Chapter 27
Heading for Camp
The day they were to leave for camp. Freya had her duffle bag packed and some games for her and the girls to play at night before bed. Freya was excited to spend the time with her friends out in the wild. Freya's father told her the Wild, Wild Pussycats were helping with the camp, but don't say anything to the others.
Freya stood with Jiro and Mina with the rest of their class as they stood in a line in front of Aizawa.
"Now that you've finished up your first semester at UA High, it's time for summer vacation to officially begin. However... Don't think these will be months of rest for you heroes in the making. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limits. You're aiming to become Plus Ultra!" Aizawa said.
"Yes, sir!" Students said. Uraraka runs forward.
"I'm so pych." Uraraka said. She starts talking to Izuku.
"I'm excited for this camp. It should be fun." Freya said.
"It should be fun." Mina said. Uraraka comes running back, red in the face. Freya wondered what happened.
"Let's hear it for camp!" Uraraka said. Mina pulled Freya with her as they started clapping their hands and dancing along with Kaminari.
"Yeah! Camp! Camp! Camp! Camp!" Freya, Mina, Kaminari, and Uraraka yelled. Bakugo stood with his arms crossed watching the three.
"Tch." Bakugo said.
"I heard some of Class A is taking extra courses." The four stopped and turned to see Class B standing there with Monoma doing the talking. Freya glared at him. "Does that mean they actually failed the final exams?" He gasps. "That must be so embarrassing. Especially since you're supposed to be so much better then my class. All of you must be wallowing in shame!" Kendo hits Monoma in the head and he falls to the ground. Kendo picks him up.
"Don't mind him!" Kendo said and drags him away.
"Oh. The rest of Class B!" Izuku said.
"It's nice to see you outside of the Sports Festival. I guess now we're not technically rivals." Tokage said.
"Time to get on the bus!" Kendo called. Class 1-B starts running for their bus. Minetta was freaking out about girls from both classes. Kirishima shook his head at the boy.
"Brat. Your sitting with me." Bakugo said.
"Of course." Freya said.
"Attention, Class A, our bus is here. Everyone line up in seating order." Iida said. Freya stood in front of Bakugo and they all get on the bus. Freya sat near the window as the bus starts going. Freya laid her head on Bakugo's shoulder as he sat with his earphones in. He grabbed her hand and held it as Freya closed her eyes.
"Here's the deal. We'll be on this bus about an hour before our first stop." Aizawa said. He looked back. "Make sure you stay focused."
"Why aren't we blasting some music?" Kaminari called. Aoyoma was standing. Bakugo laid his head on Freya's head as she dozed off.
"No one should be standing!" Iida called. Bakugo sighed. "That is a safety hazard! Please stay seated." Aizawa sighed. He saw most of his students behaving along with his daughter while others were talking.
"Why do I bother? Well, I guess this is the only time they'll have to fool around." Aizawa said as he turned to the front.
An hour later. The bus came to a stop at an area. Everyone got off the bus. Freya yawned as she stood with Bakugo and Kirishima. Mineta was running around like a crazy boy tryin to find a bathroom.
"Finally. I needed off that bus." Kaminari said.
"Let me get through, I gotta pee!" Mineta said.
"Huh. This isn't much of a rest area." Kirishima said. Freya saw a car sitting there.
"No. And where's Class B?" Jiro asked.
"You don't really think we stopped here just so you could stretch your legs, do you?" Aizawa said. Jiro, Uraraka, and Tsu gasped. Freya stood with her arms crossed.
"Please, sir, the toilet." Mineta said. The car doors to the other door opened.
"Heya, Eraser!" Mandalay voice came.
"Long time no see." Aizawa said, bowing. Mandalay and Pizie-Bob came out with Kota, who didn't look happy. Freya sent him a smile. He shook his head at her and looked away.
'Well. He hasn't changed much.' Freya thought.
"Your feline fantasies are here. Say, meow." Mandalay said.
"Purrfectly cute and catlike girls!" Pixie-Bob said.
"You can call us. The Wild, Wild Pussycats!" Both said doing their famous poses. The Students stared in shock while Izuku and Freya stood smiling.
"These are the pro heroes you'll be workng with at the summer training camp. Izuku jumps with excitement and Freya couldn't help but chuckle at his fan boyness.
"They're a four-peerson hero team who specialize in mountain rescues! The Pussycats were founded when we were kids, like forever ago!" Izuku said. Pizie-Bob and Mandalay gasp. "This marks their 12th year working as a..." Pixie-Bob puts a hand over Izuku's face.
"I'm pretty sure your math must be off. I'm 18 at heart." Pixie-Bob said.
"Hey Kota." Freya said, heading over to the kid. "You doing alright?"
"Swell." Kota said, not looking at her. Freya hadn't seen him since his parents died and Mandalay brought her over to meet him to see if she could help him cope since she lost her mother. She couldn't help much.
