Chapter 6: Lingerie.

It had been five days since she and Pansy made the deal, and although much had happened since then, they both felt as if they hadn't made too much progress. It was vitally important that they start making progress if they didn't want to go home empty-handed with the bad taste of a failed plan in their mouths.

Wednesday passed relatively quickly, and even though Hermione hadn't had a chance to speak to the Slytherin again, she knew exactly what to do next. It was the Gryffindors' free hour before dinner, so Hermione grabbed hold of that box of candy and plucked up courage before heading down the bedroom stairs to the common room.

Harry was doing homework at one of the tables while Ronald seemed to be having a rather interesting conversation with Lavender on the opposite couch. The flirting of those two could be felt across the room.

"Harry." Her friend stopped writing on the parchment to look at her. "I finally got to remember the name of the book I told you about yesterday."

"That's great!" Harry's face went from serious to excited as soon as he stood up. "Which is the name? I'm going right now to get it out of the library."

"It's called "Killing Curses and Similar Charms". I accompany you, I also want to look at a couple of books, but before that... Ron?"

Hermione turned to the redhead, and he jerked away from the girl he was flirting with. He had turned red as a tomato and seemed quite surprised to see her there. Didn't he expect to find her in the common room they'd shared for seven years?

"Yes?" He babbled.

"Do you want a cauldron of chocolate?" She said, opening the box so he could see its content. "They were in the back of my closet and I don't want them to spoil."

"You don't have to ask me twice," the boy said as he reached out to get the whole box, but Hermione was quicker and slapped his hand with her own.

"You're not going to stuff yourself with candy just before dinner." She warned him. Then she took the poisoned cauldron that she had strategically placed to separate it from the others and handed it to him. She bit her lip as she watched him take a first bite inwardly apologizing to him. Then she turned to the girl. "Do you want one, Lavender?"

The girl hesitated a few seconds, but ended up accepting the sweet.

"Where are you going?" Ron wanted to know when he realized Harry was standing right in front of the portrait.

"We're going to the library to check out a couple of books." Hermione replied before leaving the box on the table where Harry had been studying less than five minutes ago. She remembered a phrase her friend said not long ago, quoting Professor Trelawney: "Someone will be poisoned very soon." Hermione turned to see Ron suck on his chocolate covered fingers and frowned slightly. She hated having to admit that Trelawney had been right this time.

"I'm going with you," he said after licking the corners of his lips.

Just as she had imagined.

The three friends left across the portrait and headed for the library. Hermione started giving Ron sidelong glances to see if he was starting to have symptoms, although Ron noticed a couple of them and apparently misinterpreted the situation. He ran a hand through his tousled hair before addressing her.

"Hey Hermione, Lavender is just a friend."

"So what?"

"I don't know what you thought you saw, but we were just talking."

The girl laughed and rolled her eyes.

"As If I cared." She replied.

"You really don't?"

"I guess I would be happy for you if you both started dating."

"Damn, no." He faked a shudder. "She's just a friend, I just wanted you to know."

"Okay, Ron. I'll make a note of that."

Harry stifled his laughter and the redhead grimaced before fixing his gaze ahead. As they approached the library Hermione began to feel a cold sweat run down her spine. She had begun to think that perhaps she had gotten the wrong cauldron and given the poisoned one to Lavender. She remembered reading that the effects of that poison were almost immediate, so her idea of having accidentally flawed the plan gained more and more force with time.

When they reached the destination, she looked around the place to find Pansy. She was sitting right at the table she had indicated her the night before, the one which Harry used to sit at every time he went to study there. The three of them leaned against the counter and waited for the old librarian to approach.

"Good afternoon, how can I help you?"

Ronald's stomach rumbled so loudly at that moment that he had to bend over on himself due to the pain.

"Guys, I'm not feeling very well." Ron confessed in a thick voice. "I think…"

His body made a couple of sounds before he ran out of the library without saying another word. Harry made a move to follow him, but Hermione put a hand on his shoulder to stop him.

