. I'll support it Naruto."

Naruto nodded his head in thought. "You rather us to be back though. More than us being here."

Kakashi was silent for a moment before speaking. "Yes, but more so for emotional reasons than anything else. Like you said, we are family."

They reached the back porch again and Naruto let out a sigh. "We will always be family. I'm…really sorry for doing this." Kakashi smiled under his mask as he walked in front of Naruto and looked at him and Hinata. "Don't ever apologize for finding your joy, Naruto. I'm happy for you and Hinata. I truly am."

"Thank you." Hinata mumbled this while in Naruto's arms. Naruto looked down at her and smiled lovingly before letting her down carefully. He then pulled Kakashi into a hug that caught him off guard at first, but soon Kakashi shared the affection. This kid wasn't a kid anymore.

Everyone soon gathered inside and reached a relaxed mood. Naruto had music playing in the background. It wasn't the rock music, more like music Killer B would like mixed with a female singing. It talked about love, hardship and still making it through.

Naruto was in the kitchen with Hinata. Smiling and being goofy with her. Trying to get her to sway to the music. "Come on Hinata! 'Him and I'. You love this song!"

Sakura was sitting at the dining room table as she looked over at Naruto and Hinata. She liked this type of music too? "Gosh I feel like I'm learning Hinata all over again."

"I like this song too. I like the whole album actually." Sakura snapped her head over to Sasuke when he said this. "You do?" Sasuke nodded his head as he looked at Sakura. "It reminds me of us. Our story. How I put you through such trouble, but you still loved me through it all. We get stuck in our world. We feel as if we only understand each other. To me, the only thing that matters is your love and forgiveness. It's just you and I."

Sakura blushed as she looked at him and smiled.

Naruto finally got Hinata to move with him. She was holding a wooden spoon and wore an apron now over her clothing and had her hair in that updo that he thought was so adorable. Her top ponytail bouncing every time she moved.

Hinata giggled as swayed to the music and continued to cook. "You're so silly Naruto-kun!"

Naruto smiled and moved behind her as he wrapped his arms around her stomach. "Am I? You won't think I'm silly tonight." He whispered in her ear and grinned when he saw her neck start to flush.

Naruto backed away from Hinata and kissed her temple. "Do you want me to start setting the table?" Hinata eagerly nodded her head. A smile on her face, because even though she wouldn't admit it. She loved when he treated her like this.

Naruto winked at her before he began setting the table. Kakashi was also at the dining room table as he watched Naruto come over to set it. "So, are you sure you two will not be having children?"

Naruto smirked as he set the table. "Conversation to be continued." This actually caused Kakashi to laugh. He knew Naruto always wanted kids. A family. Hinata was enough of a family for Naruto, but kids would make him even happier. Judging by the way he was behaving, Kakashi doubted Naruto could get any happier than he was now.

Hinata made the plates and one by one Naruto carried them to the table. He lowered the music and each time he got a plate from Hinata, he kissed her lips. By the time they were all settled at the table, sitting down to eat, Hinata was a blushing mess again.

Sakura rolled her eyes for the millionth time, but smiled this time. This was cute, to see both of them so happy. "So Hinata. When is the wedding?"

Hinata looked at Sakura and smiled, "In the spring. I have notified my father and he will be coming with my sister and some other family members. Naruto has notified Iruka-sensei as well."

Naruto cleared his throat when Hinata said this, but Sakura was already looking at him. "So, you never intended on us coming?"

Naruto shook his head and looked at Sakura. "Yeah, well. I didn't get a chance to make it to your wedding, I didn't want you to get angry and think I was being biased or something. Like it almost wouldn't be fair, even though I was really busy and couldn't make it to yours. Your wedding was in the height of me working on this village."

Sasuke rolled his eyes at this. "You think too deep into things. You and Sakura do that. It's not that serious. We'll be there."

Naruto nodded his head and smiled at Sasuke. "Thanks."

Sakura looked at Hinata curiously. For Hinata to be on the brink of death a few days ago, she bounced back super-fast. "So, Hinata. How are you feeling?"

Hinata was in the middle of drinking some lemon water, but she stopped and looked at Sakura. "I feel pain. From my eyes and head of course. Each day is better than the other. It's about conquering the pain when you are a dōjutsu user. I've had challenges with my eyes before. Remember when I went blind temporarily."

Sakura nodded her head and Sasuke did as well. He remembered it just a little because he never went to see if she was okay, or even attempted to go on that venture Naruto went on with Neji. "It's good that you've hit complications before. So you know what to do now. When I was transitioning to Itachi's eyes. I was in horrible pain, but I decided I wanted pain over being blind. I understand how it feels to be blind, in our position, our eyes are all we have."

Hinata looked at Sasuke and nodded her head in agreement. "That's how I feel. The pain is better than being dead. The pain will pass."

The somber smile Hinata had earlier. Sasuke now had. They had many similarities. "Yes, but the curse of being a dōjutsu user will be forever."

Hinata smiled at Sasuke when he said this. Her exact thoughts from earlier. "Exactly." Sasuke shrugged his shoulders as he continued to eat. "Trust me. I understand. If you ever need help training, reach out, and I'll be there to help."

Hinata looked at her food and picked at it. "Thank you. Sasuke."

Sasuke smirked at this. "No problem. Hinata."

Naruto and Sakura burst out laughing awkwardly. Naruto putting an arm around Hinata's shoulder and pulling her closer to him. Sakura looped an arm through Sasuke's and pulled him closer to her. Both gripping their partners rather roughly. Jealousy in their eyes.

This was a connection that Naruto couldn't share with Hinata and Sakura couldn't share with Sasuke. They hated that.

"Alright Hinata. I'm happy that you and teme are friends now." Naruto whispered in Hinata's ear and she blushed, "But you're driving me nuts here."

Sasuke arched his brow at Naruto before he looked down at Sakura and saw her green eyes were now green with envy. She was jealous? Of what? The fact him and Hinata could talk about something that she couldn't relate to? Hmm. Odd. He'd save that information for later, so he wouldn't do it around her again.

He pulled Sakura's head closer to him and kissed her forehead. "Stop being silly." Sakura blushed heavily at this and buried her face in Sasuke's shoulder. "Sorry Sasuke-kun."

Hinata puffed her cheeks and looked up at Naruto as well. "Naruto-kun. You should never think that way of me. How could you think that?"

Naruto actually blushed and looked away from her flustered. A frown on his face. He felt Hinata lay her head on his shoulder. Her hand being sneaky and finding its way under the table to rub his inner thigh.

This caught Naruto's attention and he looked at her with a smile now. His blush still on his face. "Sorry Nata."

Kakashi chuckled at the table as he watched his former students. Love, it created such chaos.

End of chapter.

This was an easy going chapter. Wanted to touch on Hinata's new talents and of course show Naruto's ever growing support for her. Her insecurities, how he eases them.

I wanted Naruto and Sakura to have their friendship moment together, and Sasuke and Hinata to have their friendship moment in this chapter. To really show a strong, family fond between the four. Of course the comedy at the end of Naruto and Sakura being jealous. When Hinata was the one nervous for Naruto to reunite with Sakura, it turns out he was the one to become jealous.

Oh, the song at dinner was 'Him and I'. G Eazy and Halsey. If I could write Sasuke and Sakura, it would be thinking of that song with a dark twist.

So, this chapter is kind of short because next chapter is the wedding. I never wrote a wedding in any of my stories, (a legit here comes the bride wedding, so I don't count 'Follow Me' lol) so I am nervous and excited for it. It's more nerve wracking than writing fight scenes honestly. I hope you all enjoy it though.

See you Friday!