"Everyone, say hello." Aizawa said.
"Hello." Everyone said. Freya goes to stand with the others. Mandalay walks to the railing and points out.
"We own this whole stretch of land out here. Everything you can see. The summer camp you're staying at is there at the base of the moutain." Mandalay said.
"That's far." Students say.
'Oh crap.' Freya thought.
"Uh. Then why did we stop all teh way up here instead?" Uraraka said.
"I'm afraid we both know the answer to that." Tsu said.
"That can't be right." Seto said. Sero laughs nervously.
"Um. Back on the bus. Quick. Let's go." Sero said.
"Good idea. Load up." Kaminari said.
"The current time is 9:30 in the morning." Mandalay said with her tail wagging. "If you're fast about it, you might make it there by noon."
"No way. Guys!" Kirishima said.
"Holy crap!" Mina said.
"Save yourselves." Kaminari said. Students start running for the bus, but Freya, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Izuku.
"Kitties who don't make it there by 12:30 won't get any lunch." Mandalay said.
"You should have guessed, students." Aizawa said. Freya looked at her father as Pixi-Bob jumps in front of the students making them gasp. "The Training Camp has already begun." Pixie-Bob sent the earth moving and it swept up all the Students. Freya yelped as she was sent flying with all her friends.
"What the heck?!" Uraraka yelled.
"Dad! Seriously!" Freya yelled.
"She must be controlling the ground!" Izuku yelled. Bakugo grabbed Freya's arm and pulled her to him and flipped so he took the impact of the ground.
"Thank you." Freya said as he grunted in pain. Freya rolled off and knelt on the ground.
"Good news! Since this is private land, you can use your Quirks as much as you want to. You've got three full hours. You should be able to make it to the facility in that time. That is, if you can get through the Beast's Forest." Mandalay said. The Students turn to the Forest and gasp.
"The Beast's Forest?!" Izuku said. Bakugo pulled Freya to her feet.
"That sound's like a name right out of a fantasy game." Kirishima said.
"Why do we keep falling for Aizawa's little tricks?" Jiro asked. Kirishima brushed off dirt.
"I guess there's no use complaining. Might as well get going." Kirishima said. Mineta goes running towards the woods. A stomping comes and Freya looks up to see a Monster standing in front of Mineta, growling. Kaminari and Sero screams like girls
"We're all gonna die!" Kaminari and Sero shout. Izuku takes off as the Beast roars and lifts its paw. Koda runs towards it with his arms out.
"Please calm yourself my giant friend! You don't wanna hurt them!" Koda calls. Freya and Bakugo run towards the giant as it brings its paw down. Izuku grabs Mineta and pulls him out of the way.
"Koda can't control it." Freya said.
"I see that." Bakugo called.
"It's one of Pixie-Bobs creations. We'll have to fight to get through them." Freya called. Iida and Todoroki were right behind them. Freya's hands glowed as the creature advanced on Izuku and Mineta. It hit her forcefield. "Move now. It won't stand much." Izuku glowed up as Green lightning surrounded him. Todoroki sent ice towards the monster and it wrapped around its legs. Freya left an opening but left to keep the beast contained as Iida goes flying.
"Recipro burst!" Iida yelled. He kicks the monster in the head.
"I'll kill you!" Bakugo yelled and hits the monster with a blast. The Beast roars as Iida and Bakugo land on the ground. Izuku collides with it an destroys it.
"You guys took that beast down in seconds." Seto said.
"It was awesome." Sero said.
"You showed that thing who's boss." Kirishima said, looking at Bakugo. Bakugo and Freya stood looking into the woods.
"We're not done." Freya said. Kirishima gasped. More Beasts were starting to form.
"More are coming." Bakugo called.
"Hey. Come on. Don't you think this is a little unfair?" Kaminari said.
"What now? Do we run?" Mina asked.
"Not good. If we don't make it to the camp fast enough, then we won't get anything to eat." Seto said.
"He's right. We have no choice but to cut thruogh these woods using the shortest possible route." Yaoyorozu said.
"Ribbit." Tsu said.
"Alright. Let's go. Class A!" Iida yelled.
"Yeah!" Everyone yelled. Shoji used his eyes to look ahead.
"I spot three up ahead. And two flasing each side." Shoji said. Jiro was listening with her earlobes in a tree.
"So seven total. They're coming!" Jiro called.
"Freya. Can you erase them?" Iida asked.
"It won't work on them. Pixi-Bob is controlling them. I can help where needed with my force Quirk." Freya said. A flying Beast was coming towards them. Sero was using his tape to get up to it.
