Mulan had just been thanked by the Emperor when all of a sudden there was a yell of rage, it was Shan Yu, he was burnt and injured but was alive, he yelled out how he wouldn't be stopped, even if he had to make a patch with demons to do it he would kill them all, thats when the sky darkened and lightning filled the sky, a mass of shadows swarmed around Shan and changed him, he became larger, claws for hands and feet, large wings grew from his back and feathers covered most of his body with said body becoming as black as night, with a roar he began tearing through the castle causing all to flee.
Yao, Ling and Chien Po got the Emperor to safety while Mulan and Li Shang did what they could to hold Shan at bay, but it was for not, he was now too strong with the powers of darkness, Li was hit to the side while Mulan was grabbed and squeezed, Mushu and Cri-Kee tried to help but where not strong enough, with a toss Mulan landed harshly on the ground, Mushu and Cri-Kee rushed to her side, they tried to get her to run but she refused even with her injuries, none the less she thanked them both for helping her see she could be a warrior, as she walked towards her foe he went to punch her with his giant fist, Mushu couldn't take it and without a thought both he and the cricket rushed to Mulan, as they and the fist came to her their was a flash of golden light that blinded all.
when the light faded their stood Mulan, but no longer she injured, she stood tall with a red and golden armour designed like a dragon and a purple katana upon her waist, she then hears Mushu in her head, saying that he and Cri-Kee's souls had responded to her own and formed her current armour and weapon by a burst of inner magic from the three, similar to Shan's own dark transformation, after this said villain tried to strike Mulan again but now with her enhanced abilities from the armour she jump and speed around him, dodging and blocking his attacks before she drew her blade as he also created a sword from shadow, the two struck with all their might.
a moment passed before Shan and his shadows faded away, saying that it was a good fight, with that Shan Yu was gone for good, Mulan sheaved her blade before said weapon and armour disappeared, returning to Mushu and Cri-Kee, with Mulan collapsing. she later wakes up in a medical tent healed, after the Emperor thanked her again and gave her his amulet she left for home, welcomed back by her family, with Li showing up soon after to see her.
