Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Acidic Allies. Enjoy the 8400-word chapter. I do not own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi, and a few others do.

Aace paused to think, he held several pieces of broken metal in his fingers before he looked over to Mina.

"Promise you are not going to throw more and more acid at me if I throw this right?" Aace asked before raising an eyebrow. "You know I am not acid-proof, right? That stuff gets on me, I am going to burn." Aace stated.

"I thought your science stuff said that this is going to be hurt at all," Mina said as Aace snorted.

"I said that I am going to try and think about it. These metal pieces are going to be sharp enough to sting." Aace stated.

"So, you're trying to hurt me?" Mina asked.

Aace hummed, pausing to look at the barefoot, acid-spitting hero. She had not been able to relax more and more with each little second of the day, she had known more and more that Aace was trying to deal with it for now as she paused.

Aace paused to try and deal with it, she had known herself, knowing the depths within him before now. Perhaps it was for the best.

Yet? Aace knew damn well what needed to be done and he would act for now as she cracked a smile and then looked to the ground.

She had not been able to deal with it in the same way and so had not he. He had a lot damn more on his mind and that was not going to change, he was going to be willing to try and deal with it for now when it had been dealt with for now.

He had far too much to do for now as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, he had not been able to relax in quite a while.

So, he decided to try and relax. He hummed and let it all wash over him before he finally decided to speak a few seconds later.

"You will be ok. There is a lot more to see and do next… All of it means something… And here we are doing superhero training. I am just a bit amused for now." Aace said before he sighed.

Aace hummed before he looked downwards and looked to the side. She could not do this but he was going to react like one, he was amused for now and then looked to the side.

There were a lot of things he could do and this was not something that he could deal with to the end.

He had been relaxed; he had been tiresome. This was something else at the end of the day.

This was a chaotic little thing which he had been unable to deal with it, there was chaos which he had to keep growing through it.

She looked at him before he paused to try and let it all come flooding in on this very day and age. She poked him playfully before it came down to it all over the day.

To be fair? He did not even know her and she did not know him but damn it if he would care much about such issues.

He had not been able to relax for now. He sighed and then looked downwards at the ground; he had been able to think.

"So, anything you looking forward to at the school?" Mina asked.

"I do not know because I do not understand what the next plan is going to be… If I did? I would not be here." Mina heard from Aace as he sighed.

He had not the faintest idea of what was growing on his mind. He had been thrown off by it but not once did he relax lest it all crash down.

Aace was silent for the moment, knowing what the best move was to have been if nothing else. He would not let it all come to an end at the end of the day.

He sighed, tired and yet worn down to the bone. He had not been able to relax before he seemed to try and deal with it.

He had not been able to think of it. He had been as he clicked for now as he paused to let it all come crashing down at the end of the day. He had been familiar with her as she thought of her next move…

Though? He had zero ideas of what he would do when they reached the other side, he had known what was coming, and he had prepared for it as best he could, knowing what was to have been this way and would continue to have been like it had been before.

He sighed and tapped on his legs, knowing what she would do and what he would do when push came to shove. He had not the best way to fix it, not when he had other ideas on his mind.

To be fair? He had not been able to relax, not at all knowing what was growing on his mind.

He had not been able to relax, knowing that he could have dealt with it and knowing what the next group of beasts which he had not been able to deal with.

Mina hummed and leaned backward, knowing what would become of it all as she looked to the side, knowing what was growing on her mind.

He was just too interested in the next idea he had to offer for now. He was amused, knowing what he could grow used to as he paused to let it all slowly sort to fall apart.

He had been eager to see it all come to an end either way, all that would come was a taste of what had been denied and what would come next now.

He had been too tired, too unable to deal with it properly. She would only accept them in the case of nothing coming to let it all go to waste when it came to choosing, she had not been able to try and think of it for now.

She would not be able to deal with it, Mina hummed, crossing her feet under her, knowing what would become of it either way.

She had zero desire to end now, zero logic now, interested in what would come. Aace wasted zero time in trying to understand it, she had zero desire to end it, knowing that he was oddly at peace… Aace was tired, knowing what would become of it.

