Story Start!
Moka was on cloud 9 at the moment.
3 months.
3 months had passed by in the blink of an eye for her, because she was having SO much fun with her only friend after school. She even had somebody to eat lunch with at school now, so her hellish school experience was now so tolerable. She no longer worried about the other students at all, and they didn't even register to her as existing.
She only had 2 more months until she would be going to Yokai Academy with Naruto.
Now, it was confirmed as well... because Naruto had gotten his letter of acceptance, showing that he had been fully accepted into the school. Everything in her life was looking up now.
'Lately, I actually look forward to school, and the walk to and from it are just... so nice.' Moka spun around. She was trying out new clothes that she had got, though Naruto didn't go with her when she got them. They spent a lot of time together, but they didn't spend ALL of their time together. Well, she was currently in his apartment, taking care of Kurama for a couple of days while Naruto went to Tokyo to meet with somebody.
He left her money for Kurama's food, and no she didn't use it to buy herself clothes. She used her own money, because her bra had been getting tighter, and so did some of her outfits. She had grown a little bit, not fatter... but she had grown. She also had to get herself her own Yokai academy uniform, but that would come in the mail when it was closer to her time to go to the school itself.
"Say Kurama... do you think I could confess to Naruto... before or after we start high school?" Moka picked up the fox. "Ow..." Moka frowned when Kurama nipped at her wrist, and she had to let go of him. He jumped into his bed, laid down, glared at her... before he laid his head to rest. Kurama didn't like her very much, but he only snapped at her when she tried to touch him too much in one day.
Moka rolled onto her back.
She wished she had somebody to talk to with about romance. She didn't feel like she needed to hurry, she didn't have any competition for him. She smiled and put her hand to her forehead. Her stomach growled at her.
Now she REALLY wished Naruto would get back.
His blood was the best thing.
-With Naruto-
Blood.
"YEAH! This is it!" Naruto laughed as he got punched in his bleeding nose, before he grabbed the grown man who punched him and yanked his arm. He responded by punching the man in the jaw hard enough to shake him. The man took a step back, before he collapsed with his eyes rolling up into his head.
He needed this.
After 3 months with Moka, he needed a good fight to get his blood pumping. After Moka gave him some chocolate for Valentines Day, he realized that he had been living a really sweet life. He had a great friend in Moka, but things were too good. He needed to get into a fight, and he desperately needed somebody to punch.
He needed somebody to punch some sense into him.
'... You can't ruin things with Moka... she's your only friend. She gave you chocolate because you're friends.' Naruto took a hit to the ribs. He wasn't dodging or blocking anything that wasn't a weapon. He had spent the last few days doing nothing but picking fights with gangs, because it was what he needed the most.
He didn't want to ruin what he had with Moka by confessing any feelings for her, not when there was a chance that she didn't view him the same way. She was extremely beautiful, kind, and more than anything she was his first friend.
"I got you punk! GET HIM!"
Naruto was put into a headlock, but he slammed his hips backwards and leaned forwards, tossing the man holding him over his body. He landed on his ally, and Naruto tackled the two of them into a wall.
"Yeah, I'm a punk! Kick my ass if you can!" Naruto took a hit to the face for that comment, and knocked the man onto his ass with a chin punch. He took a punch and kick from two different people at the same time. He grabbed the leg of the man who kicked him, kicked his other leg, before he swung him around like a bat and hit the man who punched him. "I got some issues to work through, so you guys get to help me out." Naruto raised his fists up with his grin widening.
He saw a punch to his face coming, and ate it head on, before he returned fire.
Moka was like the perfect girl, and he honestly felt like that she had been willing to be friends with him for 3 months now. He was an idiot to be developing feelings for her.
'It's only when I'm fighting, do I think clearly... I think I'm getting feelings for her. I have so much fun with her.' Naruto grabbed a man's head and pushed him into another man, before he pinned them both to a wall. He punched the man in the face, and the back of his head hit the other man's face.
Naruto stepped back from a punch to the chin.
He spat out a little blood.
"... For sure... I need to get stronger for her." Naruto muttered to himself.
He broke the face of the man who made him bleed the next second.
Moka couldn't fight, as strong as she was, she lacked any killer instinct or will to fight. If they were going to a school for monsters, then he had 2 months to get stronger so that he could protect her. Whatever his feelings were, they wouldn't matter if he couldn't do anything to protect her when it counted.
She mattered too much to him to lose.
-With Moka-
He mattered too much to her to lose.
"That's right. He's my first friend, he's the guy I like. I have so much fun with him, and he just gets me. He understands how lonely I was... and he made it better." Moka jumped to her feet with a shine to her eyes. She wanted to do everything in her power to make him happy, in return for all of the happiness that he was giving her.
Once they got to Yokai Academy, she would wait for the perfect moment, and she would confess her feelings to him.
Just friendship wasn't enough for her, she wanted more than that with him.
-With Naruto-
Her friendship was all he needed, it was more than enough for him to risk going to a school for monsters.
She filled a hole in him that he didn't even know he had, so of course he was going to abandon his dream of conquering Japan. He only wanted to do that so he would have the adoration of the nation. His goal was to use that to fill himself with the love of everything, but now that he had an actual friend, she was more important to him than that.
She was the first person who truly saw him as Uzumaki Naruto and not just some foreigner looking kid, with the face of a demon fox.
She was his friend.
She rescued him from the hell that he had lived his entire life, where he knew nothing but loneliness and ridicule.
"Thanks... you guys helped clear my mind." Naruto had broken a sweat, and blood dripped from his face and his grin. He didn't have anyone else to fight, and he had his mind made up now. Well, he was still conflicted on how he felt. "Even now... she's always in my thoughts." Naruto couldn't believe how even when his mind was clear, she was still there.
Still, when he was around Moka, he didn't always think straight, so it was nice to get away from her for a bit so that he could clear his head.
-With Moka-
Still, as nice as it was to have time to think about her feelings, it was only when Naruto was away did she really just how much joy he brought her life just by being there. She felt restless, and couldn't think as straight when he was gone. She was worried that he was getting into a fight somewhere, or that he had gotten hurt for something dumb.
What was more, when he was gone, she felt lonely.
At least in his apartment, she could get his scent... and it put her mind a little more at ease to just have a little part of him nearby.
"When you're not here, all I can think about... is you. Even when I try and take my mind off of you, you're still there... and I want you to stay here, with me." Moka placed her hands over her heart, and she smiled at her future. She was going to be going to school with Naruto for 3 years of high school soon. She was going to confess to him once the perfect chance arrived. She was getting nervous and excited just thinking about it.
She could hardly wait for her monster school life!
