Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Acidic Allies. Enjoy the 6900-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi, and a few others do.
Aace tried to keep his cool and it was clear Aace wised to keep trying… But seeing as how Mina decided the most perfect spot for her head was his chest?
It seemed more or less like she wanted a rise from him and an easy one at best. Aace could only roll his eyes in amusement as she scrambled around, too interested in what would be coming downwards.
"You're being weird again, Mi," Aace said, only pausing to roll his eyes at her. "You going to be, ok?" Aace questioned, only pausing once more to raise an eyebrow.
Mina stuck her tongue out, kicking her feet back and forth as if she had simply regressed in age. Aace only rolled his eyes again and leaned backward, a small smile on his face.
"You two are adorable!" Aace heard from his mom, a blush coming across his face.
"MOM!" Aace yelled, blushing slightly for now. "Ugh, it's really weird… Mi, just read the paper so you can read yours. It's not going to last forever and all that." Aace muttered before blushing again.
"Aw, that's sweet!" Mina joked as Aace looked at her before smirking as he tried not to laugh about it for now. "We need to get going anyway. I'm going to need to go home this week and it ain't like I'm going to learn fishing sooner or later." Mina said with amusement on her face.
"Right… Fishing when you own superpowers. That's so cool." Aace joked before looking around.
Aace did not at all find it as amusing and interesting for now, focused purely upon now what to say and do and how well to try and fix it, for now, interested in what Mina might do next.
She swung her foot up, almost kicking him in the face, it was worth it at least to a small degree, interested in what may or may not be coming next, focused more and more upon issues besides their quirks… It was also just fun to see what Mina tried next and Aace could not deny it was funny to see her on the backfoot so to speak.
Aace easily pushed her limb away before rolling his eye more and more, amused only by it all as of now. it wasn't going to be something that he could only manage to find some amusement in it.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Mina asked before Aace shrugged, looking around the room a few seconds later.
"Maybe, it just depends on what you mean by ok," Aace said before letting out a yawn. "Ain't exactly like I can afford to relax for now and well? Life is just being weird now, ain't it?" Aace said before frowning and cracking his fingers, looking around the room, interested in now, curious as to what to do next.
It was worth it more or less mousing, for now, it'd always be like that for now, interested in something else for now. It'd only be growing more and more with each passing second.
"Your weird, you know that," Mina stated before smirking, only stopping to glance around the room and looking upwards before yawning.
Aace could only fall so amused for now, only so more amused. Aace seemed to be more questioning, for now, focusing only upon if and when it could be ended… Aace was eager to be amused, questioning more and more, and looking to the side.
"Maybe you just odder than me, ever consider that? You're the one with acid powers, Mina, not me." Aace stated before frowning to himself before now.
"Are you going to be ok for now? Aace? You don't normally tease me so much when push comes down to it. I don't even understand, for now, I don't want to try and understand, for now, I don't at all understand for now as to how it could be said and done for now." Aace stated before glancing around, amused yet tired for no real reason.
It would be odd and would continue to be odd, then again. It needed to end sometime soon as all good things need to. Mina was always going to amuse Aace and yet?
Aace was simply going into motions now, curious only if it'd end if allowed, yet? Time and effort would not be earned, time and effort were not worth efforts as if it needed to be tossed in to justify something else.
Still? Aace would laugh as she tried and failed to kick him, it felt a lot like dealing with an older sister or such. Aace easily kicked er to the side a few seconds later, amused for now as of now.
Still? It was a lot more work to need to do and yet? it was a lot more to question as of now before looking upward, guessing Mina simply wanted to mess with I'm for now… Yet? it needed to end sometime soon; I'm not backing down anytime soon.
"You're going down sometime soon… I want you to know that." Mina said as Aace simply rolled his eyes and looked to the side, interested more and more in if they would be able to talk without all bells and wires attached to it.
Aace only tagged her limb before pushing to the side and smirking as of now. Aace before now would only smirk before yawning to himself, looking to the side before now.
