Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Hounds of Hell. Enjoy the 4800-Word chapter. I do not own Hazbin Hotel, Viziepop, and a few others do.
"Loona, what the HELL!?" Blitz asked to which Loona only rolled her eyes.
"We voted, it was all of us that decided another Hellhound would be better than none at all," Loona stated to which Blitz went to respond.
"He's very well-behaved for a hellhound," Moxxie stated to which Loona looked at him, all too annoyed.
"The F### does that mean?" Loona questioned as Moxxie turned to him.
"I mean Lupin acts genuinely nice and well-mannered for a hellhound. It is interesting, I have not met many of them." Moxie said before rolling his eyes. "Sir? If you think he is going to flirt with your daughter? You know you can just ASK him and not threaten the 10-foot-tall hellhound into trying to back off." Moxxie stated before he crossed his arms.
"He looked taller than that when he had you in his hand, Mox. I do not even know how a Hellhound got that tall… Well, maybe he took a little something." Millie stated as Loona hummed.
"Pretty sure you can't accidentally rip a door off its hinges on drugs," Loona said before she looked at Blitz. "I did not make the flyer, Blitz. Your stupid help did… All I did was write him his paycheck." Loona stated before she clicked her tongue before went back to her phone.
"Right… JUST his paycheck." Millie said to which Loona sank further into her seat. "Give him a chance, Blitz. It ain't like he and Loona were making googly eyes. He's nice and doesn't want to let us down… Sides, it ain't like there are better jobs down here." Millie sighed as she looked to have to question before now while all of it was said and done, such problems would only serve increasingly of an issue.
It would be more of an issue that needed to be addressed and yet Mille could not for the life of her question what was going on inside Loona's mind. It was a very odd thing to try and do and yet she did it anyway.
Loona for her part still only sent a single text to Lupin. She had to admire the woman's attempt to try and hold herself even if it was NOTICEABLY clear she did not want to.
It was clear increasingly such problems existed partly because Loona was unwilling to just try and give up Lupin… Yet? She could see she was thumbing the call button, almost crushing the small little device like it was a toy, a small little pathetic toy in the palm of her grasp.
Blitz looked ready to murder someone, but Millie was not stupid. He would damn well not touch Loona; they were fair game one way or another. All of this was much more than he desired, it would always be more because Loona was his daughter and as such there was a desire to try and correct it, to see it end a certain way.
Loona was a monster at times, but she still had a heart, she still was far more willing to see it all end and see it to the finish, perhaps because it was so hard to reconcile at the moment.
Still? There were a lot more problems that needed to be fixated upon Loona were many things and yet many problems that arise from her still existed.
It seemed to be worth pointing out simply how odd it needed to be focused upon as he looked upwards and into the sky.
"Get the damn…." Blitz started to say before a polite knock on the door stopped them. "I swear to the damn Seven Rings if he picks me up. I am shooting him in the damn doom." Blitz stated before sighing to himself.
Blitz opened the door before it came down to him and the looming hellhound who made him feel ridiculously small as he realized simply what was coming and how damn annoying it seemed to be to need to deal with it in a way that didn't at all cripple him.
Still? Blitz was not going to be seen as a damn coward. Not in front of Moxxie at least when push came to shove, and it was all so clear increasingly that Lupin was not at all scary and it was worth it.
He grasped that increasingly it seemed worth it as now than before and he would not at all be used to it nor would he get used to it. The idea was going to be far more amusing at the time. it'd become worse and worse given time.
Still? Part of Loona wanted to try and get this over with, it was clear Blitz hated the idea of any Hellhounds even being in the same zip code as her which was more and more frustrating yet of course it was continuing to be a problem, they didn't at all get to relax at the end of the day and it wasn't something Loona gave a damn about it.
Still? All such problems were something Blitz just didn't understand for the moment. All of these problems continued to become worse and worse.
"I already invited him back sooner or later. He's already…" Loona heard before Moxxie remembered he was here.
Lupin tilted his head, looking to the side as he clicked his tongue and smirked as of the moment. The giant Hellhound seemed far more confused, only pausing to look around.
