Chapter: 1
Training With Kakashi And Ibiki

Kakashi arrived at Naruto's home the next day as promised. He didn't bother knocking, he just walked in and started looking for Naruto. He didn't have to look long though as Naruto was already out of bed, doing more exercises. He stopped when the door closed, likely thinking too hard to notice when he walked in. He looked towards Kakashi with a serious expression. "What do you want? Who are you?"

Kakashi's eye wrinkled as though smiling. "My name is Kakashi Hatake. I'll be one of your senseis." Naruto narrowed his eyes in suspicion while standing up. "Your lying. Why would you help me?" Kakashi sighed. "I'll take you to the Hokage. He'll confirm that I'll be teaching you." Naruto grunted. "Fine." Naruto was already wearing his orange pants. He decided to put on his black T-shirt.
Hokage's Office

Hiruzen noticed several familiar chakra signatures coming towards his office. As they walked in he was not surprised but acted so. "Ah, Naruto. What brings you here?" Naruto didn't act like how he usually does. He actually bowed for once. "Hokage-sama, Kakashi-san says he'll be one of my senseis." Hiruzen took a deep huff of his pipe. "Well, he's right. He will be one of your new teachers." Naruto nodded, his serious expression unchanging. "Who will my other sensei be?" The Hokage answered. "Your other sensei will be Ibiki Morino, Head of Torture and Interrogation."

If Naruto was surprised, he didn't show it. He merely nodded his head. "Alright. I want to start training as soon as possible Hokage-sama." Hiruzen sighed. While it was a good thing he was starting to show a little respect, he didn't quite like how Naruto had started addressing him now. It reminded him that Naruto was no longer a boy. True, he was only twelve, but he had been forced to grow up after Iruka died.

Naruto decided to leave with Kakashi to start his training. "If you'll excuse me Hokage-sama, I want to start my training." Hiruzen nodded and excused them. "You may leave." With that they both left to start Naruto's training.
Training Ground 7

Kakashi had Naruto make ten clones to study some of the books his own sensei left him before he died. Ten more were working on more practical skills that he might use like tracking, escaping, just a little fuinjutsu that can replicate some of the more basic ninjutsu and genjutsu, knowledge on poisons and antidotes, and of course chakra control. Ten were working on his taijutsu skills while he himself worked on physical conditioning.

The process of dispelling his clones slowly and sorting through the knowledge also taught him mindfulness and awareness. He became sharper over the past three days as he grew in leaps and bounds. He was by far not the physically strongest or fastest, but what he lacked in physical power he made up for in intelligence and skill. His body was only slightly stronger than before they started his training but he was still quite dangerous now. Kakashi gauged his threat level to be at mid to high Genin.

After his third day with Kakashi, Naruto began his training with Ibiki. The man terrified Naruto. But he didn't seem to dislike Naruto. Through shadow clones, Ibiki got Naruto forty days worth of training in two days. He taught Naruto the art of tactical fear and intimidation, as well as the most painful parts of human anatomy. Naruto oddly enough, seemed quite eager to learn these things, though he claimed he didn't want to kill anyone.

Naruto had come up with the brilliant idea of combining the Academy style taijutsu with what he learned in physical torture by targeting the joints in such a way that it could break bones with only minimal force. It was brutal, it was painful, and that was exactly the point. The more painful he made the experience of fighting with him be, the scarier he became in the eyes of his opponent. It also almost didn't matter how much you trained when you fought against this type of taijutsu. Since it didn't target things like the head or torso, it targeted your bones and joints. You can exercise all you want it won't increase your bone's durability.

He didn't just invent the single most painful type of taijutsu to ever exist though. He learned how to utilize poisons and other ninja tools to almost frightening efficiency.
5 Days Later

Ibiki had talked to Naruto about the importance of both appearance and attitude. "If you want people to lose focus when fighting you, or even avoid it outright, you need to give them a symbol that you make synonymous with yourself and fear." Hence why Naruto was at a clothing shop right now. He was currently purchasing black pants with dark military grade plastic plating on the upper thighs. A black shirt under a leather black jacket that had the same plastic in the padding as in the pants. Black leather boots with hardened toes, and black cloth gloves with hardened knuckles.