It was all too much now, confused and yet unwilling to try and back down before now.
It'd become a small little more and more amusement now, it was a lot more to try and focus upon but it could be to try and end sometime soon, yet? Well, interested more and more in issues unfit for them over and over at the end of the day and it became a lot harder to try and relax upon such issues at the moment.
They had a lot more to try and focus upon and all of this? All of it was entirely making him think more and more of issues that were relaxing upon now when it comes down to it.
Mina was tired, utterly tired, and utterly amused at the end of the day when push came to shove. She wrapped her hands around it as if expecting more and more to come of it.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Mina stated before she shrugged to herself and kicked her feet up on the armrest, shoving her face into the documents at the end of the day.
There was a lot more to try and focus upon and she knew better than to try and relax, to see something there wasn't here. She sighed and frowned to herself while looking to the side as if she was bored.
"Are you? Your acid quirk seems to hurt a lot which means something I don't know anything about it and all of it becomes harder and harder to reconcile." Aace said before almost being elbowed in the side.
It was clear to him that more and more Mina was just playing around as she swung her hands around like she was 10 years younger and kicked a leg up into the and as if a lack of a footrest.
This would cause her to slam face first into the ground and it was clear more and more such details would get worse at the end of the day if she revealed anything.
Still? Aace liked her whimsical nature. It managed to keep him off balance, unsure what may or may not end so soon.
"You know, you are boring me at the moment. I'm going to be able to relax at this rate and I don't want to be able to relax." Aace said as Mina snorted, drained but still with a smile across her face.
It was clear more and more to Aace that she was going to be a very good friend and someone who would and could matter. It was nice to have someone in his life that he could face.
"Cool, then I guess you don't mind if I cozy up with a good buddy?" Mina asked before grinning as she moved forwards to Aace.
Before Aace could respond? The girl already sat on his stomach which made him sigh as she leaned back, kicking her long legs over the edge, and rested her head next to his.
This was making him snort in exhaustion and exhausted aspiration at her antics at the moment as he sighed, utterly tired and exhausted but no less used to such a thing from her at the end of the day.
"Sure, make yourself at home. I'm glad I can be the most heroic chair you've ever sat on." Aace joked at the moment as if growing more and more tired.
"Meh, you are too silly. You constantly want to deal with it the same way, all science like." Mina said before Aace rolled his eyes.
"I'm not the one who has pink skin that only science can explain," Aace said before he hummed and looked down at the ground. "I'm utterly curious what made your horns and eyes that way, though. Maybe it's just caused by your quirk or something." Aace stated before he looked down at the ground and slowly started to look to the side.
"Maybe you just can't explain it the same way. Maybe it's just a lot more to take in. It's not easy thinking about it so simply, is it?" Mina said as Aace simply looked to the side, pushing her arm away from his face as she poked him in the side.
"Life is always weird, Mi. Always, it's going to be weird like that and nothing is going to change that. I just want you to know that it's a lot more to take in than you might think." Mina heard before she snorted.
"That isn't a lie and you knew that over and over," Mina stated, watching Aace look down.
"It isn't a lie if it matters, you know. I don't know a lot, but I know a lot more than you think I do, I don't at all understand many things. Do you want to know something I do? You're going to get pushed off me if you don't stop trying to rile me up." Aace stated before he slowly started to look down at the ground.
Mina laughed, a sound that echoed around the room. His parents paused to look at the two children, utterly unsure of, for now, utterly understanding for now. It was a lot more heartwarming to them to try and understand at the end of the day, not at all sure what it'd bring.
There was a lot more to try and understand, this didn't at all seem real, and it didn't at all make them laugh. Aace looked over at Mina, utterly unsure of what to say and do next. It was a lot more than they were used to as both looked at one another, utterly charmed.
"You're not going to budge, are you? Not even an inch, no?" Aace asked before Mina shook her head and slowly started to hum.
"I'm comfy here. It's the only way we can talk without you making up a bunch of science talk that doesn't make sense." Mina stated before she looked up at the ceiling.