"Are you ok? You seem nervous." Lupin asked, easily looking over Blitz to which Loona just nodded. "Hello, Moxxie. I'm sorry I almost accidentally tossed you off the table, totally didn't mean to do it. I didn't think you'd be there when I turned." Lupin said before Moxxie hummed.
Lupin fell silent, only clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth. His rows of fangs looked like sharp swords that could dice through flesh as if it was butter. Loona forgot Lupin was very tall compared to her.
Not uncommon for Hellhounds but the fact he seemed to dwarf her was just all over for now. it'd become odder and odder at the end of the day. All of their oddities for the moment seemed to only get magnified.
"I like him, he's nice." Loona heard from Moxxie as Lupin shrugged.
"I get that a lot, people expect me to be a giant brute because I'm super tall and look like I could rip people in half." Loona heard from Lupin as he smirked. "Sorry, I'm just not always the best talker, it takes me a few seconds to think," Lupin said before standing up fully.
Loona was still surprised Lupin was very damn tall but as he managed to stand up? She was reminded Lupin had to look down to look her purely in the eye. He didn't seem to be doing it on purpose, it was just odd for him.
"Hey, jackass. Your boss is down here." Blitz said before Lupin returned his attention to Blitz and rolled his eyes.
"I didn't say anything to be rude, sir. I'm just trying to make a pleasant conversation; I rather enjoy it." Lupin said before cracking his fingers and looking at the ground before yawning, only pausing to look downwards at the ground.
Still? Too many issues came down to it, and all of it seemed to be going more and more insane. Problems seemed to keep arising for now. it'd become odder and odder given time, they needed to continue to go onwards over and over for the moment.
Lupin yawned to himself for a few seconds as the giant hellhound managed to relax, tired more than bothered and far too unwilling to relax. He was unsure of problems beyond his control, beyond comprehension at the end of the day.
The sheer madness of it all bothered him yet he said nothing. He wanted to continue to say nothing as he knew more and more the problems would not end, they couldn't end anytime soon, all it did was feed into a very large pit at the end of the day.
He clicked his tongue and was all too eager to try at the focus as of now, utterly more and more to try and deal with over and over more and more at the moment.
The giant hellhound yawned, all too unsure and uncertain as the giant animal swept his gaze around the room, too bored to do much if anything. He wouldn't be able to relax and just fathom it all at the end of the day.
"He's damn tall." Loona heard before she snorted.
"Duh, we aren't all short like imps, Blitz." Loona deadpanned as Lupin shrugged.
"There are a few hellhounds taller than me with all due respect. If you wanted someone tall? I can introduce you to someone who knows a thing or two about that…" Lupin said before he cracked his knuckles.
It was taking a few moments for Loona to remember that Lupin would be hired into the team soon. The giant hellhound would soon be part of the group and she'd be able to relax more and more… If anything? All it did was remind her that she was going to be able to rest easier.
Well, that or that she'd be going insane from having a part of the group be the same species as her but who exactly cared? It wasn't often that such measures came down to the wire, whatever came next would come next and he knew it over and over.
She didn't even want to try and fathom it at the end of the day. The hellhound was simply tired, fathoming what else could become of it all and he seemed to yawn in exhaustion before he looked down at the ground.
Loona looked at him as he raised an eyebrow, glancing at her with an interest that was more and more unfathomable now. He sniffed the air and looked at her before checking his weapon.
"Did you expect me to let you break your skull upon the floor? I'm a hellhound, not Cerberus, Moxie." He said before rubbing at his temples as he went along.
Whatever monstrous things in the world happened and he knew more and more to try and figure out as he seemed utterly unsure and uncertain for now. He snapped his jaws shut, focusing upon something that to deal with before now.
He was unsure of what to handle next as he snapped his fingers. Moxxie and Loona watched as he cracked his back and stood up, almost falling over as the Hellhound shrugged.
"Sorry, it hurts my spine to hunch over. I know I'm tall, I've seen Hellhounds far taller than me and I don't think I'm that tall. I'm sorry, I mumble a lot more when I'm thinking." Lupin said before he cracked his fingers once more and let out a smile.