"Alright. I've got this one!" Sero said. Sero wraps his tape around the wings and brings it down to the ground with a huge thump. "Sato! Kirishima!" Sato tosses Sugar Cubes into his mouth. Sato and Kirishima harden their bodies. They start punching the monster till it was nothing but dust. Tokoyami, Ojiro, and Aoyoma destroy another one. Mineta was throwing balls at one beast.
"Mineta. Get out of the way." Kaminari said as he jumped onto the back. Electric surrounds him. "One point three million volts!" Kaminaria shouted. Kaminari sends electric through it and the Beast is destroyed. Kaminari started acting like his dumb self. Koda called the birds to him and had them attack the Beast. Mina ran over and used acid to melt the rocks. Hagakure distracted one monster as Mina used acid on another. Freya put up a Force shield around Hagakure and Mina as Yaoyorozu destroyed them with a cannon she made.
"That was amazing, Momo." Mina said. Uraraka floats one of the beasts up in the air and Tsu grabs it with her tongue. It floats in the air and Uraraka releases it. The Beast falls to the ground.
"There's more closing in!" Shoji called. Bakugo blasts towards it. Todoroki uses ice to stop one. The Beast Roars. Bakugo and Todoroki were running towards it.
"You're in way there, Icy Hot!" Bakugo yelled.
"Then pick another route." Todoroki said. Iida and Izuku ran towards the beasts.
"Midoriya. Now!" Iida called.
"Right!" Izuku said. He used the trees to jump towards the Beasts and smashes through them. The Beast kept coming, but the Students kept fighting as they ran towards the camp.
Sunset. Aizawa, Mandalay, and Pixie-Bob stood waiting outside the compound.
"Ha! The litter is almost here." Pixie-Bob said.
"That took a lot longer than expected." Mandalay said. The Students came walking out of the woods. Most were worn out but they were covered in scratches and bruises. Bakugo had his arm wrapped around Freya, who had a slight limp from twisting her ankle. Iida was dragging one of his legs. Everyone stops in front of their teachers and sigh in relief.
"You said it would only be like, three hours." Sero said.
"I guess we timed it based on how long we'll get here. Sorry." Mandalay said.
"Now you're bragging about how much better you are? That's so mean!" Sato said.
"I'm starving. This is hell." Kirishima said. Freya sits on the ground and looks at her ankle. Bakugo stood next to her.
"Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow! I thought it would take you kids even longer. But, you did much better against my dirt monsters then I thought you would. You guys were seriously great." Pixie-Bob said. She pointed at Bakugo, Todoroki, Iida, and Izuku. "Especially the four of you. It seems like you've had quite a bit of experience." She licks her lips. She flies towards the four and Freya moved out of the way. "I call dibs on these kittens. I'll groom them myself." She starts kissing the four. The four cover their faces as Bakugo growls. Kirishima helps Freya up.
"Mandalay. Has she always been like this?" Aizawa asked.
"It's gotten worse lately. She's at the age to take a mate." Mandalay said. Freya grabs Bakugo and pulls him away cause he was looking madder.
"Thank you." Bakugo said.
"Uh. Speaking of people's ages." Izuku saisd. Pixie-Bob puts a paw on his mouth.
"Choose your words carefully, boy." Pixie-Bob said.
"I've just been wondering since we got here earlier." Izuku said. He points at Kota. "Who is that kid? What's he doing here?"
"Oh, this little guy? He's my cousin's son. He lives with us now?" Mandalay said. Kota was glaring at the class. "Don't be shy, Kota. Say hi to everyone. You're gonna be around them for the next week." Izuku walked up to Kota.
"Hey there. My name's Midoriya. I'm from UA High School hero course." Izuku said. He held out his hand for Kota. "It's nice to meet you!" The girls flinch as Kota punches Izuku right where it hurt.
"Ouch." Freya said as Izuku screams in pain. Iida catches Izuku.
"What a low blow! Fou fiend of a child! A punch to the scrotum is unforgiveable." Iida yelled as Kota walked away. Kota glares at Iida.
"The last thing I want is to hang with some wannabe heroes." Kota said.
"Wannabe?! How old are you, kid?" Iida said. Bakugo had a smirk on his face.
"That brat's got spunk." Bakugo said.
"He's like a mini version of you." Todoroki said. Freya snorted as Bakugo turned on Todoroki.
"What are you talking about?" Bakugo yelled. He stormed towards Todoroki. "You need to shut your mouth before I blast you all the way to hell."
"Katsuki." Freya growled.
"Enough playing around. Get your stuff off the bus. Once your bags are in your rooms, we'll have dinner in the cafeteria. After that, you can bathe and sleep. Tomorrow your training starts in earnest." Aizawa said. Some of the students groan. "You'd better get a move on."
In the Cafeteria. Freya sat next to Bakugo in front of all the food. It looked so good. Freya starts grabbing for food.
"So you girls got stuck in a tiny little bunk room, didn't ya?" Sero asked.