"Oy. You're going to be the death of me when school starts, Mi. You are since I'm going to have to keep an eye on you so you don't do something crazy." Aace said before he hummed, utterly tired, and exhausted more than anything.
He knew at the end of the day that Mina was just being playful and he couldn't blame her. They didn't at least for a few seconds on her mind, all of it seemed to be more and more tiresome at the end of the day.
He didn't see himself at all caring for it at the end of the day as it meant more and more that he was unable to relax at some point, driven insane by more pressing matters.
Aace did not at all let this befall him or make him worry at the time because he knew more and more that whatever he'd be dealing with was limited in retrospect.
Mina swung her legs back and forth as the two heroes in training pondered what to do next.
It would be a while before more training came and both knew there was only so much, they could do without proper hero licenses. They also knew more and more that if they weren't careful?
There would be a lot more worrisome problems to attend to and it'd only proceed to get worse and worse.
Mina seemed to glance off into space as they both yawned at the same time, making his mother squeal in delight as Aace sighed.
He knew more and more that she'd only gawk at them more and more the more time they spent around one another. It was simple logic to try and do so and it drove him insane at the end of the day.
Both of them were just friends who had just met with near-universal love from his family.
"You two will be so adorable at your hero school!" His mother cooed, each word making Aace sigh as he slowly started to think more and more at the moment.
"Thanks, mom, make it easier for her to tease me than it already is…" Aace said before he rubbed at his temples. "Mi, you know I'm going to bump you sooner or later, right? It's really hard to try and move around when your busy sitting on my chest." Aace said as Mina shrugged.
"As I said, I'm comfy. You should have thought about this before trying to sit down and let me do this." Mina said, wiggling her legs in the air like noodles as Aace sighed and leaned backward, simply undecided on everything around him, utterly amused.
"Oy, you are going to be a nightmare at U.A.…" Aace said before he looked up at the sky. "You know this is the big leagues of hero schools, right? We're going to be in the thick of it… Not the best place to train at when you're trying to be all mellow and silly." Aace said as Mina shrugged.
"Hey, that's why you're here, right? All the fancy stuff that I don't want to deal with," Mina said as Aace slowly sighed and thought more and more about what to reply with.
He didn't want to think at the moment nor did he find much to think about, it was clear to him Mina was messing with him and he wasn't at all bothersome to him. He welcomed the distraction from life itself at times, the last thing he'd need was someone raking him over the coals at the moment.
All of it became harder to fathom and she knew it. Mina hummed and looked at Aace.
Who seemed more amused than worried about her antics as the two slowly seemed to fall apart, looking around the room.
She was too focused on issues in the day that it became so hard to focus on the future.
Aace was silent as he knew more and more that whatever would come next would come from it. she knew more and more that if she managed to relax?
Well, she'd never hear the end of it… Not at all, not anytime soon and she knew it… It just had to end and end before it consumed the entire thing.
"I sometimes wonder if your just crazy or not at all trolling me because you feel like you are doing both at the same time," Aace said before he sighed and rolled his eyes himself.
"Maybe I just like messing around with people," Mina said as Aace simply rolled his eyes and fell amusingly quiet. "I see a smirk on your face," Mina said as Aace only seemed to be amused by her antics.
"Maybe because I can't get up and I find this utterly ridiculous?" Aace asked before he looked down at the ground and sighed.
"Mi? You know I'm going to have to babysit you at school, right? The times we tried to train? You showed paperwork and you don't mix… At all, meaning you're not going to be able to do much." Aace said before he sighed, utterly silent at the end of the day, too uncertain and unsure of himself as he glanced around the room.
Mina kicked her feet back and forth like a toddler who had just been on a merry-go-round for the seventeenth time and it honestly seemed as if they'd be fated to be teammates.
It was more and more as the two were utterly aware of the fact, they worked well enough to be a team, one that was far more capable than it lets on at the end of the day and they knew it to be true enough.