Blitz only saw teeth, rows of teeth like a shark, like an animal that could chew through meat easily with one chomp if he tried. He was utterly exhausted but he could see a killer Hellhound when it came down to it, all too amused at the end of the day.
Loona only saw something that could probably rip her in half if he so dared pleased, whatever he did. Well, it'd probably be fun. Loona watched Blitz smirk for only a moment as she noticed he had a machine gun and she cracked her fingers together before she yawned to herself, noticing as it happened.
She was all too prepared for the moment; they had a lot more on their minds. He smiled at the both of them, showing dozens of fangs-filled teeth within his face as he did.
She didn't even know what to try and think of now, something that she couldn't at all fathom as she looked at him, unsure of her idea for the time being and she was well aware of the fact now he was a more powerful hellhound than he looked.
"Geez and rice, how many teeth do you have?" Moxxie asked as Lupin tilted his head and looked at her with amusement.
"Don't know, a lot of fangs, I guess? They grow back as sharks do… I can tear one off and it'd grow back in seconds. Comes with being whatever kind of hellhound I am I guess… Sorry, did that bug you or something?" Lupin asked before tilting his head to the side of the room as he did so.
"Uh, no?" Moxie asked before Lupin hummed and tilted his head to the side once more, bones cracking as he did so.
"You act like I'm going to touch you, I won't. I'm sorry if I hurt you, my claws are pretty sharp… I'd cut them more but they already break every second and grow back more and more shaper… I don't know if it's for any reason." Lupin said before he hummed.
"Man, I expected a steroid chugging, brute with daddy issues." Lupin heard before Loona elbowed her father in the gut.
"I'm sorry, he's a jackass half the time and a stingy penny pincher the rest of the time," Loona said as Lupin shrugged.
"We're… In hell, just because I don't do it half the time doesn't mean I don't expect it the other half. Comes with living down here to be fair. It's a lot to take in when you work in business." Lupin said before he looked at Blitz.
"But I will point out I can shred people like Swiss cheese even if you think I can't… Unless you wish for me to kill someone now." Lupin said, humming.
There was no malice to the thought, nothing in the way of threats, no, it was simply purely a fact to her ears and she knew it. He didn't look at all amused or unsure of it as he looked at Blitz and tilted his head as if he was far more at the sight, something that he didn't even wish to relax upon doing.
Loona stepped around her idiotic father, annoyed, and flustered by his antics as the hellhound tilted his head, more amused by her than anything.
He didn't even know her for a moment and yet she was a lot more relaxed, for now, something that she could relax upon doing.
"I'm sorry, that was uncalled for," Lupin said before he cracked his fingers and then seemed to be able to think for a moment.
There was a smile, a hellish amused moment of uncertainty as he rubbed at his snout before he tilted his head, more concerned with what was coming than anything else.
There was a lot more upon his mind than just her and yet he hummed before slowly stepping backward and to the side with another hum for a second as he looked around.
The Hellhound for his part was purely insane for now and would always be. It was part of his charm in the way he supposed and he liked it that way, unsure and unknowing of anything in his way.
He felt anything that could or would deal with such things was always in the way of things and would continue to be like that.
He sniffed the air, his muzzle contorting as a smell he was all too unsure of and all too uneasy around.
"Hmm… I smell a lot of gunfire for something like this, a lot of gunpowder around here as well… You guys have a LOT of guns, don't you?" Lupin asked, tilting his head to the side as he did so in a manner in which he tilted his head.
"Yeah, we're assassins, jackass," Blitz said as Lupin rolled his eyes.
"Not guns like that, I smell something… Holy." Lupin said as Moxxie blinked.
"We don't have holy weapons. None of us are asked to be killing any sinners around here… Not even a few." Moxxie said to which Blitz waved his hand.
"I do, just to get rid of anyone who tries to screw us… Or we want to screw." Blitz said as the other demons all looked at him.
"BLITZ!" Loona yelled as Lupin simply shook his head.