The warrior within him was too easily subdued as there was no real idea to let it all end. She had no real desire to let it all for now as it came down to something so unnatural.

She would not relent, she would not allow it to end… Knowing what was to happen next at the end of the day, a desire to let it all end either way would be too thrown off for now.

She thought of Aace for a moment, guessing that he was interested in the next move made.

She knew her next move was what would come at the end of the day, she would continue to let it all come down to it. Mina seemed to be fine with it as she paused to let it come from it.

"You tired? Are you ok? There are a lot of things that I know we are going to have to get used to relaxing." Mina stated before she sighed, knowing what would become of it.

She was not used to anything, not when there was more chaos to deal with for now.

Mina was quiet, she was too easily distracted… Even a few seconds of silence from the girl was easily relaxed.

"You are the one I worry about, Mina," Aace said before he looked up into the sky. "I worry a lot… The math does not lie about that, not even for a joke." Mina said before she sighed.

Mina hummed and tapped on her legs, adrenaline coursing through her like venom through a snake. She had been able to try and figure out what she could do.

Whatever did she want? She would do, she knew that and she knew it very well to an insane degree.

To be entirely fair? She knew him, she knew him very well now, not at all eager to let it wash over all of them, wishing to test them in ways she had not understood then but did now.

She was tired and relaxed but she knew it well enough to end either way. Perhaps there was something buried under it all either blasted way and that was enough to have been dealing with for now as she paused to think of it before she seemed to be dealt with for now as it came to it.

She had been able to deal with it for now as he clicked his fingers and then paused to look to the side.

Mina hummed, glancing to the side, thinking for now as she clicked her fingers once more.

She sighed to herself, knowing what would become of it either way, there was no real way to figure it out as of now.

Mina hummed, poking him in the chest, knowing what would come next.

There was silence on her mind, poking Aace on the side, knowing what would be done and dusted on it as she sighed, knowing what would become of it now.

"You are so weird," Mina stated.

"So are you," Aace stated, smirking. "You're always going to be like this? Am I going to have to be your babysitter until the end of time?" Aace stayed sighed to himself and then looked to the side.

He was amused more, crossing her legs under her as she leaned against her friend, humming to herself, and then falling to think of it all the way when it was all said and done.

Life would be harder and harder now for the two teenagers, knowing what would become it. She sighed, knowing that it might break eventually.

There was a lot more to this before she relaxed, humming as she looked to the side.

"You know that more and more problems will be all said and done sooner or later," Mina stated before she paused to look down at the ground.

She seemed to be dealing with it for now, she cracked her fingers and then looked to the side.

"You know that there will be plenty of problems I have to deal with for now… There are a lot of things I cannot know what will be done for now… But I do know that there are more problems than we can handle." Mina heard from Aace.

Aace knew she meant well so he could not deal with it now. They were kids fighting a war against the rest of the world and it was hard to deal with now.

Aace hummed to himself, thinking only of the future as well, he would not be ready for now, there was chaos to figure out either way.

He had a lot of things to deal with for now and for good reason. He had no such reasons, nothing he would ever be able to deal with properly, not when it was all said and done.

He was not ready to fight, to relax, and to settle it in the same way he had before, there was something else on his mind, something that would not be denied.

'She is so weird but she is so strong, it feels like something from an anime. There is a monster that I feel she is dealing with but I cannot put my finger on it.' Aace thought as he paused to himself.

He had been too distracted by this; she was trying to think of it in a different way that it almost made him think of something he could not deal with. He was taken aback when it was all said and done, all of it? All he could see and do once more was blink.

Mina hummed and then looked to the side, glancing at Aace as she looked around. She sat cross-legged on his legs before she paused and then thought once more. She was tired and she was bored but she did not even know what was to occur when this was over.

All of it was amusing to her, she had known things that she could not deal with for now as it came down to it. She liked having Aace next to her, trying to figure it out at the end of the day.

