"Wait...arranged marriage?" He gasped.

Hanoashi shuffled nervously. "Yeah...I was surprised when Shiho broached Father about it, but...well...you know how I always wanted to get married and well...I've kinda had a crush on both you and Yukaro. But...you were returning to the Kuromorimine land school and I didn't want to complicate things...so I didn't tell you how I felt about you back then..."

"But...why would mother do this?" Miho asked, clearly bewildered.

"Miho...Shiho's really worried about you, that's why she wanted you to attend Ooarai, so that you could get away from Sensado." She paused before continuing, "And...she doesn't want to to live alone anymore, so she opted for you to get married and chose me to be your wife. And with the resurgence in arranged marriage legality due to the massive loss of life during the pandemic...we don't have much of a choice in the manner."

He gazed at her. "I'm...I wont say no to this...not that I could. But I wish I had been told about this."

"Shiho warned you in the letter...but I get we're you're coming from. Father had already signed the paperwork before he even told me about it." Hanoashi sighed.

"But...what about your feelings for Yukaro?" Miho asked gently.

"He...died," Hanoashi gazed down. "Killed by the new plague."

"I'm sorry," Miho croaked.

The two stood in silence, Hanoashi clearly having a look of sorrow across her face where as Miho was trying to digest the information.

"Miho...I...uh..." Hanoashi began, but paused, unable to speak.

"What's wrong?" Miho asked.

"I...need to go get my things at the hotel. You were supposed to meet me at the airport yesterday morning, but when you never showed up...I...uh...kinda checked in."

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" Miho gasped, bowing apologetically.

Hanoashi simply patted him on the head. "It's okay, I forgive you, but just remember that I'm your wife now, okay? You need to be more responsible."

He rose and laughed nervously. "You know I don't do well with responsibility..."

"You don't, and that's why Shiho chose me of all the girls she could have for your wife. Now...we really need to go and get my stuff, and then I need to go shopping."

"How...much shopping do we need to do?" Miho asked nervously as they walked out the door.

"Well...do you mind your wife sleeping in her undies?" Hanoashi asked direly.

"Eh...why do I feel like I'm playing with fire?" Miho chuckled nervously.

"Well, my nickname is Blaze...so think very carefully..." Hanoashi chided slyly.

"Er...let's get you a nightgown or something..."

Wrong answer!" Hanoashi laughed. "I like sleeping in my undies!" She added snarkily as she held her nose up high for a bit, then turned to Miho. "And you're going to pick them out for me."

"Wait...I'm going underwear shopping with you?" Miho yelled.

"Yep!" Hanoashi smirked. "Consider it punishment for leaving me out to dry last night."

"Didn't I apologize for that?" Miho groaned.

"And I forgive you, but you're still going undie shopping with me," Hanoashi laughed. "Anyways, I kinda figure that since we'll be sleeping together and I insist on sleeping in my own undies, I'd better sleep in something that you'd like."

"But...what...?" Miho gasped. "I can't choose my underwear for my best friend!" He gasped.

"You can and you will, not to mention that your best friend is your wife now!" Hanoashi laughed. "Now come, let's get this over with. Last thing I need is to be out after curfew. It might not go on my permanent record or anything, but spending a night in a jail cell is the last thing that I need."

Miho sighed and followed his wife, somewhat of a silence overcoming them. He was still stunned that his mother married him off to a childhood friend, but at the same time it was beginning to make more and more sense. Every since that accident back at the middle school, Shiho had been very worried about him, on top of the pandemic locking everyone in their homes starting two years before only made things worse. And the Katoni were quite renowned in Nishmari for being ultra responsible, something Miho struggled with. So paring him up with Hanoashi, a woman who is renowned for being very responsible, coming from an ultra responsible family, was a fairly smart thing to do.

As they passed by some cows surrounded by a barbed wire fence, he shifted close to her in aversion. She simply smiled at him reassuringly and took his hand comfortingly, no teasing or anything. She understood why he was so adverse to barbed wire fences, and Miho was thankful that she wasn't one to tease him about it, unlike Erika and Koume did back at Kuromorimine. Though Koume did apologize once she discovered why he was so wary of the everyday country object, unlike Erika, who just constantly told him "To grow the fuck up!" Direct quote by the way.

