I don't own MHA/BnHA

"Wasn't it Deku?"

A green haired boy in a girl's uniform asked themselves while staring at their smartphone.

This is Himiko Toga, she had transformed into the Deku guy, and is now walking home. Earlier she took a picture of his school ID, and was now perusing it. Turns out he has a different name.

She still blushed when she thought about the naughty thing she did. Sure, she's taken blood before in secret, and that was a thrill of its own, but this was the first time she actually took blood while the other person was fully aware of her actions (just not her motivation). She stole blood from a person in front of them and in full view!

Though she enjoyed the guy's struggle, she was glad that the guy passed out, for whatever reason he did. Though his blood was very yummy, she really didn't want to deal with him when he woke up. So she piled all his stuff next him, quickly and with little care, and walked away.

She sighed as she walked home. Her mother was going to throw a hissy fit, she just knew it.

Though, with the bit of blood she indulged in, she figures she could probably weather it better.

She was wrong.

Not only had her mother been furious, so was her father, and it was her father who decided to discipline her.

Meaning that she is now kneeling on the hardwood floor in front of her father.

With her mother, she could just play footsies with herself and take her mind off whatever her mother would say...or runaway. But she was still a bit hyper from the blood, and being told to kneel and not move from a hard surface was basically torment for Himiko in her current hyperactive state.

She's been kneeling for a good deal of time and her knees were really starting to hurt and not in a way that got her blood pumping.

"Don't slouch," her father said tensely as he glared at her from the kitchen table. Tonight's a night he brought his work home, he situated himself across from Himiko to be able to glance at her. Whenever he felt, or noticed, that Himiko was not kneeling the way he liked, he rectified it.

His glare sharpened.

Himiko straightened her posture.

Satisfied, her father went back to looking at his laptop. That continued for another few minutes before he spoke.

"We're paying for quirk counseling," he began, "we're paying for your education, and we're putting a roof over your head and keeping you well fed. All you have to do is get good grades, keep your living space clean, and stay out of trouble. It's why we got you counseling, so that you can become a normal, respectable, member of society. We're not asking for the world, we're asking you to step up as our oldest daughter and commit to your responsibilities. That means applying yourself, Himiko. You're a Toga, you better damn well act like it! Understood?"

"Yes father," Himiko replied.

Her father said nothing, content to having her continue to kneel. He continued to type and read a few documents in front of him.

Eventually he checked his watch, she forgot the brand name, she just knew it was an expensive one that actually looked nice.

"Is your homework done?" He asked.

"No," she answered. Her father angrily sucked on his teeth before she could explain that she didn't have a chance to work on it yet on account of being punished.

"School work, then bed," he said as he resumed typing, "it better be done by the time I head up to bed, or so help me god, I will make you regret being lazy."

"Yes father."

She held her breath when she heard the door knob slowly turn. Her phone quickly went underneath her pillow.

She made sure her face was visible and that her eye's we closed by the time her door silently creaked open.

Slowly, she inhaled making sure her chest slowly rose and fell as she pretended to be asleep. She heard the door close, but she still didn't open her eyes. She kept acting as if she were asleep.

She could hear her door slowly creak open again before closing, but it was too short of a time for someone to go in and out.

So she continued pretending to be sound asleep.

After a minute, she heard the door swing open, a little less quiet, and the door closed again followed by soft footsteps moving away from her room.

She took a deep breath, opening her eyes and looked up at her dark ceiling, the only sound she could hear was the ac unit softly cooling the room.

This type of thing was the norm in her household ever since she brought them a pretty birdy covered in it's own crimson goodness, right before the nature of her quirk became apparent.

After that revelation, her parents started doing damage control right away, starting with the name of her quirk.

Whenever the subject came up, her mother always said: "it's transformation, but it requires very specific conditions, quite troublesome really," and moved the topic away from the fact that her quirk requires blood to work.

"Transformation" sounds like a fantastic name, hence why her parents chose it, and Himiko never minded it. Although...every once in a while, she did wonder what she would change the name to if she could….

Himiko took her phone back out and brought up the picture she took.