The problems would continue to build and it would not end anytime soon. He was just amusing her and she liked it, he liked to have her around… All of it was going to end badly. Yet? she could and would be amused around him and that alone was something that she enjoyed about having him around.

Aace seemed bored, tired, and worn down. He had been through too much training to just deal with this so easily for now as it came crashing to the ground.

It would not be something that needed to end once more. Aace was interested in something beyond her own chaotic little thing.

Aace seemed to be thinking of this as he poked her in the side, making her turn to look to the side as well.

"You do not make any sense; I just want you to know that at times… There are a lot of surprises coming up at the school… We are going to be in the thick of it once more." Aace said.

"And you are panicking?" Aace heard from Mina as she tapped on her feet, tired. "We are becoming heroes for different reasons… But we are kids, it is school. I think you are overreacting just a bit, doofus." Mina stated.

Aace only rolled his eyes, knowing that she was tired once more. All of it seemed to be dealt with in different ways and both were relaxed in their ways, both fought for heroics in different ways, and both liked being friends in different ways.

It all counted for different methods which added up in either way. All this simply amused him no matter what was growing on his brain as he looked to the side.

This would be heroic all the end of the day, the chaos which needed to relax. If he did not know that? He would not know a lot of things at the end of the day once more.

All of that seemed to be mixing in waves and droves which he had not been able to shape for now. Something that needed to be said and done at this very second, would not do for it to fall apart so easily.

Yet? Mina was not stupid. She did not know everything but she knew enough where she stood at the end of the day. There were a lot of things that she had yet to deal with for now.

Perhaps it seemed to be dealt with for now as she poked him in the side, amused as he futilely grasped for her arms. She giggled to try and deal with it as Aace rolled his eyes, looking at her with but a moment.

She was silent, she had a lot more to deal with than he had done before. Perhaps it was just odd like that and he had yet to realize it.

He sighed, knowing that it was next to impossible to control this girl. It was part of why he liked her at the end of the day… There was at least something of an odd view on his mind as he thought about her.

'This girl is stuck with me, isn't she? At times? I almost think she is not human for now.' Aace thought as he sighed and then looked to the side.

He was paused, he was tired and he knew he was not going to be allowed to get up until she was bored and tired… Both things would not happen if she was like how she was now.

Still? it amused him, it was rare, even for him to be dealing with it all now and he would not.

She turned, rotating on his body as he looked at her. There was a second of silence as the two paused to take in the other for now… And yet? They knew the other kinda like the back of their hand.

"Wanna play a game?" Mina asked as Aace shrugged.

"Don't have much better to do, mi," Aace stated as he shrugged and then slowly yet surely climbed to his feet.

He was not stupid, nor would he be stupid for now… It was harder and harder to think of this girl the same way that he could do so for now, it would not matter how he had felt now.

He yawned and she almost poked a finger in his mouth as he rolled his eyes. This girl had tried so much to get a rise out of him and almost everything worked for the moment, it had been hard to list every single little thing.

She knew him to a degree that even if he wished to? He could not stop himself from laughing around her. Her laughter was amusing to him as it was intoxicating to her. All of it seemed to cut through every defense he had.

He should see if it was effective in combat… If he could… Then he would just end up finding more questions than answers at the end of the day when push had come to shove.

Aace at the end of the day was more amused, more driven by it than he would admit. Did he know at the end of the day that such promises to try and understand her? They were meaningless because he could and should have to do them.

Such a part of him was more and more amused at the prospect of trying to understand what had been done.

She poked and prodded at him playfully, guessing without a moment of peace that such would go unnoticed at all. Aace watched as she poked and prodded his face, forcing a smile by jamming her fingers in his gums.

Aace could only chuckle inwardly at this. Her antics were far beyond saving …. But they were too damn entertaining for him just to get rid of now, he had so much left to do.

He was silent, he was confused in ways he wished to be down the road… And even then? He could not deal with it as it meant the destruction of his powers.

He poked her back, watching her smirk as she finally got a small amount of amusement from him which was not based on anything. She could tell it had been from something beyond the do.