Yes, all such problems had to lead back to somewhere sooner or later… All it did was remind them both that they liked being partners and liked driving the other utterly batty. The ideas tempered within it all only drove them further and further together at the moment and nothing at all changed that.
They had a lot more training to go through before they were truly able to properly relax at the moment.
Far too much would it end tragically as neither side could relax, not really caring or taking it seriously as push came to shove, not understanding what it was or what would become of it all.
The sheer idea of it was enough to drive him utterly batty as he contemplated it more and more with each passing second, utterly unconcerned with what came after this.
Still? it was going to be more and more amusing when it comes down to it, he smiled once more before he cracked his fingers and looked down at the ground with amusement written all over him as he did so.
He looked down at the ground as she continued to read the paper in her hands, reminding him that she had decided to use him for a chair simply because she was exhausted.
"You are quiet at times, you know. It's really funny but I don't know what to tell you about it when it comes down to it." Mina said as Aace hummed and put his hand to the side, watching as the soda can on the counter flew towards his hand.
Mina was almost slammed in the face by the can which slid into his hands. She snorted at it but said nothing, almost winding up another kick only for him to block her leg with his elbow, making him more amused than anything. It was so easy to think of such things and he didn't even know what to do next.
"Mi. if you do kick me again? I am going to throw you off me. I am because you're going to also break the chair, we're sitting in doing that. I like this chair and I can't fix it if you break it." Aace said before he looked down at the ground.
"Aw, you two are acting like an old married couple." His mother said as Aace hummed and sighed before rubbing at his eyes with annoyance.
"Thanks, mom. She's just going to tease me over that as well." Aace said before he sighed and looked around with annoyance, looking around as he did so, something annoying him at the moment.
"Well, it's just fun playing with you, Aace. Ok, I'm going outside to go see if I can melt that rock, you were showing me." Mina said before she slowly started to sit up, almost doing a handstand as she did so.
"Good, then we can keep doing hero training," Aace said before he slowly climbed to her feet.
"You love hero training, don't you?" Mina asked, poking him in the side playfully as he moved her hand to the side, making him roll his eyes as he was far too fired up to relax.
He walked to go and get his sandals as she went to go grab her shoes. Ace could only roll his eyes at the time before as he sighed to himself.
"Your something else, you know, Mi? because you are," Aace said, slipping his shoes on. "I'm going to wait outside. We should get as much hero work as possible done. School is only in a few weeks." Aace said before he cracked his fingers and looked over at her, ready for more work when it comes down to it.
Aace hummed and rubbed at his eyes before he seemed to be able to relax for a moment, yawning as he did so.
Whatever he did next would be a lot harder than before, something, not even a fool could claim to do at the moment.
It was a desire something that could and would continue to deal with and a desire to fight far harder than possible, something that baffled her.
She found him funny, amusing at the best of times, and a teasing friend that could only hope to seek more of. It was a nice reminder of the fact that both were good friends and she desired it more and more.
Aace almost tossed her off only to place a hand on his cheek, gazing at the acid-spitting hero who had decided to cling to his back like an oversized opossum. Had she decided on something, not even he could fathom? He didn't know what she wanted and he really could not for the life of him decide if it was better or worse.
No, it felt better, it was amusing more than it was vexing, a desire that he felt as if he could and would be allowed to relax knowing.
"You know, sometimes I feel like you want me to suffer. It makes a lot more sense than you think considering how often you leave me out to dry with everything, Mina. You always have to be like that even if you don't want it to be like, something I do find to be funnier and funnier with each passing day." Aace said as she rolled her eyes and blew a raspberry at him.
It made him chuckle, chortling as she cracked her fingers and acid dripped from her digits.
She did have a way of bringing the best of him out as he did so, a desire to be better than he was, far beyond so.
She yawned, her tongue lapping up the cold air as she pondered how best to use her powers in a manner that benefited them best.