"What? You know how sinners are and it isn't like anything else kills them! It was a good investment, sides, they work!" Blitz yelled to which they could only sigh.
"You know people sell fakes on the black market and you know people steal those because they're so dangerous, right? They aren't toys to be used." Lupin said only to get a hand in front of him.
"And they blow up at times due to misfires, Blitz!" Loona yelled as Lupin nodded.
"Yeah, what Loona said," Lupin said as he rested on his knuckles in annoyance. "Really might want to have a specialist look at them before you use them… That and it's very hard to find ammo for bless tipped weapons in this day and age." Lupin said to which Moxxie blinked and looked at him in shock.
"What? I'm just throwing in my two cents. I'm sorry if I offended you." Lupin said before he looked down at the ground.
"No, I'm just… You can smell that through dozens of locked doors?" Moxxie asked as Loona rolled her eyes.
"We have a better sense of smell than most demons, dumbass. It's part of being a hellhound. I can smell them a bit better than you can and they smell close… Meaning Blitz didn't even bother hiding them… Thanks, old man." Loona said as Lupin turned his eyes.
"Most of us can if you tune your nose right, comes with the territory as you said… Why I'm confused is why you have them… There's nothing out here to fight and most of those bullets would drop demon royals in one headshot, wouldn't need more than one unless you could figure out such a thing when it came down to it." Lupin said before he snorted, rubbing at his nose as he did so.
There was a level of amusement upon his face, something he didn't at all doubt was something odder than usual and something he could and would savor for now. The idea kept building in his head for now, ready to explode and take everything with it now… If anything? He had a LOT more to see and do tomorrow.
The ideas on his mind only seemed to drive him to keep acting like he always did. There were just too many missing keys on the road, something that he didn't even grasp lightly.
Lupin sniffed the air, planting his massive paws upon the ground as he sighed, driven by a desire to keep going for now as he looked downwards at the ground.
He felt himself hum inside, yawning to himself before he slowly started to think for now what was going on and what he was going to be used to, throwing it all to the ground. There was a lot more to it all before now but he was able to relax once more.
He didn't know her which was probably why it worked out so well for the time being as of the moment.
He would only turn to look at Loona, rubbing at his snout as he did so, and then hummed as if he could finally allow himself to relax for a few more seconds.
"So… Question, am I going to be doing paperwork for the moment, or did you want me to field it for now." Loona hummed and slowly started to look downwards at the ground.
It on distracted him and pushed him down a road he didn't know. Loona tapped at her claws, humming as she questioned what WOULD he be doing if he was hired. It wasn't exactly like they needed a lot of people to go killing in the field.
All of it was odder and odder and yet for his part? He was oddly calm, not even a little taken down by it all for the time being, they had a LOT more to see and do, a LOT more to understand.
There was a lot more to try and figure out it before he clicked his tongue against it before he sighed what to try and figure out as of now as he hummed to try and look to the side.
Whatever he could and would do at the moment, a lot more to try and assume for now, he liked that idea, understanding something like this in a way that he could and would grasp for now.
They had a LOT more to try and see anyway and he guessed what he had to deal with for now. If he knew anything? It was always going to be like this last he checked that wouldn't at all change for now or forever as of the time being when push came to shove.
They had a lot more to see and do as he felt himself sigh and cracked his fingers against one another. They had a very large amount of mercy upon his face as he glanced around the room, they had something else to try and figure out.
They would keep growing upon now, something that could and would bother them for now. It would grow more or later at the end of the day… Something that would keep growing.
He sighed as he looked downwards at the ground, making him yawn and slowly start to look upwards at the ground, a measure of mercy… It would be odder and odder for now.
He said nothing as he glanced around the room, eager to try and figure something out… Whatever he would be able to relax once more.
This would continue to be over; it would continue to be over and over as of now. They had a lot more on his mind, something that he was able to deal with for now… The excitement upon his face didn't at all end… Nor would it anytime soon, something he could reasonably do.
He sighed to himself, ready for whatever he would do next… Whatever had to be done? He'd deal with it, again and again, if need be.