"I will go. You get that book out and start working"

The boy nodded and Hermione started to walk towards the door, but due to the silence of the room she could hear in great detail how the conversation continued.

"I'm looking for the book "Killing Curses and Similar Charms."

"That girl happened to have gotten it out just a few minutes ago." The woman said. "Sorry honey, it's the only copy of the castle."

Pansy looked up from the pages when she felt someone suddenly watching her. The librarian was pointing her finger at her and Potter's eyes narrowed to make out the distance. Sneakily, she pretended to reread the book in front of her. She could hear footsteps heading towards her, they were getting sharper and sharper but she glanced down those lines and waited patiently for him to arrive.

"Umm... sorry." She heard.

Finally.

The Slytherin shook her head with the grace that only she enjoyed and looked at Potter pinned to the ground.

"Hello."

"Umm, yeah... hello."

Pansy raised an amused eyebrow as he eyed the book nervously. He seemed to have collapsed.

"Did you want something?" She said then to break the silence.

"Yes, I'm sorry. I just need that book to do an assignment."

The girl didn't take her eyes off him for a second.

"Well, I need it, too." Harry nodded and turned to leave, which Pansy hadn't anticipated him to do. "But you can sit down, we'll share it if you want," she said quickly.

The boy turned slowly, confusion etched on his face.

"Really?"

"Sure, there's plenty of space at the table. Do you want it for Flitwick assignment?" Potter nodded. "Incendio?"

"Yes." He said. "There aren't many books to find information on and Hermione recommended that one to me."

"Well, your friend is right. Here are a lot of curiosities about that enchantment. I'm also doing the volunteer work with Incendio, so we might even help each other."

Harry couldn't quite believe it, and the fact that he started looking at her with such skepticism was making her nervous.

"Are you kidding me?" He finally asked.

"Do I look like I'm kidding you?"

Potter took a few seconds, but finally agreed to sit across from her. The girl moved the book so that they could both read it. Harry pulled out a scroll and started taking notes.

"Here, it alludes to the way in which they discovered that this enchantment served to control or "domesticate" some types of magical plants."

"Wow, that was just what I wanted to read."

"Well, here you are."

Potter looked at her out of the corner of his eye, and though she realized she pretended not to. She liked to be causing enormous confusion to the boy, he seemed to be a little scared of her and that fuelled the sexual fantasies that only she and Snape knew. Thinking about it was a little violent, but she was determined to make them come true once and for all. She had waited a long time, and although she was in the final stretch she was not going to allow him to slip away until she had what she deserved.

Time had passed in that silent library between the sound of the parchments being torn by the tips of the feathers and the turning of the pages of the books. Pansy knew that dinner time was approaching, so since she had already feigned too much disinterest for the boy she decided to break the silence again.

"Potter." She said as she continued to write a couple more lines. "Why this enchantment?"

The Gryffindor shrugged and adjusted his glasses to the bridge of his nose.

"I thought I could do a very good job if I researched enough." After his answer, the silence again invaded them both, but Potter's manners were stronger than his reservations with her. "And you? Why did you choose this charm?"

Pansy smirked before looking up from the parchment and staring into his eyes.

"Although some may think that Slytherins are cold... some of us like fire."

Still looking at him, Pansy pulled her robes aside to subtly expose the cleavage her shirt made by not having the first three buttons fastened. The boy couldn't keep his gaze. He swallowed forcibly and loosened his tie in the colors of his house. Pansy was more than satisfied with his reaction. If there was one thing she liked about Potter (or rather excited) it was his shyness, but she was still going to take his shame away, make him want her so badly he ended up ripping her clothes off and ripping it to shreds.

She was about to continue to sneakily insinuate herself when a first-year boy approached them holding an Herbology book against his chest.

"C-can I sit with you?" He asked innocently. "Peeves never stops pulling my hair when I study alone."

Harry nodded effusively and tapped the bench for the bot to sit next to him.