They were both skilled heroes in the right manner and it was clear she knew it as well as he, the boasts were not jabs at her intellect nor were they meant to be better than possible. Something easier said than done.
It made her laugh though, knowing her friend wanted to be.
"You're a sweet talker, you know? Sometimes I might just eat you up, you know that? Sometimes I might just do so." Mina said as Aace rolled his eyes.
"Yes, because someone with magnet and metal powers is a snack. I'm sure I'll hear all about it when we get to school and you make the joke." Aace said before he hummed.
"Just as we walk through the classrooms and I'll joke about how my best friend is busy dealing with the fact that she's terrible at homework and making sure they know it. Oh, what fun it will be to tell everything that Ms. Mina Ashido who is a superstar hero and has such an amazing quirk is terrible to a degree when it comes to homework." Aace said only to get a dash of acid thrown toward him.
"Don't joke unless you want the croak," Mina stated as he rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, because blinding me in one eye is SO going to help us when we get to school and I need to do your homework for you. Truly, it is without a doubt the most influential thing we could do with it all." Mina heard as she rolled her eyes and looked down at the ground as she seemed to look down at the ground.
There was another smirk as he looked down at the ground and rubbed at his fingers, unsure and unable to look down at the moment. She didn't even want to think of the consequences for now and she knew him, she knew that he was unable to fathom her for now.
It was fun, always fun between them as she thought of what was coming at the moment. She smiled at him before she clicked her fingers and watched more acid drip from her fingers, something she didn't even want to fathom was how she'd be without him.
"Are you good, Mi?" Aace asked before he crossed his arms, looking to the side as he seemed able to relax once more.
"Yeah, you?" Mina heard from Aace as he hummed and nodded.
"Yeah. Yeah, I'm just thrown off a little by everything at the moment. All of this was harder and harder to think and the last time I judged your quirk? I don't know if your acid has a limit on what you can melt." Aace said before he cracked his fingers and walked closer, splitting the metal around him to pieces as of the time being.
He sent the metal flying up and into the ground, allowing it to break into pieces only making it fly around his fingers as he thought about it once more, smirking as he hummed once again.
"Are you going to be able to practice or do you want to throw it into the air?" Aace hummed as he seemed it control it more and more, spinning it around his fingers as he snapped his fingers and broke them into small little pieces.
Mina grinned and allowed acid to drip onto the ground, watching as Aace slowly allowed it to float into the air and stepped backward, sitting on a stump next to him.
He didn't at all know what to do as he sighed to himself, unable to try and think of what to fathom before now as of the time being. They had a lot more training to do, what to figure out as of the moment, and yet?
She wanted to relax once more and so did he and he could continue to train as he tossed it into the sky.
He watched every little bit get coated with acid as it shattered into pieces and melted, watching as she seemed to answer once more.
The insanity of it all seemed to scream into the air as now, a desire to grow far beyond this, far beyond what they had been able to relax more when it comes down to it.
They would continue to do so for a measure of mercy. All of it seems to be odder and odder, looking down at the ground before he hummed while he tried to figure out what to see.
All such plants, all measures of mercy can and did look downwards upon the ground as he did so. It was a lot more bothering him for now, he had a lot more to try and deal with it now.
He knew more and more that she was capable of something that could and would grow beyond this.
"You are without a doubt the warrior you think… If you mean your tongue is going to get us out of trouble." Mina joked before Aace hummed and simply glanced downwards.
He didn't at all know what was coming, what he had left to deal with for now. her training was odder and odder, an idea that he could and would continue to deal with.
"You know, only one of us seems to be doing the training. Anything less and I doubt you're going to be able to train any other way." Aace said as he rubbed at his snout, able to think for now.
He didn't at all know what could and would be able to help if he was pushed into doing so properly.
What he didn't at all know was that he had been cut from the clothes to which he had been dragged along it over and over.
"Very funny, Aace," Mina said before she fired acid at one of the targets and watched it crack apart.
"I'm not the one who isn't training and is just letting it all happen, really not my fault all of it has to happen a certain way," Aace said, watching the target fall apart.