"There's a lot of stuff we need to sign…" Moxxie said as the Hellhounds rounded on him, tilting his head to the side, and raising an eyebrow as he did so.
"There's a lot of stuff we haven't written yet if that's what you mean." Lupin heard before he looked downwards at the ground.
"Where do I sign up, I guess? I'm not exactly good with paperwork." Lupin stated before he looked downwards at the ground, unsure of what to see or do next.
Lupin was unable to think as he scratched at the ground, unsure and uncertain of himself. What he did do next? It wouldn't exactly end well; they had something else to consider.
Yes, it seemed a measure of mercy that would be beyond them at the moment. He yawned, looking downwards at the ground, rubbing at his temples for the moment.
Moxxie went to get the paperwork as Lupin turned, tilting his head at Millie who showed no fear of the brutish beast that could easily tear her in half if it so wished, all of it seemed more and more off.
He was not scared of her, not by any measure, it would continue to end for now, something that he would be able to figure all out at the moment… All of it translated more to something he could not deal with… All such little measures of himself.
It would not be something he could deal with properly and personally at the moment, something about it all bothered him. He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, cracking his fingers like knives as he sighed, unsure of it for a moment in a way he didn't at all understand.
Whatever he dealt with next was more than this, far more than he could handle and he knew it more and more with each passing moment. Lupin for his part simply stayed in each little day that goes down the drain? It won't matter more and more and more with each passing second of the day.
He didn't know what will happen until then and didn't wish to know it, there was just too much to try and deal with for now, something that could be dealt with within it all for now.
They had a LOT of measures to deal with and yet? It wasn't going to end, not anytime soon, nope… Yet? it all seemed to be coming together with a fine meshed paste that would crush them all down to nothing, knowing what would come.
Lupin simply tilted his head, unsure and unfazed for now, not willing to relax as he sighed, knowing it wouldn't end for now.
All of it cut differently within his mind, knowing what was going on as he hummed before he looked downwards at the ground before he hummed as he looked to the side as he hummed once again.
Lupin hummed before he cracked his fingers against the roof of his mouth as he sighed and then yawned to himself. Lupin simply rested his rifle on his shoulder as he sighed, utterly able to digest it for now.
"So… Do we have a plan or do we have to deal with this sort of ideal for now," Lupin asked before he raised an eyebrow and then hummed, able to think for now.
"Uh… No? I don't think we do, did, whatever? We just kill people?" Loona said, trying not to screw up as he turned to her. "Blitz who are we screwing, uh, KILLING?" Loona asked as Lupin gently hummed and lowered Moxxie to the ground.
Blitz sighed, knowing now that Loona was way too emotionally close to Lupin and Lupin was either too clueless or too stupid to do something to relax.
Perhaps it would need to try something to finish it all off, he didn't know for now, not like he could truly deal with it in any manner shape, or form, there was just more to try and deal with it all for now, not at all know what to try and deal with.
There was just too much to try and deal with again and again, he just didn't know what to say or even do, yet? he would fight as he always had because such things more and more as he hummed.
He was able to relax for a moment as he sighed but fell silent, utterly unable to do more than relax. He had just so many questions knowing what was coming for now.
All of it just seemed to be odder and odder as he hummed to himself, questioning it all as he hummed, able to relax more and more with each little moment. This didn't need to try and figure out as he hummed to himself and would need to keep dealing with for now, something that he continued to deal with for lack of a better idea for now as of the time being.
They had such ideas that would grow more and more and would continue to figure it out as time went on.
Such things would not be able to try and figure out as of the time being, they had a LOT of things to deal with and it only cut deeper and deeper into his mind to try and figure it out as of now.
This would be something that would need to end more and more at the time being while it would need to come down the line. This was a lot more amusing to Loona as he turned to look to the side, utterly tired and thrown off knowing that he couldn't be serious for now.
"Today is going to be weird… Isn't it?" Lupin stated before he looked to the side, there were a lot more motions to try and figure out what to see next.
This wasn't going to always be amusing for now. The smaller hellhound only tried to raise herself on her slender legs. Lupin only hummed before he cracked his fingers and sighed.
Author Notes