"Sure, of course." He replied. "What's your name?"

"Martin."

The little boy noticed the grimace on Pansy's lips, and when he found out that she was wearing the Slytherin shield in her robe, he was definitely intimidated. Harry looked at her, but by then the girl had already changed her expression. She remembered the advice to stay nice that Hermione had given her a few days ago. She smiled at the boy and continued reading the book on the table as she imagined the little Hufflepuff on fire and running in circles in front of her.

Hermione kept making faces as she listened, reluctantly, to what was happening inside the boys' bathroom. She'd spent nearly half an hour leaning against the wall by the door, but this awkward situation made her time there seem like an eternity.

A Ravenclaw boy came up and reached out to open the door, but Hermione put hers on his chest to stop him.

"You don't want to go in there, trust me." The boy's stunned expression turned astonished when another unpleasant sound was heard coming from inside.

"Thanks." He said before leaving in the direction he had come from.

Hermione sighed and knocked on the door loud enough for Ron to hear her. Then she took a breath to speak.

"You really don't want to go to the infirmary?"

The bathroom door opened at that moment. A foul odor sneaked into her nostrils and made her hold her breath. Ron's face was yellow and his pants seemed to fit so loosely that he had to hold them to keep them from falling to his feet. Hermione moved away from the door with all the quickness she was capable of. Fortunately, she had only filled the candy with half a small bottle of poison.

"I'm starving." Was the first thing the boy said. "I don't know what happened to me but I need to recover nutrients."

Hermione was not surprised by his comment at all. This Weasley could already be on his deathbed that would have his hands full of food. Although they took longer than normal due to Ron's digestive problems, they both made it to the large dining room. The food had just been served and there were only a handful of students spread across the four tables. His friend sat closest to the door and began to serve himself on the plate.

"Are you better?" Hermione asked, sitting down opposite him.

"Not at all." Ron replied after swallowing what was in his mouth. "I feel like my stomach is going to burst any minute."

"Maybe you should stop eating until you feel better..." She suggested.

Ronald raised an eyebrow as he chewed.

"Maybe not." He replied.

Hermione rolled her eyes and poured herself a slice of pumpkin pie. Harry and Pansy entered the room at that precise moment, they separated and each one went to one side of the large dining room. His friend sat next to Ronald and poured himself some water.

"You look shocked." Hermione commented.

Harry drank the contents of his goblet in one go and set it on the table with more force than necessary.

"Something very strange has happened to me in the library..."

"Do you want to tell me?"

The boy ran a hand through his hair and looked at her.

"When I went to check out the book, the librarian told me that Parkinson had it… I approached in case she no longer needed it, but she did and invited me to share it, until then everything was normal… more or less. Then, as far-fetched as it sounds, I had the feeling that she was trying to hit on me." Harry turned to his friend. "How are you? Do you think you'll be all right for Sunday? I don't want to have to be alone with her again."

Ronald's stomach rumbled in response.

"Excuse me." He said, getting up from the table and rushing out of the large dining room.

"I'm sure he's going to be okay tomorrow." Hermione commented, dismissing it. "Was it so bad? You studying with Parkinson."

"Bad? It was the strangest thing that ever happened to me." He scooped food onto his plate and began to eat dinner.

"Maybe you imagined everything."

"It's possible... Can you imagine someone from Slytherin wanting to flirt with a Gryffindor? It is as absurd as a Gryffindor liking a snake." He shuddered just thinking about it.

"Yes, it's quite absurd." Hermione looked at Pansy covertly, and when she saw that she was also looking at her, she made a small gesture for them to meet in the Room of Requirement after dinner.

"Hello!" Ginny greeted, sitting down on the free spot her brother had left between Harry and Hermione, but they both got up from the table at that moment. "Where are you going?"

"We're done with dinner," Hermione replied without even looking at her.

"Yes, and your brother is ill. I think you should go see how he is."