"So, I've been meaning to ask, how's Maho doing?" Hanoashi asked quietly.

"Onichan's doing fairly good, though taking over commander-ship of Kuromorimine had been...hard on her. It's quite difficult going from commanding a co-ed team to an all girl's team."

"Even though Kuromorimine's male and female teams were still separate in the middle school right?"

"There's a lot of animosity between the boys and girls, with the boys hating having to give up the sport they loved, and the girls mostly acting smug about it." Miho sighed. "So Sis has a lot on her plate." Doesn't help that mother is thinking about playing triple duty and the girls don't want to give up anything but the worst of their team for the potential co-ed group."

"That's pretty tough, though we've never really had that kind of problems in the other co-ed league schools," Hanoashi shrugged. "Worst we had was one guy getting a girl pregnant, and that happened back in like ninety eight...way before my time in the sport."

"That's one thing that I like about the co-ed league schools, you all treat each other as siblings, not your next potential date." Miho mused.

Hanoashi laughed. "It is rather nice, and I hope that this school will be similar at the end of the day. Although something tells me we might have some issues."

"I'm just hoping that Yukari chick will leave us alone..." Miho sighed trailing off.

"Yeah...she sounded really creepy back there during the presentations," Hanoashi growled.

"But didn't you like her brother back at Nishmari?" Miho gasped, surprised to hear his normally polite wife growl like that.

"He didn't go, Oh, I hope Hanoashi falls at my feet!" she mocked viciously. "And besides, what the heck was up with that Maus awful presentation. Men will fall at your feet, you'll become a better wife, a better mother," she ranted.

Opps...guess I set her off on a tangent... Miho grumbled. I've only ever seen her go off on a tangent twice, once when a crew nearly went off a bridge in their tank, and the other time when...well...

"Hey Miho!"

Oh shit, it's her! Miho gasped, trying to run from the Floof girl, but Hanoashi jerked him back.

"Oh...wait...you're already dating..." Yukari broke off when she noticed that he was holding Hanoashi's hand.

"Actually, about me and Miho... yeah...my father gave me onto him as a wife in an arranged marriage, Sorry about that..." Hanoashi laughed nervously.

"Then break it off!" Yukari shouted.

Miho sighed. "Look, Yukari...I like Hanoashi...and...I don't exactly get to say no to my mother on these kinds of things." Better her than you creep! He added silently.

"But...but you're a Nishisumi! You can do anything, right?" Yukari whispered, taking a step back, clearly devastated at the rebuttal.

Miho shook his head. "The world doesn't work like that. I can't do everything. Mother cannot do anything. The reason why she paired me with Hanoashi was because...well..."

"I don't want to hear it!" Yukari shouted, before taking off, tears in her eyes.

Sighing deeply, Hanoashi sagged. "Seriously..." She muttered, before sighing deeply. "Anyway, let's get to shopping..."

Following him into the store, he could tell that she was in a sorry state after that display, and while a small part of him felt pity for Yukari's plight, every time he thought of the brunet, bile crawled up his throat. We've never met before...how can she just come up to ask me out like that! Sure...If I wasn't married to Blaze... and maybe if Yukari had asked to be just friends first it may have eventually turned into a romantic relationship, but...not after that display! He let out a visible shudder.

"Alright, let's start here," Hanoashi smirked.

"Wait..." Miho asked, stunned as he noticed she had lead him to the underwear isle.

Hanoashi smirked. "Yes, remember? Pick out anything you like!"

Miho, for his part, had never really cared much about woman's underwear. Sure, he had a sister, but he'd never dream of going on a panty raid on her room. In fact, none of the boys at the Kuromorimine league had the guts to try it, but the son of the instructor especially...and panty raid aside, he never paid much attention to what underwear his sister wore.

What he did pay attention to was the lustful looks many boys gave Maho when she went to the beach. The men whom she she didn't catch and glare at he'd glare at them for her, and Maho really appreciated him looking out for her even though she was his big sister and was supposed to be looking out for him. Dispute his rather somewhat shy and calm demeanor, Miho had a rather nasty Nishisumi glare, surprisingly enough.