Again, her mind went back to Satou when she saw his face. The Deku named Izuku Midoriya ID card, right by the section where his quirk would be listed, says "N/A," meaning Not Applicable. In other words:

"Quirkless," Himiko said aloud.

She heard it before when she saw the blond Kacchan punch him, the memory of violence sending a pleasant shiver down her spine, but it didn't sink in until she saw his ID.

She heard the over exaggerations of people saying they're "quirkless" because a quirk is weak or useless, but this was the first time she actually met(kinda) someone who really is genuinely quirkless. And she took his blood in front of him without asking….

She hugged her pillow at that particular memory. It made her feel guilty in a weird way, but...she kinda wanted to do it again~

The blood was good, it gave her a rush and made her feel good inside, magic in all but name. But the way he struggled in her grasp, how she overpowered him...it made the experience feel even better!

The very thought of doing the act again made her cheeks heat up with intensity~

Still, that weird guilt...she didn't like it and she wasn't quite sure how she was going to get over it….

"AH-damn it!" she heard her father curse from the bathroom. She normally didn't wake up at this hour but that was loud. Her father got up earlier for his work and shaved, daily.

"Hon, you're going to be late!" She heard her mother shout.

"I know, I know," she could hear her father rush out the washroom and down the stairs. Her parents were the type to prefer freshening up their faces in the morning and then washing their bodies at night when they return home. Himiko is the opposite, shower in the morning, remove the day's grime at home, and maybe a bath to finish the day.

"Oh you-" she heard her mother begin in surprise as Himiko made her way to the washroom.

"Yeah, but I don't have time. My quirk will deal with it, in the meantime, how do I look?"

"Charming as ever, but with a cut."

"Good, do you need a ride?"

"If you would so kindly," she replied instead of just saying: "yes."

And like that she heard her parents walk out the door as Himiko made it to the washroom. It didn't take long for her to realize why her father cursed. He accidently cut himself while shaving.

She got into said washroom and noticed that her father forgot his phone. She heard the garage door open and the car backing out. She was partly tempted to rush downstairs in her PJ's to get her father his phone.

She didn't. And it wasn't revenge for her punishment the night before, honest.

After she was sure the car left, she grabbed the phone. She peeked into the wastebasket, sure enough, there was tissue paper in it with red stains.

She smiled as an idea occurred to her. She didn't like her guilty feeling and she didn't know how to make it go away, but she was sure she knew a good way to start.

"Ar-are you sure?" The man at the other end of the line asked, not completely able to suppress his exasperation.

"It's not me, it's my daughter," Himiko replied in her father's voice, doing her best to mimic his flat tone while fighting off the slowly creeping smile from her transformed face. "Look, I'm busy today and I'm not even the witness. I'll have my daughter come down to your institute right after she gets out of school today, then you can judge for yourself the validity of her testimony. How does that sound?"

"Ah, Yes, Mr. Toga, Sir, that will be just fine, th-thankyou," the nervous man on the other end of the line.

The two quickly exchange polite goodbyes and hang up, just in time too, her transformation wore off.

Her transformation melted off her skin and into the tub she was sitting in. She turned the shower on and began to freshen up while getting rid of the evidence her quirk left behind.

After a quick shower she got dressed.

She quickly toasted a slice of bread, jammed it up, and gobbled it down with a glass of milk. She debated packing herself something quick for lunch, but her sister's footsteps decided that for her.

She quickly walked out the door while doing a mental tally of what was in her wallet, hoping she had enough money on hand to buy something at school.

School was a haze for her, she barely noticed that she arrived at school with her friends. The day sort of melted away for a bit.

Her thoughts kept going back to the taste of that quirkless, green haired, Satou-lookalike's blood.

The thought keeps making her blush a little.

"Mm, you should really eat more, Toga." When one of her friends said that, Himiko's stomach growled in response. Himiko blushed a little in embarrassment while her friends laughed.

They had situated themselves in a small corner of their school's courtyard and decided to eat lunch together. Toga didn't have much change on hand for much, so in addition to her regular cravings, hunger is now tacked onto it. Her stomach growled again.