The discontent on Ginny's face was more than evident. She watched them walk away together as she gripped the fork so tightly she almost split it in two.

"Why didn't you come to the Potions class?" Draco wanted to know when he sat down at the table.

Pansy had already finished dinner, but sat a few more minutes next to her friend. That Draco was speaking to her again was a good thing, especially when he was her bet in that deal and she had to be aware of him and his movements at all times.

"Since Snape punished me, I don't want to see him again for the rest of the year." She lied, and did it so naturally that her words sounded completely understandable.

"Are you going to risk having to repeat the year?" Theo asked.

Pansy rolled her eyes.

"Come on, he knows my parents and knows that he couldn't do that."

"Pansy is right." Draco supported her. "They could kick him out of Hogwarts if they wanted to. Also, it must be a torture to share punishment in the same room as the insufferable ones of Potter and Weasley. I would not want to see his face either for such punish as that."

"Speaking of Gryffindors..." Theo continued. "Have you already decided where you will duel with Granger?"

Draco glanced sideways at Pansy, who had started to smile.

"No, but it has to be in full view of everyone. I want all Hogwarts to see how I take her down the first time."

"Have you thought about the possible consequences?"

"I don't care if I hurt her."

"I didn't mean that." The boy clarified. "But to a possible punishment if any of the teachers realizes what you are doing. You already know that clandestine duels are not allowed between students."

"I don't care about that either." Draco snapped.

"They will surely punish you together, just as Pansy with her friends."

The blond threw the spoon into the plate in bad manners.

"You've been a pain in the ass lately, Theo. Stop making me dizzy with your stupid assumptions, will you?"

Pansy got up from the table just then, said goodbye to both of them and hurried to the Room of Requirement. She knew that Granger would be there and she had to tell her how her meeting with Potter had been in order to plan her next move. She couldn't wait to see the look on her face when she told her.

"Why did you take so long?" Asked the Gryffindor, who instead of sitting on the sofa offered by the living room, was walking around the room with her arms crossed.

"What's the problem?"

"What have you done to Harry?"

The girls stared at each other for a few seconds. That question had completely misled Pansy.

"What do you mean?" She said at last.

"I mean that you've traumatized him." Hermione confessed. "Did you say something out of place, insinuated yourself or something similar?"

"I've only left my cleavage exposed in front of him." The Slytherin said as she pulled her robes apart so she could see it.

"And why did you do that? If you intimidate Harry right away you will scare him forever."

Pansy looked at her cleavage for a moment.

"Doesn't he like tits?"

"Well I don't know. I guess." Hermione replied, feeling quite grossed out when talking about her friend's sexual tastes. "But to conquer Harry you must first make him mentally attracted to you. The physical part is secondary to him."

"Now I understand why he was dating Chang's ugly face a few years ago."

"Okay, but that's not the point now. You need to learn to control your... instincts before you are alone with Harry on Sunday."

"Yes, whatever you say." Pansy replied with boredom. The truth is, she didn't much like the idea of having to hold back more than she already did. Didn't Potter really want no one he hadn't connected with before in a different way? Couldn't he just want a body? "By the way, how is your friend the redhead? Were we lucky and he died sitting in the toilet?"

Hermione grimaced at her.

"No, he is not dead. And for your information I was right, it was enough with half a small bottle to... to keep him away."

"Good for you, Granger, because if you ever messed it up again I'd have tore your eyes out with my own nails." The Slytherin stared at them casually. "By the way, you're up again tomorrow."

Hermione stiffened at her words.

"What are you thinking?

"It is quite a complex plan, Granger. We better sit down." Both girls walked to the couch and made themselves comfortable. Pansy stared at the room for a moment, as if waiting for something to happen. "Isn't this room going to serve us some tea or something?"

"Merlin, Parkinson. Speak now."

Hermione was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and for some reason that seemed funny to the Slytherin. She tossed her hair back and smiled at her.

"You're going out with Theo."

"Who?"