Something about it was too enticing for him not to find it amusing than he would at being able to relax. Letting it all fall to the ground was how it would need to collapse over the side.

Whatever he held in his ideas? Well, they would break. Everything broke eventually. There was nothing further to be done, nothing that could be done. It all hurt in different ways, one she could not predict.

Aace was silent, beaten down by it all, and knowing what was going on now, even he could not do much.

All of it seemed to be beyond the pale for she smirked at him and then sat up gently, pausing only so he could not try and figure it out well enough… No, something was wiggling in the grass.

He hummed and then sighed before he finally fell to the ground, he knew more and more at the end of this day… Of all such days, that it would amuse her in some sort of way.

All of it was hard enough to make Aace fall back for only a moment as he knew what was going on… But he would not submit, he could not it so there was little that could be and should have been in some damned way that could consider it whole for now.

Even that alone seemed to be dealt with for now as it came down to it once more… There were a lot of things that had to be done for them in the future, this was not one of them… It would not be anything they had not been able to deal with at the end of the moment.

Mina seemed to be amused… So, he was amused, he would be amused so long as there was something to be amused about. The problems were simple in the fact it took too long to account for it.

Still? There was something to understand and he knew it at the end of it once more.

He was a lot more unwilling to try and figure and figure it out… There was a lot more to try and figure out.

"You should know that a lot of what's going to happen next is going to be even crazier than you," Aace said as Mina poked him again. "You kick me again, I am throwing you in the stream, Mi. You know I will." Aace stated before he sighed and looked at her.

She did not even at all know what was going on since then. She had been too thrown off and too amused.

Mina slowly turned to look at Aace, knowing that it was going to be a fun ride down and both knew it. both were aware of what awaited them and did not even attempt to try and figure out another course of action.

Mina hummed and set her hands on his knees, Aace was only a foot or so taller than her but it still made her feel short… Still? Aace was not a wimp even if she could tell he did not run around often.

"Can carry me but still cannot dance, hmm…." Mina stated, pricking his nose with her pinkie.

"Yeah, because despite the fact one of us is the one with acid powers? She thinks everyone can breakdance… Despite the fact you are different biologically from me." Aace stated with a sigh.

Mina shrugged and just leaned back, content to amuse him. She knew Aace was still a good friend under all the science talk he tried to throw at her, he was still amused at her dancing and she knew very well he would try it even if it dumped him flat on his rump.

The part she did not like was knowing just how well things would have turned out if she had done a single thing wrong. Aace was not a bad person… But he was annoying when it came to it and she knew very well that all of it.

Both sat in uncomfortable silence either way, not once did they move or even blink. They sat in this silence knowing very well that whatever it was? There was not going to be enough amusement to last and for a good reason.

She was not stupid, she would never win a contest for being smart but she was not stupid, Aace knew this and she knew how well he was with all due respect.

She acted like he did at least for the insult would be something to contain a monster within, there was nothing there besides pain and anger on the walls, all mocking her in different ways.

She would not be mocked now and not by school, not by these people.

Aace hummed as she pushed his face into an awkward facsimile of a smile, he still laughed and swatted playfully at her hands.

Aace knew she was messing with him and he found immense joy in it, IMMENSE when it came to attempting to be better than this. He found himself laughing to the end, she was delightful, she was a delightful character and he adored her for it.

Still? All of it paled when he saw her smile. She laughed like a hyena and cartwheeled away.

For the life of himself? Aace still found it funny, even hilarious that he was able to relax like this in such a way.

He followed her as she smirked and taunted him with devil horns. He laughed and continued to chase her, almost tripping into piles of mud big enough to swallow a small horse. He knew she was trying to bait him and it was working.

Aace chased her deeper into the small little thicket of trees closest to the edges of their homes. She was a crafty girl; he would give her that much.

Aace turned the corner only to be met with a whoop as the girl laughingly tossed herself at him like a giant monkey.

He struggled as he laughed, her wrapping her legs around him like some sort of giant monkey. He barely managed to do anything short of collapsing if he had wanted to.

