chapter 2

I don't own wizards of Waverly place just the OC created in this story

A few days later

William and Alex were heading towards the Waverly substation. Her hatred for him was more than obvious however he was indifferent to it all. Suddenly the pair walked past a child who was crying. Alex was affected by the child however Alex wasn't too interested.

William stopped walking just as Alex did and glanced at Alex and the child. "We don't have time for this. We should go."

'Oh my god. He's hopeless! How can he not be worried for the child?' Thought Alex. "Just a minute, bastard."

"You, ok?" Alex asked the child who shook his head no.

"What happened?" She asked sweetly.

"I-I hurt my arm."

Alex looked at the child's arm and did indeed see a bruise on his arm.

"It's just a small bruise. Get over it kid and go home." Now this caused the boy to cry again.

"William! Not helping."

"I'm not trying to help. I'm trying to get some work done."

After a few minutes the kids' parents arrived and thanked them. The child walked away with his parents as a smile appeared on his face.

Turning around Alex glared at him. "How could you treat that boy like that? He was in pain."

"Yeah, right. That was just a bruise. Nothing that he won't feel in next hour or so."

"Even still, you could at least be sympathetic."

"Why should I?"

"I hate you; do you know that?"

"That's nothing new. Now can we get to the substation so we can get started on our project."

"Yeah. Whatever."

William followed after Alex; the sun began to descend as the two classmates walked towards their destination. Alex was bitter. Why did she have to work with the asshole who cared about nobody but himself and thought nothing of harming those around himself?

'He's a bastard. Through and through.' Thought Alex as she angrily stomped towards the Waverly Substation.

William couldn't help but feel irritated. Ever since he met Alex all she had done was glare at him hatefully. He just didn't understand it. Why did she care so much about her friend and how she felt? It just didn't make sense.

Elsewhere location unknown

"This is stupid." Said a man with brown hair and eyes. "Why does he have me tracking down more allies when we could be making our move? In the first place I don't see why the boss is so worried. That brat is never going to get over his past let alone stand up and fight against us. He's no threat. to our cause."

Suddenly his fist swirled with deadly and twisting winds. Such winds could tear and rip a body apart. A truly fearsome ability. His attacker grinned. "So, you're the guy Lord Dahak mentioned." Said a man with black hair and brown eyes.

He nods. "Though I have to wonder why you attacked me, Allen." He said as he stared at his future comrade. Given the description from his leader he was sure the both of them would make a decent team with his wind and Allen's Flames.

"Ah. Don't be like that, Adrian. I just wanted to see if you were as great as lord Dahak said. I can see why he values you so much. Not just anybody can block an attack from me like that. I'm impressed." Said Allen

Adrian revealed a cocky grin. "c'mon, we have much to speak about."

"I'm sure we do; I have a suggestion and it regards the both of us." Said Allen

Adrian stared at him for a few moments before nodding. He was curious about this suggestion of his but for now that could wait. When Allen followed after him, he led him inside his car where he drove them to where his boss was. The Drive itself only took ten minutes or so.

The new recruit looked at the surroundings around him, they seemed to be at some abandoned construction site. Allen had to admit that was a pretty smart idea for a hideout. Getting out of the car he followed after Adrian who led him deep inside the construction site. There was a series of ladders which led them up to a platform where Dahak was waiting for them.

"I see your mission was successful." Dahak said. "You did well, Adrian."

"I aim to please, my Lord."

Dahak smiled and glanced at the latest recruit to their cause. "I've spoken to you briefly yesterday, so you've decided then?"

"Yes. I'll gladly join you. I remember you mentioning using our power to subdue New York and control everyone within the city but then what?"

Dahak chuckled. "That's the goal yes, however before that I plan to take over Detroit."

"This is the first I'm hearing of this. When did you decide this?" Adrian asked.

Dahak looked at Adrian. "Since the very beginning. I think it would be wise to have allies in multiple places, no such thing as being too careful." He spoke.

"I won't question you're Judgement my lord but when will we carry out this plan?"

"In about a week."

"I see."

"Adrian. I see you have something to say. You're more than welcome to speak your mind." Dahak said.

the brunette nods. "Yes sir, I figured since me and Adrian will be working together, we could do some training, for teamwork purposes of course." He spoke.

"Interesting. With you guys' abilities you'd make an impressive team indeed, very well. I'll make some arrangements."

Adrian and Allen looked at each other and smiled before turning and looking at their leader, he began to speak about the plan in further detail. Dahak explained that in order to complete the plan they would have to eliminate the police and military forces around New York and Detroit because if they didn't, they'd face resistance but before that they would see if they could gather allies. They'd need numbers if they were to pull off this plan of theirs. They could use all the power they could get and anybody that got in their way would be eliminated no matter what, Dahak made that very clear.