"Wow, Toga, even your body agrees!" Another one of her friends exclaimed.

"Muuu," she groaned, "I'll eat more, I was just in a rush this morning," Himiko quickly gave an excuse.

"Yo," a familiar voice said as a simple sandwich was moved to her view.

"Eh? Knowman?" Toga looked up to see the blond handing her a sandwich.

"That's my nickname, feel free to wear it out," he joked lightly with a small smile, "C'mon, eat up, Himiko."

"Thanks!" Himiko said as she accepted the food and quickly began to wolf it down, ignoring the swooning noises her friends were making.

"This was all they had left," he said.

"Thanks anyway," she said, "I'll pay you back when I can," Himiko said, more so out of social obligation than a genuine desire to do so, though she will reimburse him.

"I'll hold you to that," he simply said nonchalantly as he sat nearby and pulled out his phone and started playing a game.

"Hey, hey, Knowman, where'd you run off to yesterday?" One of Himiko's friends asked.

"Yeah, even Satou chased after you," another added. Himiko said nothing as she ate her sandwich.

"Oh, nowhere in particular," Knowman answered as ambiguous as he could, though Himiko knew the truth, which made her blush a little.

Himiko's two friends were obviously not satisfied with the answer. However, before they could inquire about it any further, Satou cut in.

"Oh hey, fancy meeting you all here," Satou said as he walked up behind the group, acting as if he didn't approach them because Himiko was there.

Himiko didn't believe that, and she didn't need Knowman's quirk to know that no one in the group did either. But she played along anyway.

"Hello," she said quickly before she resumed eating before her stomach digested itself.

"So, um, Toga," he began a little nervously, "are you busy after school today?"

"Yup," Himiko replied instantly with little mirth in her voice.

Their small corner of the world was silent for a moment, save for Himiko's eating, as the group processed what had happened. Satou had tried to ask her out.

"Oh...okay," Satou said, unable to hide his disappointment. Himiko could hear Knowman's suppressed amusement at Satou's misfortune.

"Um, how about tomorrow?" Satou asked, no doubt in an attempt to try to salvage his proposal. "I mean if you're free we can hang out," he let out lamely.

"That's a great idea!" Knowman said with a lot of energy as he bounced up to his feet. "We can all go to a restaurant together after school! And with exams coming up, we can probably study while we stuff ourselves. It's a lot better than being on our own or being crammed into someone's bedroom."

"HUH?" Satou let out in surprise.

"Ohhh yeah, that does sound good," Himiko said instantly.

"Yeah, that sounds amazing!" one of friends saud

"We should definitely do this! OHHH What if we go to a barbecue, you know, the ones where we cook our own meat?"

"Yeah that sounds awesome!" Himiko agreed.

"Sounds good, don't you agree, Satou?" Knowman asked with a smug smile.

"...sounds good…" Satou let out in a low, defeated, voice.

"Mmmm, still I don't know if I'll be free tomorrow," Himiko said.

"Well it's not like it has to be tomorrow or right away, we should probably plan this out better," Knowman said.

Quickly, the group came up with a way to to meet up to plan the meet up, Himiko wasn't sold on the logic but she just went with the flow. Pretty soon, the bell rang, meaning lunch was over and she had just a few more hours to go.

"Alley oop!" Himiko let out after she climbed out of a window, and quickly snatched onto a thick pipe and went sliding down, using her legs and clothes to slow her decent. A very dangerous and stupid way down, for sure, but Himiko didn't care and she kinda wanted to avoid Satou. The boy was very much intent on trying to get her to go on a date with him, but basically everyone is unintentionally getting in the way.

The thought made her blush again.

Still, she didn't think Knowman had rattled him that much the night before, but it definitely made him motivated. She was just thankful no one noticed that she had swapped her shoes on.

She left through the gate, but not before spotting Satou hanging out by the foot lockers.

She quickly left the area and proceeded to follow her phone's map to a different school.

When she got there, she couldn't help but note the difference between this middle school and hers. It wasn't rundown or anything, but her school was definitely better cared for and more presentable.

She asked around a few students on their way home where the principal's office is. She quickly made her way to the room with little trouble.