He hummed and almost seemed amused more at her tenancy than anything as Aace struggled with her weight more than any type of effort on how tall she was.

He sighed as he realized this woman was insane…. She would remain insane so long as he laughed, smirking at her.

"I did not realize my best friend was a primate…. Well, could be, I do need to run some tests." Aace stated.

Mina swatted at him, playfully placing a smack upon his skull as she hummed, Aace sliding down a tree which still made them wince from how hard the bark was.

It felt like they had been dragged over a hot bed of coals as she and he reclined against it, too tired to say or do much and such.

She was able to think of it for now as she paused to try and deal with it for now. She paused to try and figure it all out as both looked at one another and then looked around before she thought of what was happening.

She and he paused and then hummed, cracking her fingers before she thought. Whatever came next was amusing to them, and knowing that only made her more amused and more eager to play.

Aace could not hold it against her, knowing it was just how she was and there was nothing about that which bothered him at the end of it.

Nothing about it seemed to be weird for them, only knowing that it was fun and exciting for them and that was good enough for them.

There were a lot of things when it came down the line now. He tumbled and rolled like a boulder down the slope, almost landing in a ball as he realized the area, they landed in was just as thick with mud and grime as anything else.

He snorted and finally collapsed against a tree near him, knowing that he was too tired and too exhausted to let it occur that way.

She did not know what was going on as she paused to let it all come down the line. Aace knew more about the science stuff, but Mina was all too amused before she relaxed more.

It had been clear something else was going to be done for now as she paused to let it come down the line.

Mina seemed to be done with this for now as she paused and looked to the side.

Both she and he looked at each other once again, their backs slick with mud before she seemed to try and figure it out once more.

Mina was too fascinated by the future; she was too fascinated with the next move possibly made.

"What do you think will happen when we both get to fancy school? Both problems were something I just do not get, I do not get how you seem to know so much, smarty pants." Mina stated.

"What do you think is on my mind all the time? Hmm? It is all that science stuff you do not like." Aace stated.

Mina snorted but she could not entirely refute his point, there was something about it all which seemed to be too bothersome for even her.

Mud pooled around both teens, she felt her legs caked in it as she and he leaned against a tree next to him.

"You know this is more amusing than you think, right? Because it is, there were a lot of things I cannot believe you think… All I do is run around." Aace stated before he sighed to himself and thought of what to do next.

Aace sighed and looked at Mina. This weird girl was all he did not understand about the world. She was just too weird for him to properly relax dealing with.

He simply decided against trying to make sense before she fell silent, knowing what was going on and knowing he had to relax. Aace had to let the energy within him ebb and flow away, he had to let it die away.

He had been too odd, far too odd for normal. Yet? he was amused and he liked being amused, he liked how he had been too interested in what he had to deal with.

Aace had been too tired and too thrown off for himself to properly process it all. He was too exhausted and amused at the end of the day, that much was clear, that much was too much fun for now.

The chaos was to be done with such a little amusement. They held onto such a thing in fear of it now and for good reason… At the end of it? They might not have anything.

Mina was silent as she looked at him, he smirked… Like he always did, he laughed as he realized how silly it was.

But he did not care. He was a kid; they both were and Aace had too much fun for either of them now and for good reason at the end.

Aace finally panted in exhaustion, his face thoroughly covered in mud as the boy slid down the tree.

He of all people knew Mina was being herself, he could not fault her… And he did not even care much for that roadblock.

To be fair? It was hard to argue with how much fun he had been having with her, she was too amusing now… Far too amusing and too much for him to deal with now and for good.

Aace would look at Mina, his face painted in drops and drops of mud with flecks of it all over his clothing as he sighed and peeled his sandals off and sighed before looking into the pit of mud they had fallen by.

He knew very well that both he and she were going to be intertwined in such a thing that it would break them apart.

Mina managed to make so much fun that even he at the end of the day… Of such a thing? Was drop dead exhausted… He knew more and more that Mina was going to be a good friend, she pushed him… And he pushed her right back.