"Or, I could sleep naked if you want," Hanoashi whispered teasingly.

The hairs on Miho's back stood up when he heard that. He had no idea if she'd actually do that, but given the fact that his wife was not only opting to sleep in underwear but making him choose what she'd wear, her threat may very well be real.

He sighed and turned to gaze at the underwear, not too sure what he should pick. Something told him that she'd glare at him ruefully if he picked up something basic, but if he picked up something risque, she might actually slap him. Women could be vicious when offended, as he learned from personal experience, and it didn't help that they could be very cryptic at times.

"Take your time," Hanoashi smirked. "Whatever you pick will be what I wear most every night, so pick wisely."

He shuddered, before his eyes fell on a green lace bra with a matching underwear set. "Hm..." He gazed at her, pointing nervously at it, preparing for a shout or slap.

Instead, she nodded and picked up three of her size. "Good choice," she smiled gently, petting his head a bit. "Green always go nicely with us gingers, so your color pallet choice is impeccable."

"Really?" Miho gasped, surprised. "I just thought it'd look good on you. And why choose three of them?"

Hanoashi shrugged. "Like I said, every night, unless there's something else you'd like to see me in," she added with a smirk.

Unsure, Miho stared at her, uncertain of weather or not she was being genuine.

"Well...what else?" She snapped jokingly. "Variety is the spice of life, and I can't just have one set, especially since I'm married to a Nishisumi." She paused, before continuing sourly. "No seriously, do you have any idea just how much money your mother gifted both me and Father as part of this marriage arrangement?"

"I have an idea..." Miho muttered, knowing full well that it was a lot. The Nishisumi were not by any means the richest family in Japan, but they were extremely wealthy and powerful. The Matsumino family far outpaced them in riches, but in terms of power they were both relatively equal, though if the two families were to ever come into a fight, the Nishisumi would lose handedly. Mostly due to the nation preferring to support a family who is renowned for electric and medical innovations than a family who's fame to claim was an ancient horse archery school who suddenly shifted it's focus to Sensado about ninety years ago.

Especially now given that the Matsumino were the one who found the cure for the new plague, thus causing them to become the most powerful family in Japan at the moment. Even more powerful than the Imperial family so to speak, and there was speculation that the royal family is considering marrying one of their daughters into the Matsumino family. As blind as the rumor was, it nonetheless existed.

In fact Hanoashi's mother, Yu, was a Matsumino, but her family disowned her due to them not liking the idea of Yu marrying into a poorer family such as the Katoni. Guys could marry who they wanted, but Matsumino women, heavens no! Thankfully, being a Katoni, Hanoashi could have married whom she wanted, in theory of course. He highly doubted that Drake would have let her marry into the Yakuza or something akin to that.

"Freaking millionaires," Hanoashi muttered. "How the Maus am I supposed to find enjoyment in receiving a paycheck for my work with all of this Maus Damned money to my name," she hissed.

Miho sighed as his gaze crossed an odd set. I've never seen this before...he mused.

"Maid underwear..." Hanoashi gazed up at it, an odd look on her face, like she was experiencing something similar to a memory. "It's sort of a night play thing."

"If it's a night play..." Miho waled off, heading into the swimsuit area.

"Miho, this isn't underwear..." Hanoashi mused.

He turned around, gasping when she saw that she had picked up the maid underwear. "Hanoashi...I wasn't going to pick that..."

"Wow! Rude!" Hanoashi gasped, placing her fist into her hip indignantly. "I can pick underwear I like as well, you know!" she hissed, before busting out into laughter.

He just stood there, stunned. Okay...is she offended or just joking? Knowing her it could very well be both.

"Anyways, I was going to have you help me pick out all of the clothing I'd need regardless, so I'm guessing this is the next stop...but first I'll need to get a few more underwear sets. You go ahead and pick something for me, okay?" she smirked, before heading to the underwear section."

Shuddering, he gazed around, his eyes falling on a black lace one peace set. I know she prefers one piece sets given the trips Nishmari took to the beach, not that she ever did much...

"Miho, what are you doing here in the woman's section?" A feminine voice asked, interrupting his thoughts.

Turning around, he gasped when he saw a familiar black haired girl gazing at him. "Hana?" He gasped.

