Author's Sheepish Note:

Happy New Year everyone.
So my PLAN for this year was to publish Surviving Saiyan Z on the 8th of January.

I have been thinking a lot of how I want the story to go, a few chapters are already written.
But something that I really want to do with it requires me to retcon a few chapters in Surviving Saiyans.

Not just Retcon, but actually, Add a few chapters.
I hope you can be excited for that instead of mad at me for not having Surviving Saiyan Z ready on time.

To catch you all up to speed,
The New series of events changes AFTER Rhuba and Garagus leave the repair station. Everything before that is still as it was.

Immediately after leaving the station, the new cannon that Rhuba and Garagus went into status again for 10 years to put extra distance between themselves and Freeza.
They'll arrive on Alria just as before, with a few minor changes to how they think and talk about past events (Months ago becoming years ago, etc) Now, I'll do my best to find every reference to what happened in the station and correct it to being a decade prior, but chances are I'll miss some. You can help and reassure me an awful lot by telling me in private messages if you happen to see any mistakes referring to the past lore, as opposed to the new lore.

Chapter 27: Stampede, is being pushed to a later number, and some changes will happen from the fallout of the events.
The structure of the chapters after that is still up in the air but pretty much all of it should remain the same.

You might read the new chapters and think to yourself, "whyyyyyyy? It doesn't change Anything!"

And trust me, I am asking myself the same thing. I could save myself so much hassle if I just chopped my hands off and left well enough alone.
But... Did you know Bardoc was a famous scientist? Yeah. It's not a Dragon Ball story unless I retcon something for seemingly no reason. But trust me. There's a reason.
And trust me again. It could change, everything.

My hope is that eventually, ya'll reading Surviving Saiyan Z will reach the moment of revelation and do that De Caprio meme where he points at the tv and be like;
"Awwwww, that's clever. What a twist. With such interesting ramifications and implications about past events"

For the time being, I'm taking down the chapters after Chapter 26: Early Birth?, So I can review and make necessary changes.
But I'm not going to make you wait for them.
As soon as the new chapters are out and I'm happy with them, I'll publish Chapter 26-Epilogue on the same day as the latest New entry, then Surviving Saiyan Z will follow after.
The only reason I won't publish them all at once is IF another chapter becomes necessary somewhere in the middle, which I don't see happening. There isn't really room for something like that to happen between them leaving Arlia and the story ending. By that point I've told everything I need to, so I don't know. I'm sorry if any of you liked rereading those chapters in particular, Fanfic has only JUST started showing the viewer count so I have no idea if I'm about to temporarily remove the 4 most popular chapters of my story so far.

So while you're waiting for New SS content, perhaps I can turn your attention to Quotve where I have some lovely Doki Doki Literature Club content.