It was odd but he would be joking if he said he did not find it funny in its way… He held onto such an idea that it might not be enough to fix… Now and for good reason.

Yes, it seemed even he of all people could be surprised and that was… Fun, it was nice to the end of the day and night.

All of it became harder and harder to figure out… Such things were very hard to deal with but it was due to that being… Odder.

Both knew what was to come, they held onto such an idea for now that it had hit hard.

"You know… If I was not laughing? You would be coated in… Oh, you are." Aace stated.

Aace sighed and then looked off to the side, too tired now to understand it now, and for good reason.

Yes, too much had been taken from them… But not innocence, not a drop of the innocence that had been hiding away for a long time… A very long time and something that held no significance now.

Yes, it seemed even he of all people could and would be dealing with it now and for good reason. All of it seemed to be worth the madness… Even if he found her too odd to handle now and for good reason.

Mina looked at Aace as he hummed now before she thought of it all when it came crashing down to it as she looked to try and figure it out now.

She did not know it for now as she thought of now and for good reason. She would continue to think of him as a friend and she would continue to keep being done with now and for good reason at the time being.

She poked at him, poking at his face which would elicit a smirk on his face as she thought of her next move. She did not know what would come to her mind.

She did not know what would happen now at the time. Mina smirked as Aace seemed to be thinking of what was going on now before he sighed to himself…

He would wish it to be different as Aace seemed to be done and dusted as it came crashing down to the ground.

Mina was eager to think of it in the best way possible. Mina was eager to grow more and more as of the time being when she thought once more.

"You are being too weird, Aace. You just keep MUCKING things up." Mina stated before poking Aace in the face, smattering mud on her face for now as she thought once again.

Aace seemed to be done and dusted as she hummed to herself. They held a LOT more now to deal with and he sighed before now…. Aace was too interested in now.

He laughed, poking at her, tiring to think of it once more. She was too eager to think of it now and forever.

Now? Now it was just fun… Now? He had been too eager to think of what was growing now as she wished to think of it now when it was all said and done.

Mina hummed to try and figure it out now…. She wished to be done and think of it all now.

She hummed as she looked at Aace, Mina was eager to play and she was playing with him. She was eager to grasp once more as she wanted to try and then think for now at the time being.

Mina and Aace were a team and she thought once more of everything… Thinking of it all now and for good reason.

Both were happy, both would always be happy. They were too amused to care about being covered in the mud… Covered in mud, a massive amount of it which had drenched them to the tips of their hair.

Both he and she were too interested in it all, she knew him… She would always know him as it was common when it came down to it. She wished to try and figure it out now and for a good reason.

Both he and she were coming on it now as she paused it to try and understand it for now. All of it was growing more and for good.

Mina was too amused for now as she seemed to try and think of it now when it came down to it. Mina leaned on him, mud soaking from him to her and then back again. Both were tired and both were amused when it was all said and done.

She had been amused as was he, both knew they would not have many reasons to enjoy things when school started.

She and he were different but both enjoyed it for now at the end of the day. Both rather enjoyed it as he looked at her.

"Only you of all the people would have tackled me into the stupid mud pit," Aace stated as he tossed a small mountain of it on her, making her grimace before she kicked him into a fresh pit.

"Hey, if you do not lighten up? You are never going to have fun." Mina said as he tugged her in.

"I am having fun… I am also having 20 stupid showers because SOMEONE decided to ruin clothes that I just got." Aace stated before he hummed.

He smirked still either way, why? Because he did not care much for how it looked or even felt, he was too distracted, far too much had been going on for him of all people to be done when it was all said and done.

She would continue it for now and for good reason. She and he felt amused at the end of it for the time.

She and he smirked at each other, too interested in what was going on when it came down to it as of the time being when it crashed his fingers together.

Aace knew he could not complain, why? Because he knew more and more at the time being, too interested in what he would be doing.

But this? This was funnier, they had a lot of things left to do at the time being, and he of all people knew this was to deal with now.

She and he leaned on the tree, too amused by everything to move, she and he were tipped off by more and more excitement.

