Reina was suspended in a dark, damp space. She felt her body enveloped in a mass of tar as she stirred from her slumber. Reina watched as her black cradle filled with light as she emerged forward. Now exposed to the chill of night, Reina looked ahead to see nothing but rubble. Facing the moon, was a gargantuan plant.

Reina stirred and squinted her eyes as the light from above her woke her up. She went to rub her eyes but stopped when she heard a dull, metallic rattle. Reina examined her surroundings and noticed she was in a confinement chamber, shackled to a bed with written seals on every part of her body and all around the room. Her head throbbed as she began to struggle in her restraints. Her breathing quickened as a wave of anxiety overcame her. Reina knew she had done something wrong and wanted to atone immediately. She panted and rested her head back down on the pillow.

Reina took in a deep breath and shrieked. "HASHIRAMAAAAAA!" She groaned as her parched throat strained to work. She was dizzy, dehydrated, and famished. Every inch of her body ached. She had no idea how long she had been down, but she wasn't planning on staying there. "Pleeeeease! Somebody! Get me out!" Reina tugged at her restraints. "TOBIRAMA!" She gritted her teeth as she held back her tears. "Madara…" She whimpered. Reina shook her head, refusing to think of him in a time of need. "SOMEBODY HELP!" She called before having a coughing fit. Reina looked at the elaborate seal written on her body and knew if she used chakra to break her restraints she would be gravely injured.

Just then, a creak came from a short distance away, followed by the slam of a heavy, metal door. Multiple footsteps were heard as they made their way outside her chamber. Hashirama and Tobirama stood on the other side of the metal bars and watched their sister as she struggled. Tobirama pulled a set of keys out of his ninja pouch and placed one in the door lock. He made a series of hand signs, causing the key to twist on its own, unlocking the door.

Tobirama pushed the cell door open and the two brothers walked over to Reina's bedside. Tobirama looked down at his disheveled sibling. "Reina… you're finally awake."

Hashirama grinned. "Hey, Reina."

Reina looked up at him with dismay. "Hashirama, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let myself get out of control."

"No, Reina…" Hashirama shook his head. "We are sorry for not being truthful to you from the start… well, fully truthful." He sighed. "We do think Madara would be the best choice for you, but we know that you aren't as discontent about that. It's the fact that you haven't been able to live your life freely… And you thought you had the chance to by living here in the Hidden Leaf… And we took that away from you." Hashirama gave a bittersweet smile. "For that, we are truly sorry."

Reina nodded. "I appreciate your apology." She sighed. "However, I did overreact and it is my duty to serve the Senju clan and this village. I would gladly go through with this marriage. After all, Madara and I get along just fine. How bad can it be?"

The brothers looked at each other with a smile. Tobirama cleared his throat. "Reina, you are truly beyond your years. Let's get you out of these chains." Tobirama unlocked each cuff the same way he unlocked the cell door. "Hashirama, the rest is yours."

Hashirama nodded. "Alright." Hashirama entered sage mode and stood over Reina. He made various hand signs before placing his hand on her abdomen. He focused his energy and the seals around the room swarmed her body and spiraled into Hashirama's palm before disappearing completely. His sage mode ceased and Hashirama smiled down at his sister. "Well, that should do it."

Reina slowly propped herself up and hissed in discomfort. "Ow, how long was I out for?"

"Longer than expected." Tobirama shrugged. "About two days."

Reina blinked in confusion. "Seriously?"

Hashirama nodded. "Yes, and I think it's about time you showered."

Reina furrowed her brows as she glared at him. "Wow, rude." A small smile tugged at her lips. "Can I eat something after? I'm starving."

"Sure thing, let's just bring you to your room." Hashirama helped Reina off the bed and the trio began walking upstairs to her room from the underground dungeon. Tobirama opened Reina's bedroom door and the siblings all walked in.