"You know, tall, dark haired, green eyes…"

"Wait, are you telling me to go on a date with Nott?"

"With Theo, yes." Pansy nodded and laughed at the irony of the situation. "My mate has been dying to jump your bones forever."

"How do you know that?"

"I sense it."

The Slytherin raised her chin self-reliantly, but Hermione couldn't believe what she was hearing from her lips.

"Okay, assuming what you say is true..."

"It is." Pansy interrupted her.

"How would that help Malfoy notice me?"

"My dear, Draco loves to take everything that is not his. He's jealous by nature, so you're going to use Theo to plant that seed of doubt in Draco's head. Let's make him question his own name."

"I don't know, I don't see how it…"

"You don't have to see anything, you just have to follow my instructions. I'm going to get you a date with Theo for... I don't know, Friday?"

"Didn't you say tomorrow?"

"Oh no. What you will do tomorrow is grow curiosity on both of them. Draco and Theo go every Thursday during free time to the same store in Hogsmeade. They offer all kinds of clothing, but there is nothing there that is not of excellent quality. Draco loves to collect clothes that he will not even wear, and Theo usually goes with him."

"And what do you want me to do there? As you talk about it, I don't even think I have enough money to buy anything."

"Money is no problem." Pansy said proudly. "What you will do is try on some lingerie and make sure you leave the fitting room curtain half open so they can see you."

Hermione gulped and searched the Slytherin's expression for something that would tell her that this was all just a bad joke. But no, Parkinson smirked at just imagining her following her convoluted plan. The Gryffindor still didn't believe that this was true.

"Do you want me to try...?"

"Lingerie, that's what I said. I will go a few minutes before to select the sets that you are going to try on. I will leave them in the fitting room and you will immediately enter and do what I have told you. I don't trust your judgment with something like that."

Hermione took a deep breath when she noticed her lungs had started to burn. How long had she been holding her breath?

"I don't think I can do it."

"Do you want Draco to notice you?"

"Yes, but…"

"Yes! Only yes! There are no space for buts here. You will go there and let the lingerie do its magic. I have all my hopes placed on this plan. Theo will go crazy when I tell him you want to meet him after that."

"Are you really going to sell him too?"

"When it comes to losing or winning, Granger, I always win. It doesn't matter how many people have to fall for me to triumph."

"I'm not so sure that Nott really liked me, but… I just don't know if I want to play with someone else's feelings..."

Pansy sighed heavily as she watched her bite her lip, undecided.

"I'm going to explain it to you in another way. Draco won't accept that you might be worthy of his attention until someone else like him does before. As soon as you and Theo go out a couple of times Draco will start taking you into consideration. I have tried to drop a few comments to pave the way, but he will not be convinced that he loves you at all costs until he feels that you belong to someone else. I think the fact that Theo is his friend will make it more morbid if possible."

"That doesn't make me feel better." Hermione murmured.

"For once, Granger, stop being so... Gryffindor. Think like a Slytherin for a moment. Focus on how much you want Draco, all the time you have repressed your feelings and what you would give to sneak under his covers and enjoy the forbidden pleasure... Do you really want it? Think about it, don't you crave for him to grab your thighs and not let go until you've both come?" Hermione raised both hands to her face, but the Slytherin grabbed her wrists, pulled them apart, and moved closer to take a closer look. "Answer yes or no?"

"Yes." She said, closing her eyes. She was completely ashamed.

"Then think that you need Theo to get it. Don't worry, he is going to enjoy it while lasts... but the prize is Draco. If you need to use other people to reach it, do it. The only thing you should care about is getting what you want."

Thursday was complete torture for Hermione from the moment that she got up. She had nightmares at night, the kind that you don't remember when you wake up but that leave your body horribly tense and stiff. She couldn't get her mind off the evil plan Pansy had devised for her, either during breakfast or in class. She was distracted all the time, as if her mind and body were acting independently.