"That doesn't exactly answer my question Miho," Hana gazed at him, her blue eyes equally curious as well as judgmentally.

"Well...I...uh..."

"Oh, Hey Hana!" Hanoashi smiled as she rounded the bend, her shopping cart containing probably around fourteen sets of undies, mostly more of the green lace set that he had picked out for her. "Miho, have you found me a swimsuit yet?"

"Wait...why are you choosing a swimsuit for her?" Hana asked, confused, and perhaps a tad concerned.

"You try being married to her," Miho muttered, pointing to the black swimsuit.

Hanoashi walked over and took it, examining it critically. "Seriously, what is it with you and lace?" she muttered, before laughing. "But I do really like it," she added with a smile.

"Er...wait...you never told us that you were married! When did this happen?" Hana gasped, clearly in surprise.

"Er...Father and Mother-in-law signed the paperwork about two weeks ago...arranged marriage if you will. Poor Miho only found out about it when I forced him to read that letter about an hour ago," Hanoashi shrugged.

"Wait, an arranged marriage! I'm so jealous!" a third girl gasped in surprise.

"Don't be," Hanoashi blushed. "It worked out with Miho and I because we both know each other and to be frank I like him." She paused before sighing. "Saori, seriously, don't go about asking your parents for one, you don't know for sure who you'll be put up with. Sure, he might be very nice and caring like Miho, but he might be a total jerk, or even abusive. And once the paper is signed, you can't back out without going through high hell these days."

Hana nodded in agreement. "Shinzaburo, dispute being very supportive of the prospect of me garnering a relationship, refused every single one of the families who offered me an arranged marriage, stating that he didn't want that kind of life for me."

"Is...he your father?" Hanoashi asked politely.

No...he's kinda my guardian, I...lost my mother to the plague and my father died during an airforce accident when I was nine," Hana sighed.

"Oh...I'm sorry to hear that," Hanoashi whispered. "I...lost my beloved cousin to the plague, so..."

Miho gingerly took her hand in comfort. He knew just how close Hanoashi and Rikona were, and he knew that it must still be affecting her badly. Aside from her Aunt Shelia and her own mother, Yu, Rikona was the only Matsumino who gave a crap about Hanoashi.

The four just stood there, remembering those whom they lost, or rather Hana and Hanoashi began to silently reflect on their losses. Miho hadn't lost anyone, though he knew that his friend Erika had lost her older sister, and it had affected her badly. Sure, Erika had always been a bit of a jerk at times, but the loss of her sister had only made it worse.

Especially since she had died two days before the Matsumino had found the cure for the plague. It was unfair that anyone loose family to the plague, but to lose someone right when the cure was found was extra cruel in Miho's mind. As prickly as Erika had been, Miho still considered her somewhat of a friend.

"Anyways, we'd better leave you to your shopping," Saori waved, Hana following soon afterwards.

"Well...what was slightly embarrassing," Miho sighed.

"Relax, these things happen," Hanoashi smirked. "Now, shall we continue? You've got more clothes to pick out for me!"

Miho sighed, already feeling tired out. Sure, he was glad that it was Hanoashi and not some random girl from a rich family that Shiho had paired him with, but he could already tell that she was probably going to wear him out.

Arriving back at the house for the fourth time this evening, Miho was bone tired. He glanced at Hanoashi, noticing that she seemed tired as well.

"Thanks for helping me with the shopping, Miho," Hanoashi smiled, taking his hand gently.

He let out a sigh. "No problem...but are we going to have to do this again?"

Hanoashi let out a quiet sigh in response. "As much as I'd like to get a rise out of you by jokingly saying yes, every week now that I'm rich, I'm way too tired to make a joke. Let's...just get ready for bed, we've got school tomorrow."

"Right, Would you like to take a shower first?" Miho asked hesitantly.

Hanoashi shook her head. "No...too...tired...you are too."

"Right..." Miho let out a rather loud yawn. "I could fall on my back now..."

"Hush, last thing I need is to be next to you in the er because you busted your head due to fainting from exhaustion." Hanoashi chided. "Let's...just get to bed."