"Oh you must be Mr. Toga's Daughter," The principal said as she walked into the room.

"Yes, Himiko Toga, it's a pleasure to meet you," she introduced herself as politely as she could with a slight bow.

"Oh, very polite, well I'm Mr. Anaido," the principal introduced himself, he was thin and lanky man who looked normal if not for the mess on his head that was obviously a brown wig(his sideburns were not quite the same color and the wig was a bit off). "And this is Mr. Tsusubare," The principal introduced a blonde thin man with a chiseled jaw. "You have to pardon us, we were in the middle of a meeting."

"OH! I'm sorry for interrupting-"

"Oh no no no, no need to worry. Mr. Tsusubare here is very familiar with most students. He could probably point out which students you saw fight last night."

"Oh okay," Himiko said.

She began to tell the two older men what saw the night before. As she explained, she noted that both older men began to frown more and more before her story ended.

"And that's it. I went to go see if the green crying guy was alright, but his face suddenly turned red like a tomato and he passed out." Himiko explained while motioning her face. "It was kinda funny, actually. But I had to go home and he didn't seem like he had a concussion, so, I kinda just left him there."

Both The principal and Mr. Tsusu-something sighed.

"Do you think it's-" the principal began but the teacher spoke over him.

"It's not even a question at this point, that definitely Bakugo." The teacher sighed while rubbing his forehead. "And Midoriya showed up to class today, so he didn't suffer anything serious."

"Thank You miss Toga," the principal said. He then let out a warm smile. "You can leave the rest to me. Because of you, a bully is about to face the music."

"R-really?" Himiko let out.

"Yes, you were brave to bring this our attention," the principal said. "And for a stranger no less, that's quite a heroic act, I dare say."

"Mm," Mr. Tsusu-something agreed with a small smile.

"You can leave the rest to us, I promise," The principal said as he looked her in the eyes.

"Okay," Himiko chirped.

Liar, Himiko thought as she smiled.

She said her goodbyes and left the room.

"Give my regards to your father," the principal said.

"Yes sir, I will let him know," Himiko lied as she left the building.

As someone who usually told people what they wanted to hear, it's hard not to become adept at noticing others when they do it. Pretending to fit in, learning what to say and how to say it, reflecting body language back at others; at some point you learn to see yourself in others. There was also other stuff that jumped out at Himiko.

The way the principal and teacher frowned when she added more and more information. They weren't surprised or shocked, just annoyed. It probably wasn't even the first time it happened. The principal let it slip that he knew the students well enough to recognize them from her description rather than letting the teacher identify them first.

There was also the way they reacted when she said that she left an unconscious person alone without so much as calling for help and finding it amusing. Instead of chastising her for her amusement or politely letting her know that she should call or alert someone in the future, they instead praise her.

The praise itself set off a warning in her head. Giving out compliments to make her feel good about herself, mimicking the way she stood. The principal seemed more concerned with making her feel good rather than dealing with the problem. No doubt hoping that she didn't bring it up again.

The principal was definitely a reflection of herself at that time. She didn't like it. Rather than to bask in her reflections, she'd rather bask in the magic her quirk created and transform into the one she loves and admire. Anyone other than herself.

"Hm hm," Himiko hummed out as she explored the area around the school. She didn't feel like going home and she couldn't just go see her therapist, even if she wanted to, since said professional is also dealing with a bunch of other people.

Her true goal was to see if she could find the green haired deku midori-something.

She checked her phone and went to the picture of his ID.

The IZUKU midoriYA, the guy who's blood she took.

Her guilt was gone, she did something about her guilt (though she doubted anything would come of it) and apparently that was enough for her conscious.

The blood she got wasn't much and she wanted to see if she could squeeze more out of the guy~

It's a long shot, but if she could get her own little box of magic juice, the risk would be well worth it!

As she walked out of a store, strawberry milk box in hand, she spotted the guy slowly trudging along, growing while avoiding people's gaze, coming from the direction of the school.

She calmly stabbed the straw into the carton as she watched him slowly pass her. He was so lost in his own little world that he didn't even notice her.

