Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Hounds of Hell. Enjoy the 900-Word chapter. I don't own Hazbin Hotel, Viziepop and a few others do.

Lupin sniffed the air. He smelt something here which interested him. He made sure his LMG was still strapped to his back as needed. It helped that he was big enough to tote the canon around like it barely weighed anything. It was something people often questioned considering many of them had seen a hellhound before? Then again? It didn't really matter to him at the end of the day. He considered his ability to blend in stupid, it wasn't like he was going to be very quiet.

"I smell something again." Lupin said as he slowly started walking forward. "It's at least a mile away… Weird, now I want to know what it is." Lupin said while he looked around with amusement as he pulled the gun from his back.

He was well aware how dangerous the seven rings were considering someone always wanted you dead. They always wanted guns, or power, or SOMETHING. Lupin was about to raise his snout so the scent was caught once more… Before a newspaper smashed into his face, causing the Hellhound to sigh as he reached a hulking hand up to snatch it.

He blinked before preparing to rip it apart as he noticed something written upon a corner. It was a job offer; he unfurled the newspaper so he could read it.

"Their hiring an assassin? Huh, doesn't sound like a bad gig exactly." Lupin said while snapping the paper upon, almost ripping it. "Damn it to the pride ring…" Lupin cursed as he started walking forward, blinking with interest.

He rubbed at his eyes before putting the LMG back on the holster. He was curious about why… No, he actually wasn't surprised. Lupin was going to guess there was dozens of assassins in hell, they did love their bloodlust.

"Hmm…" Lupin said while he cracked his knuckles as the massive hellhound skimmed over the thing. "Blitz, right?" Lupin said as he looked up at the sky once more.

They wanted an assassin; he wasn't the best assassin. He was loud, lumbering, and rickety. Lupin knew for a fact that he was more of a brawler then an assassin at the end of the day. Still? If they were quite addicted to hiring an assassin? Then he'd answer it, there was only an option to try, if he failed? He knew for a fact that he was going to be curious until he had made a choice.

"Ok, let's see where the hell this place was…" Lupin said while he tilted his head and then sniffed the air with interest. "Hmm, I smell something weird. What in the seven rings is it?" Lupin asked as he scratched at his temples.

Whatever this smell was? It was intoxicating, it was by far the most interesting smell to have ever hit his nose. Lupin couldn't explain what it was, but it was slowly but surely drawing him towards him. Still? If it was this unique? Why did no other hellhound like the ones around him seem to notice it? Was it something common to this ring? Was it something they were used to? It confused him to no end, yet it still drove him onwards as if he could understand it, consider it at the end it.

He lied questioning things, he liked knowing everything about things at the moment. The hellhound had lived in the seven rings for over a dozen years or such. He was quite familiar with everything down here as far as he knew of… But something like this smell? It was something new, something fascinating, it pulled him onward like he hadn't been pulled before.

"What the hell am I smelling?" Lupin asked as he rubbed at his snout. "IMP?" Lupin questioned with a hum as he turned to continue tapping at his snout.

"Hmm…" Lupin said while he cracked his fingers with a smirk as he slowly placed the newspaper upon the ground. He grabbed his LMG off his back, reading the gun and holding it in one hand as he did so.

He took a deep breath of the air, curious as to what awaited him in hell. The long rings of crimson buildings, the symbols carved into flesh like walls. He was quite curious as he thought about his next move. Whatever the smell was? it came from a few lower levels down, quite an interesting smell going on down there.

He walked and slowly started to walk towards the lower rings, curious as to how this would be. He was invested in the work that was soon to come. If it came to it? he'd do it, but for now? he simply wanted out of this ring, he wanted to think about the rest how this had been at the moment.

he looked around, taking one last maneuver as he slowly walked down the ring a moment later.