Following her up to the bedroom, Miho's tired eyes failed to comprehend her undressing as he crawled into bed, and feel asleep instantly.

Rain fell as her Tiger H-1 crawled along the cliff, the Panzer III acting as a sort of shield. Doubt about her plan echoed throughout her head constantly, but as the daughter of a Nishisumi, and the Vice Heiress of Kuromorimine on top of being the acting team caption for this match, Miho could not bring herself to stop the advance.

All of a sudden, without warning, the Panzer III begun to slip, and Miho's amber eyes widened, a gasp erupting from her as the tank began to slide off the cliff. Quick as a flash, Miho jumped up, ignoring the cold rain as she rushed toward the bank, jumping into the freezing lake water...

Waking up with a flash, Miho shot up, gasping as he erupted into a panic. "That was a new one..." he mused as his breath began to calm.

"Nightmare?" a gentle, yet quiet feminine voice asked.

Gasping, Miho turned to his left, momentarily surprised to see his childhood friend beside him. Oh...right...me and Hanoashi are married now... he remembered.

For the first time he realized that she was indeed in her underwear, a cream colored bra, which caused him to blush briefly as he had never seen her like this.

She blushed in response, and the two stood silent for a brief moment. However, before Miho could garner the courage to speak, he found himself in her gentle embrace. "It's okay Miho, I'm here for you," she whispered gently."

He stood still momentarily, surprised, but he wrapped his arms around her, surprised at how soft her skin was. "Thank you," he whispered, beginning to calm down.

The two held this hug if you will for a few moments, before letting go, and lying back down, as it was still quite late.

As Miho laid down, he noticed Hanoashi gazing at him, both concern and gentle love in her dark green eyes. "Miho, you mention a new one when you woke up. Would you like to talk about it?"

Sighing, Miho turned on his side, still slightly struggling with the sight of her in his bed much less in her undies, but he let out a quiet smile as he realized that he finally had someone whom he felt he could be honest with. "The core of the nightmare is the same, a Kuromorimine Panzer finds itself in mortal danger because of my order. Yet...dispute that consistency, the situation is always different."

"Different how?" she asked gently.

Miho gulped. "Well...one time I dreamed that I was Maho...and I had been arrested due to negligence in that dream. Another time it was you and the crew we had in Nishmari who were involved in the accident, and you all died."

"And this time?" she whispered, her eyes growing wide in shock.

"Tonight's dream...I was a girl...and yet in a similar body to my current one, same hair style and such. Quite shorter though. Anyways, I was commanding the Kuromrorimine high school team during the finals as Maho was sick with the flu. At the time of disaster, I was following a Panzer III from the seat of my Tiger H-1 along the edge of a cliff, harsh rain crashing down. A stupid decision I know, given how slippery rocks and dirt can become for Panzers during rain."

"And the tanks fell off the cliff?" Hanoashi guessed.

"Just the Panzer III." Miho noted. "Anyways, when I saw the Panzer three slip off the cliff and fall into the lake below, I jumped out of my own tank, and woke up as soon as I jumped into the lake."

"Hm..." She paused thinking. "It seems like you're still struggling with that mistake you made last year, and your psyche is causing you to have nightmares in response."

"So...what exactly do you know about it," Miho gazed down. "The actual incident I mean?"

"Shiho informed me about the situation and the issues that you are having. And you need to stop beating yourself up over that," Hanoashi began, her voice gentle, yet serious. "Sure, those four might have died, but they didn't, and they have moved on. You need to move on too."

"But..." Miho began, but Hanoashi just shushed him.

"You can't take back your decision, Miho. But you can move on from it. It'll take time, obviously, but eventually you'll be able to shed yourself from this guilt and these nightmares you've been having." She then gave him a quiet smile. "And I'll always be right here by your side."

Miho let out a quiet smile. "Thank you," He whispered.

Morning light flooded through the window, causing the two newlyweds to shoot out of bed. "We've oversleep!" Hanoashi gasped.

"Yeah...it's 7:45 Am..." Miho paused, his nose wrinkling. "I...uh...

Hanoashi let out a quiet sniff, recoiling slightly. "Yeah...let's double team it," she grimaced intrepidly.

"You sure?" Miho asked.

