Chapter 19

Internships

Before long it was time for them to start their week of internships. Bakugo didn't seemed thrilled he wouldn't see Freya for a week, but Freya was looking forward to this internship. They had walked to the trainstation together before the time they were suppose to be there. Freya stood with Yaoyorozu as she held her briefcase.

"Everyone has their costumes, right? Remember, you don't have permission to wear them out in public yet, and don't lose them or anything." Aizawa said.

"Gotcha!" Mina said, throwing her briefcase above her head.

"Speak properly! It's "Yes, sir," Ashido." Aizawa said. Mina lowered her briefcase.

"Yes, sir." Mina said. Aizawa looked at all his students.

"Make sure you mind your manners with the other heroes during your internships. Now get to it." Aizawa said.

"Yes, sir." The Students say.

"Brat." Bakugo said, coming oveor as her and Yaoyorozu went to get on their train.

"I'll meet you by the train." Yaoyorozu said. Bakugo came up to her.

"Have fun with Best Jeanest." Freya said.

"Tch. Stay out of trouble and try and call me when your not busy." Bakugo said. Freya stood on her toes and pressed a kiss to his lips. He returned it.

"I will. See you in a week." Freya said as she ran to get on her train. Her and Yaoyorozu got on their train. Freya looked out the window as the train traveled to their destination with her earbuds in listening to music. Yaoyorozu was looking through a book across from her. Freya had her head against the window as she stared out.

They arrived at their stop and got off and head to where they were to suppose to meet Uwabami which was a TV Station. Yaoyorozu and Freya had to change into their costumes before they went to see Uwabami. Uwabami was waiting for them when they came to see her. She explained stuff of the agency.

"Additionally, heroes are allowed to have side jobs. There were a lot of arguments about this when the world of pros was first being established, but hte heroes ended up being so popular that the public demanded it. For example:" Uwabami started applying her makeup. "I'm about to film a comercial. Stick around, okay?"

"I was kinda hoping I'd see something a little more action.." Freya thought.

"They sure put that together fast. This is just the first cut, so it'll be another month before it airs."

"No." Freya looked at Yaoyorozu in surprise. "This sort of attention is something you can't avoid if you want to go pro. Besides, she was kind enough to offer her wisdom to an unworthy, student. So I'll take every lesson she has to give."

'She's really into this.' Freya thought. Freya sighed.

"Okay. But isn't there anything else we can do while you film this commercial, or whatever?" Freya asked, looking at Uwabami. Uwabami stood up.

"Do you know why I chose to recruit you two? Any guess?" Uwabami asked.

"Well, I guess.." Freya started.

"it must be because you saw such heroic potential in us!" Yaoyorozu said.

"Of course I did. But there's another reason." Uwabami said.

"Huh?" Freya and Yaoyorzu asked

"You're both very cute young ladies." Uwabami said. Freya and Yaoyozu shared looks. "You both are going to be in the comercial. Get makeup and hair done." Yaoyorozu nearly jumped in the seat.

"I don't do makeup." Freya said.

"Come over and I'll help, Freya." Yaoyorzu said. Freya knew she had no choice and came over to sit. Yaoyorzu helped get the makeup on her face.

Later that afternoon after shooting the comercial and doing some photoshoots where Freya and Yaoyorzu almost were like personal assistants to the Snake Hero. Uwabami and the girls watch the comercial as they come up with the first cut. The comercial was about Hair Spray. Freya didn't like her hairstyle, but had to admit the comercial wasn't that bad.

'Pretty sure I'm not gonna hear the end of this from my father.' Freya thought.

"They sure put that together fast. This is just the first cut, so it'll be another month before it airs. It needs lots of CGI." Uwabami said. Yaoyorzu was glaring at the floor. Freya looked at her friend.

"So weird. We'll be on TV." Freya said.

"We're heroes. This is just what it takes to be a Pro." Yaoyorzu said. Uwabami stood up.

"So, how about we go patrol." Uwabami said. The girls gasp and run after their teacher.

Later that night. Freya laid on the bed she'll be using for the next week to sleep, scrolling through the news. She had messaged Bakugo to see if he was free to talk. After a long day, she missed her boyfriend. Freya laid her phone on her chest as she looked at the ceiling. She felt her phone vibrate. It was a message from Izuku with a location in Hosu City.

'I don't know what your doing, Deku, but I'm sorry. I can't help.' Freya thought. Her phone finally went off.

"I chose the wrong agency." Bakugo growled.

"Hmm. What happened?" Freya asked. Bakugo was silent. "Katsuki. You don't say something like that without an explanation."

"Denim Head wanted me so he can see if he can tame me." Bakugo growled. Freya snorted.

"Well you do have a temper." Freya said. Bakugo growled. He knew she was right and didn't argue.

"Plus I can't get my hair back to the way it use to be." Bakugo grumbled.

"What happened to your hair. Wait. I'll call you back on video chat. I got to see this." Freya said.

"Wait.." Freya hung up before he could finish. Freya called him on Video chat. He answered. Freya stared for a moment, not sure whether or not she was dreaming or not. She started laughing hard. "It's not funny." Bakugo's hair was not spikey like it normally was. It was gelled back and laying flat. "Plus he's making me wear jeans instead of my normal pants.

'Oh I'm taking a screenshot and sending this to Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari. They are going to love this.' Freya thought. She quickly and secretly took a screenshot of Bakugo with his hair.

"I think it looks good on you. You should leave it." Freya said. Bakugo glared at her. She quickly made a group message with Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero and sent the message.

"I'm gonna get it back to normal. How is your internship going?" Bakugo asked.

"Pretty much been an assistant to the Snake Hero, plus me and Yaoyorzu were in a commercial." Freya said.

"I like to see that. Your dad isn't gonna be to happy about it." Bakugo said.

"I don't think so." Freya said. Bakugo's eyes suddenly widened.

"Why am I getting a phone call from Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero?" Bakugo growled.

"I sent a screenshot of your hair to the three." Freya said with a evil grin.

"Freya. I'm.."

"Got to go. Have fun showing the boys." Freya said and quickly hung up on him with a satisified grin on her face. Bakugo answered to see his friends.

"DUDE. Your hair. Freya wasn't joking." Sero said. Kirishima and Kaminari were laughing.

'She's lucky I like her, or I would kill her.' Bakugo grumbled as he hung up on his friends.