She and he were both amused, Aace because he knew Mina was just messing with him, and Mina because she knew Aace was far more amused than before, now, and forever. They had to try and deal with it to the end.

Mina of all people was too interested in more than just playing around… Granted? Most of them were done like this.

All of them were tired and they were bored but Mina and Aace did not care, did not even slightly shrug at it. This was funny and it was far more damn amusing than it could have been before.

All of it up until now would have been far funnier when they had time left to understand it. Such was life and life did not exactly seem to be as nice as it should have been now and for good reason.

It was far more amusing to both Aace and Mina anyway. All of it painted the picture of someone who was in far too much trouble to think and act.

Aace for all his snark was still amused by her… He would continue to feel some measure of mirth by her as it was causing him to feel something odd.

Granted, Mina was always going to be odd when it came to these sorts of things… Mina was his rock, she was the stone in the ocean that continued to beckon itself to move.

Mina, not caring now as she was covered in mud either way, dove back into it as Aace snorted, merely watching her with interest.

Something about it all became harder and harder… She of all people did not know… She would never know, perhaps it was the curse.

Aace settled centimeters on the edge of the waist-deep mud pool. If he was stupid enough to dive in? He knew that all of them were growing to be different now.

Mina snorted at him and beckoned the hero into the pit only for Aace to snort, looking at her with amusement.

"What are you doing… How are you doing?" Aace asked as Mina shrugged, mud covering her.

"You know if you get out of that? Your clothes are just going to fall right off." Aace said, turning his face to the side.

She of all people simply smirked. She showed little to no embarrassment at such an idea which almost made him want to scream.

Something about it all simply made him smirk as he looked at her... Aace seemed to think of it like she was playing with a pool or something.

Mina was eager to figure something out and she knew of it differently than them… All of it hit now and both were able to relax.

Yes, both thought of their predicament. They had a lot more to see and do now. She had been too eager to think of things… And far too eager to keep them.

Aace simply rolled his eyes at her antics as he paused and then guessed all of it was going to be done differently. She always managed to catch him off guard.

And of all people, Aace simply did not care enough to push him differently.

"I am so going to hate myself," Aace muttered before he stood up.

Aace seemed to get slowly yet surely pulled into something differently… He of all people knew jumping into the mud would be like trying to mess with a shark.

Yet? He knew either way he would get into the mud, Mina was not the type to show mercy to her friends when it came to messing with them now at the time being.

She had been able to think… And she was going to make him do something he would HATE doing either way but he felt he had no real choice in the matter besides to do it now.

So? Aace hummed, tiring himself as he thought of what was growing on his mind, something about it all amused him… It amused Aace very damn much.

He knew at the time that what was unleashed was small potatoes… And Aace found that just jovial, he found it all jovial.

He looked over at Mina who stood next to him, sinking deeper and deeper into the mud as it was clear the mud would not stop them. He had been thrown into the deep end as of now.

Aace had been amused before, he had been very amused and fired up at the time being… All of that was oddly on point. Yet? he knew that Mina of all people was just goofing off.

He had been relaxed; he had been able to think of it to the end. Aace could care less how little she cared for the rules…

She was amused, she was always going to be amusing and she had torn down now, something about it all came down.

Aace hummed as he slowly started to think of what was going on… She did not even question it; he did not even consider it to be something worth resisting… Then again? If anything? He found some small comfort in it, some small idea as to HOW it should have been played as a game.

He found some small comfort in that now at the time being…. An idea of it was different… An idea that had been carried through to the end.

"Is there any single way I can stop this? You know damn well I would and could." Aace said as he walked over to Mina.

He hummed, too tired to resist as Mina began to surge towards him. part of him was amused by the fact the mud made the energic girl as slow as a snail in it despite how fast she was.

"Mina, you cannot run in it… And you cannot walk in it either… It is mud, you do not walk in mud, you sink." Aace pointed out with the same amount of amusement he found in PLENTY of things.

Aace of all people was disturbed and he was disturbed in a good way by it all.