"Why? Is the guys room really big?" Jiro asked.
"Oh yeah? So, like, can I come check it out later or what?" Mina asked. Bakugo was stuffing his face with the food.
"Sure. Whenever you want." Sero said. Kirishima and Kaminari were eating like crazy as Pixie-Bob and Mandalay ran around delivering the food. Izuku was sitting next to Freya watching Kota walk away carrying a box of veggies.
Bath time. Freya sunk into the hot water and sighed. After long hours of fighting it was nice to relax her sore body in the hot springs. The girls were on one side and the boys on the other side.
"So, Freya. How do you know that young kid?" Mina asked.
"Mandalay called for me to see if I could help him with the death of his parents since I lost my mom. Plus I'm good with kids. I couldn't do much but he took a liking to me." Freya said.
"You do seem good with kids." Yaoyorozu said. Mina sent a splash towards them and they got into a water fight.
Bakugo leaned against a rock, enjoying the bath. He could hear Freya's laugh from the other side of the wall. He closed his eyes as the boys talked. Mineta stood in front of the wall.
"The food and stuff was fine, but to be honest, I'm hungry for something else. Just one little wall. A few pieces of wood. And heaven's waiting on the other side. A bath full of boobs and babes ready to be seen by yours truly." Mineta said. The boys stopped turning and Bakugo kept his eyes closed like he wasn't listening.
"Are you over there talking to yourself again, Mineta?" Izuku said. Mineta leaned against the wall.
"This feels amazing!" Mina said.
"It does." Freya said.
"I'm so glad they've got a hot springs here!" Jiro said.
"Bathe, my angels! How stupid of them not to stagger the times that we'd be naked next to each other. I hope they never learn from their mistakes." Mineta said.
"It's to much for him!" Kaminari said. Iida stands up and starts yelling. Kirishima noticed Bakugo not paying attention as Mineta got a dreamy look on his face.
"Bakugo. Are you concerned what Mineta is gonna do?" Kirishima asked sliding over to him.
"Don't care what the pervert thinks." Bakugo said as Mineta reached for his balls and starts to climb the wall with Iida standing under him.
"Dude. He's about to see your girlfriend naked!" Kirishima said. Bakugo felt rage fill him and turns to see Mineta climbing and getting closer to the top. Bakugo saw red.
"Get your ass back down here, you purple pervert or I will kill you!" Bakugo yelled. Mineta ignored Bakguo as he got near. Bakugo stood up, but saw Kota standing at the top.
"Before you become a hero, you should learn how to be a good human." Kota said. He smacked Mineta in the head and Mineta fell towards the ground.
"I'll get you for this!" Mineta yelled. He lost his towel and fell on Iida's face. They fall into the water.
"Hmph." Kota said.
"Thank you Kota!" Freya called.
"Mineta really is the worst, isn't he?" Tsu called.
"Thanks so much, Kota, babe!" Mina called. Kota looked over at the girls side. Mina was sitting on the rock and the girls were in the water, looking up at him. "We owe you one."
Freya's eyes widen as Kota fell over.
"Oh no." Freya said. She heard Izuku catch the boy. She sighed.
"HEY. OW." Mineta said.
"Bakugo let him go!" Iida called.
"Looks like Bakugo is dealing with Mineta for us." Jiro said as a splash comes and a yelp comes.
"You have a very protective boyfriend. Glad we have him as well." Yaoyorozu said. Freya smiled.
Kirishima and Kaminari had to pull Bakugo off Mineta as he tried to drown Mineta in the hot spring.
"Little proctective of the girls?" Kirishima asked.
"Yeah, dude. You don't need a murder record on you before you become a Pro." Kaminari said. Bakugo ripped his arms free from his friends.
"It's nothing the Pervert deserves." Bakugo growled as he went back to sit in the hot water as Izuku took Kota in by Mandalay.
Afterwards. Freya came out of the bath as the other girls soaked yet. Bakugo was to meet her and they were going for a walk. Bakugo stepped out of the house.
"You didn't kill Mineta, have you?" Freya asked as he took her hand and they headed for the trail.
"Sadly not. That little shit came close to seeing you naked." Bakugo said.
"Awe. You do care about me and the others dignity." Freya said.
"Shut up, Brat. You better not tell the others I care." Bakugo growled. Freya pulled him into a stop in a clearing where the stars shown bright.
"You do care about everyone besides me. Need to lighten up at times." Freya said.
"Tch. Only for you, Brat." Bakugo said. Freya wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. Bakugo pulled her into a hug and returned the kiss. The stars shown bright overhead.
That night. Freya fell asleep with a smile on her face. Cards laid spread by the girls heads after a fun night of games, but they all collapsed from Exhautan. The Camp was about to start early in the morning.
AN: Loved this episode especially the bath scene. Mineta is just horrible. Till next time.