He had the cloth on his headband changed to a black bandana to cover his bright hair and had eye holes cut into them with cloth fox-like ears on the top. The whole ensemble was topped off with a crude fox head symbol on the chest of the jacket. He got all kinds of stares from the populace as he walked down the streets towards the Academy, and not the usual glares. He couldn't blame them. He was dressed pretty oddly. However it was necessary, in order to make a name for himself he had to become a symbol. Something synonymous with fear itself.

The best way to do that would be to use what he was given since his birth. He entered the classroom. Even with all these other Genin in the room, without Iruka here it just felt...'empty.' Naruto found a secluded spot in the back. As he walked towards the back his heart sank as he heard what the other Genin were talking about once they got over his new look. "Did you hear about Iruka Sensei?", "I heard that Mizuki Sensei killed him the night after graduation.", "No way, they always seemed like such close friends."

Naruto leaned back in his seat with a calculating look on his face. He noticed Sasuke staring at him in the front. It was common knowledge in the Academy that Naruto and Iruka were quite close, much like a parental figure. He ignored him at first, but when he got up and walked past both Sakura and Ino arguing over the seat next to him, he payed him attention again. Sasuke stood in front of him, everyone was staring at them both, expecting a confrontation. Sakura and Ino were surprised that Sasuke even went over towards Naruto. Usually it was Naruto that initiated any fights between them.

Sasuke spoke after a few minutes of silence. "Naruto, I'm sorry." In Sasuke's eyes Naruto had been fully expecting pity, but all he got was sympathy. This absolutely shocked almost everyone there. Everyone except Naruto and Shikamaru. Sakura decided to bud in. "You don't have anything to apologize for Sasuke-kun!" Ino quickly agreed. "Yeah! You didn't do anything!" Naruto got sick of them. His voice sounded dark. "He's not sorry because of something he did. You wouldn't understand."

Sakura looked surprised that Naruto disagreed with her like that, then she got angry. "Shut up Naruto-baka, what do you know!" Sasuke got angry with her. "Sakura, he's right, you wouldn't understand." Sakura gaped. "But what wouldn't I understand?" Sasuke just looked at her with an angry expression. "Just be quiet, your annoying." Then he walked back to his seat, ignoring Sakura's hurt look.
1 Hour Later

Sakura was still sulking while a nameless Chunin was listing off the teams. After the team listings they had been told to get to know each other during their lunch. Naruto decided to eat his lunch alone. While he was outside eating something healthy for lunch for once. While he was eating, Hinata was extremely timidly walking up to him. She said very quietly. "N-Naruto-kun?" Naruto stopped eating and looked towards her silently. "A-are you...o-okay?" Naruto saw she was fidgeting. He answered darkly. "I'll be fine." She just nodded timidly and as she was walking away Naruto called out to her.

"Hinata...thank you." She nodded again and blushed with a slight smile on her face. Before he knew it they were back in the classroom, waiting for their senseis. Naruto and his team were the last to be picked up and Naruto was surprised to see that Kakashi was his new sensei, but didn't comment on it. "Meet me on the roof." Naruto calmly walked up the stairs.

When they all three got up to the roof, they started with introductions. Sakura's was mostly just her gushing over Sasuke and how cool he was. "What I like is...I mean who I like is...*Blushes*...And dreams for the future...*Squeals*." Kakashi seemed unimpressed. "As for something you hate?" Her demeanor instantly changed. "Naruto-baka!" Naruto seemed unfazed. "Alright, I guess your up Naruto." Naruto got a determined look, visible through his mask. "I like preparing for danger. I don't like wasting time. As for dreams for the future. To become something so terrifying that criminals and rogue ninja everywhere think twice before they kill or steal." Kakashi nodded while Sasuke and Sakura were both extremely surprised he hadn't said he wanted to be Hokage.

Kakashi pointed to Sasuke. "Your next." Sasuke leaned forward and rested his chin on his knuckles. "I dislike a lot of things, and I don't particularly like anything. What I have is not a dream, but an ambition. Because I will make it a reality. I'm going to restore my clan, and kill a certain man." Kakashi sighed. "Alright, meet at training ground seven tomorrow at six o'clock sharp. Oh, and don't eat breakfast tomorrow, you'll just throw up."

Chapter End

Author's Note: So just a quick note, Naruto is going to be OP later on in the story, but not in the traditional anime fashion. He'll be dealing with enemies that are WAY more experienced and have had decades more training than him so he's going to have to think smarter not harder. Basically he'll be OP in the same way Batman is OP.