She began to sip her drink as she watched him walk.

Then she began to follow behind him. Right behind him, like literally a foot behind the green haired guy.

She mimicked his step, stepping when he did, and just following along. In a sense, she became his shadow, his steps were her steps, his pace became her pace. This went on for nearly half an hour.

At one point she slurped her drink loudly when her drink got close to empty. The midori-guy didn't even react to the sound!

This is kind of fun, she remarked as they walked up to an apartment complex. It was at this point that she realized that she had basically followed the guy home!

She paused, hesitating to follow the guy any further. The very thought of going into a guy's house with him made her cheeks flush red! And then the possibility that no one was home, that it'd only be the two of them...that go her rushing! Being left alone with a boy, she could practically take all his blood!

That said, it was getting late and she didn't have an excuse on hand to give her parents.

On the other hand, she didn't have anything else to do and the worst thing could happen is that she'd be told to go home by strangers who have absolutely no idea who she is!

Her mind made, she quickened her steps and followed behind the midori-guy and tossed away her empty box into a nearby trash can.

The midori-guy paused in the lobby. He looked at the stairs, then at the elevator.

He looked like he was going to go up the stairs...but he chose the elevator at the last second.

Himiko followed behind him closely.

Her heart beat loudly when they got there, she had no idea how she would sneak in, she was probably going to get noticed.

He moved close to the left so it was possible that the buttons were on the left, she could sneak behind him to his right without him realizing she was following him. But if turned round clockwise, he would spot her.

She held her breath when the elevator dinged open. It was empty. The Midori-guy walked forward, Himiko close behind, and began to rotate counter-clockwise!

Taking her chance she silently snuck behind him!

Her heart's a raging drum in her ears, her cheeks felt incredibly hot, and she could help the smile that forced itself on her face. She was having fun~

While she wasn't opposed to being with her little group of friends, two boys trying to get closer to her, one of her friends trying to get closer to a boy who obviously liker her back, it's odd that shadowing random person got her heart beating like never before and got her to smile before she even realized that it was plastered on her face.

In the back of her mind, she understood that what she was doing was more than just questionable, but she felt so….free? No that wasn't right. She didn't really know how to describe it.

The elevator didn't have any reflective surface, so rather than to dwell too much on her feeling she decided to push her luck.

She started making faces behind the Midori-guy's head. Nothing mean or ill-intent, she just wanted to see if he would notice.

By the time the elevator door opened, Himiko had her hands above her neatly brushed hair as antlers with her tongue sticking out.

She held in her laughter as she followed the Midori-guy out.

As she shadowed him, she couldn't help but marvel the view. They were pretty high up and she could see a lot of buildings. This was kind of a first for Himiko. Her family lived in a house with two floors and an attic. She has been to a hotel once with her parents in a different country, but she didn't really have time to actually marvel at the sight.

She noticed the midori-guy begin to walk towards a door and followed along.

"I'm home," he called out as he walked inside, letting the door close on it's own naturally. Himiko held it open as she followed him inside, her heart starting to really beat again. The jig was pretty much up.

"Oh welcome home, Izu-dear," a woman said before appearing at the end of the hallway. She looked really doughy, but had a nice smile and green hair that matched the boy she's been following. "Oh!" the woman let out as she brought her hands to her mouth and blushed lightly.

"Izuku, you didn't tell me you were bringing a girl over," his mother let out in calm surprise.

"...Huh?" Izuku let in confusion. He slowly turned to see Toga standing behind him.

"Hello," Himiko politely greeted with a smile, enjoying Izuku's shocked expression and how his cheeks slowly turned red while his mother looked really delighted at Himiko's sudden appearance.

Author's note:

For clarification, Himiko doesn't have a crush or admiration on Izuku( she barely remembers his name). Not at this point anyway (I've always been a fan of troupes where couples initially start out not even having a positive opinion of each other and slowly grow to like each other before becoming something more). For her, Izuku is basically a potential source of blood she could get away with drinking here and there without anyone else knowing.

Yes, that was a bleach reference!

Well, lemme know what you think and what kind of hopes you have for this fic!