Reina looked up and her heart fluttered at the sight before her. "What is this?" She said with excitement. Her whole room was decorated with white flowers such as camellias, Japanese anemones, plumerias, hydrangeas, and, Reina's favorite flower, white spider mums. "Why? Who did this?"

"Madara did." Hashirama smiled. "He thought you'd want something nice to wake up to."

Reina froze. "You mean he knows about this? My episode, I mean." The two brothers nodded and Reina sighed. "That's so embarrassing."

"Don't be embarrassed," Tobirama stated bluntly.

"How can I not be?" Reina sighed. "I learn I'm going to marry him and lose absolute control of myself? How's that not rude and embarrassing?"

"Yes, but he knows it's because of stress and other things, not because of him," Hashirama reassured her sweetly.

Tobirama shook his head. "Reina, the man brought you flowers. What else could you want?"

"That's the perfect response." Hashirama second.

Reina sighed. "I guess you're right." She smiled and a blush crept up on her face. "Did he really do this for me?"

"Yes, he truly seems to care about you, Reina." Hashirama smiled. "Maybe when you have the strength, you should thank him."

"Perhaps I should." Reina froze, thinking about their intimate night, before shaking her head. She gathered herself and walked to her bathroom. "I won't be too long."

"Okay, we'll be downstairs waiting for you," Tobirama said as he waved and left.

"Are we going out?" Reina inquired.

Hashirama nodded. "Yeah, we decided not to cook." He shrugged and shut the door as he left her room.

"Fatty street food, here I come." Reina grinned as she excitedly entered her bathroom, shutting the door behind her.

Reina, Hashirama, and Tobirama were all out at a ramen stand chatting as the sun began to set. Reina annihilated her bowl and ordered another. She also ordered a breaded pork chop with some vegetables as a side and began pounding that down. Hashirama and Tobirama watched in amazement as Reina hammered down her food.

Reina paused and looked over at them. "What's up?"

"Nothing! Care for some sake?" Hashirama gestured to the bottle.

"Oh, no thank you. I'm dehydrated as it is." Reina sipped some of her water and set the glass down. She looked at her food and then turned to her brothers. "Hey, what's Madara's favorite food?"

Hashirama smiled. "Inarizushi, why?"

Reina smirked. "Mind if we stop by the market before we go home?"

Reina finished up wrapping a box in white, satin cloth. She smiled and placed the box in a basket, along with a bottle of sake. Reina grabbed the basket and walked to the door to put on her boots. Reina walked out the door and furrowed her brows.

"Since when do I use the front door?" Reina shook her head and began walking down the streets of Konoha to the Uchiha clan's sector. She watched as everyone went about their business. Nightlife in Konoha was always exciting and Reina loved the energy everyone had. It was like a drug she was addicted to. Reina continued walking until she came to a quieter end of the village. She stopped in front of Madara's house and took in a deep breath. "Here goes." Reina knocked on the front doors and waited for an answer. She stood there, looking at the surrounding trees when the door opened up to reveal Jun. Reina bowed, "Oh, hello, Jun."

"Good evening, Reina. What can I do for you?" He asked with curiosity.

"I'm so sorry for dropping by this late, but I was wondering if I could speak with Madara?" Reina asked nervously. "It's not super important, so if he's busy I understand."

"Nonsense. He'll need to learn to make time for you as his future wife." Jun smiled and let her in. "I believe he's in his study."

Reina bowed and took off her shoes after entering. "Oh, thank you." She parted with Jun and walked down the various hallways before making it to Madara's office. Reina slowly inhaled to calm her nerves before knocking on his door.

"Come in!" Madara called from the other side.

Reina bit her lips and squeezed her eyes shut before relaxing her face and opening the door. She gave a curt bow before entering the room and shutting the door behind her. "Hello, Madara."

Madara looked up from his papers and gave a small smile. "Hello, Reina. What a surprise."

She gave a sheepish grin as she walked up to his desk. "I apologize for disturbing you so late, but I wanted to talk to you."

