Now for the main event (insert drumroll)
Percy POV:
"Bout time you showed up, I was starting to think you found a cute girl and ditched us for her" I chuckled
"Sorry, but she was cute. I invited her to hang out with us later" he said with a crazy grin that would make most teachers put him in detention (trust me it's happened before)
"Aww, is our widdle Leo in love" Jason teased in a baby voice
"Oh shut up, you both know that my heart has already been stolen" he said dramatically
"Yes" Connor started
"But sadly it shall never be returned" Travis finished
"Psh" he waved them off "It's just a matter of time, everyone falls for Leo eventually"
"Yeah when that day comes let me know" I said as I walked away
"Hey were you going, are your best friends already too boring for you"
I rolled my eyes
"No he's probably looking for some sweet innocent girl to take advantage of"
"Before you can you mean" Jason said slapping Travis on the back of his head
"Nah I'ma go look for the teddy bear"
"Oh he's in his room" Connor called
I gave him a thumbs up before running towards the elevator
During this time I would like to take a quick intermission to explain whats going on
My dad is the owner of this wonderful cruise line and therefore I am allowed to do anything I wish while I am on here, so every summer me and my friends spend our vacation doing something crazy, usually we use the boat or sometimes visit Jason's dad's private island or just travel. This year we once again chose the cruise experience because it was by far the most enjoyable one (not true but it was the one were I could be the most lazy so...)
Anyways back to the present
As I entered the elevator I quickly punched the number six button and tapped my foot impatiently as my slow rise started
'DING'
I quickly ran out of the elevator and ran into someone (cause why wouldn't I)
"Can you watch were your going next time?" the girl huffed angrily
"Sorry blondie, just in a rush" I said standing up and offering her a hand which she took begrudgingly
"My name's not blondie"
"Then what is the name of the 'blonde' which Ive had the pleasure of running into" I said sarcastically
"Annabeth"
What a pretty name I thought to myself
"Well nice to meet ya Annabeth, probably see you around sometime, but for now I bid you adieu" I said I started running down the corridor again
"Wait what's your name!?"
"It's a secret" I called back
As I continued my run I could swear I hear her mumble 'Boys'
Now that I think of it she was cute, she was wearing a flowy white top with jean shorts and brown leather sandals, she had blonde curly princess like hair and her eyes... wait what color were her eyes?
I'll probably figure it out sooner or later, we would be stuck on the same book for the next two months
I quickly stopped when I reached Frank's door
"Knock Knock, you ready man"
"Yea just a sec" he called back
"Bout time" I said slapping him on the back as he came out
"Sorry, I was calling my grandma"
"How is old grandma Zhang doing"
"Eh she's fine, the restaurant's doing well but I think she might be feeling a bit lonely"
"Don't worry, it's only two months, you'll be back before you know it"
He gave me a sheepish smile, the kinda of smile that would make all the girls say 'Awwww' in unison and proceed to make him blush
See Franks a big guy, he looks like he was born to be a linebacker, but on the inside he's just a big teddy bear and that doesn't really matter he's still a great guy
Come on lets go the guys are waiting
"Okay!" he said as he happily followed
I rolled my eyes
some things never change
"Wait, so you guys are just gonna leave me" I asked annoyed (and confused)
"Yup, see ya"
Yup those are my best friends
What am I supposed to do now
I looked around and my eyes landed on the surfing simulator, you see since we were on a boat most people get bored after a week or two of watching movies and massages so my dad being a genius added a bunch of other activities such as mini golf, an I-fly, a zip-line, a bunch of pools, waterslides, a whole arcade, trivia centers, board game rooms and (my favorite) a surfing simulator, theres still a bunch of other stuff but none of em can even compare
The surfing simulator was around twenty yards wide and ten yards long, it generated an endless amount of waves
I quickly tugged off my shirt set the level to high and well if you need me to explain what I did then your not that bright
I don't know how long I was there but after around maybe twenty thirty minutes I noticed someone watching me
Annabeth POV:
After my rude encounter with that (though very hot) guy, I headed towards the library (I had to ask three different staff members, the first two were confused bymy question)
I found a Sherlock Holmes book and made myself cozy by the fireplace
after a couple of hours I checked the time on my phone
"Shit!" I exclaimed
It was already 2:48
I grabbed all of my stuff and found the closest staff member
"Hi, sorry do you know where the surfing simulator is?"
"Yeah, if you go to the deck it's towards the front of the boat on the right side"
"Thank you" I yelled as I hurried off in the direction of the surf sim (I'm just gonna shorten it from now on)
When I reached it I was surprised to see that Leo was missing, there was however someone there
The boy looked around my age, he had blue swim trunks with wave designs, his body looked like that of a greek god, he had perfectly sculpted biceps and abs (it was hard not to stare), he had crazy raven black hair that was plastered over the frame of his face due to the water, he had a crazy smile like a little kid on Christmas morning and beautiful sea green eyes. The most surprising thing though was not his body (but it was a close second) it was how easily he was riding the ,alb-eight fake, waves, it looked as if it just came natural to him, like he was in his happy place.
I was brought back to reality when I realized that the boy had stopped and was standing right in front of me
"Hello" he waved a hand in front of my face
I realized (annoyed) that it was the same boy that had ran into me earlier
"You gonna keep checking me out or what"
"I was not checking you. out!" (I was)
"Uh huh, well have you just been stalking me or was this just a coincidence"
"My friend asked me to meet him and his friends here" I huffed
"When?"
I checked my watch
"Twenty minutes ago"
"Looks like you've been stood up"
"It wasn't a date" I said annoyed
"Well, my friends ditched me as well so... hey!" his eyes lit up with excitement "You wanna get ice cream?"
I raised my eyebrow "With a stranger I just met"
"Well technically we met earlier, aint that right Annie"
I rolled my eyes
"My name is Annabeth not Annie, and I guess you just have a forgettable face"
"Psh, every girl I've talked says the exact opposite" he said lowering his face next to mine
"Well I guess I'm different then"
"I like different" he said in a low voice
I felt the heat rise to my cheeks and I shoved his (Very hard) chest back (How much does he work out)
"Well you said you'd buy me ice cream"
"No, I asked if you wanted ice cream" he retorted
"Your a Nuisance" I mumbled
"Thank you!"
"It's not a compliment"
"Come on princess" he said tugging me along
"I'm not your princess" I protested
"Not yet" he said with a wink
"I don't even know your name"
"Percy" he paused and turned around to face me
"Nice to meet ya"