This was something which needed to be thrown aside… And even then? It was clear something about it all became odder and odder, something about it all was insanely odd… But it was clear Mina did not care because he doubted anything phased her, the woman could be hurtling into a volcano and probably still be ok.

Part of him envied that attitude… While the rest of him simply found it as terrifying as one would if they were that fearless.

He of all people knew Mina thrived on his silly this was… She thrived on more than this for now.

Still? He had been able to think of it had being funny, very funny now at the time being. That much was certain on his mind, either way, he sliced it all to the side.

She had been through the time being, something that had been too tired at the end of the day before he looked to the as he paused to look to the ground.

Mina laughed to herself before she looked to the side, something that had been thrown into the sky.

Aace hummed and then cracked his fingers, looking to the side, something that had been too exhausting at the end of it all before he slid into the mud which came up to the nape of his throat.

'If I could take a shower? I would be taking 50 of them for this, I know damn straight I am.' Aace thought as he sighed to himself, more exhausted at the end of it.

He was too amused at the time not to consider it all more and more amused now when it was said and done.

He looked over at Mina, watching as she smirked at him, almost finding amusement in the fact she had gotten to him. He would assume it was that if not for the fact that she held a giant pile of mud in her hands like a small mountain.

He sighed and knew damn well that he was going to be needing a day's worth of showers either way… Might as well indulge.

They had a lot more to deal with either way.

(5 minutes later)

Aace scrambled out of the pit, drenched in mud to where he resembled more and more a corpse dug up from the depths than a human being… Granted, not only was he entirely amused by it all.

He was also not one to have left her done at the time being, Mina looked over at Aace, also covered in mud as Aace hummed, digging mud from his eyes and entire body.

Aace being Aace only looked at her as she blinked, painted in mud like some sort of statue. Aace chuckled to himself more than her, tired but not yet done with things.

Aace sighed to herself, he hummed, exhausted more than he was beaten down… It was all too much for him now but it would not be… Not now… No, he had more cards to play and more time spent on playing.

There was just enough amusement written across his face as he thought of his next move… Of what to do in that situation, something which could have made it worse.

He held onto no such ideas, no real plans, something which could have amused him if it was not for the insanity he held onto now and for good reason.

Granted? To Mina? Defeat was not a thing; it was only a setback if it did something to her… Which it did not, it never did now, and for good reason.

She had been too unable to think of it all before she managed to relax and it was too fun for now, an idea that needed to be done.

Despite it being amusing for him? He relaxed, he relented himself for now… Even as it had brought him further and further pain, something about it all had been harder and harder to deal with.

Aace would laugh, he would chuckle and make himself deal with it all before it came crashing downwards at the ground. Something about it all would be harder and harder to deal with for now.

Aace would laugh if it was anything else… Something about it all had been eager to understand.

Aace sighed and then thought of every single second he had been able to relax, something about it all made them both chuckle as Mina sighed, mud all up and down her body. She felt as if she had gone to a giant spa… Granted, she had been torn in half by it all now, and for good reason.

Something about it all had been harder and harder to deal with for now. Aace had been eager to joke with her now but he was all too quiet now, all too interested in it all back and forth.

Aace had to deal with it all, had to relax now and for good… Something about it all was a powerful chaos that both adored despite the fact both found it odd in different ways, odd in ideas.

Mina flicked some mud over at Aace as he paused, thinking of what to say or even do now at the time being… She had a LOT more to deal with, a LOT more to understand at the time being… She had a lot more on her mind.

"So, you plan to deal with something in school or just keep playing science nerd?" Aace heard as he shrugged, looking down at the ground, something about it all had been harder to think about.

Aace hummed, shrugging to himself before Mina poked him playfully… Something about it all been harder and harder to relax upon now as she looked to the side.

She sighed, relaxing to herself, something about it all had been enough for them to break in half, something about it all had been making her smirk.

"I do not know to be honest. I do not know what to say or even deal with… Now? I just want to relax… And I do not know what else to do, Mi…" Aace stated as he sighed to himself.