Ron had already recovered from the poisoning, Harry had forced himself to forget what had happened to Pansy the day before, and Ginny was still as upset as usual. She couldn't believe she didn't realize that she had no interest in him, that she only saw him as a friend... or worse, as a brother.

After Defense Against the Dark Arts Hermione was intentionally lost in the crowd of hallways. The last class before free time was Potions, so she and Pansy would meet in the Room of Requirement to finish the plan.

"What part of 'keep that red-haired bitch away from my man' have you not understood?" Was the first thing Pansy said when she saw her appear through the door. "Why can she rub up against him on her every whim and I can't even look at him? She almost wore him out at lunchtime with so much hugging."

Hermione dropped onto the sofa and gave a long, loud sigh.

"Because she is his friend and you are not."

"But she wants to be more than a friend."

"Yes, but he hasn't even noticed yet."

"Oh, come on, it is noticeable even for me... What happened to your friend for him to avoid seeing something so obvious?"

"I suppose he has never considered having a thing with Ginny," the Gryffindor explained. "Although I don't know what would happen if someone tried to make him see all the interest that she has in him."

"I will have to get Potter pregnant before that happens." Pansy teased, sitting next to her. "When he's mine I'll lick his face in front of her to show her who's boss. But now let's talk about your "star moment"... Are you ready?"

Hermione looked at her like she was crazy.

"You know I'm not." She said, taking off her shoes and putting her feet up on the sofa. "Your plan is crazy."

"It could be, but I assure you it will be one hundred percent effective... unless your stupid morals ruin everything."

"I have tried to make myself comfortable what is about to happen, but I cannot promise anything."

Pansy rolled her eyes as she pulled something out from inside her robe. She leaned down a little to put it on the table before settling back on the sofa.

"Seventy galleons." Said the Slytherin. "You can buy the set that you like the most, consider it as an incentive for you to put in more effort to help me reach my goal."

Hermione looked at the small leather bag on the table. She made a few quick calculations and determined that this amount was equal to three hundred and fifty pounds sterling.

"There's no way I can accept it."

"You're going to. It's my parents money, I don't care," said Pansy with a smile. "This is little money for me, Granger. Also, you will need that set of lingerie for your final play."

"Final play?"

"Sure. Unlike you I have already devised a whole plan in my head for you to conquer Draco, and like any self-respecting plan, it needs a final move that will put the finishing touch on it. But don't ask any more questions, we'll talk about that when the time comes. In the meantime… " She picked up her wand and brought up a kettle and a couple of cups out of nowhere.

"Thanks." Hermione said, taking the one she offered her. "Are you really sure this will work?"

"You're offending me by questioning my abilities." Pansy answered before sipping her tea. "Although we have to take into account the duel on Sunday. It is just as important that you know his strengths as his weakness, so after dinner we will come here to practice," she commented, nodding toward the cleared room space.

"It will be difficult to win the duel against him, won't it?"

"Yes, but you don't have to."

"Do you want me to lose on purpose?"

"Of course not, that would only make you look bad in front of him." She shook her head as she blew a bit of the greenish liquid from her cup. "I've been thinking about it and you don't want to beat him again either. Draco's ego couldn't bear to be beaten twice in a row, he would end up hating you in such a way that not even Salazar would get him to stop. What you have to do on Sunday is stay on his level, make sure no one wins or loses. By the time the teachers find out about the duel you have to make sure you tied the game. Draco wants revenge for the beating I gave him in Quidditch a few days ago being you, but if he sees that you are not really that different he can change his perception of you a little."

"I get it…"

"I know Draco is a bit tricky, but if can do that, we'll have travelled much of the way." She finished her tea and ordered the kettle to pour her another cup. "By the way, I'm curious about when you started to notice someone who had always been so mean to you."

Hermione choked on her drink and had to cough a few times to ease the itch in her throat. Had she heard correctly? Did Parkinson want to know why she had become obsessed with her friend?