Hanoashi shrugged. "Well...we can't both go to school smiling like BO, and it's not fair for only one of us to take a shower."

Miho sighed, following her into the shower, not too sure how this was going to work. He had never seen a naked girl before, as porn was never of interest to him. And while he had an idea of what a girl looked like thanks to the health classes he had to take during the make-up year, he was completely unprepared for what he was seeing as Hanoashi undressed, her face bleat red in embarrassment. His face likewise turned red.

As it turned out though, the shower was not large enough for the both of them, so they ended up taking turns showering anyways, though they kept the showers quick. A small wetting of the hair followed by a quick soaping and rinsing. Not ideal, but it'd work for this one time.

Now the two found themselves rushing over to the school, their uniforms barely appropriate as they did not want to get a mark on their record. As they flew down the streets, they met a girl staggering in the streets.

"Painful...all life is...painful," said girl moaned as she wobbled.

"Is she drunk?" Hanoashi whispered, taking the time to strengthen her uniform while she had paused to stare at the sight.

"No...we should help her though," Miho whispered back.

Hanoashi snorted and walked to the side of the girl, steadying her. "All this rush to avoid a tarty and I'm going to get one anyways," she huffed, clearly not happy about receiving a demerit.

"Miss Reize, this is the second time in a row that you're late!"

"Why does morning have to come..." This Reize chick moaned.

"I'm only late because I overslept and found this stumbler walking in and out of the street. It won't happen again," Hanoashi muttered, his voice clearly angry.

"Oh, did you and Miho have a coupling last night?" The hall monitor snorted.

"No...I had to go shopping and...well...we kinda overexerted ourselves." Hanoashi glared at her, clearly not happy at the not so subtle insinuation that they'd have sex that quickly. They could, as Ooarai had programs to help those who got pregnant in the light of having a ton of young adults joining to finally complete high school after three years of not being able too, two of them due to the pandemic and a third one being a catch-up year.

"Well...whatever, I'll give you both a pass considering you were helping a student in distress, but next time it'll be a demerit." The guard noted. "Anyways, the student council president wants to meet with you two, and the headmaster wanted you to have this note."

Hanoashi took the note, her eyes widening as she saw it's contents. "Understood," she whispered.

"Something wrong Blaze?" Miho asked, growing concerned at her action.

"The headmaster is assuming that you're going to join, does everyone in this school have no tact!" She hissed, shoving the letter in his hand before walking off, a look of anger in his eyes.

"Blaze, leave it, it's fine." Miho ran up to her, taking hold of her hand to calm her down.

Her green eyes stared into his, softening a bit. "I just don't like people trying to force others into doing things like this and assuming you'll just do them."

He let out a quite hum of agreement. "But that's just the way Japan works. Besides, neither of us have qualms with our arranged marriage, even though it was done without our knowledge. How is this different?"

"Miho...you're not having nightmares about marriage," Hanoashi laughed. "But I guess I can see your point. Anyways, the school dictators are waiting for us."

"They're not that bad, they just have to keep track of the entire ship is all." A girl joined up with them. "Anyways, my name is Ayase Takano. Anzu wanted me to escort you to their location."

Hanoashi nodded curtly. "They sound that bad to me." she muttered as she followed the black haired girl, leaving Miho to simply sigh and follow.

As they walked, surprisingly to the student president, Hanoashi held her gaze towed the pig-tailed midget. "In the future I expect you and the headmaster to make sure that we're all on the same page before assuming we're going to take leadership of the team like that," she growled sternly.

"Hey, you don't get to talk to the student council president like that!" The monocle girl yelled.

"And you don't get to boss a Nishisumi of all things around like that!" Hanoashi countered viciously, glaring at the black haired girl with pure hatred worthy of being called the Nishisumi glare.

Monocle girl tried to return with a glare, but the ginger's superior glare caused her to shrink back.

"And even more to the point, you don't get to speak to my husband in such a manner!" Hanoashi hissed.

"Blaze...drop it, they seem to get the point," Miho whispered.

"Yeah... Yuzu, Momo-chan, I think we did get off of the wrong foot," Anzu admitted before sighing. "Blaze...Miho san...would you do the honor of being our vice commander and team commander respectively?" she asked politely.