"Your very lucky there's a lot of dying trees we can make into targets or else I'd probably, again, and again, be reminding you not to break it all… The poor tree never even stood a chance." Aace joked, looking downwards at the ground.
All of it seemed to be able to break, all of it collapsed, unable to stomach anything as it came down to it. the wood collapsed.
He was bitten in half by her acid as she looked at him, an amused smirk eating away at her features which he knew was just perfect.
Truly, it was just too perfect when push came to shove, she smirked at him, rocking on the heels of her feet.
Aace could only roll his eyes, knowing that she was messing with him and would continue doing so as long as it worked… At least for him? it didn't to a massive degree and he was willing to admit that if something came down to it.
Well, it was a lot easier to deal with more and more upon such a moment.
All of it was a moment he could only seek to enhance, to grow more and more knowing that it would make him far stronger than before.
A lot stronger than he had wished to be… Then anyone did when it came down to it.
He had a lot more to try and understand and a lot more to try and figure out as he looked downwards once more, he had been unable to properly focus on what else to do.
She meant well and so damn well did he. Both of them were a team, both of them had weaknesses and were capable of far more capable than before.
"You ever consider what will become of all heroes like us? Fighting the noble battles nobody seems to care about? I do because we're going to be in a school for teaching it and it isn't like we aren't going to be in the midst of something." Aace said as he crossed his arms, reveling in what might come.
He didn't at all know for the moment what to say or do as both were damn good terms to which to try and wind one up upon. Neither was wrong… in fact? Not a single time would it be allowed, not for a single second would they judge.
Neither did, both were to try and figure out for now when it came down to it, they had a lot more to see, all of it was to burn well and damn good, and for now?
Well? He had a lot more to try and see from her and it was bugging him to no damn end, none.
He rubbed at his temples as she stamped the ground, melting a bit of grass as she did so. He only rolled his eyes, truly well and all tuckered out, unsure and unable to figure it all out.
He hummed and crossed his arms while looking at her before slowly starting to look downwards at the ground, he wanted nothing more than to say something else. He was too prepared for now as he clicked his jaw against the roof of his mouth.
This was a nightmarish thing, something he could not touch, could not allow being near him, no. It was just part of life and he supposed that was how it was to be.
"I'm sorry if I was too snarky, I don't handle stuff like a lack of jokes or something well… Not when it comes down to hero work… I am nervous." Aace said as Mina nodded and looked at her friend.
They had something else on his mind and he was unsure of his path when it came to it. he could walk it all damn day and yet it scared him, truly, it did. It scared him a lot not to know when it was all said and done.
Life was full of those sorts of decisions, wasn't it? Where he could be pushed to do something that made him terrified for her more than he was.
He could just take the damn test again and again until it was thrown down on the ground. He wasn't going to be able to relax once more as of the time being as he sighed to himself.
Life was weird like that, wasn't it? Life was always throwing curve balls that he couldn't at all see for now, see a difference for now at the end of the day. Whatever he could and would do next was going to be a problem.
Mina looked downwards before she looked at the ceiling before she sighed as Aace clicked to try and figure it out once more as she looked downwards at the ground.
"Are you good? We have a lot more to try and figure out, your acid density was honestly a little off. I don't even know what to try and see." Aace hummed before he sighed to himself.
They had a lot more to try and ensure for now while he seemed to be odder and odder as he questioned what to see and do next, questioned what the next big move is for the moment. He knew very well that Mina and he BOTH needed a LOT of training, a LOT.
Problem was? neither could figure it out before now because neither at all could go back and train in such a way for the time being.
Studying was a sweet sorrow, one he didn't at all wish upon the worst enemy but he knew it well and he knew how well it could and would go for now… A desire to change and become better he knew it to be true in a way he just didn't at all envision for now.
Aace only hummed, ready to watch her do a handstand and then fall face first into the ground as she did so. Mina was super gifted and fast on her feet… She also wasn't very good at trying not to face plant when she got excited.