"Well... I don't know when it happened, and I'm not proud that it happened either. I mean, does that mean I don't think I'm worthy? I should be dating someone who actually respects me, right? I have thought about it many times, although I suppose it was his smile, perhaps his arrogance… In short, I think I like him because I know he is unattainable."

"I don't think you're not worth it." Pansy replied. "Draco is the meanest boy I know, and now that I've been dealing with you for a few days I can affirm that you are one of the sweetest and noblest girls in the castle. And it's not to flatter you, Granger, don't get excited either. With that I want to make you understand that the opposite poles attract themselves, they always do."

"I suppose that's why you're dying for Harry."

"I don't die for anyone... but yes, Potter does drive me crazy from time to time. In my case, I like him because all I know in life is rudeness and cruelty, but he is so nice to everyone he knows… I don't know, I think I only need to be loved and respected at the same time."

"Let me say that you truly deserve that love and respect you mention, and I hope that you get to find them both in Harry." Hermione said, then added: "Yes, I guess you may be right about opposite poles attracting themselves."

"I always am." Hermione was about to take another sip of her tea, but Pansy took the cup from her hands before she could. "Now take the money. It is time for action."

Hermione waited hid in an alley for Pansy to walk out the door. She had seen her walk through the store through the window, looking here and there and picking up garment after garment. When she hung them on one of the testers and sneaked out, Hermione took a breath to calm down. It was her turn to follow the established plan, so she plucked up her courage and entered that exclusive store under the gaze of the owner. She went into the fitting room and, as Parkinson had explained, left the curtain slightly open. Thanks to Merlin, no client was there at the time.

The first thing she did was to look in the mirror. She hardly recognized the girl reflected there, but her existential crisis could wait until the day was over and she got into bed. She knew she would end up rushing as soon as she allowed herself to think too much about what she was about to do. She pursed her lips and began to undress. She put her school clothes aside and closed her eyes as she unbuttoned her bra. Her panties fell to her feet before she could better rethink the situation. Then she looked at the clothes Pansy had hung to her left and she stifled a sob. Well, it was clear that she would never, never have chosen something so… provocative, but she was going to try to follow the plan she established for her. She didn't want to ruin everything, not when her desire to emerge victorious from that Slytherin deal grew bigger and bigger day by day.

She picked up the first set and put it on quickly. Both garments were black and translucent, the bra was covered in beautiful lace, and the panties featured a pair of ruffles on either side of her hips. The door to the store rang and Hermione stiffened instantly. She took a little look to see how she was, she had never tried something so insinuating before... and although she could not deny that this outfit was a perfect fit, she could not help feeling completely naked either. She practically was, and now she could feel how someone had fixed his eyes on her back. With a slight tremor in her body, Hermione checked through the glass that it was Draco and his friend. Both of them seemed enraptured with the silhouette of her body that was glimpsed by the space between the wall and the curtain. The first bit his lip, the second put a hand to the lump that had just appeared on his crotch. That confirmed that they still hadn't realized who she was, so she did her best to cover it up. She looked at herself from different angles before deciding that she was definitely not going to try another outfit.

When she thought enough was enough, she hid behind the curtain to put on her clothes again. When she disappeared from their sight, she could hear how the boys walked away and began to talk to each other. She bit her lip and took a deep breath again. She couldn't believe she had done that, the palms of her hands were sweating so much that she could barely dry them on her robe. But she couldn't stay there forever.

Her legs were still shaking when she picked up the outfit and pulled the curtain wide open. Both Malfoy and Nott turned at that moment and she was completely exposed to their gazes. Judging by their expressions they both seemed genuinely surprised to see her there... and that she turned out to be the sexy girl they had been staring at a few minutes earlier.

Following Pansy's advice, Hermione was haughty as she headed to the counter. She paid for those expensive clothes and, without giving thanks, turned towards the door and gave them an insinuating glance before left.

She still didn't know how the hell she had managed to do it without having a heart attack, but now that she was out and could breathe again she realized how well everything had turned out.