"Oh? What about?" Madara set his papers down and looked up at her, giving his undivided attention.

Reina bowed again. "I wanted to apologize for my behavior. I'm sure you're aware of my… power instability."

"Reina, you don't have to apologize. It's not like I sustained an injury." Madara stood up from his chair.

Reina straightened herself up. "I know you weren't physically hurt, but I don't want you to have the impression that I had an outburst because I don't want to marry you. I don't want you to think that I am revolted by you. I also don't want you to think I'm a brat who threw a fit because I'm being told what to do." She sighed. "I know we had a rocky start, but I've grown to like who you are. What I don't like is having my freedoms taken away from me and being lied to. Especially, when it comes directly from my family. I just wanted you to know that. It has nothing to do with you. I look forward to being with you and I think that we will be very successful together." Reina stated as she looked into his eyes with sincerity, though she knew that she was laying to him, herself, and her brothers. Her brothers were even lying to themselves. They knew she didn't want to marry Madara because he is who he is, but politics comes first.

Madara froze at her statement. "What is this? Why do I feel so sentimental? This Senju's words have no significance and she's full of it. What am I saying?" Madara composed himself and gave a small smile with a nod. "I appreciate your kind words. I'm certain we will be fine as well." He examined the woman before him. "You look well, Reina. That's a relief."

"Thank you." Reina smiled and lifted the basket onto his desk. "I also brought you a present for being so kind." She gently set it down. "I appreciated the flowers. It was a moving gesture."

Madara could barely hide his blush. "Oh, I simply thought you would want something nice to wake up to. In truth, the flower shop ran out of your favorite flower so I had to buy others."

"You cleaned them out of flowers?" Reina chuckled.

Madara rubbed the back of his neck. "Yes, I guess it's rather comical in hindsight." He lowered his hand and looked at the basket. "You shouldn't have."

"Nonsense." Reina pushed it toward him. "Open it."

Madara smirked and took out the small sake bottle. "Oh, small batch sake. Thank you."

Reina smiled and nodded. "Open the box."

Madara removed the box from the basket and untied the cloth revealing a white box. He opened the box and immediately closed it, looking up at Reina with wide eyes. "Is this what I think it is?"

Reina giggled. "Maybe. It's my attempt at it."

Madara looked back down at the box and opened it up again. "You made me inarizushi?!"

"I heard it was your favorite, so I wanted to make it." Reina clasped her hands together and grinned. "Have some. There's a set of chopsticks in the basket."

Madara eyed them as his mouth watered. "It's like you knew I was starving. These look great." He grabbed the set of chopsticks and broke them apart. He picked up a piece of inarizushi and popped it into his mouth. Madara melted where he stood as he chewed his food. He swallowed and grinned. "Reina, this is delicious. I was going to bring this to the kitchen for everyone to have, but I think I'll just keep them here with me. Try not to judge."

Reina giggled. "Well, I'm glad you like them." She smiled and sighed. "Well, anyway, I suppose I better get going."

Madara furrowed his brows. "What? So soon?" He set down his chopsticks and closed his box of food. Madara walked around his desk and grabbed her by the waist. "Not on my watch."

Reina giggled as he pulled her towards him. "But it's late."

Madara shook his head. "Sorry, not a good excuse." He kissed her on the lips before gently sweeping her down onto the floor. Madara trailed his kisses down her neck, tickling her soft spot.

Reina squealed, delighted by his actions. "Madara, I have to-" She was silenced by a kiss that she melted into. Before she left, Reina and Madara had sex in his office.

Reina was standing in her shower, head against the wall. She couldn't get over her passionate interaction with Madara. Their chemistry was perfect and now it was endlessly occupying her mind. Not only did Madara listen to her when she spoke, but he also set aside his work for her, appreciated her gifts, and pleasured her with love and affection in every way. Reina blushed and held her head. She didn't want to fall in love, but she already knew she was plummeting deep into his world head first.