It wasn't supposed to be funny but he doubted one could blame him for something that wasn't at all his fault and never would be. He found it funny but he couldn't at all reflect who she was.
Everything about it? Everything about her always seemed to make him marvel how odd it was for now, how odd she seemed to be power wise.
Acid was a massively odd power for someone who lacked the control to try and arrest his own decisions at the end of the day. Whatever he didn't say? He'd have spilled later for now if he was honest.
Still? How could she control it? How powerful was this woman? It was amazing, simply amazing for the time being, a decision he could not allow ending for now, otherwise, they would scream and cry into the void.
Perhaps he should have said something otherwise or else they'd all cry and scream into the dirt for now, broken and yet still fighting for the time being as of now. A very good sign of something yet to come.
More and more did they grow beyond it as of now… A train that would keep growing… What had to be consumed, would always be consumed. This wouldn't be a lot more troublesome than before usual.
What did he deal with next? He wouldn't be dealing with it alone; he knew more and more that whatever he dealt with next was going to be a spark he could not easily deal with for now.
Mina sighed as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, tired for now, something that continued to bother him again, and yet he sighed as he hummed to himself, ready to grow beyond it.
They had a lot more to see and do for now, something today that was going to keep going for now, a measure of the mercy that he had to keep dealing with as he shook his head.
"You know, training isn't going to keep getting easier, not at all… We have a lot more to see and do. It becomes harder and harder to figure out." Mina said before she hummed and looked downwards at the ground before she hummed, unsure of it.
They had a lot more to see and do, he knew that more than anyone… What came next was not going to be a problem as he clicked his tongue against the roof. This isn't going to be easy but it would need to be done and he knew it as of this.
Mina would continue to keep growing upwards and upwards, she had a lot more to see and do as she would grow as a hero.
They all did something that could not be dealt with easily. She felt acid drip from her fingers onto the ground, staining it once more.
"Are you going to keep standing there or do something that keeps bugging yourself?" Mina asked as Aace hummed and looked downwards at the ground.
"Sorry, I'm thinking of a lot more, there's a lot," Aace said before he clicked his fingers against the top of his mouth.
He had a lot more to see and do as he trained more and more at the end of the day; this was going to be something hellish.
This wouldn't continue to be a problem; he had a lot more to see and do as he felt himself gazing down at the ground. This oddly continues to make him hum as he circled more metal cubes before he clicked his fingers together, making them all float around his fingers.
"If you wish to try and figure out how your powers work… It won't be easy, but I want to try and see how well it will work out." Aace said and he hummed to himself more as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
They had a lot more to see and do before now as she looked at the ground, they had a lot more to see and do at the end of the day as he cracked his fingers.
Aace didn't at all manage to say anything about it as he looked downwards at the ground, something about it all would continue to bother him for now. She had a lot of skill and so did he, they were both good at their abilities.
Still? For better or worse? She trusted him and he had a duty not to let her down… To the end.
"You should know that the training is going to need to be better than last time. If we don't improve? It isn't going to matter how much training we do." He stated as he looked downwards at the ground.
There was a lot more to need to do before they relaxed… What needed to be done was just part of the business at the end of the day.
He yawned, utterly unsure of what to see and do as he ground his jaw against the roof of his mouth, he had a VERY long time to try and figure it out,
What he did do next? This wasn't going to be fun… Even if he didn't manage it? He would allow himself to relax once again which was all he asked about, all he wished for at the moment… Yet it wasn't going to last, he knew that VERY well at the moment.
"Sometimes I wonder if we're going insane, you know… Never makes sense to you at the end of the day. Something about it just seems to keep dealing with it again and again at the end of the day." Mina heard as she blinked, looking down at the ground in interest.
Author Notes
Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be delayed. The next chapter is in 2-10 months and will show more of Mina and Aace training and setting up the arc at school. Until then? Lighting Wolf out!
P.S: I will be writing for other stories in MHA soon enough at the moment.