Hanoashi held her gaze evenly. "No."

"What do you mean no!" Momo shouted.

"I'm joining as team commander, and Miho's not joining even as a common commander unless he feels fully comfortable even operating in a tank. He's not in any condition to just jump in after last year," Hanoashi noted.

"What accident?" Anzu asked, stunned.

"Never mind that," Miho noted. "Anyways, I'd rather join as just a team commander, though if you really need me I suppose I could take vice commander spot."

"But you're a Nishisumi!" Anzu gasped. "Not to discredit her, but Hanoashi's..."

She's my wife and is just as much of a Nishisiumi as I am, even more so when it comes to Sensado!" Miho growled, giving Anzu a Nishisumi glare of his own. "And you will respect her as such, understood?"

Anzu shrank. "Un...understood," she whispered, gazing down. "Sorry, it's just that we nearly lost our school, the only reason why we're pressuring you so hard is because our long term future is uncertain and we really want to make a good impression when it comes to Sensado."

"Schools are responsible for their own success," Hanoashi huffed. "But since you were so kind as to give me a scholarship, fine, I'll help you with the Sensado course." However she then leaned over. "But Miho's still sticking to vice commander, he's in no shape to handle team responsibility after last year."

"Anyways, what did you need us for today anyways?" Miho asked, flashing Hanoashi a grateful look. She was right, he currently was in no shape to lead this team giving how little time had passed since the accident back at Kuromorimine, especially given his nightmares.

"Well..." Anzu began... "We need you to help us with the moving the tanks. We just received them this morning, and well...we don't have anyone to help us with the tanks."

"Right..." Hanoashi noted. "Lead the way then."

It took them a few minutes to drive over to the tank fields, though it didn't help that Hanoashi had to ride in Miho laps. Hanoashi, to her credit, loved the idea, and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. Miho on the other hand, was fearful he might accidentally ignite a light-saber metaphorically speaking.

"So, you must be the vice commander, right?" A woman in a JSDF uniform noted as she jumped out of her Type 10 tank.

"Actually, She's the team commander, I'd prefer to go trail and follow," Miho corrected.

Ami looked like she was about to argue when a familiar head popped out of the tank. "Don't even think about it Ami."

"But Instructor Nishisumi," Ami whinnied, clearly wanting to argue, but paused when Shiho gave her a rather stern glare.

"Hanoashi has more experience in the Co-ed leagues, with four years to her name as apposed to Miho's one and a half. And she may be my daughter in law, but she is still my daughter, and as such you will respect her as team commander. Understood?"

"Understood instructor." Ami sighed.

"Anyways, I'll meet you at the hangers," Shiho announced as she drove off.

For the first time Miho got a good look at the tank. "As expected, three T-50 light tanks, the coed leagues always max out on those." He mused.

"Three heavy tanks, the Tiger H-1,a 17 pounder Centurion, and the IS2." Hanoashi smirked. "We'll be able to dish out some real wreckage with those."

"But that type 89 is...off," Miho walked up to the medium tank.

"It can still do some damage with the proper rounds, at least when it comes to tankeets and some light tanks." Hanoashi mused. She then turned to Ami. "How exactly are we going to decide who gets what tank?"

"Lottery," Ami smiled. "Kinda figured that would be the best way to decide fairly."

Hanoashi shrugged. "Fair point. Miho and I could hog up the heaves along with the more experienced crews. Besides, I have no real experience in anything with more than a 50 mm gun and 60 mm armor."

"Same," Miho raised his hand. "I commanded a T-50 at Nishmari, and then a Panzer III J at Kuromorimine when we started up our male team last year."

"Yeah, I've been meaning to ask about a few things," Ami began, thus causing Hanoashi to begin an entire lecture about the ends and outs of the High school league.

"Ah, so that's why the headmaster sold the Char and modified the Lee to a Ram!" Ami exclaimed after Hanoashi had explained about the armor and gun ranking cap.

Miho sighed, knowing that even as just the Vice commander that he was in for a long journey. Sure, it would be her making the tough decisions, but she'd be relying on him for advice as well as taking over in case she was ever knocked out during a match or had to take a break from the sport due to injury or exhaustion.
